Patri Northfields Will Open an Ealing Broadway Restaurant | Eater London

"At the Northfields site, head chef Govind Singh delivers richly textured Mughlai dishes: nawabi seekh kebabs shot through with cumin and chilli, a shahi laal maas whose deep-crimson mathania chilli sauce envelops generous hunks of mutton, and gorgeously puffed, ghee-brushed naan. The menu ranges from chaats and puris — including a fiery Jodhpur ‘girlfriend chaat’ — to a dal makhani that one reviewer felt outshone Dishoom’s celebrated version. Often described under the ‘artisan street food’ banner, the cooking here balances indulgent pleasure with careful technique and is considered one of the best offerings in the Ealing area." - James Hansen

Where to Eat in London This Weekend | Eater London

"A raucous, warmth-driven spot run by co-owner Puneet Wadhwani and operations director Preeti Gupta Wadwanhi where artisan street cooking is treated with thought, skill and care. The space buzzes with conversation amid tin-can cutlery holders and corrugated iron, and the food ranges from Mughlai nawabi seekh kebabs with a hum and bristle of cumin and chilli to shahi laal maas with a deep crimson mathania-chilli sauce and inflated, ghee-rich naan. There are chaats and puris (including an infernal Jodhpur’s girlfriend chaat) and a dal makhani that the reviewer finds superior to Dishoom’s — one of Ealing’s best places for lively, accomplished street-style South Asian food." - James Hansen

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We ordered the Non-Veg Thali and it was absolutely amazing. Every item on the plate was full of authentic flavours and made with so much care and delicacy. You can really feel the effort and passion behind every dish. We also tried the Boyfriend Chaat and it was just incredible, bursting with flavour and perfectly balanced. The ambience was warm and lively, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Patri truly stands out as one of the best Indian restaurants in London. The food, presentation and service were all top-notch. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves genuine Indian food and wants a memorable dining experience.❤️❤️❤️

Had an amazing meal at Patri and just had to share! Big shoutout to Mr. Puneet, the owner, who was super welcoming and made the experience even better. We tried the Indian thali, and everything on the plate was full of flavor. The Lamb Rogan Josh was so tender and rich! The kebabs were spot on, perfectly grilled, and the Malai Tikka was the star so soft and creamy, absolutely delicious👍 Really enjoyed the food and the vibe. Definitely recommend if you’re craving proper Indian flavors done right

Very recently, my partner and I have had the pleasure of visiting Patri at Northfields and the experience has been amazing and worthwhile with such a lovely and friendly staff who took the time to explain the concept behind their authentic thali dishes. Needless to say that each and every item in our non-veg thali option took us for a wild ride down our memory lane with such an authentic Indian dining experience. The thali menu offered good sized portions of pot curries (mutton and chicken options are both equally good in terms of the tenderness and the right amount of cooking) balanced with the right spiciness to give you the kick you need. A special shout out to the owner of this restaurant who took their precious time to explain us the story behind their Patri dishes which made the experience all the more interesting and exciting and tempted us to try the Boyfriend chaat which deserves another separate review. 👌✌️

This restaurant is overrated in my opinion. The only thing that I found worth getting was the Railway Grill as it was good for the price. The drinks were all good, but the food such as the Teen Thali was not worth £15 as it was completely basic. Our server didn't have the best knowledge about their own dishes. It was a bit dull with only music in the background. In our railway mixed grill, our chicken was a tad undercooked and pink and the panneer a bit hard for my liking, I have eaten better Indian food before!

The staff were so lovely and helpful! The menu explains all the dishes, which was really helpful. The server was very informative. We ordered the sharing platter + chicken biryani + two starters and had tons of food. We have tried other Indian restaurants in the area and this one had a lot more beautiful flavours and authenticity. It was so delicious! Highly recommend!

We ordered in bulk for Diwali, and everything was amazing! The Pani Puri and Papdi Chaat were outstanding — fresh and full of flavor. The team even offered complimentary Samosa Chaat and extra Papdi Chaat, which was such a nice touch. They helped with the Pani Puri setup, and the packaging, delivery, and taste were all excellent. This was our second Diwali order, and they’ve never disappointed. Truly made our celebration special and memorable!

The vibes are lovely and the excitement to try the Grand thali was a lot. We visited Patri just for the Grand Thali ( mixed) on my Husband's birthday. The Thali was a lot for two adults and two kids ( 10 & 13). We end up packing it up a lot. The taste of the food was okay. We had better in less expensive places with good quantities of actual food in it. The dishes had more curries in them than the main ingredient. Like the brinjal (eggplant) dish has less brinjal and more curry if that makes sense. So overall the hype is just the presentation of 30 dishes in a huge Thali. We were greeted by a lovely hostess named Honey. She explained to us about all the dishes on arrival and helped with drinks. She was very polite and helpful. We might try something else next time if we visit.
