Awesome pizza! We stopped from visiting downtown and decided to get some pizza from Pie. Zaa. The biggest slices of pizza ever, 1 slice is equivalent to 2-3 regular slices of pizza. Thin crust with a great flavored sauce. Great prices, atmosphere, music and pizza! Centrally located to a lot of great things, great area.

The crust is crispy yet chewy, and the sauce is packed with flavor. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick, whether you’re dining in or taking out. Pie.Zaa gets it!! Pizza is sometimes underrated because its pizza, but if done correctly...its just DELICIOUS. And to be quiet frank Pie. ZAA is DELICIOUS!! AND this place is a VIBE. The atmosphere is laid back really...no pressure. The pizza is crunchy, chewy, succulent sauce and cheese. We had the Roni and ZAApreme with a Pabst and Coors Light. Johnny and Wyatt was great at answering questions and Nick was friendly at pick up. Also went back to take a slice to go! A great night cap for my birthday!! Shout out to the crew your doing GREAT!! We'll be back!!!!

This is one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten, and also the biggest pizza I've ever seen. Despite the size of the huge pizza, it was really filling and special. I hope to go back there in the future. It was a truly unique experience. The staff was also very nice and courteous. We arrived very late and the place was still full of people. This only indicates that it is something different and special.

No food pictures to share as the food was ate before I could picture ha. Crust perfectly crisp and flavorful. Toppings with local ingredients on point. If I could say anything I’d want different it’d be I’d like a little more sauce on my slices but hey I’m saucy lol! Thanks for the recommendation on the local brew it was delicious!

Just enjoyed a fantastic and unusually large slice of pizza while watching Bob Ross on their screen. What a great pairing! The crust was perfect - the bottom was crispy while the top of the crust hit that sweet spot - neither too dry nor too soggy. The bathroom was decorated by a local artist. I think it's a good value because one slice was all I needed.

Definitely stop for a slice between breweries for endurance. Great pie. Largest slice I have seen. Enjoy!

I love the location of this place and how it’s hidden in AVL but do not really like the music they play when your there. It makes me want to wait outside for my food. The service is great and pizza come out quick. I’d say it’s some of the best pizza in town.

Delicious. I thought the size was just a gimmick and worth it just bc it was fun and new, BUT HOLY COW that was some amazing pizza!!!! We all finished them so quick, DONT SKIP ON THE HOUSE RANCH ITS SO GOOD. Staff is quick, food is good, stools by the window were comfy and the view of city lets you people watch. 10/10 good spot to stop at! Edit: it is now 11:00 at night and I'm making plans to get more of this zaa! It would haunt me if I didn't let yall know.. this is so bomb

Five star pizza spot to go to when downtown. Large slices that act as two in my opinion. I have never been disappointed here and love the vibes. They provide Great service at any time.

I've experienced piezaa in charlotte and loved the pizza. Unfortunately I ordered (online) from this location and my order was continually bumped for two hours until it was eventually cancelled. I get that these things happen but when I reached out to the store (which you can only do via email, there is no phone number) they basically blamed the issue on grub hub and said they can't help. This is reaaaally not a good look. I suggest not ordering online from this business.

We came to visit and were craving pizza so ordered from here. I should have read since it says 28" pizza but I clearly missed that part. There were three of us and we ordered the Roni. We had no idea it was going to be so big (again I clearly can't read hahah). Plus the price should have been an indicator. I figured NY style but this was times that by 100. When the delivery person had to get it out of the trunk I knew too. LoL. The pizza was HUGE but truly worth it. It was delicious and we were able to share with the hotel staff! Plus their ranch was good too! One slice def is enough to fill ya up!!

Such a great vibe in this place. The people that work here seem to be having so much fun, music playing, laughing and joking. Such positive energy. They have an excellent craft beer fridge with different choices and the pizza was fantastic. One slice is the size of my face. I had the sausage pizza which was delicious and one slice filled me up. Definitely recommend.

Ordering a pizza here was so quick and easy. It was a small shop thay was very casual. And I dont think I have ordered such a huge pie before omg, we had to put it in our trunk !!! It was delicious. Definitely feeds a lot of people

The perfect late-night eat. I had a craving for NY-style pizza, and this did it. I visited around 10:00 PM on a weekend night and it was busy. This was a good thing as it kept the pizza rotation fresh. I enjoyed my single huuuuuge slice of pepperoni. With just the right amount of cheese and sauce, it was a delight to eat. I picked up some extra sauce on the side for the crust. There's plenty of standing room to eat, and the service is solid. This one is worth the visit.

A couple friends and I stopped in when we drove through town and I'm glad we did. To start we struggled to find parking so one of us had to drive around while the other went to pick up the food. The slices here are huge and tasty. The price is fair. I like how creative some of their pies are. It was worth a stop.

Went to Asheville for a girls weekend--after a few drinks we obviously needed some fuel! This spot hit the spot! The service is spot-on and speedy! The staff was friendly and super helpful. I asked a few questions because I wasn't sure what kind of pizza I wanted to try. I'm so glad I grabbed the garden slice! It had roasted red peppers, artichokes, onions, and mushrooms. I loved the artichokes on it. The decor was super nice too!

Pie-ZAA is located perfectly near the brewery district and is the best possible late night snake after drinking or just plain wanting a munchie snack. Love the vibes of this place, Bob Ross paintings on tv and one of the chefs was constantly cranking out pizzas, you can see it all being made. We got a slice of cheese and pepperoni and man are they massive. Ranch dipping tasty as well. Their NYC style pizza had a unique taste to it, definitely love the pepperoni cups on the pizza. Service is friendly and always on the move, they get you served quickly. Will absolutely be back, great place.

The pizza is HUGE! The Slices are HUGE! The ranch was good. I enjoyed the pizza, but the pizza itself ended up being a little unsettled in my belly. The staff were friendly. I'd consider stopping back because it was good - hoping next time my belly likes it too!

OH. MY. GOOODDNEESS!! Delicious is all I have to say. Very fast and efficient service, so don't get discouraged by the small venue, they get you in and out fast! Went on pi day (3/14) and they were offering slices of cheese pizza for $3.14, which is almost 1/2 off their original pricing. The staff is so friendly, and I love the open kitchen concept as you can see all the cooks laughing and enjoying their work. The pieces are huge! The crust is a delicious, thin, flaky texture and the topping are fresh and delicious. Couldn't travel all this way and not try the cookies too, so amazing and crispy yet soft in the middle. Such an awesome pizza place, they know what they're doing.

No complaints, a great pizza slice. Nicely toasted for a crispy bottom, fast service, friendly workers and great taste. I would definitely return.

Pie.zaa pizza is reliably good and a a great novelty pizza when ordering a whole pie. Kids love it! However, beware that it's almost 32" square so ensure that you have room in your trunk or back seat! There is cozy indoor seating for about 15 people and outdoor seats so we've never been without a seat though probably gets really busy when the nearby breweries begin to close. This is'nt the best pizza in town and I wish they had a few more options such as onions and peppers but there is still something for everyone.

The pizza here is giant, and I mean GIANT! It's a very fun spot to try out. The slices are delicious to boot, though a bit greasy. I couldn't even finish mine! It was ready quickly as well. The ranch was just okay, I probably could have passed on that. Overall very worth it though!

The BEST pizza in Asheville!!!! If you love giant, New-York style slices, you won't be disappointed! We ate here 3 out of 4 nights during our visit- it was THAT good! Great service and a chill atmosphere! Can't wait to return!

LITERALLY THE BEST PIZZA MY SISTER AND I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! Like impeccable, fresh, hot, perfect sauce, perfectly cheesed!! This is truly DELICIOUS! Also the slices are HUGE! I think it's the tastiest crust I've ever had -- pillowy and perfectly cooked. 1000 POINTS TO GRYFFINDOR FOR THIS ONE! I will come here EVERY SINGLE TIME I come to Asheville! The service is wonderful too -- really sweet down to earth people. Really cute space as well, very clean, open and adorable. 11/10.

Have you ever had a 28 inch pizza? If not, you're missing out. Pie.Zaa has some of the largest pizza slices I've seen outside of NYC. Stop by for some classic flavors like pepperoni or try their seasonal specials. Don't forget to get a side of the homemade Zip sauce for dipping. Their service is top notch and always fun! You can catch them live streaming their pizza making on a daily basis through their IG.

Tried this while on vacation. The pepperoni slice was good, and the Sweet Caroline got great reviews from our group. My slice was a bit charred on the bottom, but was otherwise enjoyable. What we got was a great value for the money, especially considering the size of the slices. Not a ton of seating, and is located in an odd spot, but the staff is really cool. Ultimately, this is a good spot to grab a slice if you're walking around Asheville.

Excellent NY-style slices. Cheese and sauce go well together and the sausage has a nice unique flavor. Crust is perfect, with soft yet crisp outside that lends to easy and durable folding for easy eats. And you'll definitely need to fold it, as these slices are enormous! They are quite expensive, but when you consider one slice is almost the size of two slices, it is a bit more reasonable.

Definitely reminiscent of NYC pizza! Also, the serving size?!? HOLY COW!! If you are a sweets person I recommend getting their cookies as well! (Not pictured) but absolutely amazing and on the larger scale as well!

Chill little pizza joint. Super large slices and the toppings change often. Pizza is thin crust style and very good. Service is friendly and attentive. Have canned beer from local breweries. Looking for a good quick pizza lunch spot this is it.

This is the only place in Asheville where you can not only find pizza slices as big as a grown man's face, but also... edibles and beer on tap? In many ways this is a quintessential Asheville joint. The slices are enough to feed one person, and they always come out hot and fresh. Seating area is small but the vibes are friendly and welcoming. Great for a post brewery jaunt, as it is in close proximity to many of Asheville's best watering holes. It's touristy but the grub is good enough to overlook this.

Probably the best pizza I've had in a long time. Highly recommend whether you're buying a slice or a whole 28" pizza ! Delicious

Huge slices of pizza! I tried the cheese pizza, it wasn't oily and the sauce was good. The staff was friendly and the pizza was not overly priced.

I have eaten at BOTH PIE.ZAA locations before. The food is delicious and I am a big fan, so it really hurts my heart to write such a poor review, but the way I was treated last night at this PIE.ZAA was beyond terrible. I placed an order online at 9:11 pm for THREE Get Baked slices. Overall, my order total was 32$. I was at work and getting out late so I placed it for pick up at 11:15 pm. Admittedly, I get there a little later around 11:45, but I still expected my food to be ready. However when I get there they say they "sold out" of the get baked pie and only had a cheese and pepperoni left for me to pick from. I explained I placed my order 2 hours ago, but they still said they "sold out" and that was what was left. A man in the background said they stopped making pizzas 10 minutes before I got there, which would have been 11:35. Again, my order pickup time was for 11:15, so three slices of pizza should have been set aside between the time I ordered and the time I went to pick it up. I do not like pepperoni, so they sent me home with ONE single cheese slice, since I was so hungry, I didn't want to leave empty handed. However, I should not have to spend $32 on the flavors I didn't ask for. This was beyond frustrating because I just came out of a double shift from MY food service job, where I was packing orders and making sure they were accurate for the customers. So when I was treated with less than what I JUST spent 12 hours doing made me BEOYND upset. These three slices were gonna be my dinner tonight AND my Thanksgiving meal. This was ALSO a 40 minute round trip for me, so this experience was a waste of time, gas, and money. The service tonight was absurd, and I did contact PIE.ZAA to get my FULL refund back. EDIT: I have contacted PIE.ZAA for my refund. I will be getting my refund as well as a 25$ gift card. Customer service via email was a much better experience. They explained to me that since Hurricane Helene, they have been making only pepperoni and cheese pizzas late at night. Special pies like the Get Baked pie are not made to minimize overconsumption. I wish that was explained to me by the employees, but I understand that it was late, as well as the night before a holiday. I had just gotten out of my own food service job which I mentally checked out of hours ago. So, I completely understand the feeling. Maybe, if there was a way to turn off ordering the specialty pies passed a certain time online, it would make things less confusing. I know there are ways to do it on other ordering systems, but I am not sure about smaller locations such as PIE.ZAA. Either way, I am glad the situation was sorted, and I'll be making great use of the $25 gift card. I'll just try to go in a little earlier next time so I can snag a Get Baked slice!

Great little spot downtown. Quick and friendly service, the staff seemed to enjoy their jobs. Stop in and grab a beer and a slice of pizza. Or order one to go (if you can fit a whole one in your car) Get the zip sauce!

Guys you need this pizza. The dudes working here are great too. They literally had Bob Ross playing on a TV in the kitchen that the whole restaurant could see. If that doesn't give you the vibes of this place, I'm not sure what will. The sizes are HUGE - a single slice is more than enough for one person, but then you can get a kitchen table-sized pizza. Like, I wish I had enough friends to share that with. I would advocate that every town needs a pizza joint like this, and PIE.ZAA really has this down. Honestly, round of applause for these guys.

The thing is this place boast is pizza, the size of your face. And in that department it definitely does not disappoint. The pizza itself is also quite good. I like that they have one thing, and they really stick to being experts with it. This cute little shop has a great location and is excellent for lunch. Dinner, and/or late night. Definitely one piece was plenty for me for a meal. They always have a couple classics and one routine special. When I went here, the rotating special was vegetarian so I was thrilled. It was a delicious white pizza called something with the word snow. Had balsamic, and lots of good cheese. I do love red sauce, so that was a little sad. You do have to come here kind of knowing and expecting that you won't get a lot of say. But I think there is a beauty and not having too many options especially these days. The staff were really nice, and the place was always a buzz I was a little frustrated that they had no water for drinking on tap. You had to purchase water or a drink at a really expensive price if you wanted something to quench your thirst. I also was a little frustrated that they didn't have plates big enough for their pizza. Instead, they gave everybody two plates and spread out the plates to hold the pizza. It might even be better to just give everyone the pizza in to go containers? At least it fits then. Or maybe they could have plates for people eating there? There has to be a more eco-friendly way, right? Anyway, solid pizza choice. They also had a few other treats like morsel, chocolate chip cookies. Incredibly dense and absolutely delicious, this was a great addition. Did you have nice wine and beer options as well. I think they're all in cans but reasonably priced. Overall, I'd definitely go back

We stopped here for lunch during our trip to Asheville. You have the option to order an entire pie or you can order by the slice. Their pies and slices are HUGE. My boyfriend ordered a plain cheese slice and I tried their December special, Snowdazed, which had mozzarella, ricotta, basil, sun dried tomatoes, and balsamic glaze. We also ordered a cup of their Zip sauce for dipping our crusts. Both slices were very tasty, the crust had a good texture and I loved the balsamic glaze on my slice and how it blended well with the other flavors. The Zip sauce had a nice little kick. I couldn't quite finish my slice due to how large it was, but my boyfriend happily finished it for me. People working here were friendly. Overall, this was a solid pizza spot and I'd happily go back if I'm in the area again!

On our way to S Slope brewery and this pizza was awesome! Ordered by the slice (huge!) and very tasty. Crust was crisp and hot. Had the sausage and the cheeseburger special -both were great and we will be back!

What a great idea. These pizza slices are huge! This is a great place to be able to get food very quickly that is also very good. You pick your slice and then they put it in the oven. 40 seconds later you have your food. There are limited choices but that's a good thing. It makes the process of deciding and getting your food that much faster. There's definitely something for everyone in terms of choice: cheese, pepperoni, and vegetable pizza seem OK to always be out on the display case. The seating is all counter style and circles around the building. It's not a very large building and there is street parking as well as a parking lot nearby.

Stopped by because who doesn't want a giant slice of pizza? We were greeted when we walked in and it didn't take long to order. I enjoyed watching these monstrosities of pizzas getting made behind the counter because these things are huge! They quickly heated our slices up and passed them to us. We decided to sit outside because it's a beautiful day and we're in Asheville so why not enjoy the views? The pizza was delicious and one slice is more than enough however, if you're feeling frisky go for two. Definitely enjoyed my time here and will be coming back!

Pizza was FIIIIIIRE and I been all around the country. Cool little spot too. Interesting place it's in.

Food arrived ahead of schedule- hot and ready! HUGE pizza! The roni pizza had plenty of pepperoni, cheese & sauce and was topped all the way to the edges. Cooked through well, too! I ordered it to be double cut seeing that the pieces are torso sized. A very good pizza that we will order again. ? Garlic butter cooked into the crust was REALLY tasty

Friendly staff. Pizza by the slice. Limited Choices. Pizza was good but not necessarily great. Parking was a bit of a nuisance - Had to pay to park. Better than average.

Pie.zaa pizza is a must in AVL. Huge slices you have to fold to eat, very tasty. Cute, clean little take out spot. There is a handful of slices ready to eat option, or you choose made to order and patiently wait for the deliciousness. Be sure to make room for the huge pizza box! You may have to strap it to the roof of your car!

Pizza was AMAZING!! Huge pies or single slices! Taste was amazing better than the pizza we had in New York! Service was great walk up counter order and pickup very quick. Can't wait to go back. Don't forget the cookies they're HUGE!

My new FAVORITE place in Asheville!! Wow!! I have been craving a thin, large slice of really good pizza recently and now I have found my spot!! I've been twice in the past week :) The first lunch was a dine-in experience. I ordered the Roni slice and Uncle Thom ordered the Snowdazed slice. Keep in mind, Thom rarely eats carbs these days and is very diligent about his carb count. Being the good niece that I am, I didn't tell him we were going to eat pizza! I know his favorite type of pizza is a white pizza and their December special is a white pizza called Snowdazed; with white sauce, fresh mozzarella, fresh ricotta, sun dried tomatoes, basil and a balsamic glaze. I knew Uncle Thom was really excited because he took out his phone to snap a pic and send to his friend before he even tried a bite! Don't think I remember him every taking pics of his food any of the times we've dined out together...so I knew it was going to be a good spot! The second lunch was carry-out slices for the office. Got one of each slice and everyone devoured the massive pizza slices. Much of the lunch conversation was about the size of the slices. I have not ordered a whole pizza, but a very nice family allowed me to take a pic of their huge pizza. Okay, I'm easily amused, and the bathroom signs were hysterical! One on the outside and one on the inside. HeHeHe!!
