Pathiri Restaurant

The food was the most authentic Kerala Style food I’ve had till date in London! And I’ve been here searching for authentic South Indian food for more than two years!! The hospitality was so good it felt homelike!! Alfina, who helped with both greeting and serving of food has my heart! She was kind enough to accommodate my food preferences, even when it was not on the menu! Small note: Trust her suggestions! She’s got great taste! Highly recommend Moru Curry and Pepper Chicken Curry!

This place serves delicious, authentic South Indian food, at a very good price. My wife is South Indian and said it's her favourite Indian restaurant in London (even better than Ganapathi in Peckham, or Chettinad in Goodge Street, which are both excellent). We ate dhosa, lemon rice and beetroot thoran and each dish was very tasty, fresh and well prepared. I wish we lived closer because if we did then I think we would eat here very often.

Ordered for pickup and had the food ready in about 30 mins. There is no free parking as its a busy street and had to find a paid parking to collect. Kerala Paratha and Beef pepper roast was made well in kerala style. The chicken boneless biryani, however, appeared to be snot freshly made and not cooked like how I would expect biryani from a kerala restaurant. Overall an average experience.

If you are someone who would like to try South Indian cuisine or a Malayali missing your food, this is your place to be! Serving authentic South Indian food, everything is SO GOOD. My friends and I keep coming back here all the time. The host Alfina is always so good to us! 10/10 recommended Dishes recommended: come here for the Onam sadya meal. Otherwise, try the chicken 65, any beef dishes and the pazhampori, my personal favorites here :)

I have been a regular at Pathiri for the past one year! My friends and I are always welcomed with a warm smile and such patient service. Alfina was kind throughout and served us with so much love. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a touch of home and great food.

During our visit to Greenwich, we visited this restaurant, we opted for Vegetarian food- Veg biryani and chilli paneer, both are super tasty😋 also my fav masala chai 😄

We visited this place on our trip to London! I wanted to try some good Kerala food and this happened to be my closest option in Greenwich(very well located). The food was good, especially the daily meals, appam, Malabar fish curry etc! The starters were delicious too! The ambience is not great, but clean! There are no alcoholic beverages available but you can bring your own booze 😀😀 reminded me of India! If you are craving Kerala cuisine, it’s worth giving it a try! 🫡

During our visit to the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, we came across the Indian cuisine restaurant, Pathiri. It serves delicacies from the southern Indian state of Kerala. We tried Pepper chicken sukka and chicken lollipops in starters. Pepper chicken was real hot and spicy and a must try for spicy lovers. The portion size was too big for a person and can be easily shared between 3. Spicy buttermilk was refreshing on a hot summer day. The okra curry and chicken biryani were good. The cucumber pachadi (cucumber in tempered yogurt) was cooling with the spicy food. All in all, the overall experience was too good to taste authentic keralite food in a place like Greenwich. You also get south Indian snacls such as dosa, idli and vada. Pathiri is recommended for real south Indian taste with a tang.
