"A collaboration between Damien Hirst and restaurateur Mark Hix, this restaurant, located in the artist's own Vauxhall gallery is—fittingly for Hirst—all about spectacle. Decked out in Hirst's trademark pills and pharmaceuticals everywhere from the seats to the walls, stained glass windows and bar, the interiors are basically one massive piece of art. Meanwhile, the food is exactly what you'd expect from Hix—solid, modern British and an excellent Sunday roast. Bring the kids, there's a menu designed especially for them, and they'll love the space. Recommended London Restaurants for the Bank Holiday Weekend | Eater London

"No longer basking in its early-2000s Cool Britannia hype, this Vauxhall restaurant still retains a striking Damien Hirst installation and a food ethos overseen by Mark Hix that feels forensic, simple and occasionally playful. Dishes lean toward classic, well-executed combinations — for example, potato gnocchi with Peter Hannan’s guanciale and wild garlic — and the menu flirts with modern touches like cockle popcorn. Weekend treats include “free-flowing champagne” at Saturday lunches for around £25, evoking a nostalgic gallery-restaurant glamour." - James Hansen

Check Out the Controversial Shark Art at the Palms’ New Lounge | Eater Vegas

"I noted that Hirst's most recent hospitality project prior to this was Pharmacy 2, the restaurant at his Newport Street Gallery in London in 2016." - Susan Stapleton

Hidden gem. A free gallery, unfortnately didn't have to time to view exhibition. But had coffee upstairs which was free, in this extraordinary cafe. The pharmacy. Definelty going back to spend more time.

I really liked the interior designed by Damien Hirst. When I have been visiting, no service was offered. Just a pot of free coffee and tea. But it was fine for me, so I had the cafe for myself.

I had this place on my list for a while. The food is ok, not as good as I was expecting. The best thing is actually their bottomless bloody Mary's which were great. Attentive service. Cool atmosphere. Location wise it's quite isolated.

Theme isn't only what this place is about. Sure. It's got a Pharmacy theme. It prompts lots of discussion as Damien Hirst has clearly either customised everything or come up with it from scratch - wallpaper, chairs, embroidered booth seats prescription bar, surgical instruments. Usually places like this depend on the theming to pull themselves through. This place has a unusual selection of bottomless bloody Marys and Bellinis. Also interestingly there is a section on the menu dedicated to Girolles based dishes. Some unusual egg based dishes for brunch also feature - the more run of the mill Canard and less run of the mill Legbar. Super tasty all around. Not badly priced for what it is. Go there.

Disappointing menu Appreciate the effort in decoration but the atmosphere is stressful and strange The place is also a bit hard to find Some of the items on the menu were tasty (fish)
