"The first expansion for Chinatown's Pho Kim Long taking over the 4,078-square-foot, former I Love Burgers space." - Bradley Martin

Pho Kim Long heads to Town Square from Chinatown - Eater Vegas

"Pho Kim Long promises to be 'coming soon' at the corner spot, creating a 'kitchen and bar' next door to the Baobab Cafe and short distance from Yard House and recently opened Big Whiskey’s American Bar & Grill. The Vietnamese restaurant has been a fixture at the Center at Spring Mountain retail hub since 2007, located a few doors down from Lee’s Sandwiches. While the Town Square expansion is not expected to match the 24/7 hours of the original, the new site will alleviate the parking issues often found on Spring Mountain Road. On the large, multi-page menu, a series of 'sizzling clay pot' dishes, including curry, squid, catfish, or shrimp; vermicelli choices; noodle soups; porridge; a full roster of seafood, beef, and pork; plus the namesake pho soups, including 'rare' and 'tender' steak ingredients, brisket, 'beef ball,' and vegan alternatives." - Bradley Martin

It was next to my hotel, so I walked over to have dinner. The food was good. It wasn’t impressive but okay. The Being Beef was really good. I should have maybe ordered it with some spice. The spring rolls were not traditional with the Thai Basil, mint, or bean sprouts. The crab Rangoon was okay. Viet iced was also good. I would definitely return.

Google
I had a blast at pho Kim long. The portobello fries and the calamari was fried to perfection. The pad see ew that I had was delicious as well. It had so much flavor without each spice/flavor overpowering each other. The restaurant atmosphere was also great. It had a very modern aesthetic style while keeping an Asian theme. The service was great as well. Our server made sure that our food came out the way we wanted and made sure no mistakes were made.

The food at this restaurant is truly exceptional! I adore the lively atmosphere and the thoughtfully designed layout. My fiancé and I visited on a Saturday night around 9 PM and were pleasantly surprised by how quickly we were seated. We chose to sit at the bar, where the ambiance was appealing, although the bartender's service could have been a bit more engaging. At times, it felt as though we were being closely monitored rather than enjoying a relaxed dining experience. That said, the dishes we sampled were outstanding! The honey walnut shrimp and orange chicken were both a delightful 10/10! 🔥

I arrived around noon on a Monday and there was no wait for a table. It's nice and upscale inside was unexpected but in a good way. Service was attentive and courteous. I ordered the crab and shrimp tapioca noodle soup. It was such a delight! The broth was delicious and had some body. The shrimp were cooked just right. The crab meat disappeared into the broth when I mixed it but I didn't mind. The noodles were thick and had a nice bounce. I look forward to coming back to try their pho and other items on the menu.

Google
Location was quite hard to find using google maps but once we were there, it was quite tasty pho. Coming to Vegas we weren't expecting to get much authentic Asian food but im so glad we found this place. The restaurant was nice, we went at noon on a wednesday and it was basically empty, and the pho came in large portions. It was missing the tripe i usually like in pho but i was still a solid bowl It did take a while for the servers to notice us and bring our check though so 4 stars for service

Google
I ordered the Vermicelli Salad and a Spring Fling Mocktail. I liked how you were allowed to order two types of protein for the Vermicelli Salad. The noodles were a bit overcooked, but overall the toppings were good. The Spring Fling Mocktail contains strawberry syrup, muddled strawberries, Thai Basil, lemon juice and club soda. The sweetness is very balanced and overall a great refreshing drink to enjoy during the hot summers in Vegas.

Google
Food was delicious. Stopped by with my friend for lunch, were seated quickly upon entering and serviced almost immediately. As someone who decided to try pho for the first time, it was delicious. I ordered the Beef Pho, my friend had the Chicken pho. Broth was perfect, meat was great, noodles were good for my liking. Service was good with waiters coming around to refill water glasses when necessary. My only complaint would be that it took a while to get the check. Besides that it was a great place, highly recommend the Blushing Dragon mocktail if you like raspberry and citrus.

I have eaten at this restaurant at least 7-8 times in the past 4 years. I have raved about it to my friends and family. Initially, the food and service were always outstanding and I was always looking forward to eating at this restaurant. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was so disappointing that I am reconsidering my endorsement. I went to this restaurant on a Tuesday morning at 11:30am for a work meeting with an Owner of a Small Business in Las Vegas. I arrived alone and waited about 1 minute until a very tall attractive Asian man approached and asked me where I wanted to sit. I chose the booths in the rear and advised him that I was meeting someone there. That is the only communication I had with the waiter except for placing my order. I sat down and waited for my appointment to arrive. I am seated at 11:32am. I noticed that the waiter was not paying me any attention. I am checking my phone and he brings two glasses of water and sets them down at the opposite end of the table. I say thank you, he says nothing and walks away. He doesn’t hand me a menu - he leaves them stacked up at the end of the table by the water and walks away. I noticed that there was only 4 other tables in use. I go to restaurants all the time and this was clearly unprofessional customer service. He clearly had some sort of issue by the extremely unprofessional way he acted. My guest arrived at 11:42. The waiter does not come to the table after my guest has arrived so I have to flag him down to take our order. Our order was taken 11:49 - that was the last time he spoke and he never returned until it was time for the check. In between the arrival of the meal and my request for the check, we were waited on by a very kind waitress who happened to ask if we needed anything. Unfortunately, our food was super mediocre which was the disappointing cherry on top. I am not one to judge why someone acts with bad behavior and I am not sure what the guy’s issue was with me but I am sure he is not doing the restaurant any favors with his very unfriendly customer service. Our bill was presented at 12:25 - the Asian waiter never said anything at all to us.. nothing like thank you for coming or it was a pleasure to have you or enjoy your day… Nothing. I hope that he reads this and recognizes that this is unacceptable customer service. Not sure if I am still a fan…

Yelp
We came here on 4th of July night after fireworks and it hit the spot. I ordered the combination beef pho. The portion was really big but there was too much tendon for me. I like tendon but there was more tendon than other cuts of beef in there. The broth could've been a little more flavorful but it was still tasty. Service was nice and they took a little bit to place our order. The food did come out in about 10 min. All of our soups were very hot and we had to let it cool before eating it.

Yelp
I'm gonna start off by saying we ordered through grubhub. I got the roasted cornish hen & seasoned rice.. Honestly, I didn't know what I was expecting but it wasn't whatever this taste is-- nothing. it came with the usual sweet vinegar sauce and in my opinion, it just doesn't belong together. It's to the point i'm disappointed, I lost my appetite (also my mistake for thinking it was gonna be crispy fried when it literally says right there-- roasted lol) I know sometimes the food quality varies depending on location, so I'd say with this one that's probably the case? I hope? cus I've tried Chinatown location both dine in and through delivery, and it's good. It could also just be that this item on the menu is just a flop (this is what I get for wanting to try something different this time I guess lol) but I guessss I'll give a point for the rice cus that one ATLEAST is good But yknow if u wanna give it a try, go ahead if u don't mind bland.

Yelp
Had ordered the combination pho and it was very good. The venue is very nice and classy. Great drinks and food. The service was amazing too. The price was reasonable and the menu had great options.

Yelp
This place has been my favorite pho spot in Vegas for a long time. This location is newer and located in Town square while the OG spot which is 24/7 is located in Chinatown. The indoor dining was nice but smaller than their other location. We came after the lunch rush so even with a big group we were seated right away. You can order anything off the menu and I can guarantee you it will be good. All of their appetizers are delicious but my favorites are the salt & pepper chicken wings or pork chop. Their pho is the perfect hangover cure. I get mine with brisket and tendon. The prices are affordable & you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Spring Rolls were 5+/5: ask for extra peanut sauce. The Pad See Ew had a nice garlic-soy base with a hint of sweetness - huge portion. My $7 Happy Hour 805 Blonde on tap helped me to wash it all down. Great service.

Yelp
My friend and I had came here for dinner one night after volunteering because her husband wanted to check out a shop nearby. This location is located on the northwest corner of Town Square, across from Yardhouse. Unlike the Chinatown location thats open from 8:00 AM - 2:30 AM, this one is open from 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM. Upon entering, this location is WAY nicer than the Chinatown location. There is a decent sized glass-walled wine storage by the entrance and a large backlit counter bar area that takes maybe 1/3 of the restaurants space. Despite that, the restaurant was SURPRISINGLY empty. With 2 other parties present when we arrived but soon had left by the time we got our food. While my friend and I had both ordered BUN BO HUE (Spicy Beef? Noodle Soup), her husband got a PHO TAI (rare steak). Unsure why is everyone changing the BUN BO HUE to only beef. It's supposed to be beef and pork. Sad there wasn't pig feet. Flavor of the broth was a bit plain as well. They DO give you a side of chili paste which was nice. Service was ok. Kept my water filled lol. Never really been a fan of PKL luckily.

Yelp
Our first stop in Las Vegas was the Asian neighborhood, west of Las Vegas strip. We wanted to try Vietnamese food here to see how good it is and came across this restaurant that has the most reviews, so we thought it would be a good and safe choice. But, we were very disappointed. The place was a little crowded when we arrived, and definitely got worse when we finished our food. Food is quite expensive here for a small portion. Quality and taste of food is meh, nothing outstanding. So overall, we didn't think it was worth the money.

Yelp
modern and non traditional ambiance, clean and quick service with a smile . Food was hot, but it came out so fast that it was obviously sitting there and reheated for serving, which isnt a crime i guess‍....No options on the thai tea- sweetness or non dairy . I was all excited about beef *see ew* based on their yelp pictures, but this is what it actually looked like. Pretty heavy on the sauce and beef and boodles with hardly any green veg like in their picture, which u fortunately is my favorite part.

Yelp
Not bad, not great... If you're looking for Vietnamese in a pinch and you need something close to the airport... The staff was friendly

Yelp
Had a layover in Vegas that just long enough for a late lunch with my daughter who lives there. We've been to their original location in Chinatown several times and it's amazing. She took me to the Town Square location since it's newer and closer to her home. We were seated immediately as they weren't busy. Service was good and food came out quickly. The food was average and portions were not very generous. I have to say that the original location is waaaay better!
google avatar

Yelp
This is definitely the best location out of the 2 they have in the city hands down! I always order the "Lobster Noodles" which NEVER disappoints. It is a big lobster too! Slightly on the pricey side but definitely so yummy, never disappoints! I love coming here in the evenings as it's such a vibe, people just casually having drinks at the bar and it is not as crowded as during the day time which i like! The service is always amazing and i will be back -:)
google avatar

Yelp
Pho here is AMAZING but the spring rolls . Not so good. I am a big fan of shrimp and pork spring rolls but I've came here a few times and theirs are way too chewy. I think they wet the paper too much & don't roll it tight enough. The pho is great though & doesn't need many additions!

Yelp
I used to love Pho Kim Long for decades I have eaten at the Chinatown location. Over the years the quality has gone down, service followed but we still went. This is my first time at the new "modern" location. Well location Pho Bo Viên is watered down. It's sad because I love supporting good places l, family owned but the Long family for a long time forgot their culture but not the money.

Alyssa R.

Yelp
My friend and I ordered the vermicelli salad and spring rolls. It was so good! The beef was seasoned so well and tasted amazing. The spring rolls were delicious as well as the peanut sauce. The staff were super nice and attentive the entire time! It was a nice restaurant and wasn't busy at all. I would go here again!

Tony V.

Yelp
We order a few family dishes to share and every dish was shockingly horrible. We always go here to eat but for some reason the sweet and sour catfish soup wasn't a bit sour . The rau muon xao was hard to shallow. It tasted like it was spoiled. The baby clams wasn't favorable but a bit salty. It's like the restaurant changed owner or something.
google avatar

Joe P.

Yelp
It was our first time here, we usually go to the Chinatown location. It was more quieter and calm. Lol. It was a great experience. Taylor and Kevin were awesome. The food is the same quality as the Chinatown location but less crowded. The place itself is nice and trendy. We will go back again.

Yelp
We have been going to this restaurant for a long time. At this location there is usually no wait. The restaurant is clean, the staff is on point. The music and vibe is always rocking!! We had the combination pho, chicken wings and fresh spring rolls. Sorry no pictures due to the food being so good that I forget to take any photos.
google avatar

Erika R.

Yelp
Love coming here. Compared to the other location this one is quite and no wait ! It's just better!
google avatar

Yelp
Broth was super flavorful but the meat quality was just ok, pretty dry and tough. The small bowl still has a good amount of food. Servers were nice and quick!

Yelp
I use to go to Pho Kim Long in Chinatown (Spring Mountain) often so I was very excited to see they opened up a new location in Townsquare. The girls and I were craving pho for our girls night dinner and chose this location since the Chinatown's parking is always madness. First off- the ambience was such a better vibe for a girls dinner compared to the 1st location. They have a full bar and it's definitely a more modern style. We came for Happy Hour on a Friday night and they were surprising slow - the rush started to come in after 6pm (once happy hour ended). Happy Hour is everyday from 3PM-6PM & 9pm-Closing. The service was great - our server was Mann and he made sure to constantly check on us and made sure to take care of us if we needed anything. As for the food- I will say the Pho was not their best dish (hence why I removed 1 star) but everything else we ordered was delicious. We started off with the Salt + Pepper Chicken Wings and Cream Cheese Rangoons. We loved the chicken wings so much we placed an order for to-go - I will say, the to-go order was not as good as when it freshly came out at dine-in. Now for the pho, I ordered the rare steak + brisket pho (large) - the portion size was good but the broth lacked a bit of flavor IMO. The pho was missing something and just did not taste the same as the Chinatown location from what I remembered so maybe they just had an off day but I'd be willing to come back and try it again. I also ordered chicken fried rice and salt + pepper pork chop for to-go and no complaints there.

Yelp
A pho place that closes late. I got the combination pho and it was good. Nothing special but it was good. If im craving pho in vegas ill go to this spot. Tons of parking.
google avatar

Jade B.

Yelp
Soooo mediocre!!!! The Kim long in Chinatown is muuuchhhh better. Everything lacked flavor here like they're a new staff of cooks. I got the vermicelli and it was dry and bland. Pho broth was just ok too. Everyone go to LETS GET PHO it's the best pho like ever ever. I'm not Vietnamese so idk why it's so good there but it's to die for. Anyway.. pho Kim long in Chinatown is better than here don't waste your time
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner with a couple friends last week. It's a little hard to find but if you park in the north garage and walk south, you will walk right by it. Really good Pho, none of us could finish our bowels. Really good broth, and lots of meat. Most of all I really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. In a town of noise and excitement, it's nice to find a place where you can quietly enjoy a bowl of Pho. The staff was very friendly and seemed to promote the quiet relaxed atmosphere where you can take your time visiting with friends while enjoying a healthy meal.

Yelp
Super cute restaurant. Very trendy looking and staff was nice. We came in as a group of 4 and sat down right away around 730pm. We ordered pho Bo spring rolls and crab Rangoons. We would come back! Only weird part was getting our meals at different times vs all at once. :)
google avatar

Jason A.

Yelp
Amazing food with great service! This soup has supernatural healing powers. Please come try!
google avatar

Wes R.

Yelp
The rating is for the food. The specialty noodles were very misleading and felt like It was made by somebody who doesn't understand how those dishes are made. I wouldn't come here if you were expecting to get your normal viet food. We got a bun bo hue and a hu tieu. The bun bo hue was really just a pho with brisket chunks and bits of tendon. No pork knuckle, sausage loaf or blood cubes. The spice was put on the side as an after thought for you to add it. Also barely any veg to top it off. Hu Tieu came with no veg toppings and lack a developed seafood flavor You got tiny bits of crab, 2 over cooked shrimp and 3/4 of a fish cake cut into strips.

Tyra N.

Yelp
I hate leaving bad reviews. The last one I wrote was a while ago, but I feel like I needed to be honest. Not gonna bore you with why we decided to go here, but it was a complete disappointment. I'm Vietnamese and I've never had Vietnamese food so underwhelming and inauthentic before this. If you do end up coming here, just make sure you order a Chinese or Thai dish because those are at least decent. Yes, it's a Vietnamese restaurant with other Asian cuisines on the menu. Should've been the first red flag lol. For a place that looks upscale with an overpriced menu, you would also think service would be better. It wasn't slow but the servers seemed miserable like they didn't want to be there. Turns out I didn't either.
google avatar

Yelp
After arriving last night, whenever I can't figure a place to go eat at, I will go straight to this restaurant because they are opened 24/7 and I love vietnamese food. Maybe because it was late Wednesday night and there was no waiting list line. Normally, they always have a pho kim long popular lines lol

Samnang S.

Yelp
Service sucks but yet they automatically add 18% gratuity. Somebody confused the tap water is bottled sparking Italian water. Pho sucks. First Pho shop where the pho came out last. It was also luke warm. Decor looks like a place that is a bar identifying as a Pho shop. 18% gratuity and sneakily requesting more tip? Ridiculous. Recently moved to Vegas. Kids like Pho Kim Long on Spring Mountain. Gave this place a try as it's closer to home but NEVER again. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. But if you do decide to go double check your receipt for already included gratuity. As a bar place might be OK. As a vietnamese resturant maybe ok. But as a Pho shop place sucks.

Yelp
Went in on Sunday lunch and wasnt too busy. The restaurant feels a bit upscale. Service was very fast. We got the beef pho, fresh spring roll and thai tea. Really good and comforting food!

Michael D.

Yelp
Service is the best, ambiance good, foods are OK. Maybe come back for pho next time , beef stew not too tasty, bún ga nuong's very big portions, nước mắm not enough and more vinegar than before.

The Inferior G.

Yelp
I ordered threw uber eats. The food was hot and delicious I got the beef pho with extra noodles. With the raw steak brisket and steamed bean sprouts. The entire meal was delicious fresh and not to heavy on the tummy. Definitely will be ordering again as it was easy to put together and enjoy. I appreciated that everything was separated. Good quality food.
google avatar

Jasmine R.

Yelp
It hurts to write a bad review of pho Kim long. I love this restaurant I've had 2 good experiences with pho Kim long and 1 horrible one. But the bad was bad. I basically got a bowl with a hidden cut of inedible cartilage that was potentially dangerous. Mid chewing on the cartilage I realized there was no way I could swallow the cut without choking so I ended up pulling the meat out of my mouth. It was literally like 5 inches long. Although my appetite was ruined and I was so embarrassed after pulling out 5 inches worth of chewed up meat from my mouth I left a 3 star rating because of my previously really good experiences.

Ab B.

Yelp
Pho beef was delicious, the small was just enough. Should go will a large bowl to fill you up.
google avatar

Keni Z.

Yelp
This food was $70 for watered down Pho, the meat tasted very cowy if that makes sense, super pungent. No one even finished it, what a joke. Very mediocre food. No one go here unless you want to eat the worst Pho in Vegas.
google avatar

Alessandra G.

Yelp
The pho broth was very good, but the pieces of meat are not very strong, meaning they break off and there was lots of chunks of meat rather than nice slices. They do not put a lot of noodles and I ran out of noodles way before broth. Pretty decent pho bowl.
google avatar

Gina L.

Yelp
For starters. I really like the ambience. However your pho is extremely terrible. The broth has zero flavor. Just trashy and shockingly tasteless.! I can't believe the audacity for you guys to serve that with a smile on y'all faces. I feel cheated honestly.Do better seriously!!!
google avatar

Troy T.

Yelp
Last minute meet up with a friend led us here. The food was so delicious and reasonably priced. We both had margaritas as well and they were perfect.
google avatar

Nani G.

Yelp
Out of both locations, this place is the worse. The pho has no flavor and the sauce options feel cheep. The cajun fries had no seasoning and I don't think I would ever give this location a second try.
google avatar

Debbie L.

Yelp
Was surprised by this Vietnamese restaurant tucked away near the stores. It was gorgeous inside, I loved the bar set up and the wine case. The spicy beef noodle was so much better than I was expecting! Lots of lemongrass flavor and a nice kick. It didn't have much fish sauce flavor as others I've tried if you're sensitive to that. My fiancé enjoyed his shaking beef and my MIL liked her pho. Their cocktails and mocktails were great too! Service was prompt and polite. I will definitely be back.
google avatar

Brian G.

Yelp
Place is nice and clean, the food is top notch and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend this spot to my friends.
google avatar

Linda S.

Yelp
Pretty underwhelming and overpriced for what it is. I tried to call earlier this week twice to place a lunch order for pickup and the phone number was either busy or out of service. A day or two later, I decided I would stop by for a quick, comforting lunch with a coffee to go. I've been to the Pho Kim Long location in Chinatown many times, and it's always busy and fast. Maybe I expected too much of this Town Square location as it's probably not the same management as the one in Chinatown or maybe because my last bowl of pho was just too spot-on in comparison. Either way, I was underwhelmed, this place misses the mark. It wasn't super busy here, but maybe there should be some kind of lunch special to boost their quiet and empty lunch hour. There is a dollar difference in small and large size pho bowls and I'd say neither is worth it. The pho broth was lacking depth. Basil, sprouts, jalapeño slices and a single slice of lemon were served on the side. Even after I mixed it all in, it was still lacking freshness. I also ordered a Vietnamese coffee to go and paid $8 for 10oz. It was tiny and didn't seem to have the kick I was looking for in terms of strength, though it was pretty sweet as expected. Kind of odd experience for the price you pay here. Everything tastes watered down. It was also a weird vibe. A minute after I sat down, there was another party who were seated close by but immediately disgruntled they were seated close to the restroom when it was slow and empty. After they were reseated, they got up to leave and complain to the manager and I had a VIP seat to whole exchange. Probably won't come here again unless I consider coming back to check out the happy hour specials, but will keep my expectations fairly low for the next time.
google avatar

Francine L.

Yelp
This Pho Kim Long looks newer than the other one and looks more modern on the inside. The pho bowls come with the bean sprouts and basil actually on your plate on the side which was nice. Chicken wings tasted pretty nice with a hint of spice. Stir-fried noodles with beef were a little bit too salty. But this was a decent dinner after watching a movie. Service at this place was a little bit on the slower side and had to keep asking the server to bring water. But if you want some Vietnamese food this is still nice.
google avatar

Abby G.

Yelp
This place use to be good like 7-10 years ago. I haven't gone since before Covid so I decided to give this place a try because it's open late. The pho was ok. I didn't enjoy the meat quality. I also tried the pork chop plate, it was okay too. The pork chop didn't have too much seasoning. I usually always order spring rolls but their spring rolls was not great. It would come apart and the meat quality that they used in the rolls tasted gross. The crab rangoons were good but they were so tiny. Service was pretty quick and we got sat down after like 10 minutes of waiting.
google avatar

Rain Bow T.

Yelp
They really deserve one star, but the cleanliness and ambiance save their bacon. The food quality is so poor and $18 for vegetarian pho???? I am not quite sure how they stay in business. The other location on Spring Mountain is 10x better. Staff are friendly enough, but also not that attentive. The place was empty both times I was there and I really like the location of this place so I gave it two tries. Probably will not be going back. My husband also had the chicken pho and was equally disappointed. Our spring roll was all noodle, and one piece of shrimp cut in half. Again all fine, but you can't charge people so much for low quality food. This town has so many better options.

Yelp
Stop by here because my friend wanted to dine here. Nice size restaurant and a lot of food selections. My friends both had the Pho Tai which is the beef pho. I had the salt & pepper pork chops and a bowl of beef pho broth. That was delcious. The pork chop were small pieces and very thin. Being thin is ok with me. The flavor was ok..I wish it had more salt or flavor. Overall, I'd return again when I'm at the Town Square Mall.

Yelp
Love coming to this location more than the other because 1. Parking 2. Less waiting time 3. Cleaner We come here at least a few times a year. We've had huge family party dinners, I've had business lunches here, and just a normal dine in with my little fam of 5. We always leave with happy bellies and not once did I ever feel unsatisfied with service. So to me this place is a place we will always return to. Even though I'm closer to the SM location, I still always prefer coming to this location. Food quality is the same in both so with all that I've listed above it's definitely my go to between the two locations. See you mid February again! lol
