"Paymon’s from owner Paymon Raouf originally opened in 1988 with a deli featuring Middle Eastern food and beverages under the name Middle Eastern Bazaar, and in 2020, changed its name to Paymon’s Fresh Kitchen & Lounge to reflect the fresh ingredients used in its dishes. The restaurant originally launched 33 years ago with just a dozen items on the menu in a 900-square-foot space, and now sports four pages of dishes hailing from Italy, Greece, the Middle East, and Persia at its two locations on Eastern Avenue just north of the 215 Beltway and Sahara Avenue near Durango Drive. Finally, a Mediterranean restaurant that knows what a proper baklava looks and tastes like. And, the cappuccino...delicious!. And the stuffed grape leaves...yum! I was there around lunch time, so the lounge area was super quiet. Its a separate area from the restaurant behind glass doors- I presume to keep the hookah fun well...separate. The lounge is gorgeous and the dance electronic music playing was just right. My stay up all night and seeing the sunrise days are a few yrs behind me but I hope this is a popular night spot...if its not, it should be.

I do highly you give this place a try. Whether or not you are into hookah! We solely went for the food and I couldn't be happier ☺️ Lentil Soup 10000/10 Combination appetizer platter 10/10 - both hummus were our favorites , but we also enjoyed the falafel, athen fries and stuffed grape leaves 🍃 (favorite sauce was the fry sauce!!) Trio Skewer Entree 9/10 I mean look at that portion ! But more importantly all the meats were tasty 😋 Moussaka 8/10 my partner enjoyed Baklava 9/10 so gooood ! Not sure what the coffee was but it's an acquired taste lol Also tried the lychee martini and iced tea, enjoyed both Service was awesome, Pepe was great and very attentive! Atmosphere was calm and chill when we were there.

Absolutely the best hookah shop. Service was up to the moon. The owner came himself with the sheesha head, introduced himself to us and told us a story of this shop and how this was the first ever Hookah place in America. Talking about art and I love it. So many beautiful paintings on the walls just take you back to the past of that beautiful Arab era. Some paintings from Prophet Hazrat Musa A.S era and so many great things to see. Waiter partners are legends, they just keep coming back around you to make sure you don’t need anything. I am in love and coming back when I am next in Vegas. Thanks, Paymon, It was so great to be at your place. Keep up the good work guys.

Absolutely love this place. My girl friend and I were looking for a great place to get hookah. We randomly found this place and now we go here as often as possible. The environment is so beautiful, great ambience, never had been to such a beautiful hookah lounge here in Vegas before. The staff is friendly & great. The food is delicious. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. We are long term customers now, we choose this place over any coffee shop any day. We now go here for our work dates. It's also locally owned, we just met the owner the last time we went, he was polite and friendly and ensured the service was quality and that we had a great time. Feels great supporting such an amazing local business. We haven't gone in the evenings yet but have heard great things about the evening vibe here.

Update 2/16/2024 Saganaki flaming goat cheese was amazing! Something new from here. They brought me cucumbers I can't have the pita bread I am allergic. Super cool presentation. Total remodel about a year or so ago!!!! So beautiful. I have gone to Paymons for many years. The best lamb, humus, grape leaves, and Greek fries. Pair it with a titos martini.

I love this place. Some of the best Mediterranean food I have had. We always start with the hummus and pita. So creamy and delicious. My husband had the Spanikopita. Very good and flaky. I had Fallafel pita and garlic fries. The fry sauce is so good. I even dip my Fallafel in it. The atmosphere is very warm and chill. Perfect place for food and good company. Service has always been good. A must try place!

This establishment is a remarkable traditional hookah lounge. I truly appreciate the classic charm, artistic elements, and the rich cultural heritage that exude from the Middle Eastern tradition. The level of service provided is truly exceptional, and the culinary offerings are truly outstanding, with a diverse menu that includes delectable options such as calamari and Babaganush. Additionally, the lounge boasts an extensive selection of fine wines and expertly crafted cocktails, although I personally do not partake in alcoholic beverages, the cocktails are so enticing that they almost tempted me. I highly recommend this venue for large gatherings and first dates alike. While it does have televisions available for those interested in watching a game, it should not be mistaken for a sports bar. In fact, the ambiance can be quite enchanting and romantic.

I had a terrible experience at a bar and hookah lounge. The place was empty, and the staff kept moving us to different tables throughout the evening. They made us move from a comfortable couch to uncomfortable chairs, even though the place was practically empty. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.
