A newly opened spot I’d been eager to try, and we finally made it for lunch yesterday—so glad we did!
Since it was a Monday and not too busy, we were seated right away without a reservation. The restaurant’s interior is beautifully designed—cozy, elegant, and enhanced by subtle French music in the background.
Service was excellent, and the food arrived promptly.
For our appetizer to share, we ordered Tuna Tartare—worth trying. Beautifully presented with fresh fish, paired with crispy tortillas that were perfectly salted, balancing well with the unsalted tartare.
For main:
• Moules Frites – can't go wrong with this combo. The mussels were drenched in a rich, buttery white wine sauce, with merguez lamb adding extra depth. The generous portion of sauce was perfect for dipping the complimentary bread. Fries with aioli were tasty, though my boyfriend found the aioli slightly salty.
• Salmon Wellington – My boyfriend’s choice, and it was a standout. The puff pastry added a hint of sweetness that paired beautifully with the nice sauce. The creamed spinach was velvety, and the mushrooms added an earthy touch that complemented the salmon perfectly.
Drinks – The white wine was crisp and chilled, and the spritz was well-made, served with extra ice on the side.
For dessert, only three options were available, but none caught our eye. Besides, we were already full after our meal, so we decided to skip it.
The moules frites is definitely worth recommending—generous portion, flavorful sauce, and a great value with fries included.
We had hoped to try the Roasted Duck Hash (which wasn’t listed on the online menu but appeared in the restaurant’s menu, marked “subject to availability”), but it wasn’t available that day—just another reason to return!
Overall, a wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely be back.
