Google
The fish tacos were amazing. You can either have it grilled or fried. I opted for the fried fish. It was delicious. Melts in your mouth. Kudos

John LaCarter

Google
The food is on par with a regular Papasito's. Always very tasty. The tap water on the other hand... tasted like they dipped it right out of the toilet. They need to filter that water. Absolutely disgusting.

Grant Donnelly

Google
Ordered a breakfast burrito, was very flavorful and under $10. The size was a little small but overall a good value. They offer a discount to airport employees.

Kamil Wilczynski

Google
I don't understand the high score of this restaurant. Defrost meat, a little bit cold. Never had in burrito so much sauce and oil, which was coming out.

Patrick Hanley

Google
Very typical disappointing Airport food. $16 for some “nachos“ was a very minimal amount of additions. I had added ground beef to the nachos to try to bump up the flavor, but there wasn’t much added to the chips. The Diet Coke tasted fine.

Google
Second time here. Only place to get fresh juices. I’ve walked a good bit. They also have organic salads and other healthy options. They are the healthiest option in the terminal. The price is high as expected for healthy airport food. Would be nice if they got away from plastic products. Never much of a line and the women that work here are helpful.

Stacy Litchford

Google
Pappasito's Cantina is the best food in the Houston Airport. How do I know? Because all of the pilots and flight crew frequent the line. The menu is easy to read and understand. There are plenty of options without being overwhelming, and the food is delicious! I enjoyed the beef enchiladas with the red chili sauce. I really enjoyed the rice, beans, and salsa as well. Seriously, next time you are in an airport watch where the pros go. I could not have asked for a better lunch.

Google
Very good Tex Mex airport food We had the cheese quesadillas. Our order came with a small salad with sour cream and jalapeños. The quesadillas had a good amount of cheese and flavor. They have a good variety of options on the menu to accommodate most preferences. There's plenty of seating available around Pappasitos Cantina

Yelp
In an E food court right where c turns into E. I Travel thru Houston all the time. This is my go to for a quick meal. Chicken enchiladas with an extra salsa and a margarita. Salt. In Styrofoam but it's an airport. Fast with lots of seating nearby. 4/5 on airport food scale.

Yelp
Giving it four stars because of the priciness but honestly it's just almost impossible to find good quality food for a cheap price at the airport. I ordered a salad with beef fajita and paid $22 after tax and before tip. This salad was HUGE. Mainly because of it being 90% lettuce above everything else in this salad, the dressing made it addictive anyway. Some people may not like that but I didn't mind much. The steak was tender and delicious and makes me wish I ordered their beef fajitas instead (but oh well I was trying to be healthy for once). I just wish they weren't so stingy about their steak as it was $8.99 as an add on. Service was friendly as the cashier asked me if I wanted ranch or tequila lime dressing with a smile. I chose the tequila lime dressing and was happy I did. The smell at the counter was amazing as seeing the chef grill meat right in front of everyone (what brought me over in the first place!)

Yelp
This is my go-to stop within the Houston airport. I get the Fajita Platter with Chicken & Corn Tortillas. I let them know I have an allergy and this is the safest option. The staff is always very nice and knowledgeable. It is a little pricey, but most airport options are. The food comes out pretty quickly too which is great if you need a quick meal before your flight!
google avatar

Christopher C.

Yelp
A bit pricey, but everything in the airport is. The chicken enchiladas are solid and (hopefully) won't upset the stomach in the flight! Tasty. Cheers!

Yelp
It's not fair that Pappasito's isn't in every airport but I guess then the term airport food would mean something different. Coming from CT to TX for work a few times a year I gorge on Mexican food even at airport. This time I ordered pulled chicken burritos, sauce on the side and double rice. The mesquite flavor of the chicken (cooked right in front of you!) makes this an incredibly tasty combination. If I wasn't with a colleague I probably would have ordered a second batch... Come to the East Coast Pappasito's, we are waiting for you!
google avatar

Laurie V.

Yelp
Oh man, I'm having trouble deciding on the right number of stars. Fajitas will cost you 21 bucks (that is with an airline employee discount) and while they are "good", they are not "great". But the real piss-poor thing here is the TIME it takes. I was the oNLy person waiting for an order and it took over 20 minutes. Good thing I had some serious time between flights. I don't know if I am in a hurry to get food from here again, but the flavor is quite palatable and satisfying. I just can't usually afford to wait that long for my order.

Yelp
Located in the E1 Food court, this is where I usually go for breakfast. Although I found out the one at Hobby Airport has closed. The food court was busy on a Wednesday morning around 8:30. Breakfast Tacos are perfect to take on the plane and two are enough. They were out of Steak so ordered the potato/egg/cheese and sausage (jalapeño link)/egg/cheese. Simple ingredients that play nicely together. Breakfast is served until 10:30. They have a full bar and of course the rest of their Tex Mex offerings for lunch/dinner. Service was friendly and quick.

Yelp
Excellent overall... for airport food this was fantastic. Tasty Beef fajitas grilled right before your eyes and I even got a nice military discount!! it was definitely worth the extra five minute walk out of the way.

Stephanie C.

Yelp
We had a delicious lunch here! I ordered the chicken fajita platter and found the chicken to be moist and well seasoned. My family members really liked the Cancun burrito. We had to wait quite a while for our food and they used styrofoam to serve the food, which knocked it down a bit.
google avatar

Phil A.

Yelp
I was genuinely surprised at how good the food was here!! Now, I know I was hungry, but those fish tacos hit the spot!! They were really good! The rice and beans were also good. I ordered chips and salsa and they gave me a big bag of chips, I probably wouldn't have ordered them if I knew they were gonna give me so many chips. I actually forgot that this was airport' food, which I have nothing against, but usually it's not this good. Now, you do have to wait a while for your food, so if you're in a hurry, don't come here. But I had a long layover in the Houston Airport, so I had plenty of time, glad I found this place!!

Yelp
Vegetarian Review: It was "okay." This is just a small counter where you order, and then go find a table. It is not a regular restaurant. Instead, it's in a food court. The employees were pleasant and prompt. The place appeared clean, and after seeing the video last year of rats chowing down at Panda Express (located directly across from them), believe me, I was looking! I wouldn't say the rats are gone because they were having a fiesta in the rafters while we were waiting for a flight to Mexico a few weeks ago. Anyway- the portion sizes were large, and there were multiple vegetarian options, including bean nachos, cheese enchiladas, and quesadillas. We ordered the bean nachos, water, and a margarita. When we placed our order, the woman asked if we wanted meat, I declined, and she asked if we were vegetarians. I don't know if that is why we got black beans, or if they use those all the time, but if you're a vegetarian, you may want to mention it. The nachos were meh, but we ate about 1/2 of them. The beans were acceptable. The cheese was terrible- just the orange "cheese-inspired" sauce that you might find on stale nachos at a kid's sporting event. The nachos come with pico de gallo, and they use A LOT. If you don't love onions, ask for it on the side or not at all. They will give you a side of salsa, but it's bland, like most cheap jarred salsas. The dealbreaker- the frozen margarita was unforgivably bad. Maybe their top tier variations are better, but this one tasted like lemon-lime concentrate without the benefit of tequila. At least I got a wedge of lime. In summary, if you're hungry, this place isn't gross, but it's not great either. Do not get the frozen margarita!

Yelp
The food was almost edible, but service was on a new level of bad! You must order you food at your table ON LINE! No wait staff. The cellphone reception is incredibly bad. I tried to check for wifi, but there is a ton of them, which is their's and what is the password? No way of knowing, again no wait staff. Then charged streak house prices for Fast food quality food. Then, just to insult me the online payment app asked me for an 18% tip!

Yelp
Happy hour specials are amazing. Food is delicious and premium margarita is top notch. Went there several time during my work trip in Houston.
google avatar

Yelp
I had the catfish. It was good but not the best I've ever had. Nothing to say about ambiance, it's in the airport and largely a bar. Service was good, but what I really liked was the pineapple margarita. That drink was amazing. I've tried making it myself but it's nowhere near as good.
google avatar

Julisa W.

Yelp
I'm genuinely surprised how good this was! I got the Cancun burrito and the char on the chicken fajita meat was superb. The avocado was fresh. Not overwhelmingly stuffed with anything, all evenly distributed. Which can be hard to find in a burrito sometimes! But the star for me was the chips and salsa. I was craving and this didn't disappoint. The salsa tastes homemade with some char and the chips are light and airy with lots of folded chips, if you're into that service was prompt and the girl at the counter was a peach even though I'm a klutz and dropped my water she just filled. It's a food court in the airport so you can imagine the setting hehe pretty dang good!

Yelp
Pappasitis cantina is a great place for lunch or dinner. The service is really great and the ambiance is cool. The food was terrific and tasted fantastic. I felt like it was expensive for what you get, but i will be back.
google avatar

Hameed A.

Yelp
Asked for breakfast burrito with steak. Got one with sausage and steak at very bottom of burrito. Ingredients uneven throughout. No flavor. Onion outer layer inside. Salsa only thing redeeming. Don't ruin Pappasitos name with this!
google avatar

Charles J.

Yelp
The burrito I had was good! This is a place I will stop at on many layovers in the airport! Fresh and delicious! Service was also quick in and out to catch your plane!

Yelp

Yelp
Delicious margaritas and great food! We have stopped here often as we are staying nearby the airport before a vacation. The service is always good as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Location: inside airport Price: high Wait time: depends on season We had guacamole and chips. We wanted something to snack before boarding plane. Staff: friendly The guacamole was tasty, however it had no spicy at all. The chips on the other hand were quite oily and very thin. I was not able to do the chip and dip, I had to use a spoon to avoid breaking every chip.

Yelp
Did I even think that I would get great food at the airport? I mean, I expected OK and expensive would have been happy with that but GREAT? AS IN THE BEST FISH TACO IN MY LIFE GREAT? I couldn't even hope but guys, GUYS!! It happened! You heard me... it was the best grilled fish taco I have ever had, BOY oh BOY was it perfect. It was seasoned just right, had a little bit of char, the toppings delicious and flavorful and the tortillas FRESH. The tacos were also huge. I mean I am in Texas, so big portions are the norm. The rice and beans that came with them were really good too, but I was full after one taco but STILL ate the second because it was delicious and I didn't want it to go to waste. Don't judge me. I have no regrets. Please come to downtown Orlando. We would love to have you here downtown, and not in the tourist area. That area sucks, locals don't go there.
google avatar

Yelp
Best Tex-Mex restaurant ever! The Chicken Fajitas are incredible. The garlic butter sauce is the perfect topping!

Yelp
Are you kidding? 3.5 stars for Pappasitos? This is one of the best airport restaurants in the US fast or dine in. I know because I have been to 95% of large airports and most small. Most airport food sucks. Total garbage. Not this. It is same quality as Pappasitos freestanding restaurants which are very good. My go to is the Cancun burrito. I throw in my bag and eat on the plane. Today I was running very late, flight was in C and still ran to E to get burrito on. If you have a few minutes, great margaritas and ice cold beer. Pappasitos have locations at both Bush and Hobby and DFW and Love Field. Pappas family know how to operate restaurants. They hire great teams and food is good to some places great. Pappas Bro's steakhouse is one of the best in the USA. Enjoy
google avatar

Yelp
If you opt to get food quickly from this establishment and are between flights, please make sure you are have at least 20 minutes. Pappasito's is a popular chain in Texas and a favorite in this terminal and as such, they are really that busy. Their prices are higher ($15 pre-tax for a Cancun burrito) but the ingredients are fresh and food is good. Every time I have been here, they have been severely understaffed.
google avatar

Rogers J.

Yelp
Rushing to make a connecting flight, I grabbed an Enchilada plate at Pappasito's. The food was really good, but pricey. That plate and a bottle of water cost $23!

Jp M.

Yelp
Total wow for food and service! Our birthday party was blown away by server and staff singing to the birthday boy. Thank you for lovely evening.
google avatar

Yelp
Easy review, unfortunately nothing new and unexpected Inside the Houston airport food court Dry, cold, hard rice, tried to dip it into black beans which I had to have cuz they were out of other beans. No taste Corn Enchiladas were expensive, $15.99 cheese was hard and cold, had to cut with knife to eat No taste Beware gluten free peeps: NOT GF as tho it is corn they share the frying oil with other products Best thing were the drinks I bought in bottles. But they were like almost $5 each So there it is, all adds up to ..... wait for it......... Airport food ! We are their hostages ... trying sushi next time

Yelp
Stopped here on a layover not expecting much (it's airport food), but it was actually a great meal! I ordered a chicken quesadilla and was impressed with the quality and cooking of the chicken. It had a great texture and was super juicy. That seems hard to do in airports, at least based on previous airport chicken encounters. The quesadilla itself was really crispy. There was a small amount of salsa on the side which honestly looked better than it tasted. There was an abundance of lettuce (I would have been happy if they filled the second little "cup" in the tray with just pico and sour cream instead...), and pickled jalapeños on the side as well. One other note: So. Much. Cheese. Like, pools of melted cheese were falling out the sides. Which for cheese lovers is great! They definitely were not skimping on the cheese. Because all that cheese made it kind of heavy, I might order something else next time, but this was still really good.
google avatar

Luke M.

Yelp
Probably the most unappetizing burrito I have ever tasted in my life! The picture says it all. I ordered the Cancun Burrito. This "thing" with a Diet Coke and a bottle of water set me back $23! Never ever eat at this Airport location!
google avatar

Jesse J.

Yelp
Great for lunch with no wait during the week. Waiters always came around making sure all is well, refilling drinks, etc. This is a typical Pappasito's design and ambiance here in Houston. Was not rushed at all. Great for a business lunch with coworkers.
google avatar

Melanie S.

Yelp
Papasitos at the airport is tucked into a crowded little food court at Terminal E. I was stuck there on a 10 hour delay and wanted some lunch. The menu is short, but they had good options. I had crunchy chicken tacos, rice and beans, and guacamole. The tacos and sides were quite good. The tacos were wrapped up but stayed crunchy and the beans had a handful of cheese on top,, which kind of leveled them up for me.. The meal was really overpriced for what I got, and the sour cream and guacamole had to be close to $1.50 each. For lunch at the airport, I was fairly pleased.
google avatar

RJ A.

Yelp
Houston Airport has a lot of good options to choose from but I decided to try a Tex-Mex place while in Texas. The burritos looked good so I asked the guy at the counter if I should get the chicken or the ground beef one. He said he didn't know because he'd never tried either. Interesting. I wound up doing the Monterrey burrito, which had chicken and queso. It was a little runny from the queso but the flavors were good. My biggest disappointment was the size. I paid $15 for a burrito the size of my hand. Everyone knows that airport food is expensive but if I spend $15 on a burrito I'd at least like to be full. Unfortunately, I wasn't. In the future I'd go to the Panda Express across the way. It's obviously not local but their prices were low and you'll know how much food you're getting.
google avatar

Peter D.

Yelp
Airport food. Always a crapshoot. I chose Pappasito's out of all the options in this food court not because of how healthy it is (I would've starved myself after three days of Texas gluttony if I was really looking out for my body), nor because of how unhealthy it is (I would've gone with Panda Express if I was truly looking for the worst thing to stuff into my face). I chose Pappasito's because the employees were joking and laughing with each other, and I think happy people do a better job of just about everything (and are definitely less likely to do something unsanitary to my food out of spite for the world). I'll never know if my chicken quesadilla was better than whatever the sad folks at Panda Express would've shoveled onto my plate, but I do know it was pretty solid for a 'dilla made in six minutes (that was the time quoted, and the exact time it took to get delivered), and the salsa was pretty fresh, even if it could've used some more heat. I'd do it again, even though it got crushed in the box when I got on my plane.
google avatar

Max B.

Yelp
It's in the airport so expectations were low, but Pappasito's turns out a pretty tasty breakfast burrito. It was a good size burrito and had a good mix of eggs, potatoes, beans and bacon. They included 2 side cups of some decent salsa without asking, which was very much appreciated. I haven't had any of their other offerings, but if you're in the market for some desayuno in terminal E, Pappasito's is a solid bet!

Gabriela O.

Yelp
$20 salad not worth the price. I paid extra for "steak" it was $6.99 to add it only to have it sprinkled on. Not a good value for the price. I will choose somewhere else to eat next time.
google avatar

Arlette C.

Yelp
A lil bit expensive but the plates and servings are good and the waitress Top she was amazing!!!
google avatar

Chona L.

Yelp
Thanks Andrea you where awesome making those well needed margaritas loved them. Chicken fajitas also on point specially inside a very busy airport.
google avatar

Ronald M.

Yelp
Worst place..... took over 20 minutes to get my food..... ordered a quesadilla, they said took just 10 minutes..... well, it was 25 minutes and nothing, order's after me, came out but mine isn't, so I decided to get my money back!
google avatar

Robert S.

Yelp
Typical airport food - expensive, very small portions and a really stupid method to order and pay. Not sure what one is supposed to tip when all the server does is bring your plate from the kitchen to the bar. Zero interaction with anyone except the iPad.
google avatar

Melissa H.

Yelp
It had been MONTHS since my last Dr Pepper, so on a recent layover, I bee-lined it to Pappasitos to get my DP and breakfast burrito fix. The service was super friendly and efficient. It's a simple walk-up line for ordering and a separate one for pickups where you can also get condiments, napkins, straws, etc. I had no wait time for ordering at all. Pappasitos is nestled in a small food-court-type area with few, if any, places to sit, especially when it's busy. It was pretty busy when I arrived, so I just took my order back to my gate. I ended up waiting to eat until after takeoff since I wasn't very hungry, plus it gave my burrito's delicious flavors a chance to meld into even more deliciousness. I hope I didn't annoy the passengers around me. If anything, they were probably wishing they'd done the same. The only thing that left me scratching my head was the tip line on the receipt. Why do almost all US airport walk-up-and-order restaurants have these? What would I be tipping for? I think this must just an American thing.

Yelp
Pappasito's Cantina it's a great place for a substantial and delicious breakfast within the food court at the Houston IAH airport, Terminal E. There's always a lot of people at this airport and the idea is to get customers served quickly. This is not the fastest food available, but it is one of the best in this Terminal. As I approached the counter I was immediately greeted and asked if I was ready to order. I made a quick decision to get the breakfast burrito. It is really large and will definitely fill you up, so for the $6.29 price it's a really good deal. It had beans, eggs, potatoes, pico de gallo, cheese and your choice of meat wrapped up in a flour tortilla. The person who waited on me was bright, cheerful and engaging. I asked about the coffee as I could not remember whether they serve a medium or dark roast. It turns out they serve a dark roast, so I ordered sweet iced tea. After placing your order and paying for it, move to the left and they will call out your number when your order is ready. Since this is in a food court, Pappasito's shares the seating area with several other restaurants. Restrooms are around the corner. The airport staff takes care of cleaning the common areas, and usually do a very good job keeping up. Sometime I want to try their fish tacos to see if they are as good as the picture looks. They have several really good looking entrées for lunch and dinner, though they can be a little bit pricey for some travelers on a budget.
google avatar

Jeremy K.

Yelp
Some of the best food I have ever eaten for sure. A little pricey but you cant beat the quality or quantity.
google avatar

Norry H.

Yelp
Pappasito's must be one of the early pioneers of Tex Mex restaurants. I love their Fajita with Chicken and Beef. It comes with generous amount of guacamole. No sour cream unlike most TexMex places in The East Coast. The tortillas are always fresh and warm. The salsa is fresh and hot as it should be. Among so many eateries at IAH, this is my go-to place for lunch on my tight business trip per diem.
google avatar

Holly J.

Yelp
It's the airport, not many people have time for 15 minute wait for food. They ran out of chicken, told us after 10 minutes, promised us steak in 1 minute and that was a while ago... 3 people headed to flights still waiting. If you're going to make it right, follow through.
google avatar

Lu-Shien T.

Yelp
$11 for a Burrito?!! Okay, fine--the grilled chicken was well charred, the borracho beans were tender. The salsa was picante and deeply earthy. But, the slap of avocado was stiff and insipid because it was green, the meat to filler ratio weak. And it was barely 6 inches long. Seriously, $11?!!
google avatar

Rosanna S.

Yelp
Evidently, I had a bad experience in the past... Thanks to the fine record keeping from Yelp, I was reminded of that. I have given them a few chances since then. Now it's always a pleasure eating here. I think this is my favorite place in the entire airport. I really enjoy popping in during breakfast. The sausage breakfast burrito is made with a link style sausage. It's different from what I usually experience with sausage burritos, but it is pretty delicious. My favorite is the steak breakfast burrito. The steak is so flavorful and tender! It is the best thing on the menu. There are tables to eat at, and I've never really had to fight for space. I like grabbing the tables that are tucked away from the main food court. They are next to a giant window, which makes it feel more peaceful. Don't get discouraged if you see that the food court is mobbed... Most of the people are standing in line for Einstein Bagels. Just keep swimming until you get to the back and the foot traffic thins out.
google avatar

Blain J.

Yelp
Food gets a 5 (as always), Pappacito's generally rocks... here and everywhere, but the airport store has a big problem behind the bar... I returned both Margaritas I got (which I really never do no matter how... ), Bad they are. 1st one, on the Rocks, tasted foul (like the mix was old and turning or something), 2nd one I tried frozen, and it tasted and smelled like disinfectant. No bueno.
google avatar

Stephanie V.

Yelp
I love me some papasitos!! If I have a chance to stop in a location while I'm visiting Texas I go. Today the airport version had to do and didn't disappoint. I always think the food is a smidge over priced but what can you do. I spent $16 on a chicken quesadilla and had to wait about 30min but it was worth it! I'm pretty sure they forgot my order and had to remake it which is why it took 30min but its understandable since they were pretty busy. The salsa was perfect; slow heat and nice smoky flavors to compliment my quesadilla. The quesadilla tortilla was crisp and the cheese and chicken were cooked well.
