We enjoyed a nice evening at this rather small restaurant with a bar. A large outdoor seating area was closed and is probably open during the cooler winter season. Our server was friendly and attentive. The dishes we ordered all tasted good. The passion fruit sorbets were on the house bc we were celebrating a birthday.

Perl is a solid spot, but nothing too wild. The food was good, but not the kind that blows your mind. The customer service, though, was great—friendly with a fun, silly vibe that made the experience enjoyable. The sleek, modern interior gives the place a nice touch. I went for Miami Spice, and it was definitely worth it with decent portion sizes and a good price point. Overall, it’s a nice place to check out, but don’t expect anything too extraordinary!

Perl Restaurant provided the perfect setting for our elegant anniversary dinner last September 2024. The artistic cuisine was exquisite, making every bite a true pleasure. A memorable experience we highly recommend!

We were in the neighborhood and made reservations for lunch. Had a wonderful experience, sitting outside. Chelsea was so pleasant and accommodating. The Caesar salad with grilled chicken was absolutely delicious, my husband loved the fish tacos with Tostones. We enjoyed our meal with a bottle of sense. Thank you to the staff at PERL for such a lovely experience.

Honestly the Best Burger I’ve Ever Tried I’ve eaten great burgers in many places — Polo Club, 4 Charles, even Minetta Tavern in New York. All of them are good, but the cheeseburger at PERL is on another level. From the first bite, you can feel the difference. The meat is super juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly right. The cheese melts perfectly on top, giving the burger an amazing flavor without being too heavy. And the bun is soft but strong enough so the whole burger stays together — something very important for me. Everything in this burger is done with intention and care. It’s simple, but perfect. After trying PERL’s cheeseburger, all the other famous burgers feel overrated. This one really changed the game for me. If you think you’ve already had the best burger, try the one at PERL. You will understand what I mean.

Food was okay. It wasn't bad just very bland They bring bread to the table which we found amazing. We ordered the chicken and the mushroom lasagna. I don't think we would order them again. The service was great. The restaurant has a great vibe and an even better interior design

Perl was a delicious 10/10! The ambiance was a vibe with the music being at a perfect volume so you could chat. Everything was amazing especially our server Tony. He was so sweet, attentive, professional, and made sure we were happy the whole time. On top of excellent service he provided a pleasant personality which is hard to find in the Miami area. We will definitely be back!

I came here for a date night. There's free parking in the parking garage adjacent to the building. We made reservations for 8:45 PM. We were sat immediately upon entering. It's a really pretty restaurant. Our server was Chelsea. She was very knowledgeable, amicable and attentive. My fish was delicious and the white sweet potato which I've never tried was very flavorful. We started with the artichokes as an appetizer. I ordered an espresso martini, although small was strong. For dessert, I had the chocolate mousse, it was the perfect sampling size and the fresh berries were a nice touch. It is an experience so expect to be there a couple of hours. I would highly recommend and can't wait to return for another special occasion.

This was our favorite meal by far while staying in Aventura this week. Incredible service - Chelsea may be one of my favorite servers I've ever had. She truly loves what she does and it shines through in her personality -- enhancing the dining experience. The outside environment was amazing and made it easy to converse with others at our table. And the food was incredible. It was presented well and tasted even better! So so good. I loved it all. From the espresso martini to the Caesar with candied walnuts - to the wild mushrooms. And the sea brean fish with Japanese sweet potato. One item was better than the next. Loved it so much and would definitely want to come back next time I come to Ft. Lauderdale.

I had a great meal here. I love that the menu is produce forward, with mushrooms, artichokes, hearts of palm, and more being showcased. The branzino was great, as were the grilled hearts of palm. The bread they give the table is unbelievable too. The restaurant seems very nice inside while the outside definitely lacked ambiance. Regardless, the food alone makes me want to return.

Put this restaurant at the top of your list if you are dining in Aventura. I've been here multiple times and every single time, I am impressed by how fresh and flavorful every single dish tastes. You can feel the love that was put into each dish. The wasabi Caesar salad is unreal and honestly the regular one is so good too! Every fish dish we've had has been excellent. This last time I had lamb chops but the steaks are great too! So are the desserts. Lovely atmosphere and the staff are so attentive and welcoming. Highly recommend!!!

Great restaurant very nice and cute inside. Food quality is excellent. Lots of fish options started out with the grilled heart of palm. Best thing ever with truffle next got the Caesar salad. That was amazing. They had two different kinds. We got the original then we just also got a salmon, Tito and a tuna Tartar. Everything was great quality fresh tasty. Great service nice restaurant easy parking.

Came to the restaurant this evening with my family and I was very surprised by service when we came in. I had a reservation and they gave us a high top table and I do not like high tops so the manager Franco did his best and changed us quickly to a regular table that started well and definitely made my experience at the restaurant. Much better than service was done by Tony really professional. We ordered a New York strip we ordered a burger a Caesar salad, the traditional one and salmon tiradito. The strip was cooked to perfection, medium rare the burger medium was spectacular. The Caesar salad salad with pinenuts gave it a twist that was really nice and the salmon tiradito was also very good. They have a small wine list, but they have a pretty good selection. The restaurant is small and cozy but all in all it was a very good experience. I will be coming to this place more often as service and food is very good.

Best restaurant of the area by far! Excellent food and service. All his "crudos" are absolutely the best, freshness and flavor on point. His Cesar salad with wasabi has the perfect kick Love the lamb chops and the Japanese sweet potatoes. A must if you are in the aventura area.

Miami Spice at Perl This hidden gem of a restaurant in Aventura really surprised us - although the food was good it was the service that truly made this restaurant stand out! The service was EXCEPTIONAL! We were greeted by our server who had been there since the restaurant opened in 2020 and she was so outgoing, warm, and friendly, and truly excited about the food and the menu the restaurant served. She truly took exceptional care of us! If only the food was as good as the service was I'd rate the restaurant 5 stars but unfortunately some of the dishes fell a little flat. The food was very much 50/50 : either the dish was absolutely amazing or just not that great... This was our first time at the restaurant and were excited to try their Miami Spice Menu. We started with the grilled artichoke hearts which was a very simple dish but done very well. The artichokes were perfectly cooked a little crispy and had a great grilled flavor to them that went perfectly with the leek remoulade sauce. It was one of my favorite dishes - it was simple but fresh and full of flavor! Highly recommend! We ordered the beef tenderloin tartare as our second appetizer and was a dish I was really excited to try because i absolutely love tartare dishes. Unfortunately, this dish was just bad it was very disappointing. First of all, presentation was just bad on this dish. Although you know beef tartare is a rare dish or almost raw dish I don't think the dish needed to actually "LOOK" raw and it just looked bad on the plate. It looked like a raw beef burger patty that you picked up from the grocery store which made the dish off putting to eat or try. It didn't help that the beef tartare was round like a raw beef burger patty and the same frozen light pink color that you would see from a raw grocery store burger patty and it was served with a handful of fries so together on the plate it looked like you were getting ready to cook a raw burger at a BBQ and had fries on the plate for it. For such a high end place and for the high end price point they could have done something more elevated with this dish and rethought the presentation. Flavor wise the dish was ok, but not a great dish it, and we didn't finish it. Our server was amazing though and even though we didn't complain about the dish and simply left it she immediately saw we weren't a big fan of the dish and brought out the grouper carpaccio for us to try instead. Now that dish was absolutely DELICIOUS! Not only was the presentation of the dish absolutely beautifully and colorful and reminded you of summer but it was delicious as well and full of flavor. It had a little bit of a kick to it but it was fresh and light and absolutely perfect. I really wish we would have skipped the beef tartare and started with this appetizer instead. For entrees we both ordered the 10 oz hanger steak since it had been a while since we had a good steak and truly it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. 10 out of 10! Highly recommend! The steak was a great size (especially for Miami Spice) and was cooked perfectly medium rare. It was so soft and tender and it melted right in your mouth. It was served with fries and served with just a little bit of sauce on it that went perfectly with the steak. Again for such a nice restaurant, and compared to the rest of the menu, this dish was a very simple dish and wasn't very complex or different but it was a very good dish and executed perfectly. For desert we decided to order both the Miami Spice deserts to try one of each and the deserts fell a little flat here as well - it was 50/50. Although not the biggest fan of matcha... we decided to try the matcha cheesecake anyways but it wasn't to our taste - another dish we took two bites of and didn't finish. The cheesecake had an overpowering amount of matcha flavor to it and we were just not a fan of it, it tasted a little too earthy for our liking. I'm sure if you like matcha you'd enjoy it though. The Japanese ice cream sandwiches were tasted good but were not a wow dessert, they were just ok. It was two small halves of a macaroon looking sandwich filled with ice cream cut in half and served over a black napkin and the ice cream was good but nothing remarkable or special. For the beautiful restaurant we were in I feel like they could have chosen something more creative or beautiful to end the meal with or a desert that had a little more wow factor to it. We just expected a little more for desert to be honest. Overall the restaurant did have a couple of outstanding dishes and the service throughout was absolutely amazing - our server truly made the evening special.

Second time dining at Perl. Food is awesome, service is awesome. Charred Eggplant might be the best eggplant dish i've ever had. Perl Baby Gem Caesar with Candied Walnuts 10/10 Faroe Island Salmon 10/10 Great for groups. Rooftop available for Events. Outdoor seating available. 5 stars.

Stopped by here on my birthday, 4/26, hoping they would be good for lunch. Nope they weren't, they were superb. The host, the server(Andrew) , the ambiance were outstanding. The food was flavorful, delicious. The broccolini was superb & so were the red snapper tacos. I ate outside which was a great choice. They have a bird in the cage above. Stop by here...u will not regret it.

This place has become my favorite restaurant in aventura!!! the service and food cant compare to anywhere else. My favorite was the branzino and the mushroom lasagna but i can confidently say anything you order off the menu will taste delicious. Our serve frank guided us through our dinner. If frank suggests ordering anything you must do it! i trust his suggestion blindly. Apart from knowing the menu frank was super attentive and kind. I had been here 1 time before to eat and another just for drink; must say the staff service is extremely welcoming. if you're too full for dessert, no you're not. Gds gift paired with a coffee is worth making the sacrifice of entering a potential food coma. cant recommend a restaurant as strongly as this one! AMAZING 100/10 must try.

Was so excited to try Perl on the final evening of Miami Spice. The place has a nice interior and nice outdoor seating area. I was curious to see the rooftop they mentioned was available for private events when we walked in. That would be a great spot for a small company holiday party or even a birthday. Our server was very lovely and knew the menu very well. The only issue was we had asked for tap water but were charged at the end for a bottle of water. Not a huge deal. We started off with their delicious complimentary bread. Then the burrata and ceviche - both were very good with great flavor. We both had the branzino which you could tell was made fresh and the skin was beautifully crisp. The mushrooms and onions were perfect as were the tomatoes and capers. And to complete our delicious meal, we had the chocolate flan cake and the olive oil cake with lemon curd. I can't pick a favorite - they were both divine. Would love to go back and try more of their crudos.

Perl is fantastic. Food is always incredible, and fresh. Some kosher options which is also nice. Highly recommend.

Exactly the kind of restaurant I wanted to dine at in Miami when visiting from out of town. Luckily it was spice so we could try a lot of the fare! Focaccia was super yummy I got a watermelon margarita and also tried the caipirinha cocktail both were on the stronger side and super refreshing! Broccoli and mushroom appetizers were simple but tasty. Burrata was my favorite the roasted cherry tomatoes were the perfect compliment to the creamy burrata. Loved the fish on the spice menu I think it was red snapper but I remember it has a delicious crispy skin on the outside and the prime rib was cooked perfectly and definitely a favorite in our party. For dessert we had the olive oil cake and a chocolate cake dessert that were excellent. Our server I wish I could remember her name but she was amazing she was working in the evening on 9/17 on the patio she had such great recommendations attentive service and so knowledgeable with the menu and just really made the experience wonderful!

Great place for lunch or dinner. Nice and modern. Great background music that wasn't loud (tropical house when I visited). Food: Hearts of palm appetizer dish was superb! Never had it prepared just like that-unique combo of and delicious flavors. Mushroom appetizer was good. Drinks: That yellow jalapeño Service: Our server was so kind and great. I think he was from California. Parking: Free parking right next restaurant, they have a while section reserved for their customers.

Found this restaurant kind of by accident and it was an absolute delight. We ordered the Watermelon Margarita to start and it was perfect and super fresh. Our waiter asked if we wanted the complimentary bread and it was definitely the highlight of our meal. It was so soft and delicious. We ordered the Tuna Tartare as an appetizer and it was so good. Completely fresh and the avocado crema was a perfect addition. For our entree we ordered the salmon and it had this smoky glaze on it, super tasty. The last thing we ordered was the Nutella croissant with a macchiato, I will 100% be back for that. Overall delicious meal, service, and ambiance.

The outdoor patio area is very nice but we ended up going inside because of mosquitoes. The inside has a cool atmosphere. Water is $2 per person for regular or sparkling. We started with the Baby Gem Cesar Salad. We also had the Tuna and the Snapper dinner and everything was very good. I really enjoyed the Tuna and the Japanese White Sweet Potato. Parking is in the garage of the building close by.

Had a great dinner at Perl last night. Everything was delicious. Tony was a great server :) We didn't realize it was the first night of miami spice and enjoyed their specials. The PERL Cesar salad was also great! Highly recommend giving it a try, we will be back!

Every time I come here I have a great time! The food is always to die for and the service is always on point. Make sure to get the special baby gem salad! The heart of palms are also so gooooood!

Right from the beginning, it felt odd dining west of Biscayne Boulevard. However, it was recommended that I try Perl, and the bread is delicious. Navigating to Perl seemed a little off when I ended up approaching some dwellings, but as I made a quick left turn, it was apparent that we had arrived. But where should we park? I went around the block and discovered that there was a parking garage. There were a few parking spots designated specifically for the Perl restaurant, and luckily, one was available. We ended up walking into a lobby and then had to walk outside a few steps to the entrance to Perl. The modern interior was narrow, and there was limited seating. Because the weather was perfect, we all sat outside. The space was pleasant, with a protective overhang and freestanding tall planter boxes adjacent to the tables. This offered some privacy and blocked the view from the street and the busy shopping center next door. A pleasant server who asked if we would like sparkling water greeted us. We declined and asked for plain water with ice and lemon. The server placed small glasses on our table along with a tall, reusable glass reusable dispenser. We never received our ice, but we were happy to have a basket of amazing focaccia, a few crunchy flat breads, and a small ceramic vessel of delicious dipping oil. My two nieces ordered the tuna bowl lunch special, and I ordered the fish tacos. They served the fish tacos with tostones, which I liked; however, the server told me they were not soft but were actually chips, so I settled for French fries instead. Why not call them plantain chips on the menu? I was told that I would receive three tacos; however, I can order additional tacos. The girls liked the tuna bowl, which was served nicely. The fish on my tacos was tiny, and the taco itself fell apart as you went to take a bite. They lacked flavor, so I asked for some spicy mayo. The French fries were overly crisp and had that heavy oil taste that sits under the roof of your mouth, which I mentioned to the server. The server handed me the check and said that since the French fries were overcooked, the chef took the cost of the water off the bill, totaling six dollars. I was a little dumbfounded since I didn't even know that they charged me for water. I mentioned I had only asked for plain water and had not been told or seen this option on the menu. By the way, I went online to view the menu, and nowhere is it listed on the menus. They served plain water in a reusable glass container. We paid the bill, left the restaurant, and walked to my car. Suddenly, we were approached by the server, who was holding a payment device and voicing loudly that she only charged me for one tuna bowl and not two. It was alarming, however. I paid for the additional tuna bowl. Overall, the restaurant food is just mediocre and is just trying to be very happening at the moment. I was looking forward to having another option in town to go to, but there are just too many others in the neighborhood offering the same items for less, with tastier food. I was disappointed and there is something off with the menu. Unfortunately, I don't see Perl lasting very long.

I can't believe this gem in located in my area 'literally'! It opened up for a little over a year & I just found out about it. It's located in the coolest building that was built & I wondered what was going in there. Well anyway this restaurant is located right in the corner of it & if your not familiar with the area you can miss it! So let's get into my review, I absolutely enjoyed everything about it! The ambiance (thou it can get a little loud for it has high ceilings & for a loud talker it echoes yes we had one next to us) but regardless staff, server totally friendly and food delicious!!! I ordered appetizer's, a meal & split it w/ my friend & was enough. I will definitely be back, especially it's so close by. It's nice to have something so nice in my neighborhood!

Five stars hands-down for this restaurant. I came to treat my sister for her birthday and we were pleased with this location. Everything was absolutely amazing. I can't even find a complaint. Honestly if I could say anything I would say that the mushroom could've used a little salt depending on your taste, but that's it. Everything was seasoned perfectly, the drinks were fabulous, the hosts and servers were all very attentive. Our water cup never ran dry. You have got to check out the photos I shared. We had an array of things from cauliflower steak to crudos with halibut. And ohh than the dessert which I absolutely knew just from looking at it that it was going to be delicious. We chose the grilled croissant filled with Nutella. Definitely definitely definitely give this place a try. Omnivore & vegetarian friendly options , vegan if you change some things around but not many.

We also had the kampachi and tuna tartar , pure heaven!! Delicious food & impeccable service! Highly recommend for a great meal! Will be back for more

Wow absolutely everything was delicious! From the 5* service to the 5* food . Fresh and good quality fish and veggies. I ordered the Palmito it was goood, the tradito white fish and salmon both super delicious , and the Japanese potatoe side was also delicious! Next time I will try bigger entrees . Bruna was my server she was as attentive and friendly !

The chef is talented at presenting food amazingly. Loved the presentation of food. Loved the freshness of ingredients and reasonable price point of entrees. The apps are a bit pricey but generous portions. I prefer smaller apps so I could try more menu items for couples. The flavors of everything weren't exactly my pallet per se but they did a great job. I will tell you my honest thoughts: Loved Presentation presentation presentation Cleanliness Complementary bread and dip was out of this world- they make it in house with zatar loved it! Tasted like butter heaven with flavor melted on my tongue I also really liked the salmon- cooked to perfection simple and fresh - heathy Dessert- croissant out of this world soft Drinks- mixed beautifully Didn't like The server was too attentive- it kind of annoyed me- but some people like that- I felt she kept coming up to us. I like attention but not annoying energy when I eat. Too chatty- leave me alone as we enjoy our date The salad was good but too many nuts- I think maybe it could have had another touch of something that was missing to make it taste more fresh The cauliflower/ mushroom had a burnt taste I think it was garlic reduction or balsamic I'm not sure but something tasted sour or too acidic. There was a flavor off. They need to try KYU Wynnwood vegetables- if they mirror that a bit you can eat more and enjoy without getting sick of the flavor. Will be back to try more menu items as the chef is talented and I like the clean decor.

We've been back to Perl at least 3 times since my last review. We went last Saturday evening. The food continues to be delicious! We are always treated so well and the service is good. We had the tuna tartare and a Caesar salad to start. Delicious! We then had the sea bream and salmon. Everything was prepared perfectly. In a community where there are so many restaurants, we will continue to come to Perl for consistently fine food.

The best Filet Mignon I have ever tried in my entire life. It was delicious it was literally melting in my mouth while surrounded with the essence of the Au Poivre make my night better with every bite. The Chef came to the table to check how I was doing and it was quite impressive and make me feel very good. The waitress Janeth had an indescribable touch that make my experience unique. Thank you for your excellent service.

It was my second time at the restaurant. They did not add or change any items on the menus. Let's start with the water. Great idea but so not classy to keep the bottles on the table. The service. Had to ask for bread ( cold /hard) . Before we finished the appetizers, the server said / the mains are ready can I bring them??? When he did bring them. He did not wipe table organize etc and just plopped them down. Had to ask for forks / steak knives etc. Then before we even finished desert he brought the bill. So not cool. The food. It's ok but in Miami you need to be much better then ok. The kicker I always tip 20% but when the server brought the machine he clicked the 20% thought that was odd. And the restaurant was not full / no vibe...

I've heard so many good things about this place from more than one friend. I arrive and the hostess seated me and I was there for a bit but my waitress finally arrived by then I had reviewed the entire menu and knew what I wanted. It was Miami Spice 2022 so I ordered from that menu the tuna rice appetizer, the lamb dinner, and the sorbet dessert. From the regular menu I ordered the Kanpachi. Let me say the food is excellent! The kanpachi was so refreshing on a hot South Florida night, no joke. I hear food critics say that and it's true some ingredients can do that on a hot night this dish delivered. For some reason my dinner order was delayed and I got a bite of some cold lamb but they made up for it with a ready and hot plate less than 10 minutes later. Do come here!! The chef is not playing your taste buds will thank you.

I have visited this place three times mostly for special occasions. Food is always well done as well as the service. They have one of the best Miami Spice menus I've experienced over the years. I particularly love the branding and lamb chomps. They even have several gluten free options including unique desserts. If I want a special night out in the northeast corridor of Miami, this is my spot! The ambiance is also pleasing and worth the extra cash dropped.

Thank you to Chris and Chelsea for making my bf and I's experience here nothing short of AMAZING. When you come, ask for them because they're great. From you walk in, the place is so cute! It's on the small intimate side. It probably seats under 50 people at a time and that's including the bar seats. There is a modern stone aesthetic to it, even the bathroom is nice to look at it. We started off with the Crispy Maitake Mushroom. A good size for an appetizer, surprisingly. The Yuzu Vinaigrette is tart which I'm not a fan of. For me, my meal consisted of the table side bread which is some of the best I've had and the Bamboo rice. That rice was so aromatic. The Bamboo essence is potent but adds a delicious flavor to the rice and crispy shallots on top. They let us try the Panna Cotta along with the God's Gift for dessert I'll say the God's Gift won for sure. The Nutella croissant with the ice cream was so good. I fell in love with the first bite. The Panna Cotta is very light and lacks sugar but hey, if that's what you're looking for, it wasn't horrible.

Neighborhood gem, creative dishes, a perfect fit for foodies. The place is modern new. Home bake bread. Any crudo fans will have a feast. We tried the entire crudo menu and all were Amazing. Our server, Kevin was excellent, detail oriented, and his mother makes all the baking. She is amazing!!!!. They are doggy friendly and they have inside and outside seating. They follow good Covid protocol. We will be back on Saturday again to try more things from the menu

Yummy food and I've always had great service. The lychee martini is great too! I also like that it's not terribly loud inside, you can have a nice conversation with your partner while enjoying your meal- the seam bream is my favorite.

Food was absolutely exquisite! The service, however, was an epic failure- you would expect a lot more especially for the prices.

I liked the food and some of the experience. We ordered several dishes. The Caesar salad was a bit fishy so that is one issue. The second is the waitress didn't poor our water nor wine for that matter. With the price we pay, the servers should be more attentive. We will return for a second chance.

Found this through Yelp and didn't know what to expect. Glad I took a chance. The food was fantastic. A great meal from start to finish. Great cocktails; the focaccia bread and the olive oil were divine. Had the tuna tartare which just melted in your mouth. For the main course we had the crispy skin Branzino and the sea bream. Blew us away. I will go back to try the mushroom lasagna. This place is not to be missed.

Wow!!!! We have talking about going and finally did!!! It was great Rob Manager was attentive and made sure we were enjoying ourself thru out the meal. Our server Andrew was Amazing and Funny!!!! Love the food and love that anyone will pass by and asked if we needed something. The only negative thing is they run out of Creme Brûlée my Boyfriends favor no desert lol I guess we will have to go back for it. Great Place

I'm going 5 stars here. It seemed improbable to me that this hidden little gem sitting here on Miami Gardens Dr like some lonely little dwarf star out in the universe could be discovered and be so good. Located in a commercial office/retail building with a giant bird sanctuary as its main center piece the restaurant is smartly outfitted lending to a very nice ambience albeit very loud when the restaurant filled up. So the space could use some sound attenuating panels to quiet the chatter down a bit. But that aside, the food was terrific. I have been less than pleased with my steaks lately from over priced steakhouses and other restaurants. They have not been prime quality no matter what is stated on the menu. Here at Perl was a different story. The prime filet mignones were tender supple and tasty. The mittaki mushroom in Yuzu sauce was beyond amazing, the salmon superb quality expertly cooked, my big eye tuna steak while a tad overcooked was none the less fabulous in its bed of exotic mushrooms. I prefer big eye over ahi. Deserts equally as good. Price wise even better, very reasonable making this place an at least 2 night a week candidate. Don't say that much these days. Prices have gone sky high in what I would call pedestrian restaurants. Here you get a huge bang for your buck due to the quality of the ingredients and the expertise of Chef's cooking. To me it seemed implausible to have such a fine dinning experience in a local unpretentious restaurant so I'm going to have to try it again as soon as possible to make sure it wasn't a one time fluke. (Twist my arm-lol). If you're tired of paying for over priced ho hum food try this place out you won't be disappointed I promise.

The ambiance is nice. The space is a bit tight, which is a little annoying when you have to wait for your table. There's no where to sit or stand. Once seated, we had a lovely waitress. The bread service was delicious. The food over all was very good. We ordered a lot. The grilled hearts of palm which I really loved, but my sisters not so much and the maitake mushrooms which I didn't love and thought I totally would but my sisters loved. The hamachi crudo was delicious, the octopus was meh. The kosher ribeye was awesome, the fries were really yummy and the potato pave was also very good. We ordered the south side and the spritzer for cocktails and everyone loved them.

service was ok. my Tuna. was horrible. couldn't eat. it. cooked wrong. my wife's fish was good. but i would never go back chef didn't come out when i ask for him offered me a shitty desert. too bad

Chef IP knows how to present an excellent plate of food! It's clear that everything from the combination of flavors to the artful presentation to the sleek decor is well thought out. For appetizers, we absolutely loved the crispy maitake mushrooms, grilled cauliflower steak, and PERL Caesar salad. You also can't go wrong with any of the crudos, but my favorite happened to be the salmon tiradito! We each ordered a main and my local red snapper was some of the best fish I've had... skin was perfectly crisp and the side of Japanese sweet potato was exceptional! I can't speak any higher of the quality at PERL. Everything was beyond delicious and service was perfect. Would highly recommend!

This is the hottest new restaurant in Miami. From the gourmet food, hand crafted cocktails, romantic ambiance, and attentive service- PERL is top notch. Incredible environment for celebrations & intimate dinners. HIGHLY recommend.

Came to lunch during Miami Spice and I was NOT disappointed. With my husband's help I was able to try everything on the Spice menu. Although it was a little rainy we chose to sit outside. There are screens around the perimeter that can pull down, which we didn't need. There is a parking garage with spaces specifically for PERL. We started off with lychee martini, it was delicious and strong. The lychee fruit is an interesting flavor, and the martini comes with 2 pieces of fruit. They also comp guest a seasoned focaccia bread with a cracker along with olive oil. We got one each of the Cesar's salads. Both are grilled which was super unique, but I preferred the PERL with the wasabi-truffle dressing. The wasabi wasn't very strong, but it still gives a kick, coupled with the char on the lettuce, it kinda tastes as if meat is added. I preferred the short rib au jus over the chicken sandwich, but I think cheese on the au jus would've taken the sandwich to a "whole nother" level. The fries included with each sandwich were really tasty. After eating my salad, half my sandwich, 2 servings of bread (they kindly brought out another serving) majority of my fries, and drinking the martini, I was full. My husband reminded me that we still had dessert. My eyes got wide b/c I was stuffed. I wasn't a fan of the chocolate flan, but historically, I'm not a fan of flan. The chantilly cream that adorns the flan was yummy. I preferred my husband's olive oil cake, which they swapped out with no hesitation. The cake gives key lime pie vibes, with a type of broiled meringue atop, lemons and limes garnishing and a oatmeal cookie crumble. Our server was very attentive and the food was good. For the two of us, the meal plus tip was over $100. It was a cute spot with filling food.

Food's not good, restaurant is really small and uncomfortable, food is too expensive. There are hundreds of restaurants in the area much better, nicer and cheaper

Perl is a Gem. It's located on the ground floor of a brand new Class A office building with stylish, clean decor inside and plenty of outside seating as well. The bread and desserts are baked in house, the bread is off the charts good, on par or better than Zak the baker. N.B. We are serious foodies, we don't order like normal people, i.e. an appetizer and entree a dessert. We are two but typically order 7-8 dishes on our first visit to give us a representation of the talent and to know if we should return to order the rest of the menu. We do favor fish, but we eat everything. For our first visit we tried all five crudos on the menu plus one additional one on special. We followed that with an amazing dessert, see photos and descriptions. Staff are all attentive and professional. Kevin was an outstanding server. There is a concise but serviceable wine list otherwise corkage for a special wine from your cellar is $35 I believe. They have access to a rooftop for your special event needs. Perl fills a need for upscale dining in the area. We will certainly return to sample the other gems on the menu.

Great addition to North Dade. The bread basket is wonderful. Salmon was really good, as was the service. My wife had the snapper-crispy and fresh. Nice sides on all. Check it out.
