Patsy’s Pizzeria

This is the place to go when looking for a classic New York pie. Coal-oven pizza sold by the slice, created for pizza pilgrims, that alone is reason enough to take the trek up to the original Patsy’s in Brooklyn/Park Slope. Enjoy incredible pizza fresh from their ancient oven with incredible flavor. Very well-cooked, exceptionally thin-crusted, hearty sauce created using 85 + years of bituminous-coal-oven cookery. If you're looking to experience the NYC pizza scene, this must be added to your list.

This is definitely a must stop place when you're in town. In the heart of Brooklyn, and when you are looking for some good brick oven pizza, this is the place. The food is also fantastic, and the hospitality is awesome. I love coming here and having a great meal with a great staff.

I've been here before. Never a disappointment! The food is always on point. Portions are great! Entrees could feed two people. Their drinks from Cosmopolitans, to shots of Limoncello and custom drinks are beyond words. Their dessert? It's a sin!!! The staff is always friendly and attentive. Their bathroom is ALWAYS clean. On nights of events at The Barclays, expect crowds. I strongly encourage making reservations. That's what I do.

I went around 2-3 pm. Not many people inside. We was able to receive incredible service and excellent quality food. Chicken parm from this location is some of the best I've had. Definitely a must try at minimum. Pizza was great thin crust came out hot, with Smokey crispy crust. Excellent if you like it that way. Lasagna was good as well. Saucy with high quality noodle. I didn't get any drinks I should have. This spot is good for date night, low key...or a great place to have brunch with the family or friends. Lighting was slightly dim, the only thing I didn't love about the atmosphere but every thing else was great, I will be back in due time

My daughter and I wanted to eat at another restaurant, and when we went, they informed us that because of the show at Barclay's Center, we needed to make reservations. That was the best thing that happened because we ended up finding Patsys, which was close to Barclay's Center, too. As we knew, the food was delicious. The service was excellent and quick. We were happy with the outcome of the night.

Found the gem of a garden in the back and it was perfect for a quick delicious bite the other night before we hit the Liberty Game. Def check this place if you’re looking for something delicious by Barclays Center.

Ordered for delivery the pizza arrived in 2 hours!! Ice cold (colder than the temperature outside) overcooked, burned and dry with some cold cheese on it. Do not fall for the name.

The Margherita pizza was delicious. Simple but with good ingredients and perfectly cooked just how pizza was meant to be. My kids enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs ( I snuck a couple bites myself and bery good meatballs as well. I’d also recommend the almond brownie. Service was good as well. All around great experience

Wonderful food and service. Especially from Zhanna in the morning ! She was very nice and helpful with the menu. She was polite all smiles with positive energy. She made our last meal in New York one to remember.

I didn't realize that this place is famous. It just happened to be across from Barclay's when my family went to see Linkin Park. We were able to get a table with about a 5 minute wait for a party of 4. We were conscious of not overordering (like we usually do!) because we didn't want to have to carry leftovers. So we ordered a pizza, the hot and cold antipastos, and dessert. The pizza was otherworldly and absolutely perfect. I could eat it every day forever and be happy every time. The cold antipasto was a little sparse for the cost, but still yummy. The hot antipasto was amazing. It had on it some of the freshest and most delicious calamari that I have ever had. The clams and shrimp were good. I could have eaten a whole platter of the eggplant rollatini. I wish I had. We ordered cannolis and cheesecake for dessert. Best cannoli I have ever had in my life, hands down. The ricotta filling was whipped perfectly smooth with no graininess at all and there were no chocolate chips, but you could clearly taste orange zest or something in there that was just delicious. On the side of the plate were strawberries that had a delectable strawberry sauce over them. I may head back to Brooklyn just to eat my way through their menu. That's high praise since it's a 3.5 hour drive from home!

Ordered delivery. It was alright. The pizza was pretty good. Thin crust consistency was decent and toppings fine. On a cold night was grateful for the arrival. Also got a Caesar salad. Pretty small size but good enough. Not sure I'd rush to get delivery again but I'd give it a try in person.

Got some good food to go! The ordering was easy and the selection had great pics. No guess work for this experience. The service was awesome. I was greeted immediately upon entry and the bar up front was very inviting. Too bad I didn't get a get a chance to stay and enjoy it. We all enjoyed the pizza, salad and meatballs! I loved the vibe of this place! I will be back to sit.

This was my first time visiting this Patsy's location near the Barclays Center. I showed up about an hour before closing, and they warned me about the kitchen shutting down. They sat me anyways when I vowed to be a quick diner. I ordered a pie, half original and half pepperoni. The pie came out quickly. The undercarriage definitely had a char, but the pie was somehow a little floppy. I enjoyed the thin crust, and I preferred the pepperoni to the original half. The pepperoni added a much needed punch of flavor as the original was good, but was just a little mild in the flavor department. This seems like a nice place to chill, grab a pie, and order a drink.

Overall this is a small intimate place across from Berkeley Center. Great customer service was super friendly. Husband thought the pizza had no magic dust no frills especially being across from Barkley center where most stbof the players go to get a slice service was excellent tho good conversation fun spot .

Absolute freaking garbage. Do not waste any of your coins on this 5 minute microwave restaurant. Their food literally made me sick to my stomach. I absolutely love salty food but Jesus christ did their food taste like a salt bomb...too much salt for my taste. I had the spaghetti and rubber meatballs. My coworker had the Mushy Penne Al Vodka. Very expensive for food that is prepared in 8 minutes.

So first the service.. sat at bar with some friends and Lou was attentive as hell. Made a great old fashioned. Ambiance was kind of speakeasy ish but not. Plenty of seats for dining in with family or at the bar. Food, Pizza with Pepperoni and grilled chicken was simply amazing. If you are there no matter who is serving or taking your order, is amazing and the food and drinks are better than that.

We stopped by Patsy's Pizza in Brooklyn mid-day before our JFK flight and had the best experience! We got the best table in the house for watching the soccer game. We enjoyed two cold glasses of wine, a little salad, and when I asked for a half cheese pizza for the kids and their lasagna pizza for me and my husband, the waiter said, "Let me see what I can do to take care of you," and he did. The service was exceptional, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend Patsy's for a fantastic meal any time of day - its well worth the hype!

My grandmother loves Patsy's on the UES, but last night we went to the Brooklyn location so we could have dinner with my dad in his borough. The atmosphere here is very warm and welcoming. The staff are very friendly. I was not a fan of being sat in the back area which was freezing cold last night and not heated whatsoever. The food is very good. If you like garlic, definitely get the pizza! They use a lot of it. Calamari was very crispy and not over cooked. Is it my favorite NY pizzeria? No, but it does the job pretty well.

We ordered one Alla Vodka Pizza and one Margherita Pizza to be delivered. The pies arrived and they were ice cold. It's like the pizza was walked here with the boxes opened. I never in my life had two pizzas delivered that were ice cold. I don't think the delivery guy had a warming bag. The Alla Vodka Pizza was just okay. There was nothing special about it and lacked substance. For 26 dollars, it should have been amazing and it was not. We ordered a Margherita pizza that was not great at all. The basil was dried out from being in the cold. The pizza was not filling and we spent 50 dollars plus all the fees and everything else on pizza. I am very disappointed as is everyone else. Tsk Tsk

Location location location! Patsy's is 1 block from the Barclays Center which is super convenient. We dropped the kids off to watch A Boogie Wit da Hoodie at BC and walked over to Patsys to dine on the most delicious pizza. Ordered a bottle of Le Crème Chardonnay. We ate, drank & were merry. The staff were soo friendly and accommodating. We were able to sit at the bar and enjoy a great meal while waiting for the kids to get out of concert. I love & miss Brooklyn. Good vibes!

Good place to go before a game at the barclays center, although there were a lot of bees and flys inside the pizza was super good! The crust was super thin! The waiter was very nice and the food came out very quick. Quiet and empty even before new york liberty playoff game! Recommend if you're looking for a quick place go sit down and eat. I want to like this place. Everything is kind of right. Good ingredients and a sophisticated menu. Very nice staff. A charming space with good graphic design. Only one thing is not good: the pizza is weirdly baked. It is too soft to eat the pizza with your hands. It makes eating the pizza complicated. Not sure I'd recommend this.

Hittin up the Nets game @ Barclays and we come out around 8:30pm on a Saturday and see Patsy's across the street. No way we get a table, can we? The wife goes in and...incredible..we get a primo table in the rear right in front of the coal fired oven. Sweet... What else do you order but the pizza right? We get a cheese pie, the chicken parm dinner and clams casino. How's the pizza? Hmmm...solid but not the best I've had. Also a bit on the smaller side. The crust could be crunchier but whenever you get a pie hot from the oven it's always a little different than when you get a slice heated up. But let me tell ya...that chicken parm is money...perfectly fried with nice breading and italian seasoning with melted cheese and a nice marinara. Wow... One complaint- seems like this new (at least to us) maneuver to charge extra for paying with credit cards needs to be stated more prominently as we pay with a credit card and get some 2-3% upcharge on top of the included gratuity. That really adds up and we would have just paid cash if we knew. I'm sure there are tons of non-New Yorkers coming to Patsys so making folks aware would be appreciated.

Service was slow, the pizza was limp, the main dish portions are small and the prices are nuts. I guess that you're paying to eat near Barkley Center. Had to ask twice to get bread for the table. I guess the service doesn't have to be any better because they added a 20% gratuity.

I came in wanting to eat and I stood at the sign that read "Please wait to be seated" for almost 10mins while the bartender to my right and every waiter looked at me waiting to be seated. I saw a lot of empty tables and people who were leaving. I was the only one waiting. I was never greeted to be seated. So, I left. That was my experience.

It's nice classic style NY pizza. If you're a pizza historian, Patsy's is an important spot. It's an older place, so it's not quite the same as pizza by the slice that you'll find at other spots around town. More char, more cheese, and less crisp.

4.5 great customer service. Very friendly and good food. Near Barclays. I asked to have the pasta a little spicy and they did it well!

Located on dean by the Barclays Patsy offers a variety of tasty dishes for everyone. Patsy has sidewalk seating and a backyard patio making great for eating during the summer months. We tried the frose it was very refreshing. The Caesar salad was tasty and the pizza was soo good. We could of ate 2 pies in no time. The wings were ok..a lil crisper and it would of been to my liking and the calamari was Standard. The waitstaff was superb..very attentive and friendly.

New Haven style pizzeria. Razor thin crust. So thin that it's parve for Passover (I'm not a rabbi, so don't quote me on that). I'd compare the crust to matzah which is not a good comparison for a pizza crust. In retrospect, I would have opted for an entree or a topping heavy pizza instead of the the margherita pie which emphasized the dough. Service was super quick. There were a couple gender neutral restrooms in the basement.

It's a 3.5. Perfectly cooked. Flavor is lacking for me. Been here a few times now and have gotten cheese and marg.

Patsys is amazing pizza. Ordered 6 pies for the staff at work online at 8 am. Called to confirm order and pizza arrived exactly on time. With all the choices you could go someplace else or you can get the best and go to Parsys.

One of the top 3 pizzas in New york. Cheese pizza and a peroni. A 16" pizza is good for one person fyi.

This spot gets crowded really quickly, especially on game day. Luckily I able to snag the last two bar seats & able to order this delicious pizza! The service was amazing. It was 30 minutes until game time and we managed to get our pizza and drinks so quick we made it for tip off! Highly recommend this business if you're in the mood for pizza and saving money from Barclays food lol

This was our first time in Brooklyn and the first thing we wanted to do was try some Brooklyn pizza. The front desk clerk of the hotel we were staying at recommended Patsy's and it did not disappoint. It was a cold and rainy day and there was still alot of people in there. We were seated rather quickly. The ambiance is really dark and lovely. Great for a date night. They also had outside seating but it was unavailable due to the weather. They don't sell pizza by the slice so we decided on a half sausage and half pepperoni pie. That pizza came out big, hot, and fresh! We all enjoyed it very much. I would definitely recommend Patsy's and what a great way to start off our Brooklyn adventure!

I had the margarita pie $24. It came out less than 15 minutes later. The sauce is semi-sweet and the crust is thin. It taste delicious and the cheese was fresh. The crust could be more toasty. It is very busy and server was apologetic about the service being a bit slow. They automatically add gratuity. They have two Bathrooms downstairs which were clean. The bar is in the front.

Yes!! Oh yes, folks! This place is for you if you want automatic 20% gratuity for dinner for two added to your $100 bill, for the worst pizza, 5 pieces of wings ($12!!), and the saddest beet salad! Wtf??? This place is the absolute worst. Waiter reeked of cigarettes and not attentive. The pizza was small for what it was worth and tasted NOTHING like the reviews raved it to be. Utterly disappointed. And wtf...you get the smallest 5 pieces of wings for $12...like, why 5? Why not 6 small pieces? Don't bother with the salad. Lettuce edges looked sad and old...not sure if it was the salad or what but my insides said fk no many many times the next day. There are better places to get pizza. Someone take Patsy's off the damn list for "must eat pizzas" in NY...because they should be walking the streets in Shame! Shame! Shame!

Cannot recommend Patsy's enough!! Made a reservation in advance for a large group and was seated immediately in the patio. Anthony was our server and he was on point. We ordered a few different pizzas and all of them were quick to be brought out and delicious!!! My favorite was the insalata pie. We also got the "shrooms", wings and calamari, also pretty good. We ended our meal with the Nutella pizza, which is a MUST try, and the brownie and cannoli, which tasted a tiny bit old. Overall, I would highly suggest visiting Patsy's when in Brooklyn- perfect before a game or event at the Barclays center.

Been here several times before. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. In the past we've had their pizza and tonight tried a few dishes off the pasta menu. I did the rigatoni bolognese and my boyfriend did the lasagna. Both dishes were delicious. Service is always fantastic

Great pizza we get the original, it is perfect. Real New York pizza. Baked clams are really tasty as are the salads and our kids love the penne a la vodka. Great food awesome service too.

Giving it 4 stars but it's more of a 3.5 due to the hit and miss factor of the pies. It's overall just too inconsistent to deserve the rep. Mostly it's crust failure that disappoints, a bit too soggy and droopy in the center, yet somehow charred nicely. So some good, some bad. Even when I have asked for well done, the pie can come out sadly droopy. Service is always good. Atmosphere has a bit of the "classic" vibe. I want to like it. It's iconic (depending on how you view the Patsy's Wars!) but I can't say I love it.

There are always people sitting outside this place when I pass by, so I decided to finally give it a try, though by ordering in (hopefully an in-person visit will happen soon). I got a mix of different things and overall, was happy with my order! Specifically: - garlic bread: fresh and very garlicky and olive oily, which gives it a double thumbs up - mozzarella sticks: definitely get this if you are dining in! Even with delivery, it was warm and cheesy. The marinara sauce that accompanied it was great too - cheese pizza: really reminded me of pizza in Italy. The chest is thin and the cheese is not overpowering. All in all, solid choice - ai funghi: three different mushrooms in a pizza which makes it nice and hearty. Something was missing though for me. I think it was the lack of truffle oil or tomato base that made it a bit more plain that other mushroom pizzas I've tried in the city UPDATE: came to eat in person last night and had a great experience! We got a table in the back patio which was nice and spacious. The baked clams were delicious. The fried artichoke hearts were mediocre so would skip that. The Margherita pizza was absolutely delicious!

Patsy's Famous Pizzeria, this isn't the original location but it was still very good. I went in the early evening on a Saturday and it was fairly empty. Walked in with no reservation needed after a long day of apartment hunting. The chicken parm was really good and it came out so quickly after ordering it, I was genuinely shocked. The pizza was thin crust and it has that amazing tomato sauce on it that made it that good. I would love to go to the original restaurant as well.

If this place is good enough for the Punisher it is good enough for me. Honestly though, so happy to find a delicious NY pizzeria so close by. Their anti-pizzas are also really yummy too - baked clams, broccoli rabe (gotta get that fiber!!), and of course hot wings. The gnocchi was also very soft. Definitely recommend!

Ordered delivery tonight. $75 for 2 orders of pasta that didn't even fill the bowls and 1 beet salad that had one beet in it. When eating the salad, I tasted bleach and began to gag. My partner said he had a bite of the lettuce, but I mixed the dressing that was at the bottom of the bowl. I eat at patsys regularly in person. Never had an issue. Will NEVER order delivery again.

Perfect pizza, good coffee, good tiramisu. Not super cozy place but you don't notice it when your eating this pizza

Came here a few years ago and wasn't very impressed mostly because they gave us the wrong order and they didn't really do much about it. Decided to come back for a second chance recently. They were fairly empty for a Friday night, plenty of open tables, they have an enclosed yard in the back and patio seating in front of the restaurant as well. Ordered a margherita pizza with half pepperoni, chicken parm with penne and a dozen baked clams. Our food came altogether really quickly after we ordered. The pizza is super thin crusted, the half with pepperoni was soggier/floppier than the side without. This was a solid pie, thin and crispy for the most part. The chicken parm entree was pretty big, lots of cheese on the chicken cutlet, a good portion of penne comes with it, cooked al dente. The dozen clams were good as well, baked with lots of breadcrumbs. The prices on the menu is the price if you pay cash, they charge a bit more if you pay with card, and they add an automatic gratuity of 16% for parties of 2 or more.

If you're looking for a classic NY pizza emporium, you'll need to look no farther than Patsy's.  Their thin crust, coal-fired pies are completely authentic and totally delicious! We shared a margherita pizza and an order of zucchini strips with marinara.  The latter was fried but not at all greasy, while the former was not only incredible, it was big enough to easily feed three people with a little bit left over. Tip: As a general rule, all the food here is first-class, and the portion sizes are so large that I suggest that people share them.

Beautiful outdoor courtyard! EXCELLENT FRIED CALAMARI!!! Meatballs were delicious and service was outstanding! Came here before drinks and even stopped by again before

My kids love this place! The service is always outstanding, the food is delicious. Always a good vibe. We truly appreciate this place. We live on Long Island and so we go to Patsys when there's a Nets game or when we're in the area. Highly recommended!

My husband and I decided to pay a visit to Patsy's Pizzeria after seeing the raving reviews. We live in the neighborhood and always see people dining here. To be honest, our dine in experience was mediocre. The pizza was room temperature when it was brought to our table and the breading itself was a tad soggy and didn't hold. We were truly disappointed. We decided to give them another try and ordered the sausage and pepperoni pizza for delivery. The pizza this time around wasn't soggy and was able to hold. After heating it up in the oven for 5 mins, it was perfect. I won't say this is my favorite pizza spot in the area, but the flavor is solid and if you don't mind reheating the pizza for a few minutes prior to eating it, then I would recommend ordering from Patsys only for takeout.

Pizza lacked flavor and was slightly undercooked. Lacked salt and was lukewarm warm despite arriving quickly.

The pizza was amazing and it was super close to the Barclays Center. The rest of that pizza didn't make it home to CT

This is my first time trying Patsy's pizza. It was good fresh ingredients. The mozzarella was really fresh. I am glad I finally tried this pizza. I can now check this off of my NYC pizza bucket list.

This place gave me and my friends the exact New York dining experience we were looking for! The bartender was great and our food was even better! Some of the best chicken marsala i've ever had. I will definitely be back next time I visit brooklyn.

Went 2 nights in a row. First night a takeout. Got home very tasty. Next night brought family from Texas who wanted NY style pizza. They were not disappointed. Helpful staff

Great stop to get some food after the Nets game. Good customer service. I would definitely come back again & try something else on the menu.
