Located within the Pierre Hotel, Perrine is a beautiful French restaurant that has been a great Upper East Side establishment for brunch or breakfast meetings in the past. My experiences have been fabulous. I have not tried the dinner menu, which I am sure is great too. Perrine is a nice, sophisticated place to dine. The location right on 5th Avenue is spectacular!

The ambiance made me feel as though I had been transported to another country. It was incredibly beautiful and elegant—just the kind of dining experience I love. The food was exceptional farm to table. Customer service was exceptional; staff was attentive and engaging. I’m eager to return and explore their other dining selections!

Sunday brunch at this establishment was quite an experience! I opted for the entrée, drink, and dessert combo for $77 and added an extra $11 to make it a steak and eggs. The combo is a great deal, saving you about $15-$20 compared to ordering separately. The steak and eggs were perfectly cooked, pairing wonderfully with the cocktail I chose. The tiramisu was simply fantastic. The atmosphere was vibrant and the food delicious. While the waitstaff were a bit too busy to take my orders promptly, everything else was top-notch. What truly sets this place apart is its exquisite interior and decor. It felt like stepping into a medieval scene in Venice or Paris. Highly recommended for both the food and the unique ambiance!

Let me start by saying our server, Victor, is the man. He really made my wife feel special on her 30th birthday. This restaurant is located in The Pierre hotel and has beautiful decor. I came hoping to have dinner in the beautiful Rotunda room on a Sunday evening, but it wasn't open to the public. We were allowed to take some pictures and enjoy the room for a short period, which made the experience totally worth it. I was slightly disappointed by the abbreviated menu, and I didn't particularly enjoy the food but the drinks were great. Shout out to Victor and the bartender for taking care of us, thank you! ✊🏽

Perrine offers an exceptional dining experience, characterized by outstanding service and exquisite cuisine. The salad and fish of the day were particularly noteworthy, showcasing the restaurant's culinary expertise. While accessing the dining room presented some initial challenges as hotel guests, this may not be representative of the experience for external visitors. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall quality of the establishment is undeniable. I highly recommend Perrine to discerning diners and look forward to returning in the future.

There is no hostess, waited there for 5 minutes then I had to walk myself and sat at a table. Waiters are distracted, even if their attention is nice once they come to your table. Mushroom soup especially bad, at least they were amenable enough to take it away. Nice place but underwhelming.

Came with my sister and we enjoyed our meal. The waiter kept uncomfortably remarking on the fact that I don’t drink, but the food was delicious. This restaurant is more conservative than trendy, but it’s in a historic hotel and was still a pleasant experience. On a Sunday evening, we didn’t need to dress up too much. We had the pink pavlova for dessert which was fun and delicious.

Had saved Perrine down on my "to visit" place while ago and was so excited to finally make it there; however; I was a little underwhelmed by the food for the price. Also the beautiful rotunda in all pics is now only used for special events / weddings. Our server was very kind and he was working really hard but the restaurant seemed a little disorganized / confused. Dishes we had: Escargot was a bit bland and initially was served without bread Special - scallop saffron risotto, this dish prob saved the day as scallops were cooked very well and risotto & sauce were delicious NY strip steak & fries, this dish was good but nothing outstanding

Had an amazing dinner at Perrine yesterday. I tried one of their steaks and pavlova for dessert. The food was exactly what I expected. Meat temperature cooked to order. Simple and delicious. The service is great, friendly and very attentive. There were 2 servers helping me out at the table. A cozy place steps away from Central Park.

Is the new French menu an excuse to raise prices? Steak with Fries was $62, now Steak Frites is $72 on the new French menu, Roasted chicken was $46, a "simply prepared" option was $39, and now it is $52 without options. Shocking to us regulars, given that the quality remains the same, and only the menu language changed. The French menu format does not make Perrine a French restaurant, nor does it justify the higher pricing. Then there are a few faux-pas, the delicious rolls have been replaced by mini baguettes. While that sounds Frenchy, crustless dough shaped like a tiny baguette is not French. I'm sure Chef Michael will fix that soon. The wine list remained the same on paper, but we tried to order three different mid-priced wines before finding one they still had. Perrine continues to serve delicious, fancy cocktails at the bar and their service staff is second to none. We will watch the new Perrine format from the bar, enjoying one of the best Espresso Martinis in Manhattan, but until the prices return to normal, we will not cross into the dining area. The waiters are super duper nice and very helpful. He gave us multiple recommendations and my favorite is braised short ribs and the squid ink pasta. Food is absolutely delicious. They also have Black truffles that can be topped to any dishes. Dessert is apple pie with butter pecan ice cream. Highly recommended by our server and absolutely delicious. The pie crust just melts inside your mouth. Nice ambiance and perfect for date nights or any special occasions. Also make sure you take some pictures at the foyer, which is located in front of the bathrooms. Definitely a must try place in NYC!

Came by with two friends on a Wed. We had reservations, but at the time the restaurant wasn't too busy - a handful of tables here and there with the overall elegantly quiet atmosphere. We decided to order a few dishes to share family-style. First, we had the crab imperial flatbread. The crab was very tasty and I liked the herbs that added a nice touch. However, I found the flatbread itself to be a bit bland (e.g. the crusts without crab on it in particular were not very tasty). We also had the striped bass which was quite nice. Fish was fresh and well cooked, and the complementary potato addition was a nice textural contrast. Finally, we had the paneer pasanda which was my favourite. I loved the tomato sauce (which I actually ended up using for some of the less-flavoured bites of the flatbread). The cheese itself was a bit hard texturally - difficult to cut but was OK to chew. The finger millet was not to my taste but I think was fine to pair with the paneer. Service was overall very attentive but I did think that the food took abnormally long to come, especially given the relatively small number of other customers at the time. Price point was about as expected, if not a bit lower, which was nice to see. Good experience overall but given the glut of fantastic restaurants in the city I'm not sure if I'm that keen on coming back soon. (Also, we didn't get bread and I didn't realise that that might have been a thing until seeing some of the other reviews here lol)

For such a beautiful venue inside the Pierre, I was expecting better. - there is no wine menu, only an extensive cocktail menu with 5 bottles of red wine options (hubby was expecting a larger list) - did not give us bread! Had to ask for it after we received our apps! - no sharing plates! We shared the dishes amongst three people and we used our small bread plates! However, being below expectations, the food was good. Ordered from restaurant week menu - saffron chicken kebab was delicious! The best dish, with an amazing chutney - tuna tartare, fresh and good flavor - branzino - was ok - beef short ribs - really wanted to like this, but was so dry and too sweet, had a heavy caramelized sauce over the ribs, tasted more of a beef jerky - cavatelli - this was good, pasta was Al dente and firm with a meat sauce - warm chocolate cake was good. The cake was so warm with a scoop of ice cream - olive oil cake, pass, note: there is no olive oil! Only "cooked" in olive oil Overall, really wanted to love this place but was below my expectations. Would absolutely come back for the chicken kebab! Others not so much.

I'm pretty clueless when it comes to fine dining, so it's always nice when a friend gives a recommendation. While I don't plan on making a habit of coming to Perrine (and my wallet is very thankful for that), it was an excellent experience overall. Staff was incredibly attentive throughout my meal, and willing to accommodate requests -- they even asked the kitchen for loose mint leaves to brew mint tea from scratch, very kind of them to go above and beyond like that. The food was delicious. We had their beet salad, as well as tuna tartare to start. Both were fresh and full of flavor, with decently sized portions. Lots of tuna in the tartare dish. For mains, I had a pasta dish with ragu, and it was definitely worth the price. The pasta tasted freshly made, and was prepared perfectly. And the ragu sauce had me almost licking my plate. Finally, we shared a pavlova for dessert, and can't recommend it strongly enough. It was a great balance of textures and flavors, a great way to end the meal. If you're going to splurge on a fancy dinner, Perrine is an excellent choice.

I have to laugh at some of the Restaurant Week reviews --- if you go during a time when prices are discounted and there are more guests than usual because it's cheaper, then service/quality are just NOT going to be as good as normal. That said, I thought service at the Perrine (not during RW) was extraordinary. They really took care of me and my guest, but the quality of the food did not match the service. It wasn't bad by any means, just not memorable. For those looking for a particular ambiance, Perrine is a fun place to go and I would return, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

I have to say, I booked this place for brunch because of the view and art it had to offer. To sum up my review before I go into it: three star service, four star food, with five star ambiance. 12:30 during a rainy Sunday and an active marathon right outside leaves it not packed, but moderately filled with patrons waiting for breakfast foods and cocktails. My two friends arrived before me, and the first thing I noticed were the servers' not so efficient ... service. They were lovely and patient with us, but they were definitely the kind not to check up if everything was okay, henceforth we needed to flag them down for everything. After we were served our drinks (and btw, $20 is highway robbery for one peach bellini/mimosa/skinny margarita/pretty much all their cocktails on menu) and we'd had them for quite some time, we kind of had to wave for the rest of our order. A pre-fixe with the addition of the watermelon feta salad (which was just ok compared to other restaurants serving it). We all got steak and eggs, lol, with the steak being cooked at different preferred temps. Just okay, nothing special. Pretty forgettable but better than diner steak and eggs. One of our servers offered us bread at the beginning btw, but he never delivered so of course we had to flag him down for that too as our entrees were already half eaten So dessert time. We ordered the lemon tart, pavlova, warm chocolate cake, and the blueberry tart with creme brulee ice cream because why not. The spoons they gave us were dirty looking -_- I had second hand embarrassment when we told the waiter and he was trying to explain that they just weren't polished. Okaaay. You didn't have to explain, we just want new spoons lol. The dessert was pretty standard. Could definitely find better elsewhere. They were pretty though. The bill comes! My friends pay because they wanted to celebrate a milestone of mine. But after the initial charge, we noticed we were not charged for pre-fixe prices -_- another strike from their staff. They modify and void the first charge from my friends' cards... but STILL I feel bad. But I feel worse because I booked this place and expected better. I don't want to feel embarrassed for choosing a dud restaurant you know? It's beautiful but they need help.

I came here for RW with a few friends/ colleagues as it's close to my office and the menu looks expansive . I got the chicken for appetizer, short rib for main . Both were good and has good flavor profile . Everyone liked their dishes as well . The desserts while they look delicious were but I could be wrong but they seemed to have been reheated hence if you don't eat it quick enough, the consistency changes. We had two amazing bottles of reds. The restaurant is in and is upper east side. It's a good option for a quiet , sophisticated dinner. The waiters were attentive and friendly. The bar area was busy when we got there , died down and got busy again as we were leaving .

Have only done cocktails here but the signature cocktail menu has fun choices and both times I've been the bartenders were kind and attentive. Also the main dining room is gorgeous.

Excellent service all around and food next to central park! Host and server Mohammed was very friendly and sweet. Food was really good. Nice soft music too.

For a simple drop in after walking around the park and seeing the sights in NYC, Perrine was perfection. We were below well dressed and we were welcomed with no hesitation. We ordered the Perrine Burger medium and the mixed salad with radishes and shrimp. The food was delicious and the service was tops. The sauce for the burger comes on the side, it is a delicious thousand island dressing, making the buger the most grand double-double with cheese you will ever have...(ok, it's not a double, but it is thicker than the double at that other place.) Enjoy, it is great...(you are in NYC and you are overlooking central park--It is expensive, but worth it.

Love going to perrine for drinks and oysters. The service is great and the staff are so kind and generous. It was my friend birthday and they gave us a cake and champagne then sang happy birthday. After that encouraged us to take photos in their other room. Food and experience together made it a 10/10

Arrived in New York and checked into The Pierre Hotel. We were starving, so it was decided upon dining at Petrine. Finding the entrance was kind of tricky, but managed to find the secret door. Reservations is recommended, since it's an upscale restaurant. Started off with cocktails which starts at $20.00 , the boyfriend had the "Last Word" and he ordered "Oh my Gato" for me. The cocktail was made out of gin, Parma Liquor, lime juice, cucumber. The cucumber was musdwith basil which gave it a bitter aftertaste (not my favorite) For appetizers, we ordered the oyster in a half shell. They were small, which resembled Kumamoto's which are creamy on its own or topped with a minuet sauce or a squeeze of lemon. Because it was a cold evening, I opted for the thief classic French Onion soup and roasted, Brussel sprouts. The soup was rich, slightly salty with a burnt aftertaste to it. The Brussels sprouts was was roasted with almonds and granola. The granola gave it an interesting flavor which I enjoyed. The boyfriend, had the Pierre grass fed burger, topped with watercress. Grilled onions, remoulade sauce, Rupert cheese and pommes frites on the side We also ordered their Cavatelli in a hand cut bolognese and basil. The experience and ambiance was nice, but I would spend my monies elsewhere. The staff were great in explaining the menu, which sounded delicious, but palette wise, it was a disappointment.

My husband and I are friends with a nice couple, V & G. G was an old coworker of my husbands when we lived in Philly. G still works in Philly. V works in New Jersey. They have many friends in the city, including us. This time they came to visit, it was for restaurant week. This year, it was the 30th anniversary for restaurant week, so it went on in the city for 30 days. Restaurant Week celebrates local restaurants by serving a specialized 2-3 course lunch and/or dinner at a set price. Places that you otherwise wouldn't go to because it is expensive, this is the time to go try these places out. A lot of cities host their own restaurant week, so take the opportunity to go and try them. V & G booked Perrine before we asked them if they'd be interested in doing restaurant week with us. So they put 2 & 2 together and all 4 of us went. It's in the upper east side, right next to Central Park. So it caters to the wealthier patrons in the area. We are not their usual clientele. I remember the food was delicious. Our appetizers included grilled octopus (which 3 of us got), and the grilled chicken nuggets (which my husband got). The nuggets came with a kind of sauce that I remember being really good, super addictive. I would have just eaten the sauce by itself. For the entree, I think I got the steak or short-ribs (I can't remember), my husband got the pasta, V got the swordfish, and G got the sea bass (I think). We all got different entrees so we could try each others. Of course they were all really good. G also got a side of ratatouille. We got two bottles of wine total. The bottles were not cheap and I'm pretty sure the waiter or sommelier, whomever it was, ripped us off. Because after we left the restaurants, we looked up that same bottle we bought and it's a $15 bottle of wine. We were charged $80 for it. But it was restaurant week, so we didn't say anything. For dessert, it was the chocolate cake and a blueberry tart thingy, really delicious, definitely the icing on the cake. We were all so full it was hard to eat the dessert but we managed to do it. Then we swore we wouldn't eat for the next 3 days. Overall, great service, great ambience, excellent food, and nice location. I also forgot to mention the restaurant is attached to a hotel so the bathroom is in the hotel itself and I got lost trying to find the bathroom. It took me 10min to find it lol.

Set like a pearl in the Cuisine Capital of the World, this quintessential New York City fine dining restaurant offers foodies an excellent choice of locally sourced cullinary dishes with a French flair and an Indian touch. Dessert can be playfully crafted and enjoyable to taste. My Christmas Eve dinner not long ago was par excellence, and one I will remember (with passing guests appearing friendly and exchanging greetings with me). The service was impeccable, and the staff were kind. The beautiful wall-to-ceiling artwork and murals speak of Perrine's past granduer while encouraging new experiences to be had at this one-of-a-kind ethereal venue for travelers, city folk, families and lovers alike.

Rotunda Room at the Perrine Hotel; A Lovely and romantic room. We went for a pre-fix Valentine's Eve dinner. I think the pictures say it all. Atmosphere gets an A+. Food presentation gets an A+. Food quality and taste an A+. Service an A+. Do I need to say anything more? Definitely a pricey place, but we'll worth it.

Had so much fun for a birthday brunch. Waitstaff was accommodating and hilarious. Food is top tier & drinks delicious. Have fun & definitely go to the bar after!!!

Our breakfast was average at best. My husbands omelet was okay but quite tiny. Did not look like three eggs. My son got avocado toast, which was bland and the toast was not actually toasted. "Bread with unsalted guacamole" would have been a better name. And my lox bagel wasn't up to the NYC standard I expected. Bagel was hard and old, lox was flavorless, tomatoes were hard and flavorless. Everything needed loads of salt to have any flavor. My other sons chili toast was good, and the granola/yogurt/berry combo was great. Maybe this isn't the place for breakfast?

We've all wanted to try this restaurant for quite some time and Restaurant Week was a great opportunity to do so during one of our regular dinner meet-ups.The restaurant is located in The Pierre Hotel. My friends and I had a great time dining here and the staff was so welcoming! It didn't seem like they were being phony because we saw they had returning diners and they greeted each one of them in a friendly manner, but we were newcomers and we were also received in the same way. I believe our servers name was Tom and he was great! He discussed the menu with us and we asked him about suggestions on drinks. We decided on: Badoit sparkling water, a Paradise Kitty cocktail, an Oh My Gato cocktail and a Grey Goose Honey Deuce. The server was on break otherwise we probably would have ordered other drinks. For appetizers we decided on: Summer Salad Tuna Tartare and Char-Grilled Octopus. The Summer salad was delicious! I also tried the tuna tartare which was pretty good. I didn't try the octopus but I was told it tasted great as well. For entres we had: Grilled Swordfish Steak that came with peppers spinach and sauce piperade, Spring Chicken that came with white wine, zucchini mushrooms and peppers and Duo of Beef with a $15 supplement that included a Petite Filet & Braised Short Rib, parsnip puree, garlic spinach and shallots. Everything was delicious. I'd definitely go back to have the swordfish steak myself. The petite filet was okay in comparison to other steaks I've had only because it didn't seem like it was very seasoned but it still was good. However, the braised short rib was really good and was seasoned and had a great sauce with it. We also ordered a side of Glazed Carrots and a side of Pommes Frites a la carte. A great addition to our meals! There was this sauce for the carrots that we decided to try with the beef and the chicken it was sooo good!! For dessert we had Warm Chocolate Cake and Blueberry Chiffone Cake. I was told the cake wasn't too chocolatey and the ice cream was really good. The blueberry chiffone cake had lots of blueberries on top and it came with sorbet. I didn't know what to expect for this cake but it was different. I would try a different dessert next time. We sat inside because we're in the middle of a ridiculous heatwave but we look forward to returning and maybe checking out the terrace seating which I believe is totally different from the outside street seating. They also have a beautiful rotunda which we didn't get to sit in but the artwork inside is gorgeous! Theres a mural that extends from the walls to the ceilings and it's absolutely gorgeous!! You have to go to experience dining here for yourself! I'm sure you'll enjoy it tremendously!!!

The food was okay, but we paid nearly $500 the other day and the service was rude and they frequently ignored us when we politely asked for more water or the bill. They also rushed us out rudely, even though we had been patient with them and didn't receive all the items we requested. Not worth what we paid and I wouldn't return. Nice venue but the service was incredibly rude.

Came to Perrine to try their Restaurant Week menu and we had a great time. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. The interior was very classy, clean, and quiet. We especially loved the Pavlova dessert and Kale Cesar Salad.

We came here for diner with close friends. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Maria was amazing, she is very knowledgeable with the wines. She is a sommelier extraordinaire! The food was amazing. We had the octopus and tuna tartare to start. My wife had the swordfish steak and I had the filet with the braised short rib was delicious. The wine list is amazing and if you want a recommendation just ask Maria. Highly recommended!!!

Stopped by on Saturday for dinner on our way home. The gluten free rigatoni was just so delicious! The drinks were strong and the service was prestige! The salmon could have used a little bit more seasoning for sure but overall it was a wonderful experience. I'll be a regular.... I don't know how I overlooked this neighborhood gem!

I got chicken tikka for an appetizer and two pieces were completely raw , I ordered the gluten free pasta and that was undercooked ... my boyfriend was trying to get me to speak up and have them bring me something else.... but honestly if two out of two dishes you serve me are raw... no I don't want to send anything back and wait another 45 minutes for something else to come out . I just want to leave as soon as possible

Came here for restaurant week. The place is inside Perrine Hotel and and near Central Park. I was surprised that it was fairly empty when I arrived for a Friday 7pm dinner. The food was pretty good, the two appetizers: tuna tartare and heirloom tomato salad was really good. Tuna was fresh and nicely paired with the sauce. Tomato salad was also refreshing however, wish there was more burrata. The two main course, beef short ribs and swordfish; short rib was nicely paired with the sauce but the swordfish could use a little work; maybe it was the wrong sauce pairing. The desserts were good! Loved the creme brûlée from here, it had a little bit of a citrus taste! The warm chocolate cake was pretty good, warm and chocolaty but can get a bit overwhelming when you eat too much since it's heavy. I would go back to try their lamb chop and other dishes if I'm around the area.

- Gorgeous restaurant right on the corner of Central Park - They have a prix-fixe brunch menu where you can choose an entree, a dessert, and a drink for $45 - I got the omelette and it was a pretty light meal - We had the panna cotta and chocolate cake for dessert - Lots of light coming into the restaurant - Beautiful rotunda with a gorgeous chandelier - The bathrooms are VERY well maintained - Service was good - Since this is a white table-cloth restaurant, everyone was dressed very well - Come here for a fancy date, bring your parents for a special occasion, or just have brunch with friends

TL;DR Lovely ambiance, friendly service. Our food was thrown away by the server, and you can get better food for the price elsewhere in the city. My fiancé and I came during Restaurant Week to celebrate his birthday. We were excited to see that there was some Indian influence in the menu. I ordered tuna tartare, cavatelli, and warm chocolate cake. He ordered the wild mushroom soup, paneer pasanda, and sorbet. We decided against any beverages as we're trying to be healthier and it was a work night. Service was good and the server came every time we needed him. We both thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers. While eating our entrees, we both decided to save room for dessert and asked the server to box our meals. We had eaten about 1/3 of each dish, not even half. We specifically said "would you box this so we can save room for dessert" and "we can't wait to eat this at home later". The desserts were also good. I always love a good lava cake, and the ice cream provided a good balance to the otherwise rich cake. The sorbet was light and refreshing. They even brought the dessert out with a candle when I mentioned the birthday. When the check came, we asked where our boxed meals were, and the waiter was confused. It turns out our meals had been thrown away. We were both a bit sad but trying not to let it ruin our evening. The appetizers and desserts were much better than the actual entrees, and that helped ease the sting of losing most of our meal. We still gave the server a 20% tip, and the space itself was beautiful, but given the price point and our expectation for service, we were disappointed.

Lovely restaurant with an old school feel .Nice relaxed space, not your typical New York restaurant crowd. Mostly hotel guests and some locals. The food was good and the service was friendly.

Had a really nice dinner for restaurant week. The place is cozy and quiet, nice for having a conversation. Blood orange beet salad was so good. The roasted branzino and braised short ribs were really good too. Service was great throughout. Overall very nice

We enjoyed a lovely quiet meal in a beautiful setting. Each and every person was friendly, warm, and helpful. My husband enjoyed the"grumpy conquistador" cocktail, I had a lovely pinot grigio. We were in the mood for something different; I enjoyed the paneer pasanda very much. The chicken curry dish was well received by my Husband. We shared the pavlova, which was light and delicious. All in all an incredibly enjoyable dinner.

Overall, the food was great. The chicken was a bit dry and two other chicken's at my table were a bit dry and the server took quite a long time to give us our check despite several attempts to get his attention. Good selection of wines.

Really nice place for when you're feeling kinda fancy and in the mood to splurge. The service is excellent and very attentive. Wine list is also quite extensive so can't go wrong with that. I got the pasta which was amazing but my friends got the burger which looked FAB so I'd opt for that next time. Overall great experience!

Elegant, sophisticated, yet affordable. Freshest oysters. Absolutely amazing tuna tartare. Beautifully prepared fish. Good selection of wine (Miraval rose is the best). Attentive and knowledgable staff. And absolutely amazing green terrace outside. Feels quiet and private. My third time here and will come back

Located inside the famous Pierre Hotel the restaurant serves up some delicious food. We came for restaurant week and it was a delightful evening. Everything was amazing. The best dishes of the evening was thr Butter Poached Lobster and the Short Ribs. The Short Ribs were so tender that a knife was not needed. The Apple Tart was pretty amazing as well. Perrine always has a prix fixe menu so ita good value for dinner or lunch.

Came across this spot while looking over restaurant week menus, thought they looked exquisite so made a lunch Reservation for a Sunday at 2:15 PM. I was surprised to learn it was in the Pierre hotel(fancy). Upon arrival we were seated immediately. I will say service was a bit slow we didn't see a server for quite sometime to order even drinks, but we were with friends catching up so no problem. However I did get a little irritated after to wait yet again over 15 mins for our drinks when the restaurant was not busy. I asked one of the bussers to check on them and they arrived shortly after. Thank god. Who wants a brunch with out booze?! I opted for the Featured Cocktail Rosemary Old Fashion, was delightful(packed a punch)! For appetizer my friend and I shared the Winter Grains & Sprouts Salad along with the Grilled Shrimp Salad for a $9 up charge. The Shrimp Salad is a must, was so tasteful and fresh! For our main entree's we got the Spring Chicken and Roasted Salmon. The food was very tasteful and presentation was perfection. For this type of venue the service definitely could have been more attentive and on top of things. Otherwise great experience and I would recommend to a friend.

My best friend picked this place because of the beautiful decorations and because of my birthday , and OMG the service was EVERYTHING Julio our waiter recommended The best of the place and we took the advice, I recommend this place millions time, definitely coming back if you have a special occasion or even if not just go to Perrine you will love everything the best birthday present btw make sure you ask for JULIO he is the BEST

Such relax experience. Meet with a girlfriend for breakfast. We haven't seen each other for months. Food was great and pleasant experience with the service. Coffee and water was constantly refilled. Was not rushed by the waiters at all. Will definitely come back again

Hmmmm so what can I say about the Perrine? I had a great (3) course meal for a great price during restaurant week. I have to admit it would not have been a place I would have dared to go to but it was something different and new for me. The wait staff were very friendly and inviting which I know is a plus. You can not put a price on great customer service and hands down this place has mastered it. The location of the restaurant is in a very nice posh neighborhood in the upper east side of new York city right next to Central Park so after the meal you can take a stroll and walk off the delish desserts they have to offer. I had the grilled shrimp salad, spring Chicken and the delectable chocolate cake did I say yummy already :-). Everything was great very clean and the bathrooms were beautiful. They also had an area where it appears you can have social events like weddings and parties etc... I would definitely say give this place a try even if it seems over you pay grade this deal fit into my budget and was worth it :-).

We had christmas dinner with perrine and I have to say they did a great job. There are certain places in New York that harken back to a time before, the taj does that. The dining room is limited due to covid (they also have a lovely hand painted room which used to be used.) still, the dinning room is welcoming. Staff is classic New York friendly. The martini is one of the best around. And the food is great. We had the beat salad which was light and refreshing. The mushroom soup was good but could use a bit more depth of flavor. The lobster was unreal, perfectly poached with a divine sweet potato purée. The short rib dish had all the flavors you want but was a tad over cooked. The lamb was in the same realm. Still both were very tasty. The English pudding and apple tart were amazing! I will be back!

I am not a big fan of restaurant week, because I feel the kitchens usually try to cut corners on their menu... This is the first time I come to Perrine and I don't really know what to expect. The style of the restaurant is very classy and Upper East side... ( if you know what I mean . Hehe). Staffs are nice too But wait a minute.... you serve me Ribs and Fried Chicken ⁉⁉ I think I ll go somewhere else for that

Tbh I don't know how many stars to give. I dined here during French restaurant week and they offered 3 courses lunch for only $25. $25 is barely enough for a decent appetizer at any high end restaurant in this neighborhood. And the portion size was in no way compromised, they really want to feed you. Taste, unfortunately, was just average. Nothing memorable but it wasn't bad. Service was, to my surprise, pretty good, given the few the negative reviews on yelp. My water was filled constantly and plates were cleared very soon after I was done. They surely didn't come check on me every five min, but I received just the right amount of attention I needed and I got to have almost uninterrupted conversation with my friends. Overall for $25 it's a steal, but I probably won't be willing to pay the regular price.

My friend wanted to come here for dinner, so we came. The food was not amazing, but it was good, no complaints. The services there is very slow though, the servers do not come for a long time to take offers, the orders came about 45 minutes apart. No eye contacts, when picking up our silverwares(which were dull and dirty), he was throwing them into the plates making noises. I thought such careless performance should be be allowed in a French restaurant. I would have give 4 stars, but the services, tsk tsk tsk, that was a shame. Note to self, no more going to a restaurant within a hotel.

The Quick: Excellent lunch special for restaurant week! Fantastic service and extremely classy atmosphere (although a bit stuffy). The food was delicious we really enjoyed every bite. With a fixed menu and adorable price it's absolutely worth it.
