We had a wonderful dining experience at Petit Pomeroy early on a Saturday evening. The ambience is very French, the dining room comfortable (and not too loud - like too many restaurants these days), and the is service extremely accommodating. We aware that the restaurant is located on the 2nd floor, so you have a staircase to negotiate to get to the place. (There is an elevator I presume.) Fresh French Baguette is offered (although $5.00) and is warm, crusty, and wonderful. (The days of free bread is fast disappearing in mot restaurants, sadly). The drinks were excellent. The French Onion Soup is wonderful. Our table had the Risotto, the Poulet Cajun, and the Lobster Roll. All were quite good. The Poulet and Lobster Roll came with Frites. While the frites were traditionally French, they were too salty - our entire table agreed on this point. The wine list was decent, but not intimidating. Our waitress, Shannon, was wonderful and very attentive. Water was refilled quickly, and plates cleared promptly. Although a bit expensive, we can easiy recommend.
