Some of the best pasta I've had in the city! The truffle in the tagliatelle was a nice addition, and the seafood paccheri had just the right amount of sauce and flavor. Also loved the tomato and olive oil paste served with the bread. The dishes feel genuinely authentic and distinct from the typical Italian menu. The staff was friendly and even made our tiramisu right at the table. All the little details made our meal a memorable experience.

Such a special and delicious spot where, from the first bite, you know you’re in good hands. Their care and attention to every detail, every fresh, homemade ingredient, is incredible. Flavors I’ve only tasted in Italy, and homemade pasta stretched and cut right in front of you. Loved their gnocchi and their lasagna. The fried squash blossoms were insane! Best I’ve ever had! And their tiramisu was a show in itself, as one of the servers came out and prepared it in front of us, the ladyfingers, espresso and all. The cream, made over three and a half hours that day. It’s a cozy spot with lots of dog-friendly outdoor seating. Can’t wait to come back. 5 stars!!!!!

Absolutely loved this place. Food was amazing. Servers were great and attentive! Cynthia made us feel welcomed and had great conversation. The atmosphere is great, very warm and cozy. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back!

I am just not appreciating the food here to match its high rating. We sampled a good percentage of the menu. We love the sea bass and skirt steak. The Sicilian rice ball was fantastic. Pasta were all good. It was too heavy on avocado in their salads, especially the artichoke salad. Some raw tuna looked too dark in the salad, and they looked different from plate to plate. The overly sweet deserts and vitello tonnato's tuna sauce damaged my experience here. I still give an overall four-rating. The sea bass was excellent, and the ambience and the service were good.

Phenomenal. I had nothing bad. My friend from Sicily was with us and he definitely approved of the authenticity. We had the Bucatini Casio E Pepe, Wild Boar Tagliatelle, Calamarata Con Pesto, Gnocchi, Salmon Tartar, Stuffed Artichoke, Grilled calamari, Cannoli; Tiramisu and Apple pie. Everything was out of this world. Amazing quality and the price was perfect. We also tried the red and white wines which were great. I recommend everything we had and I’m coming back to try more. Also the ingredients are so fresh, I really felt like my body processed the food. I didn’t wake up feeling bloated at all. I absolutely love this place, just go, you will not be disappointed.

We checked out this new restaurant in my neighborhood last night. It's one of a group of restaurants around the city run by a Sicilian chef, Philip Guardione. This is the first one in Brooklyn. He was expediting. The service was EXCELLENT. That's rare these days. They were very friendly and on point with everything. The food was very generous! Most of the dishes were slightly undersalted, which I didn't mind because I try to keep sodium levels down for BF. I find that most restaurants are heavy-handed with salt so this was refreshing. They served you gorgeous toasted bread with a sun-dried tomato oil. We intentionally did not have any pasta but we had very good caponata, fried stuffed zucchini flowers, and chicken Milanese which was enormous and piled with tomatoes and roasted potatoes and arugula. The chicken was beautifully fried and moist inside. They made a tasty and cool looking tuna crudo where the tuna was cut like spaghetti with pistachios, bottarga, and olives. We also had a lentil salad and the grilled vegetables. The lentils were a bit bland. Could have used more acidity. The food was not your typical Italian restaurant fare. They finish the cacao e pepe tableside and assemble the tiramisu at the table too. Lots of options for vegetarians. We'll definitely go back with BF's daughter. They sent out a couple of cannolis which were good. Super crispy, a little sweet for my taste , but perfect for BF. He was very happy especially since I said no dessert! We totally over ordered, but we have leftovers!

I recently dined at Piccolo Cucina Casa in Brooklyn/Boerum Hill and had an excellent experience. We enjoyed the Carpaccio di Manzo (for 2), Polpetta de la Nonna, and Angolotti Ossobuco, all of which were delicious and unique compared to typical Italian restaurant. The service was fantastic and friendly, making us feel welcome. While not necessarily kid-friendly, they provided a high chair and treated us nicely. The atmosphere was pleasant with good music, enhancing the overall dining experience. As a special treat, we were given cannelloni for dessert, which was a delightful surprise. Highly recommend this gem for a memorable meal.

My friend Cynthia, a Calabrian Italian from Petronà, works here. She is a pure Southern Italian, a diligent lady, and provides superb service. She has a deep understanding of real Italian food. The dish is kept at a great authentic level and is delicious, just like the one on Spring St. A pure gourmet food experience.🫶

Everything was amazing. I wish I took more photos. The polpo alla griglia was AMAZING so tasty, tender, just grilled enough without being burnt. We were a group of 5 and everyone was happy with their pasta orders. The portions were very generous. The cotoletta alla milanese (chicken cutlet) took up a quarter of the table. Service was so attentive, friendly and helpful (answering all our questions and setting up a birthday surprise). Would definitely go back or try another location. Lastly.. table side tiramisu

This place was an immediate 5 star from start to finish - Our waiter was very kind, welcoming and knowledgeable! Everything we ordered was phenomenal. We started with a salad and bruschetta. I got the lasagna (very cheesy) and I was pleased; my only complaint being that it could have used a lot more sauce.. The ambiance was bustling but not too loud. Overall a wonderful dinner. Thank you!

Yummy food and awesome service!! We came to this finally after trying to go to other 2 highly rated Italian restaurants but got rejected bc of my service dog (how ridiculous). The waitress so super friendly and everything was delicious. Will definitely be back!

Just perfect. Came here for dinner with 3 friends and it was everything we could have wanted. We took our server Cinzia's recs and the food was all amaaazing and I live in NYC and eat at great Italian restaurants here all the time. This was next level. I'll be dreaming of this meal until I come back!

So pumped to have such a delicious place on a quiet side street right around the corner from me (that's not Rucola). I made rezzies and was greeted so warmly. We decided to sit at the pasta bar and we were right next to a friend of the owner (?) but he had a tasting of a bout 5-6 apps- and gave us this sublime smoked salmon with avocado mousse in a delicious vinaigrette- right off his plate! For cocktails I had the Greta- which I will never not have while returning! I ordered an app of prosciutto and burrata- my husband, the tomato bruschetta - it was ginormous and so fresh and delicious. I ordered a pasta with Langoustines and my husband ordered the lasagna- we loved everything- only next time we are going to get a bunch of apps and maybe split a pasta- or just go for all apps. It's plenty of food. Sweet little cannolis for desert. Yum. It was a tad too toasty but all together the ambiance is darling- we can't wait to return. Everyone so pleasant and the food was great. Woo first to review! Wow it's been a while. Tonight I went to dinner hosted by a friend and I am literally writing this from my Uber while my stomach is distended over my usually loose jeans. I had heard good things about this restaurant's sisters in the city but had never been to any of them. Upon hearing that the "real" Italians approved of this place I was more than excited to try it. The food was so delicious and unassuming, made with obvious care and attention. No pretentious plating just generous portions of great Sicilian fare. We had a strong sampling of everything: arancini, polpo, bruschetta, artichoke, eggplant parm, lasagna, gnocchi with pistachio and tuna, agnolotti! Oh and of course the meal ended with their incredible cannoli in homemade shells. All in all a great experience and can't wait to take my family here soon. Ciao!

Went for the first time tonight. I was blown away by how beautiful the restaurant is, how delicious the food is and how great the service is. Victor is a star and the table-side made tiramisu is out of this world. Totally worth a visit if you haven't tried it. We'll be coming back for sure.

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 I can honestly say this is among our top 3 Italian places in the city. Everything was great, from the food to the service. Food was fantastic. The vitello tonato was out if this world, and the arancini were probably the best I've ever had. Gnocchi were incredible with a very unique and tasty sauce, and the chicken milanese was cooked perfectly and very crispy. Staff is very friendly and attentive and made us feel right at home. Only small issue was getting seated. We had made a reservation but it still took 20+ mins past our reservation time to get a table. But I get they're going for oldschool Italian setup so I'm not going to hold that against them too much.
