Along with sprouts and basil, the pho ga comes with a substantial pile of delicate vermicelli noodles, tender slices of chicken, and a side of ginger-laden sweet chili sauce." - Janey Wong

When I’m Sick, All I Want Is a Bowl of Pho - Eater Portland

"Pho Oregon, located in Madison South, provides a comforting and consistent dining experience reminiscent of a Vietnamese American diner. The restaurant features a neon sign, large porcelain vases, and lacquered wood art panels, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Known for its pho, the restaurant offers a soothing experience with aromatic spices like star anise and cinnamon. The pho is served hot, allowing patrons to enjoy what can be described as a "pho facial," inhaling the warming spices and herbs. The venue is unchanged since its early days, providing a sense of stability and comfort, particularly appreciated during life's turbulent moments." - Janey Wong

"This banquet-ready institution is a well-oiled machine. From tai (round steak only) to the dac biet (multiple cuts of beef, plus meatballs, tendon, and tripe), the menu has more than 20 different variations of pho to choose from. All bowls of pho, fragrant with star anise and clove, come out of the kitchen quicker than seems humanly possible." - Janey Wong

Followed my brother's lead and ordered an off menu pho. The Pho arrived promptly and hot. It really hit the spot. The base is MONEY. Great flavor and not overly seasoned. It was clear wo the sheen you see when the fat hasn't been properly strained. Was there over the lunch hour, so it was fairly empty. The service was where this place fell flat. Once the food was dropped off, we were on our own for the remainder of our meal. The atmosphere was just average. Typical fact food Asian decorations, tables, and chairs. A view right into the kitchen and all the "behind the scenes" areas.

Food was, almost instant. Freshly made, and very good ingredients. The service was top of the line, very attentive but not bothering. Attention to detail is what sold me here. On top of that very polite to their clients and to babies! Cleaning very constantly. And it smells so good in here. Always room for improvement so if the owners see this personal message me and I’ll let you know my thoughts instead of on here. Overall VERY SATISFIED WITH EVERYTHING!

I order number 33 on the menu to go and whe i was getting 4 spicy sauce and 1 soy an employee came up and told me I was taking too much sauce for one meal! Paying $21.50 for chowmein should let me get the sauces I want to make it taste the way I like it. Total insult in my opinion! I will never go back. Their sauce is more precious than a customer apparently. I also want to add that i have been eating there for 3 years with my grandparents with no hassle but now that they moved away I get it to go. And then get harassed for using the sauce that I have always used while dining in.

When people tell you, this is some of the best Vietnamese food in Oregon, they're not lying. My problem with it, though, what is that they need to pay more attention when you place your order. When someone says they don't want peanuts and onions, it's a really big deal. I will have a hard time returning knowing that they're not paying enough attention for their client's safety. I wasnt able to enjoy my lunch the other day.

Consistently Good. Inexpensive. Went there again today after waiting wayyy too long. The Oregon Nem Cuon and the Pho Tai Nam Gan are the go-to items when I go to Pho Oregon. Both are soooo damn good. I'm sure everything would be tasty. Service is fast and courteous. Prices are reasonable , although prices have increased since my last visit. It's still a great value for quality. Go! Pho! ........Soon!

We ordered their special Pho, which comes in a large bowl. The broth was delicious. They have a lot of selections on their menu, but the restaurant has a distinct smell, possibly due to the renovation from upstairs.

So many things wrong.... Food - I ordered 2 dishes , 1 Small bowl meatball pho , received almost 2lb noodles with 5 meatballs A bowl of 2 man handful of veggies on top of 2 thin slice of porkchop and 3 shrimp on a stick. The fish sauce container on the table is NOT fish sauce , it's like a hint of fish sauce watered down with added salt . Tea kettle - so I poured my first tea and drank what I call Luke warm with no taste . Service - when I walked in I was seated by a guy who doesn't smile , drags himself around the restaurant, And MAJORITY ON HIS PHONE !!!!!!! Atmosphere- one side is cold where I was seated and I had to ask to be seated somewhere else where there's no cold air right on the table for the food to be cold in 5 mins . Overall ppl ! Pass on this restaurant!!!!!!
