"Korean-Chinese takeout is as traditional Korean as it gets, with jjajangmyeon (Korean-Chinese-style black bean noodles), beef with green onions and sweet and sour pork all major hits. The Dragon (or Yong-Goong, as it’s known to Koreans) is an LA banquet institution and is keeping the lights on by moving takeout orders." - Euno Lee

"The jjajangmyeon and jjampong at Yong-Goong (or Dragon) invokes a certain type of nostalgia for Korean Americans who have had the experience of dining here for weddings, first birthdays, or perhaps a certain mom's Korean American Librarians and Information Professionals meetings (don't ask). The jjampong doesn't skimp on the seafood, and the heat from the spices can reach pretty extreme levels. Worthy side dishes include an order of tangsuyuk (Korean sweet and sour pork) or the Dragon's tender Mongolian Beef." - Euno Lee

Food is good and consistent - we got the Kung Pao Shrimp (my favorite), jjajjangmyun (it hit tonight), beef w/ mushrooms and seafood medley. Great venue for large gatherings - they also have plenty of private rooms. Service is impeccable, especially if you have a birthday. They'll store in their fridge, bring it out with candles ready to go when you give the signal. They also provide paper plates and forks. They always have valet parking for $2 during lunch hours and $3 for dinner.

We have our annual holiday party here. The food is delicious and satisfying. Large portions. The staff was attentive and accommodating to such a large party. The vibe is quiet and homely. You don't feel rushed to complete your meal. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. There is valid parking in back which I highly recommended.

I love Jajangmyun and Jjambbong. For this reason, i am advantageous on finding a good chinese korean restaurant. First time here with my family. I have to say this is the best jajangmyun i had in LA area.

My food was delicious! I didn’t care too much for the sweet and sour pork though. It was kinda chewy, the sweet n sour shrimp was wayyyy better light but yet crispy.

I've been going here for 40+ years and never disappoints. I always get the same thing...tangsuyuk and jjajangmyun. No, it's not under construction even though the graffiti would hint otherwise. We parked on the street headed South and had a good lunch.

It’s kind of tricky to get in by car through entrance from Vermont Ave, but once you’re get in, you can see a big parking lot and nice restaurant. The food is pretty good especially Jajangmyeon is good 👍

Very good korean Chinese food restaurant in the heart of Koreatown. This been here forever. Decent Chinese food pretty good service this is where all the Korean celebrations are held such as the 100-day birthday and the one year old birthday. Even smaller weddings and other birthday such as 60th and 70th and 80th birthdays are held here. I always overeat when I come here. The kimchi is addictive. I can't stop eating the stuff. Better come here without eating lunch for dinner. Definitely I'm always going back here. #KoreanChinesefood #theDragon
