"PennePazze is tucked into L & L Market in Sylvan Heights, so it’s relatively easy to miss. But it’s worth playing a bit of Marco Polo to find it. That’s because the handmade pastas coming out of the open kitchen are extremely on-point—they’re handmade daily (along with the sauces) by chefs from Italy. Start with the peppery arugula salad, then, round things out with the carbonara pazza or one of the pinsas, a cloud-like Roman flatbread pizza, topped with things like pancetta, salami, and onion jam. All of the ordering and payment is done via QR code, which is convenient when you need a quick lunch or casual dinner." - jackie gutierrez jones 2
