I had the pleasure of dining at this Vietnamese restaurant and was very impressed with both the food and the service! 🍽️ Food: • The fried rice with roasted chicken and egg was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and came with fresh veggies. The chicken had a crispy skin and juicy meat—so satisfying. • The vermicelli bowl with spring rolls and grilled meat was fresh, crunchy, and well-balanced. The textures of the crispy rolls and tender meat on top of the noodles were on point. • And the appetizer platter was a great way to sample a variety: fresh spring rolls, crunchy fried egg rolls, and crispy mini rolls—each with its own dipping sauce that really hit the spot. 👨‍🍳 Service: Service was friendly, fast, and attentive. The staff made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Our food came out hot and fresh, and they were happy to answer menu questions. 💵 Prices: Very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. You get a lot of food for the price, which is always a win. Appetizers were fairly priced, and the entrees were worth every penny. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese flavors with generous portions, this spot is a must-try. Will definitely be back!

Google
Stumbled on this restaurant by accident and found it to be very lovely. Not too big of a restaurant but the service is quick and a decent size. Ordered the Super bowl mix which consisted of a meatballs, brisket, tripe, meatballs, and the biggest beef short rib in the most delicious broth I’ve tasted in this area. The pork eggrolls were also one of the tastiest rolls I’ve had. Would definitely be coming by again.

Google
Good service and taste pho. The fried tofu is also decent - crispy on the outside and soft inside, paired with garlicky soy sauce to dip in which takes the taste to next level.

Google
Great Pho for a great price. I had the appetizer sampler and it was amazing. The pho was great. The broth was made just to my taste, not too salty or bland. The amount of meat was perfect. The only thing I didn't like was the noodle. I like the thinner ones better but that's just me. The decor could be a little better for me but it's not a high end restaurant so maybe I'm asking too much. The fish sauce was a little though. Everything else was good, the coffee was good, the passionfruit tea was amazing. The girl at the register was amazing, very pretty by the way. We had a group of 5 and we need to split the bill and she accommodated us. Highly recommended.

Google
The portion size is truly astounding, with an incredible amount of beef and a large beef rib. The soup is very flavorful, with a complex and sophisticated taste. The portion is so generous and the taste so delicious, yet the price is very affordable. All my colleagues who went with me agree that it's the best Vietnamese pho we've had in Los Angeles so far.

Came here after our favorite pho spot closed for the day. Food was amazing, service was homey. There is an arcade in the same shopping center as well for children to enjoy.

Google
I was looking for some later- on -in -the evening pho and found this place nearby. It was right across the street from my go-to bahn mi place. Very good broth. I got the garlic filet and asked for extra tendon , and that was pricy, 40%more!! And for that amount I would expect to get a herd 🦬 of tendon, and that wasn't the case. So I downgrade the service for that. But good was tasty if pricy. Don't order extra.

Google
Delicious porkchop with rice and eggs. I really enjoyed my dinner here. I really like the passion fruit tea too from here. The tables and car parking lot here is limited. They have one private single restroom for men and women 🚻. I appreciate the service here. 🙏. Thank you.

Yelp
Amazing pho! Super flavorful and perfect portions. Thai tea is to die for! Service was amazing! The restaurant was also super clean. 10/10 will be coming back.

Yelp
Amazing Pho! Super flavorful, and big proportions. Service was outstanding, and the restaurant was super clean!! 10/10 will be coming back!

Yelp
Pho ngoon Super bowl pho #8 Absolutely delicious and perfect for a cold chilly night ! Yelp
Service is poor, food is mediocre. Pricey; probably not coming back. I ordered the dried pho. The noodles were soggy and the seasoning was basic (essentially just soy sauce). It was okay. They were generous with the meats though. My bf got the filet mignon with egg and rice. He said seasoning was good but meat was a little tough. They threw in a lot of bell peppers and onions so the meat ratio is disappointing for $17 before tax/tip. Service was sad. We got ice water right away which was nice but the server didn't look like he wanted to be there. He never smiled and his tone was dead. We ordered a tea drink with our foods. He didnt write it down (based on other reviews about him forgetting items, I would suggest he use pen & paper more often...) When he brought out our foods, we asked about the drink and he was like "what drink?" Then he remembered, came back and dropped it off at the table and left. We didn't get a sorry, thank you or bye the whole meal. He also dropped off some type of dipping sauce and a bowl of soup, but he didn't even mention if it was for the dried pho or the filet mignon rice :// Bill is paid at the cashier. Wouldn't recommend here since there's so many Vietnamese restaurants within 10 miles, and you'll probably get more bang for your buck with better service and tastier foods.

Yelp
I came here for a late night dinner after work because it was one of the few pho places that closes very late, and I wouldn't need to rush to finish the pho. The parking lot is small and is hell during the day, but nothing to worry about at 9 pm. I got a shrimp pho and shrimp spring rolls. They were delicious and flavorful!

Yelp
After my trip, I desperately craved a nice, hot bowl of pho and stumbled upon this place because it was nearby and opened late. When we arrived, the restaurant was pretty empty. Interior was clean and spacious, and service was quick. My boyfriend ordered Northern style (with the addition of the meatballs) and I got Southern style. They used the same broth and noodles for both of our bowls, which was fine since it was still very yummy, but I specifically wanted that richness and fattiness in the broth and the thin, chewier noodles from the Southern style. They could have given us more beansprouts and Thai basil too. Overall, it is good and satisfied my craving, but I would say that there are better pho places in the 626 area.

Tiffany L.

Yelp
A lot of pho places close by 9pm but this is one of the very few pho places that's open until 10pm. We got here a little bit before 9pm and it was dead empty, but by the time we left it was packed, probably because everyone else wanted pho at that hour and there's not a lot of other places to choose from. I haven't really had pho in the SGV area to compare to Pho Ngoon, but I thought this place was solid. I got the rare ribeye pho and thought the slices weren't too thin nor dry. The broth was rich - you could tell it took them hours to achieve that level of depth. Portions were fair for the price. My only complaint would be that I didn't like how the rice noodles were a little soft. I feel like other places know how to cook them such that they're a little chewier, which is a challenge in itself as rice noodles are very easy to soften if they cook for too long.

Yelp
Title: Pho Ngoon Restaurant Review I recently dined at Pho Ngoon and ordered the Pho Super Bowl along with the spring rolls. The Pho Super Bowl impressed with its generous portion of meat, particularly the tender and flavorful meat with bone. The spring rolls, noteworthy for their substantial size, contributed to a satisfying dining experience. The overall quantity of food was ample, nearly filling me with the combination of pho and spring rolls alone. One aspect that stood out was the quality of the meat in the Pho Super Bowl, possessing both taste and tenderness. The favorable texture and flavors contributed significantly to the overall appeal of the dish. Additionally, the sizable spring rolls provided a delightful contrast in terms of both texture and taste. The dining experience was further enhanced by the restaurant's suitability for the prevailing raining cold weather. This added comfort element, coupled with the hearty portions of the dishes, made Pho Ngoon a favorable choice during such climatic conditions. In conclusion, Pho Ngoon offers a commendable dining experience, particularly for those seeking a warm and hearty meal during colder weather. The Pho Super Bowl and spring rolls, with their generous portions and flavorful components, contribute to a satisfying culinary experience at this establishment.

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't written a review for this place but this is my absolute favorite spot for pho. I recommend if you can, eating there as pho always is better nice and hot but I've ordered from them on Uber eats and it's just as good. The egg rolls are also very delicious. The garlic steak pho is my personal favorite.

Yelp
visited: 03/16/2024 parking: in fromex/popeyes plaza -- parking in the lot our front food: delicious flavorful pho w fresh ingredients! total was around $54 for 2 bowls of pho, spring rolls, and a thai tea. (2 people) service: was fast and attentive! you go up to the register to pay at the end of your meal ambiance: a newer establishment so it was nice and clean 5/5 experience & food -- great authentic vietnamese food, would definitely come back

Yelp
This has to be my favorite pho place in the area! I always crave it every time I'm nearby. I order the shrimp pho, which comes with 8 pieces of shrimp. The shrimp come half peeled so it's very easy to remove the rest of the shell. Their broth is also very flavorful and much better than other pho places I've been to. They have the option of flat rice noodles (default), or you can request thin rice noodles. The service here is excellent. They're open until 10:30 PM and the last call for dine-in is 10 PM. We're always seated right away and our food is brought out very quickly. We usually request extra onion and cilantro for our pho, and the servers give us a whole bowl of it to share. They also provide extra soup if requested for no additional charge. The restaurant is very clean and well-lit. There is a lot of seating inside, and also some tables outside as well. The tables are also always stocked with utensils, napkins, and sauces, so you never need to ask for anything. They also have the original sriracha which goes amazingly with the pho. Overall, I love everything about this pho place and will definitely continue coming here!

Yelp
It was late one evening and my mom and I looked in Yelp for a pho place opened late. Low and behold we found Pho Ngoon! We quickly drove over and was so delighted by their food! Mom ordered the Pho with Beef and tripe and as for me I had the Pho with rare steak and tripe. First impression, the soup was awesome! Service was quick and friendly. Easy free parking at night. Closes late at 1030pm. You have a choice of thin or wide rice noodles or egg noodles! We both chose wide. Along with the delicious hot broth, was generous amounts of wide rice noodles, beef, and trip. Mom and I agreed we found this to be our favorite go to for PHO! I saw many other items on their menu and many were ordering Boba tea drinks. I am so grateful for Yelp and highly recommend this place without a doubt you will not be disappointed.

Sheryn M.

Yelp
I haven't been here in a couple of years. I was craving pho and decided to come here since I was doing some grocery shopping nearby. Got the beef rib pho that has everything. Broth for the soup was okay. I remembered it used to be richer in flavor. Everything was good except for the brisket meat. It was really dry, tough and you can taste the meat was old and stale. My friend ordered the garlic filet mignon pho and it did not have any garlic in it. I think they messed up tbh. We asked for thin noodles and got thick fresh noodles. SMH

Christina T.

Yelp
Not bad! This place serves northern style pho so by default the noodles will be the flat noodles. Just an fyi because i ordered but didn't realize it you do have an option to choose but just have to tell the server.

Ethan N.

Yelp
Been seeing that some reviews mention inconsistency with food quality, so this is just my experience. Restaurant itself is pretty typical of a homestyle Vietnamese restaurant - clean but well-loved. Came around two on a Wednesday and ordered the Pho Super Bowl ($18ish) from a very spry waiter that was bumping to some Vietnamese EDM on the restaurant speakers. Got our food about 10-15 minutes later and when I tell you the portion size for the large Super was RIDICULOUS I mean it. Short rib was fall-off-the-bone tender and there was so much meat - if I had to pick a favorite it'd be either the short rib or rare steak (also came with beef balls, brisket, and not as much tripe and tendon as I would have liked). Broth was clear and flavorful and piping hot. By the time we had finished what we could and packed the rest, our waiter had changed the mood to something sadder and began providing us with uh...live entertainment! I'll definitely be back once I feel like having another meal that will last me 2 and a half meals.

Vanna T.

Yelp
We usually come here for their pho, but their vermicelli dishes are pretty good too. This time we ordered the bun thit nuong cha gio and pho Super Bowl. The pho had a good broth and have good portion of meats. The vermicelli dish was okay, it didn't tasted as good as before. Service wasn't that good. Took a while to get the vermicelli dish and the server gave the dish to the wrong table. The place is located in the same plaza as Popeyes and the old Boston Lobster restaurant. It's easier to find parking now as this plaza isn't as packed as before.

Hana L.

Yelp
2.9 Not the best pho. It'll fulfill your pho craving but nothing special. Customer service is non existent. I probably won't return unless I have no other choice.

Michael S.

Yelp
Food was excellent! I ordered the Super Bowl (picture attached) and was thinking I would be over whelmed with noodles and broth, but was amazed at the balance of this bowl! All the ingredients that I wanted in the right ratio! Beef meat was fall off the bone! Did I meant late night eats! Place has great hours for the late night crowd and to be honest it was the main reason we ate there! Open late with ok service! Ambiance is a bit lacking I would almost list it as a dive, but some food network guy got rich going to Diners, Drive-ins, and Dive. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Holly H.

Yelp
Food: - number 9: I only got 2 out of the other meat options available, it was 7/10, tasted alright - chicken pho: 7/10 alright, meat is kinda dry - broth is fresher than other places Service: - fast seating - super friendly staff Ambiance: - came around 9 pm and there was 1 parking spot available in the lot - sign in for a wait spot at the front - bonus that they open until 10 pm, definitely hit the spot

Sophia D.

Yelp
HORRIBLE I'm sorry but I ordered the oxtail pho and I couldn't even eat it because it the meat was so tuff it literally felt like I was chomping on raw meat it was so tuff! Lesson learned I won't be going back!

huy h.

Yelp
Food pretty delicious i love nb31 its my favorite if yall come should try it 1 time and they have nice worker too

Samantha W.

Yelp
We had their rare filet mignon pho & garlic filet mignon pho. The rare filet mignon pho was odd because the meat was almost like ground beef. All broken up chunks. Whereas the garlic filet mignon pho, the meat was in slices...what I was expecting the rare filet mignon ph to be as well. The broth was delicious. Kinda on the oily side. But we both liked it. The only thing was that the noodles were too soft for my liking. I like them to be a bit firmer with a bit of chew. These just felt over cooked.

Olive D.

Yelp
Well lighted family style pho restaurant situated in a corner business plaza. The rare pho meat is tender not unlike other pho establishments. The fresh noodle is thick flat but soft to the bite. My son enjoyed his made to order fried chicken with egg tasty and perfectly cook. Egg roll is not that salty cook just right no char. Plenty of available table, service is quick and attentive staff.

Chun C.

Yelp
Good service. The pho was great. We did take out but the ambiance is clean and casual. Would come back in the future.

Graciela C.

Yelp
My absolute new favorite place for pho. Look no further because trust me, I've had my fair share of pho from living in the SGV for 12 years. I highly recommend the pho #12. My gf always asks for the meat on the side and I've never done that before but this way you get to control the doneness of the chopped filet mignon!! The soup also comes very hot which is perfect. #12 for for $14 and for the size of the bowl it's totally worth it. Also you should ask for: -sacha sauce -green onions in oil -blanched sprouts -extra limes -Pay at the register. Card or cash ok. -They have one restroom The owner is ultra nice too. Excellent northern style pho.

Ariana L.

Yelp
My friend and I were looking for a pho restaurant that was open later at night and we found Pho Ngoon nearby. There was no wait when we got to the restaurant (though the restaurant had a decent amount of customers). The servers were quick to take our orders and the wait for the food was no more than 15 minutes. We ordered shrimp spring rolls to share, my friend ordered a Brisket Pho w/thick noodles, and I ordered a Chicken Pho w/thick noodles. Portion sizes were more than enough (they only offer one size) and the broth was delicious. I do think that the broth was slightly salty for my taste but my friend loved it. Though I am sure there are plenty of better pho restaurants in the area, Pho Ngoon is a great option if you're looking for a decent place that closes a bit later at night (they close at 10:30 PM).

ED L.

Yelp
Possible the only Pho place in the San Gabriel Valley that is open late(r). When it's cold, and not too many other restaurants are still open past 9pm, Pho Ngoonis the place to go. Yes, I would go there during the day too, since they serve delicious pho. I usually order their Beef Rib Pho or their Oxtail Pho. The Beef Rib Pho is one of their specialties served piping hot in a large soup bowl. They are known for their Beef Rib Pho. Proportions are huge, but it's more expensive for this item. It can serve two people perfectly. Order a side of egg rolls or spring rolls, you'll be content. This place stops serving at 9:30pm, and they close at 10pm. They are busy enough, so it seems like you giving them business or not does not matter to them, as it shows in their service. Service can be a hit or a miss. And they're not the most organized establishment as mistakes are frequently made. But the food is good!

Rachel K.

Yelp
Came here late on a Sunday night because it's probably the only pho place in the area open at 9pm. Super inconsistent food quality. Me and my boyfriend both ordered beef pho, but his broth was severely underseasoned and bland and tasted like chicken water. My broth was light yet rich and hearty, exactly how you would expect a pho to taste. At the end of the meal I tried his broth and was literally shocked and speechless by how different our soups tasted despite ordering the same thing. I felt so bad for him that the whole time I didn't know how bad his pho was.

Bianca L.

Yelp
I defo found my new pho spot. Pho filet migon - 10/10. The broth is so good, clean, hot, and fresh. Huge serving for regular size. I did burn my throat but it was worth it. The meat was tender and easy to chew. Noodles cooked to perfection. Crispy egg rolls, BOMB! All veggies were fresh. Go in, get seated, order, eat, go to the register to pay Parking in lot

Angel R.

Yelp
There isn't a lot of pho places that close at 10:30pm Pho Ngoon is and that's what makes it special! Their customer service is outstanding, they don't bother you too much to a point you get annoyed they have the best customer service in my experience! They're inside is very open you don't feel clustered around the restaurant everything is well placed and organized! I highly recommend Pho Ngoon for people to try!!!

Christine V.

Yelp
My parents love this spot so I decided to meet them for a bite to eat. I ordered the Spring Rolls, Egg Rolls and Pho Dac Biet. To say I was underwhelmed is an understatement. The broth is lacking the authentic flavor and tasted very watered down. The bowl was large but mostly full of noodles and very little meat. The spring rolls fell apart and were soggy as soon they were dropped off at the table so that's a pass for me as well. As for the Egg Rolls, they were actually pretty decent. The restaurant was fairly empty when we arrived but service was still so bad and slow. You basically have to seat yourself because the staff will look up and see you walk in but you won't be greeted or assisted. I don't think I would come back because there are so many other Pho spots in the area that are authentic and delicious!

Don W.

Yelp
Do not order online. They've screwed up my ordee twice already. Why give options when you cant fullfill the order correctly. I also received rottened and black lettuce. No thanks. Never again.

Nigel L.

Yelp
Best pho bac outside of Vietnam! Always come here when I feel sick, sad, happy, broken up, new girlfriend. This is the spot to go! Highly recommended!

Kimmie N.

Yelp
Wanted to give this place a try since it had such high reviews for pho. Came here on a Thursday evening. Parking was easy to find but it is a small lot that is shared with other businesses. Some spots are designated for specific shops so watch out for signage. The restaurant still offers outdoor seating but indoor is also available. The restaurant was dead. I was the only customer inside. I had ordered the garlic filet mignon pho with the thin rice noodles. It did take some time before my order came out. It came out in a metal bowl and it was piping hot! The thin rice noodles is not the typical pho noodles. It was a little thicker. There was a generous amount of meat. I wasn't a fan of the filet mignon meat as it was dry and tough. Broth was extra hot the entire time but did lack the usual pho flavor. There was a lack of service. The waiter was very emotionless and only took my order and never saw him return again to check if i needed anything. Noticed him sitting at another table just on his phone. Might want to give this place another try since I hear it opens late but otherwise didnt really care for my first experience here. Rather drive a little further down valley or to garvey for better pho.

Daniel L.

Yelp
Very good food for the price and the size of their portion is also good. I have been to many Pho restaurants in Monterey Park and Alhambra, and this is one of the best. More importantly, it's clean and their staff are very nice.

Gabriel A.

Yelp
To me, Pho Ngoon has a very flavorful broth. At some places, the Pho broth is bland but not here. Their Pho is a good portion and comes packed with toppings.

Amanda J.

Yelp
Great food, great atmosphere, the egg rolls & spring rolls are definitely worth a try! We had the brisket pho and it was made with great taste. Definitely recommend!

Mac S.

Yelp
Visited Pho Ngoon with the family over the weekend. Good service, and decent Pho. We got the Build your own Pho and Chicken Pho's. One plus is that you get decent portions at Pho Ngoon as I was able to take some Pho to go for later. Also, I liked that the To-Go containers were already out for you for DIY (so you don't have ask for them separately). Tip: They usually serve thick noodles, however if you like thin noodles you can request it (as it is written)

Eve V.

Yelp
Food was great! BUT, 1) They didn't let us sit down when we arrived at 9:30 PM (they close at 10:30 PM). Then sat other people down that came after us. We were told we can only order to go. 2) Messed up our to go order by forgetting all the beef ribs for our (3 orders) of beef ribs pho! We found that out after we'd driven back to our Airbnb 20 mins away, then needed to drive back again (now closing time for them) so we could eat our dinner. Not really a fan of noodles-only soup nor fastfood as an alternative. Yup, the people they seated after us were still there (now past closing time). Grrr... Not recommended because of poor service. They did give us an extra rice plate and ribs for the inconvenience.

Elena C.

Yelp
Pho among us Pho Ngoon's broth tastes a little bit different than most pho place i frequented. Maybe because they are hanoi style? I don't know. But pho ngoon tastes somewhat heavier, gamey (in a good way), and seems like doesn't need hoisin to enjoy the dish. Some pho place sometimes rely heavily on hoisin it gave a weird aftertaste. An interesting detail, at least on my order, is that the rice noodle is warm (as opposed to cold like most places). You don't have to pull and split apart the noodles to 'revive' them from their cryogenic state. The broth retains the heat longer thanks to this. But in hindsight, that also means you have to be more patient in dining. Overall it's a nice pho place. The meats are nice and seems like having more fats on them (yes!). The beef strips are slightly on the tough side, but not that it hinders your enjoyment. Interesting broth, but comforting soul food indeed.

Trish C.

Yelp
Wow. This super size PHO bowl is much bigger than in the picture. 2 average size peoples can share 1 big bowl and both can still get stomach full. The broth is ok. I just feel just little more Flavor to it . Overall, would come back again I hanging around in San Gabriel alley again.

Kathy L.

Yelp
Good is decent. Price is fair for today's economy. Small place and they do a lot of to goes. One person does everything, from cashing to serving. Pho Super Bowl is my favorite there! Enough to share with my daughter.

Dwight Fraencis D.

Yelp
Pleasing ambiance with soothing music. Pho is already delicious without adding the sprouts/lemon/mint. They use rice paper and fry them for their eeg rolls which provided a lighter/thinner wrap and crispier experience. They are real slices of pork in their spring rolls. Although a bit dry because of the pork, its healthier and its dryness dissaptes because of their peanut sauce, moref lavorful than any other peanut sauce that I had, with a hint of spiciness. Support local business.

Sang N.

Yelp
Bad costumer servers, I was come to eat around 935pm They didn't let me in , because they said was busy. There was 3 people was waiting in line , the close around 10:30pm.

Kenny W.

Yelp
Recently came here with a group of friends, six in total. We found seating immediately. The place is small, clean, and neat. The menu was pretty simple and easy to navigate. My whole party liked the dishes and the staff was quick to help us. We came around 6 and found parking easily. We were even able to all pay separately for our bills because they make u pay up at the counter.

Shayne D.

Yelp
I forgot to take some photos but a heads up, their grade level here is a B. We ordered spring roll, the shrimp tempura plate for appetizer, Super Bowl Pho, and Shaking Cube Filet. The appetizer is a hit or miss, really depends on your tastebuds. Pho, not bad but not the best I've had. And the shaking cube filet, I'd say its quite bland, it does come with sauce, though I personally think they don't taste well together. The service from the young man was great in the beginning of our lunch, then all of the sudden some girls came in who seemed they work there as managers or own the place. It was towards the end of our lunch and it was quite difficult to grab their attention for to-go boxes, etc; because they were all having conversation and had their backs facing us, we were literally the only table there during that time.. The ambiance is not bad, but don't expect to an "Instagram worthy" type of ambiance here, it seems like a local business, nothing too special. Their bathroom isn't the most cleanliness, but doable. While I was using the bathroom, the lights suddenly turned off on me, but seems just like a tech issue so not a big deal. Over, not bad, I guess? lol. You may like it or you may not..

Lian R.

Yelp
I've been a regular at this place for quite some time now, and I wanted to share some feedback about one of your servers, particularly the young, slim boy who sometimes wears glasses. On a couple of occasions, we've had issues with our orders when he was serving us. The first time was when he took our orders by memory and even confirmed them twice. However, when our orders arrived, they were incorrect. When we mentioned this to him, he made it seem like that's what we had ordered, despite another server noticing the mistake and asking him about it at the cashier. The second time, he took our order again, this time using a pen and paper. We hoped this would prevent any mistakes, but unfortunately, our order, including our drinks, was still wrong. While we understand that mistakes can happen, what concerns us is that the boy seemed indifferent to the errors and did not take responsibility. It was evident that the young man in question did not seem to care about the mistakes. It was his coworkers who stepped in to rectify the situation and apologize to us. We appreciate their efforts, but it's clear that the boy struggles with taking accurate orders. We kindly suggest that he not be assigned to take orders to avoid further inconvenience to customers.

Yelp
Saw great reviews on this restaurant and went to eat there tonight. Disappointed. Food quality was ok, not the best. Restaurant was decently clean. Service was poor. We waiting almost 20mim for our food. The server was careless when busing tables, almost got on to my jacket.

Yelp
It's been sad to see the decline of this place. Once was our go to Pho place in the SGV. Their Super Pho Bowl was a favorite. It's not the same. Broth is less inspired, place isn't as clean as before and instead of a hustling wait staff they sit around and look at their phones, taking turns playing loud rap music on the speakers. Thinking this is a family ran joint as there is an older gentleman sweating it out in the back and youngsters lazily bringing this place down our front. Sad to see. Used to lick the Super Bowl clean. Today it was only half eaten and slurped down as I left. Damn.

Yelp
Postmates order Memorial Day weekend (Sunday night at 9pm). Giving lots of grace with three stars here because Phon Ngoon was the only pho place open at 9pm on a Sunday that offered delivery (thru postmates). While everything was edible, none of it was very good. Maybe we ordered the wrong things and the chefs were tired.. but I wouldn't order from here again, nor recommend. Order: Pho dac biet - 2.5/5 Sampler (egg rolls, spring rolls, rocker shrimp) - 2.5/5 Rice dish with beef & veggies - 3/5 With pho it's all about the broth.. and the fresh herbs. This broth was extremely bland and under seasoned. Tasted clean, but not actual flavor (no aromatics, no depth). The saddest part of all...... the restaurant didn't provide any side veggies/herbs/sauces (no bag of beansprouts/basil/lemon/lime/hoisin/Siracha...... NOTHING!). So we didn't even have anything to add any flavor to the pho :( super disappointing. Though again.. giving grace since it was late on a Sunday but still.... how do you forget the veggies?!? With the veggies I might've given a 3 - 3.5 but without them it was just a 2.5/5 dish. The rice and beef dish was better but was only ordered because we were unable to order the pho + beef meatballs on the app (maybe not the restaurant's fault and probably better off bc we might not have gotten the veggies lol). Rice dish was okay though nothing mind blowing and wouldn't order again. 3/5 Sampler was another BIG disappointment. The egg rolls were not cooked long enough so the inner layer of egg roll skin was completely raw which made each bite mushy vs crispy (2/5). The rocket shrimp were better but the shrimp were tinnnnnny (2.5/5)!! The shrimp spring rolls were just as sad, sadly. They were very limp and the small amount of lettuce used inside was old and watery + a small amount of rice noodles... nothing else added in for flavor (2/5). Pass on this for sure.
