Cozy, light-filled venue featuring a simple, seasonally inspired menu.
"Any cocktail on the menu can be modified at this refined Clarksville New American restaurant, which replaces alcohol with Slow Luck’s non-alcoholic spirit, but it also boasts a menu of specialty mocktails. Try the espresso martini, made with Pathfinder Hemp and Root, Proud Marry espresso, and cherry syrup. There are indoor and outdoor dine-in services." - Lane Gillespie
"Inspired by the California coastal community of Sea Ranch and San Francisco's Zuni Cafe, the food at Pecan Square is casual and seasonally driven (there’s even a whole roasted chicken on the menu). Where the restaurant really shines are the outstanding rustic handmade pastas like the tender and exquisite goat milk ricotta raviolis and the tagliatelle with a bright, spring-y pesto and a spicy chili crunch. " - raphael brion, nicolai mccrary
"Hosting a dinner by chef Luis Arellano of Criollo to celebrate the opening of La Embajada. Four-course meal with dishes like mole amarillo and chocolate tamal." - Nadia Chaudhury
"You should check out Pecan Square for the airy and light-filled space alone. Stylistically, it's casual and sophisticated at the same time (just like its zillions of sibling restaurants: Sammie’s, Perla’s, Swedish Hill, Clark’s Oyster Bar, etc.), with white tablecloths, very nice glassware, and warm mid-century lighting. But mainly we're here for the food that applies the “MCM-California-Central-Coast-seasonal-fancy-but-rustic dining” aesthetic to central Texas, with handmade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and a super simple salad of local lettuces that's better than any salad you could make at home, unless you know the secret handshake with the farmer that supplies their greens." - nicolai mccrary, raphael brion
"This newer Clarksville restaurant has a cozy fireplace in the dining room and on the patio to go with its almost-$80 chicken." - Darcie Duttweiler
