Six Miami Restaurant and Bar Openings You Might Have Missed - Eater Miami

"A new Mediterranean spot, aptly named Pickle, has arrived on Washington Avenue, offering dishes combining Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean flavors under executive chef Yılmaz Güney. The menu spans familiar Mediterranean standbys, lesser-known regional dishes, and a beverage program focused on herbs and spices throughout the Mediterranean area. The dining room features stone walls, copper accents, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Washington Avenue, with late-night hours on weekends catering to the South Beach crowd." - Olee Fowler

Pickle Lounge and Restaurant - Review - Miami Beach - Miami - The Infatuation

"Pickle in Miami Beach is a Mediterranean restaurant replacing Kómma, another Mediterranean restaurant. The menu has mezzes like hummus with caramelized onions, baba ganoush, grilled kofte, and fittingly, a mixed pickle plate. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Mariana Trabanino

The place is really a great place We went for a 2-hour dinner with our family. But we stayed at the place for about 6 hours. Everything was delicious. It has really become a signature place, we have no doubt that it will spread quickly to everyone in Miami. We also thank the chef of the place, Mr. Yilmaz, he was very interested and attentive, the flavors were great. I definitely recommend you to try the pumpkin dessert. The profiterole is also legendary, the baklava is legendary. We tried everything for 6 hours, everything was delicious.

It is our first time at Pickle. It was an amazing experience. Especially our server Umit was the best. So friendly and knows all the food and drink. Such a nice guy. We will definitely be back soon. I am glad that there is now another Turkish restaurant with this level of quality.

Ümit was great. It was my friend’s birthday. We went there for dinner. He gave us an outstanding service. Our table was already ready set up and looking marvelous. Food was delicious and well served. Everything came out of the kitchen on time. We will definitely be back for another dinner and birthday hopefully.

We tried this restaurant for our anniversary and found the concept a bit confused. Our server Ümit was very friendly and knew the menu but a bit too chatty, overly tentative, I believe it was because we were his only table that night. If he doesn’t break the bubble he would be great! The trio of mezes presentation was confused to a seafood platter or something. I’ve never seen mezes served over ice at 70 degree weather outside with raw vegetables as decor. A bit exaggerated, if the mezes are good, all that is really not necessary :). We ordered a shakahuka hummus, cold and warm on same plate interesting but good. Lahmacun was a 10! Thin dough right amount of beef and cooked to perfection! The Vali Kababı (mayor’s kebab) unfortunately was not upto specs chicken was the best thing on that mix and the most important thing is salt and all the dishes need salt and I usually use less or no salt. Adana was not firm enough the meat was not seasoned correctly and was loose, came out cold and was not spicy at all. The desert presentation was overly entertaining with sparklers and dry ice which I feel a bit tacky, it takes away from the quality and elegance. I would much prefer a perfectly fresh made and served profiterole with a gentle acknowledgement of the occasion. It was just too much. The profiteroles had ice cream filling and the puff was not fresh. Breads were so hard for a oven they have I suggest to pre-bake and bake per order a la minute. Decor, menu and music were in their all different worlds not aligned. Music Miami wise club lounge style, menu Middle Eastern, decor felt like amazons with leopard patterns and salsa feeling? The indoor dining room feels too much! It was like a confused bride’s wedding salon. Bathrooms has no indicator on the door other than a red feather to understand it’s womens’. Also very slipshod. After seeing the energy spent for the decor in the dining room you’d expect a bit more love for the bathrooms. Overall we had a good experience but just ok. There is definitely room for improvement considering its a new place. I hope they take my comment constructively and friendly :)

Yelp
Obsessed! Pickle is my new favorite restaurant in Miami Beach. From the moment you step inside, the upscale Mediterranean ambiance makes you feel like you've been transported far away from Washington Ave. The décor is warm, elegant, and instantly sets the tone for a memorable meal. The food is genuinely phenomenal. Every dish we tried was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented--looking back at the photos now, everything still makes my mouth water. The saganaki cheese is a must if you're in for a unique tableside experience with a fireside twist. Each bite is perfection, and the portions are generous, which is rare in Miami. The entire menu was a celebration of Mediterranean flavors that felt both authentic and elevated. Service was excellent, with attentive staff who made sure every detail was just right. If you're craving a Mediterranean escape with phenomenal food right in the heart of Miami Beach, Pickle is a must-visit!

Yelp
New spot, and I believe it will be wildly successful. Amazing ambiance, speedy and sophisticated service, great Turkish food with a wide variety of cold and hot appetizers. So much that we did not have room for main courses. Salt baked branzino is a must see show, next time. This place will he on top of our list for future when it comes to Turkish food.

Yelp
Just left the place on New Year's eve. If i feel like it i will leave details later but for now... one star only and it is for the interior design... the rest does not even deserve one star... total disaster!!!

Yelp
gave 1 star because 0 wasn't an option. Cant wait to see this "Liberace went to JoAnn with a glue gun" inspired decor shut their animal print fabric doors so the jokes of people that is lucky to have a job there have to face the truth. We were placed on an oddly drenched in yellow place. 25 min later we met Daniel. Mark this name. If he was as focusedon being minimally socially acceptable nice as he was to make a mental math to make sure re reached our minimum 100 ppl.... Once i tild him i had questions about the menu I was told to read again and the single piece of paper with insufficient information mas pushed back towards me again. A 45 branzino with sauce as a "side" was ordered among a medium 80 ribeye and 2 appetizers. Daniel had one job and came back to check steak temperature again. We sat under this oddly yellow glow drenching in December . No ac. My brother received a raw chunky meat after refusing the suggestion of a 32oz for 1 ( Daniel assured it was mainly bone) A second round of drinks were ordered but never came. Daniel was dealing with multiple complaints and since his day was going bad he made sure ours wouldn't be good neither. How do I know his name? By asking how do we recover for lack of service, no drinks and a raw chunky of meat. " listen, im not a manager. I dont have an answer " and having enough of a humiliation asked his name. Manager was made aware and obviously do not understand hospitality or english. Daniel came back with a free wine to mend things and splashed water in my face by waving his fingers telling me to take it cause it was free. The 80 pieces of bloody meet cold sitting there was ignored as much as we were ignored by manager. Nothing could have prepared us for this hostility 101 experience. They came back asking for tips. Don't walk away. RUN

Yelp
This new restaurant is located in vibrant South Beach. It has great ambiance and delicious, authentic food. Our waiter was knowledgeable about food and wine choices and helped us navigate the menu. The menu is available online We will definitely return on our next trip to Miami and highly recommend this restaurant.
