My family and a close friend went here yesterday and were very disappointed. We wanted to try the vegan chef challenge portabello and lionsmane tacos, and felt completely ripped off after they got to the table. Both tacos had one tiny piece of each mushroom, they lacked in flavor, and they cost $13. Please consider either lowering the price or filling the tacos with more mushrooms (preferably) and not just oily onions and peppers. Also, we tried the hummus while we waited, and that lacked in flavor as well. We were disappointed a plant based patty was offered, but zero vegan bread options. We will not be getting food from here again unless some of these issues are addressed. I hope they are because we love to support local businesses!

Beer was enjoyable - tried a couple farmhouse ales, one a saison and one a brett. Funkiness was beautifully pronounced on the brett, The First Release Part I. Tried the pretzels, which were fine. The problem was the pub cheese. It was so liquid it was almost water, so there was no real way to coat the dipped dough. And, the bartender never came to check on me once, so it wasn't until the meal was over and the plate was cleared that a chance was given for feedback. At least they had sticker merch!

An excellent place to have a drink and a bite to eat. We didn't have food this time but I definitely will. I had a mountain lager and mom had a glass of sangria. The beer was excellent and the selections are numerous. Really good beer and something for everyone. The atmosphere is really cool. It has a patio and a inside area. They have beer to go and lots of souvenirs. I will say it's a bit expensive and the food was expensive as well. I'll still be going back though and would recommend a visit. It's a really nice neighborhood hang out.

We went for dinner and was not impressed at all. Parking is terrible…the spaces are too narrow. Drinks are expensive but decided to order one anyway. Big mistake, I was shocked when they brought it….it was half the size of an average drink glass. It was a little more than a shot glass. My daughter ordered the sweet tea brined chicken. OMG it was burnt! The meat was like jerky! We sent it back and the replacement was not any better. My $17 smash burger was so not worth it. Freddy’s is so much better. Spent almost $100 for 3 people. We will never be back!

So being from Townsend we frequent the peaceful in town. We personally like the pizza, smoked wings and the truffle fries are excellent. Overall food quality is good and consistent. Prices are somewhat high but so is everything these days. With 3 of us we usually have a bit of leftovers too. Today we decided to try the location in Maryville. Different menu but something new. Some specialty burgers and sandwich. We had 3 burgers with fries and 2 sodas. An $80 bill with a reasonable tip was pretty shocking. Burgers and fries? Really. And very underwhelming burgers. 3 different burgers and not one was anything special. Culver’s is a better burger. So disappointed and will never go to that location again. I hate complaining but this one would honestly be an F+

We had my son's graduation luncheon at Peaceful Side Brewery and it was fantastic! Betty-Lee was an amazing manager—super responsive and made sure everything went smoothly. The food was delicious, the ice cream incredible, and the beer flight was a fun way to find a favorite. Matt and the entire staff were kind, helpful, and made us feel so welcome. Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend! Thank you, Betty-Lee, for the outstanding service and care—you made our special day even better!

I would normally have given these folks 5 stars, but I was seriously disappointed with our to-go food order this evening. After hanging at the brewery having some great beers and apps, we ordered 4 dinners to take home — only to find the portions for a full meal price to be smaller than an appetizer. Come on guys, you can do better — like having different size to go containers. The quality is spot on, but there is no reason for the portions you served commanding the price charged.

We had great food and drinks at THE peaceful Side Brewery. Not a fan of Blackberry Farms beer so this is great for us. We normally frequent the Peaceful side in Townsend a couple times a month. Nice for us they are much closer now. I had chili and my other half had wings. The chili had a deep smoked flavor, I couldn't even finish it all. Very delicious. Hubs enjoyed the big phat wings.

Yelp
FINALLY a real smash burger!!! Been searching all over this town for a dang good burger thats actually smashed. This was it. Fantastic flavor with crispy edges (like a real smash burger should). Loved the live music, really set the vibe of the place. A packed house yet the service was still quick and easy. Bartenders were super friendly and the manager was a breath of fresh air. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
Great local brewery! It truly is peaceful and a wonderful place to hang out. I loved that the ordering system is all through a QR code, so you're able to input everything you want with your meal, customize it, and then pay all from your phone. I ordered the Wit & Orange beer and Smoked Onion Jam Smash Burger. The burger was incredible! Extremely juicy and flavorful, with excellent onion jam mayo and gooey white cheddar. The fries were delicious too with a crispy outside and served with a homemade ranch that had a dill aftertaste. Wit & Orange was good tasted like a slightly happy person of Blue Moon. Along with the great food and beer, they had board games to borrow and enjoy hanging out. Great experience!

Yelp
This is a really cool spot that is both kids and dog friendly. They have really good food as well. I highly recommend the pizzas! I thought the beers were delicious. They have a large outdoor area that's covered and has turf. Kids are running around. The inside has bench seats and regular tables. When you walk in, you order at the counter and the staff will bring you your food. The person taking the orders was kind of slow so there was a long line. However, the staff bringing the food and abusing tables was very kind. As a plus, they have a creamery connected! Solid ice cream.

Yelp
Great vibes! Good beer. Good food. I wish the menu wasn't so limited. If you don't want a burger, chicken sandwich, or salad there's not much for you. Only complaint tho! Overall great place. Been here twice in a week and will be back a lot more.

Yelp
So, this establishment is every bit as good as the one that used to occupy this space, but cheaper! It's decorated nearly the same, industrial style with wooden barrels. The service was outstanding. Our server offered personal service over using the QR code on the table. She let my wife try several beers. The selection is varied. I had the Pilsner, which I liked very much. I also ordered the onion jam smash burger in a single patty. (The on-line menu did not allow this option). It was excellent with plenty of flavor. It was a nice, quiet and relaxing dinner on a Sunday evening. Two meals and two beers was $25!

Yelp
Nice little place has good atmosphere. The food was pretty good just what Maryville needed The ordering is done on your phone through a QR code That includes drinks, you have to give your credit card no way around it. You are expected to tip before you receive your meal. The expectation is you are to tip the food runner like a full service restaurant. Pay your people a decent wage. Do better!

The servers here were very helpful and nice we love the atmosphere and aesthetic. The food was unique and extremely fresh. We absolutely love the beers and will be back! Great spot.

Yelp
Located in the former blackberry farms location. They have a decent menu for a small brewery and everything we ordered was really good. Pretzel with beer cheese, grain bowl, and burger were all excellent. Their beers were also really good. It is my understanding that they are still brewing some of blackberry farms beer recipes for now. We were there on a Sunday evening and it was pretty quiet. Kid-friendly.

Yelp
What a great little place to eat and have a few cold ones. Went on a Friday and had the best wings in town.... and the Mountain Lager was fantastic....very nice staff and a totally different vibe than any place in town. I would recommend and will definitely be back!!

Yelp
I'm shocked this place has no reviews yet! I went for a friend's birthday recently. The food was genuinely amazing! My husband and I shared the pretzels and cheese dip and it was the best we had ever had. A nice place to relax with friends and enjoy a good bite to eat.

Yelp
Visited first time Friday. Had been to sister restaurant in Townsend. Townsend restaurant states beer is a pint. Maryville does not state and when it arrived at table, glasses are 12 ounce, maybe. $6, $7 for 12 ounces is big price.

Yelp
They have a really great stout that they had in bottles this past summer. I wish it was available at liquor stores in Indiana or Kentucky. They have really great pizzas and are easy to work with for large groups (we had over 20). I hope to be back soon.

Yelp
We love peaceful side brewery! Their wings and smash burger are so good! Great beer and great vibes here! The staff is all super nice and helpful!

Yelp
We went here (Maryville location, not Townsend) because they had outdoor dining for our dog. But there were these flying nats everywhere. We changed tables, to a different location, they kept flying into our drinks, so then we went inside, and the bugs were inside too, it made the experience very annoying. The food was okay but couldn't enjoy because I kept swatting the bugs away worried they would now get in our food. And the place looked like they hadn't cleaned the floor ever, or shook out a rug. Sorry, I won't be returning to the Maryville Peaceful Side Brewery, Townsend location was much better.
