Phở Bắc Review - South Lake Union - Seattle - The Infatuation

"The South Lake Union location of Phở Bắc is super crowded at lunch—that’s because they make some of the best Vietnamese food in the city. But they’re open until 9pm and not as busy in the evening, so come for dinner instead after the midday chaos has died down. Slurp big bowls of phở and get a couple of bánh mì to share (the grilled pork’s the best)." - Aimee Rizzo

We came here for dinner as a party of 8. The food was not bad. But the service was HORRIBLE. The waitress spilled a whole plate of peanut sauce all over my dad. If you’re coming behind a customer with a dish, always make sure you get their attention. Thank goodness it wasn’t a hot bowl of pho that spilled on him. Not only that but the waitress didn’t even apologize! And at the end of the meal we went to pay, mentioned the incident… the owner proceeds to say ‘oh I didn’t know, I wish there was something I could do’ then proceeds to charge us 20% mandatory tip because we have a large party size. I understand the policy, but when your service was this crappy, I can’t believe you still had the audacity to do that. So disappointing. Never coming here again.

Google
One of my favorite restaurants in all of Seattle, I’m super thankful that they have a location in downtown. They have a speakeasy upstairs that opens late at night. The pho is very flavorful. It’s a self ordering system that you use your phone to scan a QR code to pay. Overall great spot and I highly recommend if you want to try pho Seattle.

I got takeout from this place, and went with the Pho Dac Biet, which was pho with a combination of a bunch of different cuts of meat Since it was takeout, the pho, meats, noodles, and other things (like bean sprouts) were each given in a separate container, and i found a bowl large enough and mixed everything together Starting with the broth, this was actually wonderful. It was pretty thin, but managed to maintain a richness to it that was quite nice. Additionally, it had that warmth to it that just makes you feel better inside. I feel like this would be a perfect place to get takeout from if you're sick, because it would be one of the few things you can eat that would make you feel way better afterwards. It was extremely well spiced and flavored as well All the different meats were also pretty good. While I don't think I can identify most of the ones individually, one of the ones I did - the meatballs - were very enjoyable, as they soaked up a lot of the broth and tasted great. I do think there could've been a little more meat, but out of what was there - I certainly liked it The noodles were fine - nothing too incredible - but they did their job and retained their softness well, even when some of the leftovers were refrigerated The portion size here was incredible - particularly the broth. There was so much broth I didn't even know what to do with. The amount of noodles provided was also very strong. his dish ended up lasting me two full meals, and at a price of $17, I believe is very justified Overall, I generally do not like pho, but this place has made an exception to that rule. 8.75/10

Google
Pho Bac is a Vietnamese restaurant known for fast service and delicious food. This location is a few blocks from Westlake so easy to get to, but parking here is not great so be ready to walk. Inside, they have a few dozen tables, with many of them being for 2 people. You can order at the table with the QR code or from the front area. Their menu is a good size, with their pho and banh mi sandwiches being the stars here. The staff are nice and quick with food with there being limited interactions with them. The price per portion is quite high, but it is downtown Seattle so it aligns with other local places. Overall a solid spot, especially for lunch.

Google
Excellent food with large portions for the beef rib pho. Pork ban mi was very moist and flavorful with a fresh baguette.

Google
major sanitary concerns. first meal in seattle, and i was disappointed… we got 4 pho… all of them tasted very bad. the broth was too salty. meats were tough. none of us finished our pho because it was basically inedible. part of my bad review concerns came from the dishes they gave. every single dish and utensil they gave was VERY dirty. the spoons and chopsticks given to us at the beginning had stains on them, and we had to clean them with lime. we asked for another spoon that was watery and stained. we asked for 2 small bowls so we could put some hoisin sauces in it and THE BOWLS HAD BROWN LIQUIDS IN BETWEEN… yeah never coming back.

Google
I don't know what happened to the rating, but the restaurant definitely deserves better than the current 3.9 stars. We visited at 8pm on Friday and waited about 15 minutes before being served. It definitely took longer than its another location, but pho still tasted amazing.

Google
This is my usual go to for pho, but I am severely disappointed with my order today. I ordered takeout - rare steak with tendon pho. When I got home, I was disappointed with the amount that was given. The noodles were half less than half of the box and the steak pieces looked like leftover. Very disappointed.

Yelp
We came here after 8, closer to closing, but the food was quickly served to us. It was cold outside and the warmth of the pho was exactly what we needed. The portion sizes here were too large for me, which is great. Prices were alright. If I'm in the area I'd strongly consider coming back again! I've heard the sandwiches are also really good.

Yelp
Nothing hits on a cold Seattle day like a warm bowl of Pho. This spot is walking distance from the Amazon Spheres and was recommended by an Amazon employee. We were also dining with someone who is gluten-free and it was great knowing that her dietary restrictions wouldn't be an issue here. You can seat yourself here and then scan the QR code where you can order and pay. So the only only interaction you have with the staff is when they give you your food / refill drinks. I like the QR ordering system because you can customize your order with more control. I got a pho with all of the fixings and added veggies to it- probably the best move. It was a $4 upcharge for some cabbage, broccoli, and carrots. We also ordered some of their shrimp spring rolls - I really liked the peanut sauce even though the spring rolls were pretty standard. Insider tip: they have a speakeasy upstairs Tuesday-Saturday from 5pm until close with vietnamese inspired cocktails!

Yelp
The beef rib pho is what keeps me coming Bac! Honestly, it's not the pho itself that gets me, but the beef rib. Although I like the Pho Bac in I-district because they have bun bo hue with beef rib, this one's closer to me, and sometimes I just want a clean fresh bowl of pho. This isn't the comfiest or nicest vibe place, so I wouldn't recommend this as a date spot, or even a place you'd like to have a nice chill convo at. And the service isn't anything special. Nothing I wouldn't expect from a typical vietnamese restaurant though (if you're looking for viet food & vibes, go to Ba Bar) Nevertheless, this place still deserves a 5 from me solely for their beef rib pho bowl. You don't need a billion good dishes to earn a regular, just 1 great one. 5 cause I always come bac

Yelp
My sister recommended this spot and I agree this is a must try! Keep in mind the parking can be a bit tricky. The parking lot is pretty limited. Love the vibe and decor of the place! I really fitted the culture. I ordered the steak pho and really good! soup is very unique and flavorful! And the serving size is very filling! I can't indicate what makes this soup unique and different but try it yourself and you'll see why!
google avatar

Jinhyung K.

Yelp
It was just okay. They didn't have the beef rib pho available when we went. Pho was just okay and it comes in one size. Highlight was the pork bahn mi which was pretty flavorful as I opted for extra mayo and veggies but the portions were relatively small. Service is pretty non existent.

Yelp
Pho Bac kept popping up in my search for the best pho in Seattle, and I quickly learned they're known for their Short Rib Pho, so I had to give it a try. When you walk in, you seat yourself and use a QR code to order and pay, which makes things quick and easy. The space itself is clean and pretty roomy. Since there's minimal interaction with the staff, it's perfect if you're just looking for a quick, no-fuss meal. Plus, the food came out super fast! As for the food, the Short Rib Pho was good, but a bit tricky to eat. They give you four short ribs in a medium-sized bowl, which doesn't leave much room for adding in extras like bean sprouts. The short ribs were tasty but not quite as tender as I expected--they weren't fall-off-the-bone, which made the whole dish feel a bit messier to eat than it should've been. The broth was solid, though I found it a little on the sweet side. Overall, Pho Bac is a great spot if you're looking for a quick, filling meal. Next time, I'll probably go for the regular pho to see how it compares!

Yelp
Reliable and consistent pho! Soothing and comforting on a cold rainy day. Lunch gets really busy and packed on weekdays because it's in SLU, but the line moves quickly. Order and pay directly and upfront by scanning the QR code. Menu is limited to spring rolls, 2-3 banh mis, and pho options. You'll have to go elsewhere if you're looking for rice or vermicelli noodle combos.

Yelp
Just flew in to town and we needed a light snack. Our driver took us to this place. Sort of unassuming from the road but very pleasing ambiance when you walk in. Clean and visually pleasing. Friendly staff and a good menu. We ordered tofu spring rolls with this wonderful peanut sauce. Next up was the rare beef pho and it didn't disappoint. Plenty of food in the regular size.

Yelp
This was soo freaking delicious ! And the location was bright and clean. When I go back to Seattle I'll try again!

Yelp
I left two stars because the food was good despite the male server bringing it to me with his thumb in my soup. I wanted to send it back and have them remake me another one, but he already gave us attitude when my 4 year old and I asked if they had a bathroom. The bathroom was so dirty! There was hella water on the ground. I had to have my toddler stand by the door where the only place that was dry and I had to pull down her pants and carry her onto the toilet. The utensils were dirty, but we cleaned them before we used it. There was also a dead bug on one of the soup spoons they gave us. The service sucked! They were super rude and kept forgetting to give us the Diet Coke my husband ordered. The way we pay sucked too. We had to pay and give tip first before they started making our food. We gave them a 20% tip which they did not deserve. They probably started this so people can tip them before finding out they do a shitty job. The waiter that had his thumb in my soup and long nails with dirt under his nails. This place should be reevaluated by the health department. We also say next to a bucket that they throw the leftover broth that the customers didn't finished. Even though the only thing we enjoyed was the food, I would recommend going somewhere else.

Yelp
Phantastic Pho-To-Go. Everything you need, ready fast, for around $15. Perfect! The restaurant had a nice vibe and the staff were super friendly. Next time I will dine-in to take advantage of the ambience!

Yelp
Nothing is better than a warm rich bowl of pho on a rainy cold day. The broth here is pretty good and has a rich beefy flavor that's complemented by the flavor of various warming spices like star anise and cinnamon. I like getting the mix of meats to try a little bit of everything, but sometimes I feel like they skimp on the meats a bit. Although I like pho, my true love is with banh mi. I love the crusty bread filled with flavorful meats and rich pate mayo contrasted by the freshness of pickles and cilantro. The banh mi here is always great with tender fatty meats which I love and even the meatball banh mi that I've never had before was amazing. The biggest downside to this place is that I feel like they're known for the beef rib pho, but they're simultaneously always out of it. I always come during dinner times around 6 and they never have beef ribs anymore so maybe they sell out during lunch.

Yelp
Great casual Vietnamese spot with cute modern decor! I tried this restaurant out on Thursday for lunch, arrived around 12:45pm and the place was busy. We put our name on the list in the front and we only had to wait 10-15m to be seated for a party of 3 and which was not bad at all for how busy it was. By the time we were finished eating at about 1:20pm, the place was clearing out and the lunch rush was coming to an end. To order, you scan a QR code and order on your phone. Pretty convenient. The pho didn't disappoint!! I got the Pho Bac Biet which came with a combo of meats. It was excellent, the broth was so good and perfectly seasoned. It really hit the spot!! And it came with a lot of meats too. Would definitely come back anytime I'm craving pho!

Yelp
Pho Bac serves some of the most flavorful pho in Seattle, with rich broth and fresh ingredients. The casual and welcoming vibe makes it an excellent choice for a hearty meal any day.
google avatar

Xichen J.

Yelp
This place has really gone downhill since I last visited two years ago. The prices have gone up while their quality headed the opposite direction. The biggest issue is that their broth for the pho no longer seems to be made fresh, but are instead made with concentrated power cubes, making them taste watery and bland. Service is virtually non-existent since everything including ordering and paying are done via QR code on a phone.
google avatar

Yelp
Terrific experience! The original pho folks in Seattle that started the pho boat restaurant experience on Jackson hit all the points at this new downtown location. Ordering was very simple, straight from the QR code. The broth was hot & full of flavor. The noodles perfect. The meats were tender & extremely tasty. Table condiments includes your very own steel water jug which is a very convenient touch. The team of 4 working were efficient, polite & professional. Great job Pho Bac!

Yelp
Pho is decent, but my experience with the service here has not been the best. First, they have signs that tells you to seat yourself, but there's also a waitlist so its confusing. So when someone tries to take a seat for themselves, they get yelled at to wait (they should just remove the sign). The second time, we walked in around 8:20pm, and they refused to seat us because they stop seating at 8:30, we said we'll eat quick but they still wouldn't budge. We ended up getting takeout, at least the pho tasted good. Considering that you don't even talk to the server to order (you order and pay through a QR code), the only experiences I've had with the workers here were not that great, hopefully they're two off occurences.
google avatar

Jackson S.

Yelp
Easy to order. Just walk in sit down and scan the QR code. Food came in less than 5 minutes. This place is great if you have multiple people and everyone needs to pay separately. Got the pho with all cuts and the broth was super flavorful. I was expecting more meat, so if you do come expect to pay the extra $$ for it   I decided not to get the beef ribs, maybe next time.
google avatar

Emily T.

Yelp
Came here for a quick weekday dinner and was craving pho. We came in a party of 2 on a Thursday night around 6:30pm and was seated right away. Staff is quick and efficient. They brought us water and you scan the QR code and pay online when you place the order. My husband and I both got pho. He got the one with everything in it and I got the pho tai (just the beef slices). The broth is very flavorful and portions are good. Overall, we left satisfied with our meal and will be back again when the next pho craving hits.
google avatar

Viswa N.

Yelp
Had the vegetarian Pho with fried egg add-on. Simple broth - expected a more complex flavor considering the "James beard nomination". Pleasant and understanding staff. Clean place and good Vietnamese music.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely horrible. Here's why: 1. Washroom was dirty, trash laying all over. It stunk. Totally disgusting. 2. Not a single staff came to seat or serve us. We were trying to figure out how to order. 3. They have zero knowledge about gluten. I have a serious gluten and dairy issue and their responses to my questions were rude and impolite. When I asked if their chilli sauce had gluten, a staff shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know. I asked if she could check and her response was 'No'. My husband felt annoyed and went to ask her again and she said 'I don't know. If you can't eat it then don't'. 4. Staff have very bad attitude. Irresponsible. Dirty restaurant. 5. Pho wasn't great. Chicken tasted old. Such a shame because my parents, who are visiting from England wanted some nice soup and we thought going here would be just the thing for them. BIG MISTAKE. Based on four of our experiences, we Do NOT RECOMMEND this place. Seattle has way better Pho places. Go somewhere that treats you well and they know what is being served to their customers.

Yelp
Stopped by cause a friend was in town and needed a quick bite by the office. Pho bac never dissapoints with big portions and tasty food. A big plus with me also since service is super quick since you order through QR code at the beginning so great for getting in and out. Upstairs theres a small little speakeasy with a nice vibe that we will definitely have to check out
google avatar

Whitney D.

Yelp
Great little casual Vietnamese restaurant. I ate here after a long day of conferences and networking on a cold and rainy evening, and it hit the spot. I got a chicken banh mi and split an order of tofu spring rolls with my friend. She got the vegetarian pho. It was enough food that we each had some leftovers to go. You seat yourself and order with a QR code from your table. I don't mind doing this, but some folks find it off-putting. (I did notice paper menus so I assume you can also order at the counter if you can't do it from your phone.) Our food came quickly and was flavorful and tasted fresh. There was an exciting-looking bar at the top of the staircase, which I didn't go into, but which looked like it might be a fun place for a cocktail. If you're looking for a solid Vietnamese spot in the downtown area, check it out.

Yelp
I can't tell you how excited I was for pho, as I love a good pho and had heard great things about Pho Bac. Originally I wanted to go to their location on Jackson St, but when I realized this location was within several minutes walking distance of our hotel (aka no need to look for parking or pay for an Uber), I decided to check out this location instead. It was pretty busy but there was luckily one open table so we didn't have to wait to be seated. There's a QR code and you have to order and pay from your phone. Like others mention, you have to prepay your tip before receiving any service. Usually I don't mind and I didn't at the time, but the service is usually fairly decent. I didn't care for the service here. I ordered the pho dac biet (beef pho with all cuts) and my boyfriend got the pho suon bo (beef rib pho). We also got a Vietnamese iced coffee to share as it was dinner time, and we really shouldn't have too much coffee at this point. The Vietnamese iced coffee was okay, nothing special- not great, but not bad. I'd get it again I suppose. Typical of most Vietnamese restaurants, after they receive our order, they bring out the herbs (basil, beansprouts, jalapeno, lime) before we get our pho. They gave us the saddest presentation of herbs I've ever seen. There were only a few sad sprigs of basil and a handful of beansprouts. Luckily my boyfriend doesn't add herbs to his pho but they wouldn't have known this. There was sriracha and hoisin sauce on the table, but no chili oil (I looked around and only ONE table had chili oil on their table). We also had no saucers to put the sauce. I asked the server for saucers for the sauce. She came back with just one, and we had to ask her for another one. My pho either had the tiniest pieces of tendon or none at all because I don't recall any. The noodles also weren't the best quality. The soup itself tasted alright but definitely nothing special. My boyfriend had ordered the beef rib pho but the meat tasted dry, and we had to ask for a knife cut off the meat from the bone. I think I was half done with my pho before he could even start eating. Overall, the beef rib pho is supposed to look super instagrammable and amazing, but due to the sad presentation, just looked like a lot of work (and it was). So I mentioned the service being mediocre, I will have to say they are VERY fast with clean up. They are very quick to notice when a customer leaves and very quick at clearing the dishes and wiping down the table to make space for the next customer. TMI warning: To make matters worse, we both felt sick (upset stomach) later that night and spent the night taking turns in the bathroom. Not saying for certain that it's from the pho (although the bf feels pretty confident that it was) but just to be safe and because we didn't enjoy our experience there at all, I won't be back.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch! Cute little spot. The pho was delicious. The music was nice not too loud. If you done in you seat yourself and scan a QR code. You can order food to go at the restaurant.
google avatar

Lindsey O.

Yelp
It's very good, but not as good as the original location (I believe it's on Jackson?). I believe the original location has the best pho I've ever had in my life (I have not yet been to Vietnam, so I'm sure this will change one day, but for now, the best is in Seattle). This one was very, very good, but it doesn't merit the 5 stars of the Jackson location. The ambiance is also a little bland and very plain. Quick, friendly service though. If you can't make it to the original spot, this is still a great bowl of pho.
google avatar

Beth R.

Yelp
Good basic pho. Takeout ordering was fast at lunchtime. Restaurant basic interior and was crowded with patrons.
google avatar

Yusuke S.

Yelp
Nice food! Tastes good! Broth and noodle is nice. Prawn pho had a garlic kick-in in broth. If you like garlic, it's really good to go! Beef rib pho had a huge beef rib as the photo shows. If you are hungry, it's really good to go! Order was nice too - you can just order online with credit card and foods come to your table. Server was nice too. It's a casual and hole-in-wall type of restaurant. If you look for the type of restaurant in downtown area, I highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Michaela T.

Yelp
Perfect lunch on a cold rainy Seattle day! The place is no frills but the Pho is fabulous. You order via QR code and the food is brought to you within minutes. The menu is more limited than other Vietnamese restaurants, focusing on Pho and a few Banh Mi. But it's quality not quantity that matters.
google avatar

Catherine G.

Yelp
I really enjoy coming here for lunch during work. I usually place an order to go and it's quickly available for pickup. I usually get the spring rolls and Bahn mi. If you are used to this company, this specific location has a much more limited menu, however not everything I get is sold at its other location. This place is extremely affordable for lunch. However it is always packed as well. If you arrive in person be prepared to wait, it is also very loud. The last few times their clover orders have not been available which has led me to eat out elsewhere. Look forward to coming back! Happy Eating!
google avatar

Steven T.

Yelp
I heard this place was serving the best pho in Seattle so I had to check it out. I got their Short Rib Pho that was served with three huge short ribs. The broth was nice and clean and had a nice beef flavor. The meat was soft and fall off the bone. Food came out very quick. Definitely a must visit spot for the Seattle cold.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the better pho restaurants in Seattle. Overall, prices are reasonable, pho portions are huge, and flavor is good! Food Ordered the pho tai. The portion was huge, so it felt like a good value to me. They provided a generous serving of beansprouts and herbs, which I really appreciate! I just wish they provided more meat. Service When you come in, you just find any open table and seat yourself. When I went, the staff immediately came to my table to provide water and eating utensils as soon as I sat down. They had QR codes at each table for people to scan, look at their menu, and order. Basically everything is done online. Food came out really quickly. Butterfingers me dropped my chopsticks on the ground, and the staff helped me quickly replace them! Ambiance Very casual spot. They usually blast Chinese or Korean songs.
google avatar

RJ L.

Yelp
Really pleased with the pho this visit. Got the pho with steak, brisket and meatball no noodles with veggies. I would definitely order that exact soup again. The spring rolls were very fresh. You order from the table with your phone. The food comes quickly.
google avatar

Mirabella M.

Yelp
I got the veggie pho and it was delicious. A large portion and was pretty tasty for a veggie pho. The fries were pretty basic but the mayo was delicious. I have a hard time distinguishing between phos so I would go if in the area. The ambiance was so cute in with a lot of natural light. The service was also really quick and got our food very fast.
google avatar

Jessica J.

Yelp
Quick service, delicious pho, perfect for a rainy Seattle night. Ordering online was a bit glitchy, but figured it out. Broth was really good and filling. I've been to the original location a few years back and glad to know they've expanded with a spot downtown.
google avatar

Wesley W.

Yelp
There's another pho bac that I got mixed up with and took my friends here instead. They use the same bowls though so maybe they're connected. Whatever the difference is, it's massive. This place is simply kinda not that good I'm not gonna lie. Bad. 2 stars

Yelp
Phố Bắc means "Original Pho of the North". Phố was created in the North. My wife is from Hanoi. I have spent a lot of time in Hanoi and had Hanoi Pho in many places. My wife makes the Best Hanoi Pho I know This pho is far from it. The beef was good. I will give them that. But the broth lacked character and was much too salty. And they use Southern Pho Noodles, not Northern. I could not finish my broth because of the high salt content. It was terrible. This is not good pho. Sorry.
google avatar

Stephanie W.

Yelp
Not much of a wait for Friday evening but as it got later, there were bigger crowds. You order through the QR code on the table and food will be brought out to you. The beef rib is a must try! It was $18 but so worth it. The beef rib was super tender. Broth was very delicious, a bit salty in my opinion but not too bad. We also got the Pho Bo with various meats and they were also all very soft and tender. Another must try item is the pho fat infused pork banh mi (Thit Nuong). Bread was super crispy and the meat was so flavorful and not dry. I did request for extra pate when ordering but we didn't get it. I still enjoyed it as it was and still crave it to this day! This place has really good food and great portion sizes. The best type of meal on a cold rainy night. I will definitely be back whenever I visit Seattle again.

Yelp
We always enjoy the food here. Especially the dry pho and the pho with broth. You really can't go wrong with any of it. So tasty and delicious. Service wise can be hit or miss, depending on the server and how busy things are. Sometimes it feels like they are itching for you to finish and leave. The restaurant itself is spacious and tables far enough apart to not feel too crowded despite how busy it can get.
google avatar

Anna L.

Yelp
The pho here is absolutely delicious and filling :) For $15 a bowl we felt super satisfied with the amount of food we got, and especially with how fast the food came out! The limeade was super refreshing and help cut the rich broth that was extremely flavorful. The service was nice and efficient as well.

Yelp
Summary: Broth flavor: MSG (?) Details: I'm not sure what it was about this most recent trip to Seattle, but we had a lot more disappointing eats than usual, compounded with the fact that many of them came back-to-back on the final day of our trip. This was capped off by a final meal at Pho Bac, as we were in the mood for some comforting, savory, soup noodles to offset all the sugar and rain we'd been experiencing. And, unfortunately, our pho dac biet and pho ga did not do it for us, mostly because the beef broth seemed to lack much flavor aside from the savory sweetness that I usually associate with MSG, and secondarily because the amount of meat we got seemed pretty scant for the price (compared to our go-to back at home in SF). Accessibility: The downstairs is pretty open and spacious, so accessibility isn't a huge issue. There's supposedly a pretty neat bar upstairs that is not accessible, but I've been told they're willing to bring drinks down to you if you don't mind the different vibe.

Yelp
On a cool, misty afternoon in Seattle, there is nothing better and a piping hot Pho soup. Conveniently located at the corner of Virginia St. and 7th Ave this smaller restaurant with approximately 8 tables and bar style seating gets busy. I arrived early for lunch and by the time I finished, all tables were occupied with a few people in line. I tried to order on the clover app as suggested by the QR code on the table but was not able to process the transaction. I was asked to pay for my order at the cash which was just as easy. I chose the beef brisket pho. The broth was hot and delicious, not overly salty or fatty. If you are craving Pho soup, Pho Bac hits the spot!

Yelp
If you're looking for a comforting and satisfying meal, look no further than this pho restaurant! As someone who loves to indulge in home-style comfort food while traveling, I couldn't resist stopping by this establishment for a solo lunch while wifey was at her work conference. The restaurant offers self-seating, which makes it perfect for those who prefer a more laid-back dining experience. Ordering is done through a convenient QR code system, which made the process quick and hassle-free. Although I was a bit disappointed not to see the beef rib pho on the menu, I was still thoroughly impressed by the range of options available. From classic beef and chicken pho to vegetarian options, there was something for everyone. The service was fast and efficient, and I was served my piping hot bowl of pho in no time. The broth was rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of spices and herbs. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the meat was tender and succulent.

Yelp
We happened by for lunch during the holiday week after finding other places closed. There are several things to like about Pho Bac and a few negatives. 10 -- Lg beef pho (with steak + brisket $14) excellent. Good quality meats. 5 - Ordering system. Very time consuming to sit at the table, get the menu on your phone, order your food and pay on your phone 3 - Service. Hard to track people down. Our sandwich never came. After finishing our pho we asked THREE separate times before they figured it out and made us a sandwich. They weren't busy and it was easily a 20 minute wait after we finished the pho. 6 -- Thit nuong sandwich $10 -- Light on dressing, didn't say it came with jalapeños, and wasn't worth the extra long wait 8 - Ambience. Light, airy, good amount of seating. Clean restrooms. We really enjoyed the pho so we would return again.

Yelp
I'm so happy that I finally found my favorite pho place! I've wanted to go here for a while and the occasion finally presented itself when my friend from New York was in town and staying near the restaurant. He already went by himself earlier in the day and hearing about it made me want to go as well so I made him go back to the restaurant with me. The broth is excellent and I couldn't stop myself from drinking it. Some places have a broth too sweet or too bland, but this was just right. I was too lazy to get to downtown but I'm pretty sure I'll come back for the pho and skip all other restaurants going forward. Also the restaurant is clean and has a nice stylish vibe, which makes it a nice hangout place.

Yelp
First off, the Vietnamese coffee is the best coffee I've ever had. I usually avoid it because it's too sweet, but it was the right mixture of sweet and coffee. The pho was also great, a lot of variety of meat. Spring roll was kind of disappointing, but can't complain. Banh mi was standard. Ube cheese cake was kind of sweet. The price point is amazing across all of the food options. It was kind of confusing how to sit myself because I thought it was order and sit, but if you're eating in, you seat yourself rather than going to the counter. It was really busy, and the staff forgot about my cake for a long time, but everything else was great.

Yelp
I'm not sure what the hype is with Pho Bac, and I'm quite disappointed as I've heard and read so many great reviews for this place. This is the first and the last time I will be eating here.

Yelp
I'm a Vietnamese tourist. OMG this pho is 10/10, this is seriously one of the best bowls of pho I've ever had. This spot is a must try when you come to Seattle. Very cute on the inside with fast and helpful staff to match. It was a great experience and if I'm ever back in Seattle I will be back! For all the Seattle locals, consider yourself lucky!
