Order queso birria tacos and the tacos got no cheese and I asked for a ginger ale or Dr pepper you gave me orange soda I don’t even drink that this dumb ass taco truck made me waste $50 for nothing don’t order from here ever

Ordered on Uber. First of all they took forever to prepare the food, I had 2 delivery drivers cancel delivery because they were still preparing the food. The food arrived in 2 hours, less than 3 miles away. Second off I ordered 2 Peters Birria combo. It came with no consommé. 2 combos you are supposed to get 2 sodas I got 1 soda. The tacos themselves were just thrown in a tray with no care. The meat was extremely dry, like it was reheated, precooked meat thrown in a microwave. No flavor or seasoning. The meat in the taco was like 3 specs of dried meat. Not at all worth the money. This is the worst "birria" I ever had. Will never eat from here again.

Food was fresh and was ready in 5 minutes! Tortabirria was bland, Quesobirria was good but their consume was really good. Add the lime and 1/3 the red hot sauce to consume and thank me later! Dipping the Quesobirria into Consume (comes free with 3 quesobirria's!) with added hot sauce and lime was a home run for us. Just remember to ask for a spoon for consume (if you're into that sort of thing). They dont auto add spoons to bags with consume. They only do CASH or ZELLE. They offer outdoor seating. Staff is very friendly. Would definitely come back! Oh! They offer a side of chilled cucumber on the side which is very refreshing (and also very good dipped in the consume!)

After confronting them about the spoiled cucumbers they still tried to offer me food I told them was not good at all. The militias were extremely dry and seemed to be reheated many times. The Burria was just not tasty, threw it all out after two bites

They completely fell off, I don’t know if it’s different ownership now or if they have a totally different staff. The tacos used to be so filling crunchy and flavorful. The tacos I received were thin, not crispy at all and barley and meat and cheese. This will be the last time I will be buying from them. Such a huge disappointment!

This place used to be amazing circa 2020-2021... I don't know what happened. Quality has gone down, prices have gone up, and portions are smaller. Disappointing.

ive been coming to this place for years. not sure what happened but now its bad. every time i order uber eats, the order is wrong. i go all the way to this place to get them and look at how little beef they gave me. thats insane. so disappointed, im done trying

Quesobirria w/ consome - 8/10 The quesobirria was filled with meat and cheese. I wish it was slightly more flavorful but overall still pretty good. Their hot sauce was something else, I wish I had added more of it to my quesobirria. Tortabirria w/cosome - 8/10 I really wanted to try this cause it seemed interesting. While it still tasted as good as the quesobirria, I don't think I'm as big of a fan of the tortabirria because the bread gets too soggy from the consome. While it soaks up the consome better than tortilla, I'm not a huge fan of soggy bread. Not sure if the consome for this was different from the quesobirria, but this one tasted better.

Good tacos but the people who work on the truck are dumb and useless. Don't order via seamless because they don't know how that works. The people inside kept telling me they didn't have any orders even after they told Seamless that my order was completed and ready. I'd give them 1 star but finally the owner picked up the phone and agreed to refund me. But not after I wasted 45 minutes making 2 separate trips with no tacos to show for it. Fuck outta here wasting my time. Never coming back. Edit: The owner agreed to refund me but he never did, so I had to dispute it with my bank. Terrible customer service, basically fraud.

Peter's crunchy red tacos is a truck right next to the Jefferson L stop. (Great place to grab a snack before a show at Brooklyn Mirage.) I tried the tacos and consome combo ($12). Very tasty, though Birria Landia is definitely superior. They accept both cash and Zelle, which is convenient.

Hands down the best birria tacos! I definitely recommend the quesobirria dipped into consume which comes free with the quesobirria. Don't forget to add some hot sauce and lime juice on it. The staff is super friendly and the prices are decent ! Note that they only take cash or zelle so come prepare with cash ! There is outdoors seating also! My go to spot whenever I'm around the area !

2 different orders on a buy one get one. tacos were 65 percent fat and the consume was 60% grease. Absolutely disgusting will not be buying again.

This place was showing up in my instagram feed and I knew I had to eat here. Knowing nothing about birria but knowing its been a trend in NYC lately I had to stop by and get their Quesobirria. Tacos are amazing. Tacos with barrio that you could dip, even better. Although kinda messy to eat in your car, these tacos were delicious. The meat was flavorful along with the fresh veggies and cheese in the taco. Dunk all that and you got something even better. The cart is clean and the workers are alright. I got here pretty early so there wasn't much of a line either. Looking forward to get the torta next. Eat here!

We love taco trucks. We came here because I saw other people's picture of a crunchy red taco from here and had to try myself. I like when the guy we ordered from understood me when I said no cebollas, and there was none in my order. THANK YOU SO MUCH. It gave the experience of a crunchy yet held its shape taco. The meat itself is ok, but we got big pieces of meat which was very satisfying, and it just came off the hot grill so it was piping steam yet we couldn't wait to dig in and eat it with the consomé. The soup itself is flavorful and I had an urge to eat it with bread or rice.

I wanted to love this food truck because with Birria you just can't go wrong, but I was definitely not feeling their style of Birria nachos! I wanted Birria nachos so badly after reading about this food truck on Gothamist and I did not get what i expected! At first I had very high hopes but I got so so much cheese, very little nachos and very little Birria. I actually love cheese but if you're expecting authentic Mexican nachos, these are not it. These were like identical to theater nachos. Some may love that acquired taste but it's not for me. Service was great. Friendly workers, they respond to their DM's for ordering your food on their Instagram page and the menu on their truck is detailed and simple. I'll probably get a taco next time but the nachos is definitely not something I can recommend.

TLDR: Another birria spot if you're trying to avoid the lines at Birria-Landia. If you're unsure what to get - grab the combo. One of each! I was still hungry coming home from dinner in Brooklyn and thought - let me go grab some tacos. I had read about this place in the recent Eater article. I'm down to give everything a chance. I was deciding which item to get. Should I get the classic taco? The cheesy taco? Perhaps the mulita, basically a tortilla sandwich with cheese? My eyes looked at Peter's combo - done. One of each. The consommé was complimentary. There was no meat in the soup but to be honest, I didn't mind. I personally enjoy eating while alternating to sip the broth. The quesabirria was probably my favorite. A crispy thin tortilla shell, braised beef all cozied up between some cheese. It was the perfect dessert for the evening. Flavor was good, shell was crunchy enough. This does not travel very well though, like all things fried. Eat it at the tables they have outside or in your car. We'll be coming back.

Ordered it on uber eats so it might've lost its quality there but... These were just okay to me! Meat wasn't as tender as I had hoped. The consume was pretty bland and didn't have extra meat pieces like others do. It kinda felt like the food was sitting out all day and was quickly reheated. Portions were a bit sparse and the tortilla was a bit hard. I know it's supposed to be "crunchy" which I would've loved but it felt past that point. I think this is a good place if you're in the area and it'll do the job but not sure if I'd go there twice!

Birria, birria, birria!!! So delicious and it comes with consume. I ordered delivery and it was a great deal, my order was accurate and I was very pleased with what I ordered. Which was a buy one, get one (1 beef taco, 1 birria taco and a beef tostada). Delightful!

Peter's Crunchy Red Taco's - birria tacos and consommé. After, trying several birria spots I've come to the realization that while I enjoy the tacos (and these are fine,) I wish that they were a little more complex. I found the tacos themselves to be slightly bland but the consommé more than compensated. I'm really all about the consommé , and tacos/mulitas etc are a vessel for me to get to my main attraction the consommé. Spicy complex with meat bits. I ate two of the tacos at one of tables and took the remainder at the consommé home to finish. After I finished I was wishing I had picked up an extra broth to go. But I'll be back. It's a quick trip on the L train and they are right down the block.

Consome was bland and a bit salty ! The tacos were soggy and the meat was dry ! Never again !

The first time I ordered from them it was great. So decided too order from them again and was given the wrong stuff and the consomme tasted like some one poured water in it but it was late store was about to close so I was like ok I will give them a second chance. But today I ordered and was given the wrong order again and it's not like they have a huge menu they just seem to not be able to get it right at all and the soup was horrible it's like they have a new cook who just don't care. Wont be ordering feom them eva again i asked for nachos and this is what they sent tacos instead

There are no crunchy red anything here and watch the price we had tacos mulitas and Quesabirria 12.00 15.00 and 13.00 do the math because they will add extra money.I corrected them and he acted like he gave Me a break This neighborhood is now full of food trucks plus Artichoke Basilles pizza Hot sauce used to be scorching and delicious now it's meh and for all 3 orders they put it in one container Consommé comes with each order and it's flavor profile is salt. Yes salt with some beef flavor and beef fat. A touch of lemon( no limes here) The Birria seasoning is very complex yet this truck left the seasoning elsewhere. Meat is tender and juicy ( there's the only star they earned) Staff do not speak English anymore at all. He asked if I wanted Verde and he meant cucumber. There was one slice of cucumber in each order as well as the smallest piece of lemon I gave ever seen in my life( thank goodness we also ask for extra lime. Peter's is famous from social media for crunchy red tacos Nothing we order we're dipped in the consommé then grilled crispy. The mulitas were crispy and lathered in grease yes grease. These less grease in a deep fryer then on everything we ordered Tacos not crispy not red Same with Quesabirria Peter must have took the money and ran. Until we know it's back to normal we will not go back there. I'll stick to 116th street in Harlem

On my way to another place i spotted online, the truck appeared out of the blue with lots of parking and a single table and chair set. I knew I'd seen them here and there on IG, but being overshadowed by west coast birria posts and the more well-known vendors made it difficult to find them. There was virtually no line, walked right up and placed my order. The young guy suggested i get the quesabirria instead of the regular crunchy birria tacos and they did not disappoint! As soon as i decided, my order was underway! I think the guy cooking was the dad making the tacos to order. All I can say is 3 quesabirria hefty tacos with consomme for only $12? Yes, please. The delicious scent began to waft, because 2 or three guys popped and placed big orders. All three were Mexican and Central American. To me that the seal of approval i needed. My order was carefully packed and the guys politely waves goodbye. I hadn't eaten since the day before, so one taco had to get eaten immediately and let me tell you..... it was delicious! It made me think of the tender juicy birria I enjoyed in LA last year, and with the cheese and crunchy shell from the flat top oh so delicious. When I reached home, I reheated another one in the toaster oven, and it was even better! The lime, cucumbers and radishes were a great addition to the flavors. If you want a little spice, it comes with homemade hot sauce, I didn't need it at all. The flavors were there. I am not sure well this place isn't getting better reviews, it was pretty good. All I can say is I'm glad the other place i was looking for had moved, otherwise I would not have seen the truck at all. This was a crunch delicious detour. Thanks guys!

Dear Yelpers!!! Boy was I enamored when I found this place! First go around it was perfect and very crunchy! I got the quesobirria order. You can't order individual tacos it only comes in orders. Unfortunately each time I went it was a different experience, just kinda got worse and worse. The last time I couldn't hold my tongue. At $12 for 3 tacos and a consume soup, the birria meat was extremely dry, the cucumbers and limes that come with it were dry and the consume soup was full of grease and fat. So disappointed! If you go just know it's a legit truck on a corner and there are a couple tables on the sidewalk if you wanna sit. Hopefully you'll get what I had the first time! Roll that dice!

BEST BIRRIA TACOS! Have you ever craved something..gone out of your way to get it and was let down? Well, Not me..Not today! These tacos hit the spot! Street Parking is accessible, no long lines and the Queso Birria Tacos were excellent. Packed full of tender, juicy meat. Tortilla was nice and crispy.. complimented with an amazing consomme.. they can do no wrong. Don't forget your hot sauce which adds some heat and even more flavor! I will take more and better pics next visit..

Been here at least 6 times. Find the tacos here very satisfying. Usually no line. Tasty, generously portioned, and reasonably priced. For this type of food I'd only give 5 star for what I feel is the best of the best. This is quite good but not the best. Recommend getting takeout and bringing to KCBC, a nearby brewery with ample seating.

The man working the truck groped my breast as I was trying to order. Immediately left after, felt completely disrespected and invaded. I am so disgusted by what happened. Will never be coming back here.

there is nothing crunchy about these tacos. this can't be the same crunchy red tacos the foodies were going crazy about. the meat was extremely fatty and the tacos were basically soft tacos dipped in consome and that's about it, very underwhelming to say the least. there are other establishments with better birria tacos. these weren't it.

I went during the summer of 2021, the food was so delicious I order another more expensive $14 plat of large birria tacos to go. Made with love. I went again recently, zero love, ordered 2 sets of birria tacos, and they were absolutely horrible. No onions, cilantro, lime on the side, the consume didn't have it either and tasted bland. Also the guy on the flat top grill made in literally 5 minutes, no char or burnt edges indicating that the tortilla was heated and fully cooked to melt the cheese. He literally put meat and cheese warmed it up a little and folded it. It wasn't even cooked, it was WARMED up. I literally got 2 orders of a mediocre quesadilla and bland tomato soup, and paid $26 dollars. Each order should have came with 1 bowl of consume, I only got one. I asked where the other one was and he just yelled at me saying they didn't have enough. Plus I gave this guy a tip. WTF. So many better options on this street.

Some of the best tacos I've had in BK. Stumbled onto this place after a night out with friends and we were so glad we did. We went all out with the barría tacos and sauce; it was to die for. Tbh one of the top food moments I had in 2021. Would recommend to anyone willing to listen.

#I think this place is better than the other taco truck nearby for Birria Tacos. But also the second time I had Birria Tacos here, it wasn't as good as the first time. So I don't #know.

I will start off positively by saying I ordered my food on Cinco De Mayo and I'm sure that it is a crazy hectic day for most Mexican restaurants and that my order arrived promptly which was really surprising. The 2 stars are for fast delivery, and prompt service, even tho one of my orders was missing a drink. It was free so I can't get too upset over it. The food however...it was mediocre at best. I got Peter's combo and my taco had more beef fat than actual meat, some cheese and some onion. There was no cilantro, no tomatoes, no lettuce, no garnishes, which made the tacos kinda boring. The tacos and mulitas were super greasy! I know this isn't health food, but even then it is still overly greasy. The consome was watery af and very bland. I didn't even bother to finish the food because it just wasn't enjoyable. I ordered here because I Nene's Taqueria had a 3 hr wait and this place didn't. They also had a buy 1 get 1 free deal too. I now know why and won't be ordering again. I really don't want to be mean but I don't want anyone to make the mistake I did.

Don't use zelle I mistakenly sent $200 through zelle and person does not want to give it back. I called I spoke to gentleman he said he would have issue taken care of and suddenly doesn't answer me sends me to voicemail. Very dishonest business please be careful using card

Their birria tacos are available at Los Tres Potrillos in Queens and their truck in Brooklyn. I went to the one in Queens, and they were pretty good and well priced. Only the thing was that the consome was in a smaller bowl and I needed a bit more. I liked Quesabirria the most.

Delicious. Wanted more when done. The sauce and flavor brought a tear to my eye. I got the birria and dipping sauce. Delivery was hot. Great spot. Fast food.

Great timing. 4-2am... Let's be honest some of us has the munchies and now during covid everything be closed but this truck isn't. Way way in the boondocks but you can get you a chair, a beers, and a good taco. Sauce is good no cap. And meat is good too so tender. Tortillas amazing as well. And I'm very very emotional with my food so I don't play with my Food. But it's amazing he did that well they did that ‼‼‼

Made the mistake of Ordering via Grubhub... not only did they NOT deliver. They had the nerve to send me a message saying that it was delivered smh... no call , no nothing just didn't deliver at all.

I really wanted to like this taco truck because of the great reviews and instagram page, but let me tell you, my bf and I purchased $52 worth of tacos! and it was horrible; the birria tacos were extremely dry; the only good aspect of these birria tacos was the crunchy tortilla; otherwise, the meat lacked taste and was quite dry. Also, instead of meat, these tacos had more skin. We also ordered the Mulitas, which were really oily to eat; it seemed as if they put some oil on them and called them birria mulitas. It was a horrific experience!

I am not Mexican, nor I'm an expert on Birria tacos. I've only eaten Birria taco from BIRRIA-LANDIA and needless to say their tacos are simply the best. I was in Brooklyn and saw that Peter's Crunchy Tacos has Birria tacos so I was excited to give it a try. The tacos from Peter's food cart is nothing like the Birria tacos I've tried before (in a bad way). The tacos were blend and the consume ( that came with the taco combo order) had no meat in it. The customer service was even worst than the food. The man who was taking the order had given many customers the wrong orders. The wait wait time was 30-40 minute even with only ten people on line.

Had these twice so far first time the tacos were really crispy but today not so much, I'll give them another try as I'm local,

Peter's is my bírria jam. The mulitas are huge and dank. Everything is right. No wait. Service is perfect. They give you stickers. The block is chill and dank. La torta también está rica. Todo perfecto. Bravissimo Peter's!

I read a review on here and just like the author said each time I've gotten food from here the experience got worse and worse. When I go in person they'll PROBABLY listen when I say no fat on the birria but when you get them delivered just forget about it. I felt like they purposely put all that fatty birria in my taco just because I said no fat in the birria I even said pls. I've tried way better birria spots than this. Just go to birria landia trust

Very Good Birria tacos, each order comes with a side of consome, more then enough for a order, friendly staff, took about 15 mins to make 2 queso birria and a order of birria tacos, at the time I went around 2pm there were no Tortas available (main reason I went there) but the other dishes weren't bad. Also went I arrived there was only 1 other person on line so ordering was quick and easy.

If you like fatty meat, this is your spot. So good. I like the Peter's Combo - one taco, one quesabirria, one mulita (like a quesadilla with corn tortilla subbed in), plus a soda and some delicious consomme to dip your food into and finish off the meal. Incredible value.

these xapitalist goats will jack your overprivileged ass for a minimum order of three mulitas at fifteen bucks. and they're bland AF. where i come from, one mulita makes for a slightly unhealthy but exciting nightcap, at a sustainable price, $4-5. sure, stumbling hipsters and instafollowers will overcomsume the goat slaughter no questions asked. the question for you is: are you on board? right now i wish i hadn't boarded

The BEST birria tacos!! Ordered off DoorDash and the birria broth was so fresh, the birria tacos were absolutely perfect for the broth and it was a great serving size.

It was ok...the meat had no taste, no spice to it...just dry...it is filling...it's a regular taco shell with flavorless meat smh

No flavor at all. It was fresh tho. I also received the wrong order. I asked for queso. I received tacos without queso. I'll give them one more try. Hopefully it was just an off night.
