Panda Express

I placed an online order and arrived shortly after, knowing my food should’ve been ready. Even though the system mistakenly listed the pickup time as 12AM, I explained to the staff that I was already there and ready to pick up. They told me they’d prepare it, but instead, I ended up standing there for nearly 20 minutes. What makes it worse is that it’s Panda Express—it’s cafeteria-style. The food I ordered was literally sitting right there in front of me the entire time. I could see it. Nothing needed to be cooked or prepared fresh. They just didn’t prioritize my order or acknowledge my wait. I could’ve made the plate myself faster than they did. This isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue at this location either. On another visit, a staff member gave me the total before even asking if I wanted a drink, which I did. It’s like there’s no interest in offering proper service or attention to detail. This kind of careless treatment is frustrating, especially for something as simple as picking up an online order. I hope this location seriously reevaluates how it handles mobile orders and customer interactions.

Very impressed with this location! Great service everything was fully stocked and the kitchen was clean. Food was perfect!

One of the girls on the serving line was very rude she rushes you while you are trying to order. I had some questions and she ignored my questions and just kept repeating if I wanted brown rice or white rice so I got the impression that she wasn't interested in answering my questions. The tables were all dirty. We had to clean our table ourselves

Whenever I am done with work and need to get a big meal I come over here to panda express to get the best food late night. If you need a late night snack come here. Customer service is always on point

Snuck out the airport and my family decided we all wanted panda express and luckly this panda express closes at 2:30am. They were so awesome and on top of everything !! Thank you so much LA panda express. Blessings from a Colorado native. ♡♡

I love Panda Express. It's so good and they always use fresh ingredients. I can get dishes with vegetables. I like that Super Greens are an option as I am watching my carbohydrate intake. But they b stingy when they serve like it cum out dey check. Slap it on there girl. More is gonna get made. But I understand it's "company policy" but I feel like they do it cuz the USC boys be so hungry after partying and they don't want to see them lose their cute figures. I get it I don't want to watch them turn into Gracie Bon from tik tok either. "Boom boom" ( term from urban dictionary look it up. The Tampa Florida version not the original East Asian version. But I love getting the original boom boom here. I will be back. I love eating my boom boom with chopy sticks. I feel fancy. Better for the environment too. All the plastic we Americans be wasting. So bad. But jokes aside solid place. 🤗

I was supposed to get my food at 12:30, didn’t get it till 1pm which made me late to work. I asked 3 times for a refund and the manager told me I had to wait for my food, he ain’t giving me a refund. All of this for it to NOT be my order. FU.

It got really bad. For $13, I got DRY PASTA WITHOUT cabbage and butter, dry old pasta, old shrimp, and yesterday’s dry chicken, the money is not returned to me. I appeal to the management, I ask you to return the money for the old spoiled products!

Yes 1000 times yes when you hit this place during lunch and they are refreshing the food like nobody's business you're gonna get that delicious crispy orange chicken that like you first got from panda express and why you keep going back... I also throw in the honey shrimp and now they've got like these veggies. I don't really care for the rice so the veggies and the chow mein Yum Ola yeah 14 bucks later I'm out of the door and I've got food that's gonna last me for two days for lunch I guess it's not too bad, right? You know Service is always good. They're always asking you what you want and that's because there's a many people in line so they're trying to be nice so they can get you through the line. I know how the system works and it's always very clean and they always ask me if I need any condiments at the end I do appreciate that! And they always have a good sound going on like good music is always playing that makes me happy... so on top of getting like the freshly cooked delicious bites from panda express that I break into two different meals. I would just say that like everything is fully stocked and everything is very clean.

I just went to Panda Express and I got the The Chili Shrimp Crisp. It was good but they charged for like 3 or 4 shrimps. I'm so mad they did that they shouldn't had not charged it and should've had give more.

Everything time I order i get less and less in portion size they treat it like it comes out of there paychecks

Place was clean, staff was friendly, and food met the expectation. I had the shrimp, Lo mein, and vegetables. The vegetables were especially good. I was impressed with them.

I've never really like Panda Express but for some reason I wanted Panda Express today. I didn't expect michelin star food but what I got today was pretty decent. It wasn't busy when I came so I got my food relatively quick. I got fried rice, chow mein noodles, beef & broccoli, chicken & string beans and a side of crab rangoons. All the food was okay but I particularly enjoyed the crab rangroons! It was 3 pieces for only $1.50! Such a steal. Overall, the restaurant itself was clean and the service was friendly. I recommend Panda Express if you're looking for fast service and cheap food. I always come back once in a blue moon.

No love If you want regular sized portions, always order in person. They skimp out on portions like crazy with online/mobile orders. 4 tiny pieces of meat for my premium priced side! WTF !?! Never again. Save yourselves!!! S/o to the employees tho they always got a good attitude! PS. I already had a draft saved for this location with the same experience. Smh ALWAYS ORDER IN PERSON

The staff was rude, I ask one of them if I could use the restroom and they never opened The place wasn't the cleanest to eat there at the time I was there around 3:45pm Monday

Been coming here a lot for the convenience and the novelty of the orange chicken but a lot has changed the past couple years. Other than the prices getting higher, the portion sizes have started getting smaller and inconsistent. One day I'll be having the freshest orange chicken then the next the chicken is chewy and soggy. Some days I'll get a good amount of the chicken, then some days like today I'll get like 5 pieces. The chow mein was room temp and the Beijing beef seemed like it was old and soggy. The cream cheese wontons were probably best thing I got from today's order. Parking here is horrendous. Everyone in that parking lot either went to the bar/northern cafe across the street, or just parked there just to do sit in their cars. I'll come back for the wontons and hopefully next time the food is a lot more fresh

The food is very tasty for fast food, the service is very good, the place is very clean, the staff is friendly, as a restaurant should be, congratulations team

Was waiting for an online order and it was taking longer than expected... usually I would be disappointed but all of the workers were super friendly and the homie Bryant made sure to get it resolved immediately! Panda express is not somewhere I would go often... but the great customer service experience today definitely elevated it in my book!

Im a frequent costumer but this time the food did not taste good. Noodles had no flavor and they were hard to chew on.

Just had a large order delivered and the noodles are literally hard, the fried rice is stale, beef broccoli COLD! Not to mention orange chicken was completely missing. I tri calling them to resolve this but no one answered so I'm leaving this review since my call was ignored.

I love there service , it was great friendly and super clean store . Parking not so great but totally not there fault . I order a family meal and help was great but I got how and open our Kung Pao Chicken and it's SUPER Super HOT ( spicy ) wow I get it that's the kick but this is not eatable. All my family suffers from acid reflex and this will kill us .! Don't the chefs try the food ? For taste and just to check flavors??? Why won't you warm your costumer.. just saying it ruin our dinner .one scoop had all this hot chiles

The staff did not listen to me at all. She put the different enter on the plate from what I asked her. I told her it is not the one I asked, but she kept ignoring me. She was chatting with other staffs without any issue, so she definitely could hear me. All the staffs in this store chat too much. They did not pay attention to customers and condition of the store. There was trash left on the floor, and they seem don't care

Terrible service. The franchisers should be upset at how this location is managed. Ordered a la carte meals last night, the bag came in with opened boxes (all this during a pandemic... where people are supposed to be more cautious) Called the location to speak with a manager and the guy who answered just hung up as soon as he heard "manager".... we ended up throwing the food away and wasting close to $50 (including driver tip) Not cool guys.

This Panda sucks. Ordered a bowl which is about 9 dollars, asked for some rice and orange chicken and got served scraps. Not even enough chicken for a kids meal, just embarrassing. They're gonna throw out the food at the end of the day anyways, acting like the chicken is coming out of their paycheck. Not even real Chinese food, it was the closest available and I was on the go. Never coming back here again that's for sure.

I ordered a bowl and she purposely gave me no chicken and a little rice I've dealt with racism here before but this was an all time low then when I ordered a side of sesame she's like what's the problem smh you know what you did it's so sad how someone's skin color can bring out the real you imagine not liking someone simply because of How they look. One thing for sure you get what you give in life so that energy will come right back to her. I'll never understand why Latinos are racist when there half black anyway.

Fast, friendly service. Quality and taste was on the bland, stale side. Good place to fuel up. Parking is tricky as is turning in from Figueroa.

Came in just right now after Super Bowl to get something quick to eat, the young worker by the name Diego, gives out the SMALLEST scoops of whatever you decide to order. Definitely does not give money worth amount of food. Owners/managers need to have a talk with DIEGO

i hate panda for not giving me fucking their proper servings on my orders when i order delivery i called there around 230pm to complain to the manager and she act like she didn't give a fuck panda need to run me a 300 gift card ordering isn't fucking cheap for them to keep half assing run me my gift 200 dollar plus gift card.

As you can see on the photo I have a plate which is missing the teriyaki chicken. I found out after I got home. I feel is a little my fault for not paying attention. I've been here before and it is the first time it happens.

I'm laughing as I write this. You're going to read this and think to yourself, clout chasing! There's no way what he's saying could be true. Oh' it's true. Lmao! I get here. Again. If you read my reviews you know that my experience with Panda Express in general has been a rocky relationship, loolol So I'm inside in line. I tell the young person in line what I'd like and scoot down so I can see what other sides they had. The server follows and we hit a pinch in the line. We get thru the traffic jam in the sides line and now there's a pinch and my food sits with many other orders. Some waiting for fresh food or cashing out. Now here's where it gets interesting. They forgot who got what and who was waiting for what and now everyone's food is just sitting there and they are opening the containers and walking food up and down the line asking; "did you order this?" .. "did yooou order this??" LMFAO!!! Bruh, I was asked four times and three of the four times the fooood wasn't mine. looolol smdh as I walked out the line continued to grow in numbers and problems lol. I hope everyone got what they wanted lolool

I always order with Uber , but I've never received a proper order. They don't always give sauce. It's okay to wait a long time, but I hope the food is served properly.

Not a fan of Panda Express honestly the spring rolls I had were cold and hard so not really pleasing and the meat I chose did not taste fresh will try again and see if opinion changes

3 stars because I've generally had a smooth experience. Today, however, I had to wait about 45 mins for my mobile order to be ready. Just 3 items: 2 bowls and 1 appetizer. Was told it wasn't ready yet the first time I asked for my order when I arrived. I decided to ask another employee about 5 mins after and she recalled making the order and confirmed it had been handed to someone else with the employee who had just told me it wasn't ready yet. Had to wait longer than necessary for a relatively small order. Must've been rush hour and all that since it was around 6:30pm. Plenty of ppl showed up after and ordered their food as they moved along the food line and received their food before my mobile order that had been placed at least 20 mins before so you might be better off avoiding placing mobile orders and just show up and order in line. I thought mobile orders would help avoid wasting time in line but I ended up wasting more time waiting to receive my order anyway.

I almost choked on a piece of metal. I got a bowl of white rice and mushroom chicken and suddenly im swallowing and i feel something sharp. Almost cut my throat with this stupid shit. Its my first and las time eating here

I've loved panda for a very long time, but unfortunately this store has completely changed my mind. I just ordered my food online about an hour ago. And my food was missing utensils, no napkins not even the fortune cookie. I started ordering online because the employees there always have a bad attitude and have no manners whatsoever. Unfortunately I can't eat with a regular fork which is why I ask for chopsticks. Sadly the restaurant doesn't know how to treat their customers or even get an online order right. I tried to call several times and the phone was never picked up. I hope this store gets new management and a new team. It's upsetting that it has to come to me writing a bad first ever review on a restaurant I love. If anyone has any idea how I can get my refund, I would appreciate that.

Sad sad sad. I understand they are near The University of Southern California (USC), with no other location within 5-10 miles. Today a server by the name of "Gen" was very rude and not to mention a customer that was in front of me had a complaint about "Gen" also. Customer service is very important which includes attitudes. Let continue her to train the workers on greeting customers and not allowing transients to beg for money outside of the store.

This is the worst managed Panda Express location location ever. Ordered via app at 9:34; left with food at 10:44. While we are all standing out there waiting outside, the girl is occasionally coming out to hand small orders, but she has no updates on the delay. 3rd time she says "we are short handed", 4th time she says they are overwhelmed at the counter, 5th time a new person says "go inside and place you orders at the counter" (that's at the 45 min mark. Go inside and apparently their system had a problem and spit out a bunch of app orders at once. No apology, no kind words, just attitude - but now also from the people in line because they think we are going first. Whole experience, as usual for this location, was a total nightmare. Best part: the orders were wrong. Two vegetarians orders were filled with broccoli beef. Luckily the dogs liked it.

I have been to the Panda Express location inside Pavilions at Vine and Melrose, and it doesn't cease to amaze how rude Lucy (Mexican employee) is. Right away, one can tell she hates her job. She makes an effort to smile, but her manners and tone give her away. I would not recommend anyone to go there. I certainly stopped. The first time, I thought she might be having a bad day, but it's happened several times. She's simply miserable there, and she passes that one to the customers.

5 star for the person who helped me alone while his coworker watch him only even people are lining up waiting for their turn to order.

i placed an orde through uber eats 3 plates of food took 2 hours ! drivers kept changing because when they would get to restaurant food was not ready

Don't order delivery from here, they mess up the order every time. Missing entrees, wrong entrees.... I've never experienced worse, every time it's something. Usually I catch it when they miss an entree, but not the last time I went. I get home and only got a fraction of what I ordered.

I order catering for my company with them all the time and Randall, the shift leader, is very communicative, friendly and on time! It's a pleasure working with them.

Terrible service; manager Shirley is a brute and doesn't know how to treat customers. Wouldn't even allow me to go use the restroom And yes, I was a customer ! This Panda Express is no good. Would recommend just about anything else!

Probably the WORST panda location ever! We ordered online. Thirty minutes later, we arrived with the expectation of the food being ready. Boy, was I wrong! Took 10 mins for me to reach the counter due to the long line. Was told food wasn't ready. Then took another 15 for my food to be prepared. They need to figure their shit out. SMH

Food is always cooked to a perfection. Best fast food Chinese restaurant you can go to. Customer service always on point and the air conditioned indoors always feel great especially during the summer.

I walked with a broken bone from the urgent care to Panda Express and on the way back I noticed that they put a cup in my bag, gave me no utensil, nor no napkins. I believe I didn't want to go back because I would believe the cashier would have a angry face from her own responsibilities. Other than that the food is great but cashiers needa learn sum not gonna lie.

Unfortunately tonight was a disappointment. We had two orders of beijing beef substituted (or they couldnt read) with broccoli beef One of those particular Beijing's was for my 7 year old on his birthday...panda which he specifically requested...and already stuck in his house with everything going on. We also had an order of honey walnut shrimp subbed out for ... broccoli beef as well for whatever reason We ordered through the app and doordash picked up With covid 19 it is not doordashes responsibility to open the boxes for obvious health reasons...we live in Fairfield delivered from vallejo so not like we could just do a return...I called 3 times to no avail...just ignored...once picked up and hung up on So a 93$ dollar order for a family of 5 adults 2 kids ruined on a 7 year olds birthday and then ignored...how do we resolve this... Let's not forget the hair in my wifes noodles

I really appreciate panda hq reaching out to me. I really do enjoy their food and it's nice that the HQ actually reads and cares about they yelp reviews. I appreciate the effort.

I was sitting up in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles trying to figure out where I could go for Chinese food at this time of night. I grew up in the New York City area. And thus far I haven't really found Chinese food anywhere in the country that appeals to me as much as some of my favorite locations back east. So this is my quest I wanted to find some place that was open super late and was reliable. I came to this location and they were out of the two chicken dishes that I like the most. So here I sit in the parking lot trying to figure out where I can go next. If anybody is reading this and can recommend somewhere hit me up. And I don't care if it's a week or a month or a year away, just let me know. Thanks in advance for your reply. Now I'm kind of pissed off cuz I could have had Fatburger at Hollywood and Vermont and been done with it.

If your waiting for your pick up, you're just going to have to wait. I told her my name she looked for it didn't see it then act like I wasn't even there. I don't like saying names. But cmon yo, it shouldn't be that hard to make a bowl with 2 things. Instead of doing nothing, do your job. I should've just got my money back for waiting 20 minutes on an order that hasn't been started. Do better. I know I'm just 1 person and it may not matter. But I won't be back fasho. Just do what you signed up for or quit.

On restaurant row by USC. Pretty consistent Chinese food. Good variety, no msg, free refills at fountain drink area, decent size dining room, patio sitting area with a small parking lot, it works. Usually get in and out pretty easy. They take phone in orders with reserved parking spaces. Good for a late night Chinese food fix.

This Panda deserves 5 stars I always come here when craving orange chicken. Great customer service and great staff they make sure they keep the line moving and always have fresh food out Great job to the management team keep up the good work Doesn't go unnoticed Also thank your staff for me :)
