My partner and I ate here last night, out of hunger and indecisiveness, we stopped to get some pasta.
This, I believe, is the second review I've ever left, and I hate to do so. But, it was one of if not the worst dining experience I've ever had.
We got a table instantly, they were maybe at half capacity. There were 2 servers/hosts that seemed to work as a team. They were extremely kind, but very unattentive to the point of having to raise your hand to be seen or acknowledged.
We ordered quick and simple. Wine took maybe 15 minutes to get to our table. We got there during what was their "happy hour", and paid $10 for half pours of wine. If the wine was curated and amazingly good, that'd be fine. But it wasn't. Could've grabbed the same quality bottle at Publix for the cost.
We had to ask for sauce that was on the menu as coming with the bread course we ordered. Maybe 20 minutes later, we received one order of pasta. It was as bland as could be, had what tasted like 0 salt, and their house pasta was almost mushy. The chicken that came was it seemed to of been boiled and cubed, which is fine for a small college town vibed place, but this has Nashville prices, so you expect a little more for a $90 dinner of 2 plates of pasta.
15~ minutes go by, we watch 4 or 5 tables that arrived well after us, receive their food. I notice a server is walking around with a single plate of noodles. It gets dropped at a table for a few minutes then she is told it's not theirs. The same plate gets carried around, dropped at another table. Sent back and put back in their heated pass. Then one of the servers comes over and asks if it's what I ordered.
It was, so my plate had been dropped at 2 other tables, sat there, sent back by other confused guests, then returned to their kitchen, then walked over to me. I asked our server if that was the same plate that had been passed around the dining room, and he said it was. I asked for a new plate to be cooked.
After a minute, and what was around 20-25 minutes after my other half had her food, I asked if we could just cancel the refired plate. We decided to head out and eat at home. We tipped well, as I'm industry and always will, but the experience was awful. We spent just under $100, for 4 drinks and a literal 4 or 5 bites of food. I could've spent $70 on wine and grabbed a mediocre pizza instead of spending about an hour being hungry and irritated in this dining room.
