Delicious food and drinks! Salad was yummy, the roasted half chicken and mashed potatoes was chefs kiss! Great portions and everything was flavorful! My friend and I had a great time and we hope to be back soon.

The food was outstanding! I cannot emphasize enough how delicious it was. Every single plate surpassed my expectations. I will absolutely recommend this place to everyone. The location and service were impeccable, and the venue is stunning. The atmosphere is fantastic!

Casually walked by this restaurant in Little Italy and decided to give it a try! My husband and I ordered something simple—risotto and lasagna and they both taste amazing! My risotto is a vegetarian dish but the flavor is so rich and creamy. I love the truffle flavor so much! The lasagna is also very good with beautiful presentation!

The Lemon Pasta and 4 Cheese Pizza have an incredible authentic Napolitano taste; it's my preferred Italian eatery.

Great stop with a few outdoor seats. Our server was great, we ordered tomato toast and special potatoes which we both great! Then for our mains we got a Pizza and spicy sausage pasta and a side of Brussels sprouts. The pizza was fresh and cooked perfectly. The pasta was amazing, perfect mix of spicy and nice to have broccolini in it. The Brussel sprouts were next level and one of the best things we ate in New York. Would come back here again, great for lunch on a sunny day!

We needed a place that can seat 9 people with 2 hours notice. Luckily this had an opening. We ordered several appetizers to share (eg calamari, burrata etc). We also had our main (pizzas, pasta). Great experience.

Stopped in for dinner last night & thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Had the octopus appetizer that was grilled to perfection. For dinner I had the sausage orecchiette that was superb. My husband had the risotto which was delicious. Their Old Fashioned was top notch. 100% recommend Pep’s!

We had the calamari and lasagna! The noodles are made from scratch in house and it was spectacular! On our 3 day trip to NYC, this was my favorite meal.

It's a no for me. I honestly have no idea how this place has so many positive reviews. Maybe we came on a bad night? The service was horrible!! The waitress took our orders, brought the food. Never asked if we need anything, hows the food?, etc. It would have been nice to have been offered some parm cheese with our pasta. Or a refill on drinks. Those things. Plus, the staff were eating right in plain view. I understand chefs taste their own food, but the pizza person was literally eating as she was making the pizzas. Isn't that a health code violation? The food really wasn't that great and the prices were just not right for the quality provided. For any Yelpers who truly appreciate the importance of a red flag review, this is it. Avoid this place at all costs. I don't see how it can remain standing with so many other awesome Italian restaurants in the area.

I've come here multiple times because they have an excellent happy hour, even on the weekends. $6 beers, a little more expensive wines, and up to $10-12 spritzes It is a fantastic place to hang around and catch up with friends over drinks. Food smelled great as well and I'll be sure to get food next time!

Service was good, sat ourselves and the bartender took our order. It's a bar with a few tables, so don't expect a large restaurant with tons of tables. The pasta was very good!! The fettuccini was not a thick, creamy fettuccine but a lighter, buttery sauce perfectly flavored. Portions were big enough, unless you're a really big eater but we were satisfied. They don't bring any bread, which is a little surprising for an Italian restaurant, especially as we walked through little Italy seeing other restaurants with the bread and oil on the table but not here. It was ok, we saved ourselves some carbs. Service was different, different people wait on you, whoever is available and they don't rush you out. Very authentic, a little too authentic to me when I see veal on the menu but some traditions never change. For me that's a hard no. Overall, and from hearing restaurants in Little Italy are a slew of mediocre food, here the food did not disappoint!

Pep's on Grand is located in Little Italy and features, you guessed it, Italian food. Happy hour is 4-7, and we enjoyed the discounted cocktails. Have I had a better Aperol Spritz? Definitely, but this one was decent. We tried a few items-I enjoyed the Pizza (Margarita + mushrooms and burrata) and the Gnocchi (very rich with a yummy truffle Gorgonzola sauce). The Pacheri needed a bit more sauce and salt and left a bit to be desired and was a bit cold? The truffle fries were nothing special, and the Brussels sprouts were nice-I'd give them a 5/10 on my Brussels sprouts score scale (if you know, you know). Our food came out very quickly which was a surprise but we can't complain.

Stopped in, service was wonderful, most important, pizza was great! Will definitely return

Stopped by for an old fashioned and spicy whisky sour which were very tasty. The bartender was great, friendly and makes good drinks. Dope spot in Chinatown so the ambiance is dope for sure!

We had a family dinner here, and it was a blast! The food was delicious, we pretty much ordered everything, highlights include the pasta limone and the pacherri, we also loved the burrata pizza. They also have great cocktails and tasty desserts. They never rushed us, and the owner even came to our table to make sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

I was upset that Margharita's closed a few years ago. I just recently learned that the same owner reopened Pep's on Grand at this same location! But now bigger and better! I was just in Italy 2 months ago and I miss the food. Pep's did not disappoint. The food reminded me of the food in Italy. Here's what we had tonight: Plum Buratta: a mozzarella ball with a creamy middle. The tartness of the sliced plum compliments the creamy cheese. Brussel sprouts: crispy, slightly charred Brussels sprouts with a sweet balsamic vinegar dressing. Hubby wanted to lick the bowl. Tagliatelle with bolognese sauce and stracciatella cheese. The pasta was so delicious and thin and light--just like how nonna makes it in Italy. The meat sauce was not too salty (Americans tend to make everything so salty.) We slathered the pasta to pick up the rest of the meat sauce. I forbade hubby from licking the plate and embarrassing us. Diavolo pizza with hot honey: OMG! This is a must have! The dough is fluffy. The meat is thinly sliced and a little spicy. The hot honey (not temperature hot but spicy hot) gives the pizza a little sweetness and a little kick. We usually don't eat spicy but this was too good not to eat. I'm usually a weakling when it comes to spice but I devoured half that pie. Hubby's whole face was sweating. I guess he's weaker than me. Tiramisu: How could anyone not end dinner without dessert? The tiramisu here is one of the best we've had. It's a must have dessert! Latte: good coffee with latte art. Made with love . I learned while I was in Italy that you can only order a cappuccino for breakfast. It is "illegal" to order a cappuccino in the afternoon or for dinner. But it's ok to order a latte or espresso. Blood Orange soda: soda in Italy do not use food coloring and has less sugar. Delicious! It can be pretty loud in the restaurant. The later it got, the busier the it got. Will definitely come back again for more food. This is the second time we had food from Pep's in 3 days. First time, we ordered take out for the office. Tonight, we dined in. If you could, definitely dine in. The food tastes much better when it's comes out hot from the oven.

Love little Italy and came here while walking through. Service was wonderful, they sat me right down, and were very attentive. The ambiance was beautiful, and the Margherita Pizza was amazing. I hadn't had pizza from there in years and it was so worth it!

The menu is small, and the preparations are simple. While the menu doesn't present any surprises, it's a step up from the substandard Italian-American fare too many places pilfer to an unsuspecting public. Pep's claims to make all pasta in-house. We didn't order a pizza, but those I saw coming out of the wood oven looked very good to my keen Neapolitan pizza-loving eye. My rigitoni with eggplant and thin slabs of fresh mozz was good. The pasta was cooked *perfectly* with a delightful chew. The eggplant was flavorful and creamy and there was lots of it. My wife's salmon was properly cooked, and my fussy daughter's chicken Milanese was a generous portion, that was tender and crispy. Their dishes were good but unremarkable. The service was not overly attentive, or very polished but it was friendly and more than acceptable.

Wonderful Italian place on the edge of Little Italy. Very nice size establishment. Legitimate pizza oven from Napoli very friendly server and bartender and delicious pizzas. My companions and I ordered the prosciutto and arugula pizza, the meat, lovers, pizza, and the Diavola Pizza. All three of the pizzas were well balanced between the tomato sauce, cheese, and meat. The meat lovers had a nice blend of Italian sausage and pepperoni. The arugula was a nice balance to the sweetness of the prosciutto. We would definitely recommend this place for lunch and or dinner.

So damn good!! We were hopped in for happy hour, and stayed for the most delicious pizza. We ordered one, but loved it so much, we ordered another pizza, and also added a Caesar and Brussels sprouts. Insanely good. The owner, Guisepe, or "Pep" was so fun. We sat at the bar, and he spoiled us with fun stories and the history of the restaurant. What a guy! Loved our experience here. Wishing we lived here. We would be regulars!

The spicy sausage pasta was terrible! Thank goodness we asked for truffle oil to give it a bit of flavor! The service was lacking! The waiter brought us the wrong pasta at first so we had to eat the pizza before our terrible pasta came instead of bringing both meals together!

Pizza was great. Gnocchi was over cooked. Charged us for refills on kids soda. Nice restaurant over all.

It was Sunday afternoon and my mom and I desperately needed some food. It was coming on 1:30pm and a lot of places in Chinatown were packed - and as a rule, we do not eat in Little Italy. I was planning on going to Nyonya next door, but my mom mentioned they changed ownership and her friends have told her the food quality went down. I decided to try Pep's on Grand, since I think it's kind of new? There were a few tables occupied, but it wasn't completely full. We decided to split the Ricotta Toast, Caesar Salad, and Paccheri with pink sauce. The two appetizers came out quickly and then our pasta took a pretty long time to come. We almost thought they had forgotten about it. It was worth the wait though because it was delicious! I love pink sauce so this really hit that craving. Service was fairly attentive and we felt well taken care of. The only minor blip was how long it took for the pasta to come out. Prices are decent for the area.

Amazing service, I enjoyed dinner at Pep,s...very tasty with quality ingredients. I like it when the Yelp reviews are true to the business. We decided to eat there based on the positive Yelp reviews and now I am definitely going back!

Full disclosure, I don't live in New York but when I visit I have my favorite pizza places and I wrongfully assumed that I was going to be eating mediocre pizza. Pep's on Grand was chosen due to its proximity to the Saint Gernaro Ferrara cannoli eating contest. This pizza was legit some of the most amazing pizza I've eaten. I knew it was going to be good when I saw the charred bubble on another guests pizza. However, nothing could prepare me for the flavors that we had. Bright tomatoes, tangy cheese, fresh basil- this pizza rocked my world. It has quickly run up the "Best pizzas I've eaten" list and will remain a favorite. Next time I'm back in NY, I'm coming back!

Such a great little spot! Some of the best calamari I've had in years, and the meatballs were packed with flavor. The pasta as my entree was good, but the appetizers is where it's at! Also - treat yourself to a glass or two of the Montepulciano. So fantastic!

Hidden Gem!! Decor works. Open and spacious. Service is very attentive and the pizza was perfection. Just look at the pic! I'm not saying you need to try this place but I would if I was you. I put in 8k steps to get here. Worth the walk!

Best Italian food in little Italy! Wait staff is very kind and diligent. Atmosphere is welcoming. Food is great. We had the whipped ricotta app and the handmade pacherri - both exceeded expectations. Pizza is good too!

Came on a whim and had such a nice dinner. It's a small restaurant but none of the tables felt too close together. Food: Arancini was really nice, I liked that it wasn't overly cheesy and the Parmesan sauce was unique Calamari: I loved that they added shrimp and zucchini. It was a nice switch from all calamari and it wasn't overly fried. And everything was fresh and tender Chicken parm: probably my least favorite of the night. It was good but I personally didn't love that it was on a sweet brioche bun. It was unique in that sense but I'd prefer good Italian bread instead. And the fries were just ok. Pasta: pasta was cooked perfectly Al dente and sauce was really yummy. A nice classic dish! Everyone was super friendly I'd definitely come back here for the price and good food.

Great pizza, salad, pasta, atmosphere. I definitely recommend checking this place out. It was recently rebranded but from what I hear same great taste. It was a new taste to me but one I won't forget about. Trust me grab a pie or two!

We came here during our NY vacation. The staff seated us quickly and were very attentive and engaging. There was a big party dining at the same time but they never missed a beat. The food was amazing. The beet salad had so much flavor and the meatballs were good as well. Margherita pizza is my favorite so I enjoyed every bite. I will definitely go back next time I'm in town.

Fantastic spot for brunch with coworkers. Food Music Vibe Staff Originally Margarita, they closed down and fully renovated inside and purchased next door, increasing their size. Definitely come in here if you're hungry. You won't be disappointed. My favorites: Caesar Salad Gnocchi Tonno & Cipolla Pizza Prosciutto Cotton & Funghi Pizza

Pep's on Grand is the new spot in the line between Chinatown and little Italy. We came out for lunch with a few friends to try this place out. So the place has a great vibe, not too big but not to small as well. Good music playing the entire time, I could imagine what this place is at night. I will be sure to come back at night to check the vibe. Food was on point, nothing disappointed. The black spaghetti with the squid ink was so good I wanted to get a second serving but I stopped myself. My friends had the other dishes you see in the pictures and all reviews were good. If you are in the areaake sure you check them out, this is a neighborhood spot not a tourist location from the people I saw coming in to eat. The owner ses very cool going around speaking to everyone. Come check them out.....

Get the Paccheri! This place has a chill vibe with great decorations and the service was top notch! Don't pass on this place.

Nice and spacious restaurant on Grand St by Little Italy. Very clean. The pizza are individual size, in 4 slices.

If you are walking around Little Italy, and see Pep's. Stop in. You will be greeted by a lovely staff (shoutout Luke), nice ambiance, cozy lighting, and just an overall enjoyable spot. The cocktail selection has something for everyone, I can vouch for their Espresso Martini. And the pasta...the gnocchi? Delicious. It's not too heavy like other gnocchis you might find in the city, but it also doesn't leave you hungry at all. Pep's is a very very good restaurant in Little Italy and again, the staff, so kind and caring, they treat you like family, and answer any questions and are there for you for everything. 5 stars and I didn't have to think twice.

We had a wonderful dinner and time here while on a family vacation. My husband always makes our meal reservations and does a wonderful job researching to make sure we have the best environment and food. We had dinner as a family of 4 and loved everything we had; chicken Milanese and spaghetti with tomato basil for our daughters and Bacatini and Pizza Diavola for us. We also had chocolate Lava Cake and Nutella pizza with fruit as dessert and we finished every bit of it. The margarita and old fashioned cocktails were so good, one of the best margaritas I've ever had. The service was great and we highly recommend and hope to return one day.

We called to see if they had any space for us and they said yes, but outside (since we didn't make reservations) but from the first phone call till we got the bill, every single person we encountered working there was so amazing! It was this genuine happiness and amazing people, so much good energy. The food was also super delicious! I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was a really chill vibe. Highly highly recommend!

Took a break from my Saturday stroll and stopped in to get a quick bite. Staff was friendly and seated us quickly. It wasn't busy at all and service was quick. My husband and shared the Margherita pizza. The pizza bottom was flaky and delish but the crust was too overcooked for me. The flavors were mild and overall decent afternoon snack. Pilar our server was fabulous.

EXCEPTIONAL pizza! came in for a quick drink but stayed for a margarita pizza because it looked great! so tasty. cooked perfectly. beautiful crust. there's a lot of pizza to choose from around here, but i found my new favorite spot. the hostess Jordan was very friendly and accommodating. very nice wine selection as well. 10/10

Some of the best pizza in the city. Authentic Italian in a way you rarely see in the States. We ordered the Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe (spaghetti with white sauce). So rich. Along with an amazing Pizza Burrata. While there, we witnessed a guy from Croatia order an espresso. He said he heard it was good here but doubted it could live up to his European expectations. By the end of it he ordered 2. I think they deliver but recommend dining in for the full experience. I basically send everyone here now

First time visiting Pep's and I will 10000% be back! First off straight to the point the food- WOW. My party had three different pizzas, the burrata, Margherita, and one other I forgot but was still delicious. My wife got the bucatini cacio and Pepe and it was phenomenal, as was the chicken Milanese. Drinks were also excellent, I'm suuuper picky about how espresso is made and Pep's knocked it out of the park! DELICIOUS! Oh just remembered the other pizza we got it was the 4 cheese hot honey pie... SOOOO GOOD!! For real though this spot is a Little Italy gem!!

Went on a pizza hunt to find the best place and we accidentally ended up here and it is amazing. The margarita pizza is so flavorful and soft. definitely would recommend !

If you enjoy good service, drinks and food then you will Love Pep's on Grand. Recommendations for food & drinks had me licking my fingers and lips. Oscar's great personality and service made my dinner more enjoyable. Bartenders are spot on to making their drinks. The chefs food will have you coming back the same day for seconds. By far my favorite place out of all Manhattan as a visitor from Cali!!! Never had such a great service with the perfect combination of food and drinks. The best Espresso Martini I have ever had. Thanks to Jordan for a great host!

Stumbled across this little gem and it was the highlight of my NY trip! I knew we were off to a great start with the appetizers. The meatballs and calamari were delicious. I had the Paccheri and I was blown away! My daughter had the Diavola pizza and said it was the best pizza she ever had. For cocktails, I had the spicy whiskey sour and the old fashioned, both of them were great! Overall vibe and ambiance was mellow and groovy. Looking forward to my next trip back!

What an amazing dinner. From cocktails and wine, to pizza, pasta and steak. The service was incredible. The desserts to die for. Having our business dinner here, was the best decision we ever made.

One of the best pasta dishes I've had in years! Rigatoni was outstanding, staff was friendly and very welcoming.
