The 28 Best Restaurants in Quebec City, Canada | Eater

"Le Pied Bleu celebrates the pig with a nose-to-tail menu that features charcuterie, renowned blood sausages, and Québécois adaptations of classic Lyonnaise dishes. Owners Thania Goyette and Louis Bouchard Trudeau have created a two-in-one destination: On one side, there’s a charcuterie counter featuring a wide array of classic terrines, pates, and sous vide dishes, and on the other, a bouchon where the kitchen mixes Quebec terroir with chef Fabrice Quenehen’s background in France’s Savoie region. Calvados, Beaujolais, and Côtes du Rhône vintages flow in abundance on any given day. Brunch at Pied Bleu is an absolute must, especially with a large group of friends." - Allison Van Rassel

COVID-19: 11 Great Options for Take-Out or Delivery in Quebec City | Eater Montreal

"This Lyon-style bouchon is offering a substantial menu of rich French fare, which you can order online: think duck cassoulet, tartiflette, an array of pâtés, and tarte tatin for dessert; full menus are available too. You can pick up any day at the restaurant or at Au Roi de Boudin’s stand in the Grand Marché du Québec, or else delivery is available to central neighbourhoods such as Limoilou, Vanier, and Saint-Sauveur. Deliveries further afield are an option if you order a day in advance." - Tim Forster

The waiter just bring our whole dinning experience to another level. He is hilarious and kind. Of course the food was good too. Homemade sausages and homemade sauce are really delicious. The veal and onion soup was really good too. The pear tart is not as good as the rum baba Typical French bistro flavour. Generous portion. Definitely recommend it. Only tiny bit to improve is the bread.

Bravo! An exceptional experience. Although slightly off the tourist path in Old Quebec, I highly recommend a visit. Very traditional French Bistro dishes as well as exceptional housemade charcuterie and cheese. Huge portions worthy of sharing. I mean it's as a great compliment to say it reminds me of a Quebec version of Fergus Henderson's St John Bread & Wine in London with the quality of food to match. You can also get house meat and cheese to go! Simple wine list. Great cocktails. Merci Fabrice for your warm hospitality!

Went for breakfast, delicious one indeed. We had: 1. Omelette on skillet with mushrooms and baked potato on side, so delicious 🤤 2. Pancakes on skillet with finger licking sauce, so so so delicious 3. French Toast 4. Vegetarian Sandwich, replaced meat with mushrooms Thank you for the lovely food, great service, accommodating vegetarian request and special mention for getting water bowl for our dog Romeo and having him 🐶❤️

The food was delicious! We had Guinea fowl that came with mouth watering mac and cheese. We also had the sausage plate to which you can choose to get either black pudding, white pudding or their homemade sausages. I personally wasn't impressed with the size and price of the platters (meat and cheese), but those are very popular here. Will definitely come back to try the brunch!

The place is very homey and comfy. They are very kind in accommodating our kids (we have 5 kids in total). Even the menu doesn't show, they made the mac and cheese and smashed potatoes with ham for the kids. There's public parking right opposite the restaurant so it's very convenient! The owner is very friendly and nice to the locals. Probably he knows people around the area. The washroom is very clean too.

We LOVED our meal at Pied Bleu. The cheese and charcuterie are "off the charts" good, the trio of salads were fresh and perfectly flavored, and I'll never forget the tartiflette. But the best part about this spot is the atmosphere and service. Very much a neighborhood spot - excellent enough to draw in visitors but homey enough for the locals, of which there were many. Fabrice was a hilarious delight, keeping us laughing and our glasses topped up with the best red wine. It felt more like dining at the home of an old friend - one you want to keep going back to, again and again. Unpretentious, high quality food. Go!

Now I believe impressive food occurs in somewhere you don’t know, we finished all of them with pleasure and respect, for everyone, even you take a random pick on the menu, the chef’s intelligent can always emerge joy to your tongue. The chef seems so low key, he’s like a Michelin star chef but someone try not to be found, he cooked, at same time he served, he communicated leisurely and the food came out just on time. Pied Bleu has a seasonal menu bead on ingredients they have up-to-date, the chef will recommend! Tell him what you prefer or if you’re open to every flavor, close your eyes and pick one. You must going to miss Pied Bleu so badly when you recall the old Quebec!

When you go to this restaurant, you must be very hungry for meat. Vegetable is a laugh in this restaurant. The atmosphere is very rustic. And the owner made it very well. Food (meat) is simple but amazing. At lunch time, coffee is free. I dont know if it is the same at evening. The staffs are super nice and super motivated when they describe the meal. Unless you want a vegetable meal.
