The 25 Best Restaurants In Orlando 2024

"There are classic barbecue joints, and then there’s Pig Floyd’s. It’s probably the only place in town where you can find smoked brisket, ribs, and pulled pork on tostadas and bánh mìs with the option of slathering everything in tikka masala sauce. And somehow, it all works. Their bento boxes are also pretty good, especially the chopped chicken with pineapple and a side of spicy BBQ sauce. Come for a casual lunch or dinner, preferably on the large covered patio. " - cheryl rodewig, gabe bergado, ryan pfeffer, macy johnson

Orlando’s 38 Best Restaurants - Eater Miami

"The Latin influence in Pig Floyd’s quality barbecue comes courtesy of owner Thomas Ward’s Puerto Rican heritage – maduros, fried yuca, and rice and beans go along faultlessly with everything from luscious brisket to succulent St. Louis-style ribs to flavorful pulled pork. Even juicy spiced-rubbed chicken is worth coming back for. Those meats can also be enjoyed inside sweet rolls, flour tortillas, or bento boxes. Sauces are just as diverse. Google
A delicious lunch before heading back to Miami. Great food, great service and reasonably priced. The coleslaw was good but I prefer mine more creamy. The parking was a little hassle but worth the wait. Definitely coming back!

Google
Cuban-bbq-Asian fusion! 🍱 🐖 🍖 Very delicious food and reasonable prices. I got the two tacos and a side except I ordered one taco over rice and another over greens. Their taste and portions are wonderful! They have very nice covered outside seating, perfect for breezy days. My friends had bento boxes, the Pig Floyd, tacos and tostadas and it was all delicious! Highly recommend on a chill afternoon with no hurry. Both the line and the parking get packed for lunch hour so come early.

Google
The Brisket and Ribs were pretty good. We liked that you can have maduros with your 2-meat order. This is a great Florida-style Barbecue experience (fusing Cuban, Southern, and Vietnamese) to bring friends when in town. Also, prices and portions are good.

Google
We saw this place and the high reviews and we wanted to check it out. We came with a moderate group of people around lunch and we had plenty of seating which was nice. The vibes in here were awesome with the art and the music but the food was okay. We ordered the ribs with plantains and Mac and cheese and the price was not bad for two people. However, the ribs were tender but the flavor was alright even with the sauce and the Mac and cheese was just average. Plantains were good but it’s hard to mess those up. Overall, the food was good and I enjoyed my experience but I don’t think I’ll be returning😃

Google
Update: The brisket is always amazing! The service is most often outstanding. The atmosphere is also great! The food at Pig Floyd’s was amazing! Particularly the pulled pork stood out and was excellent; but everything else was delicious. I highly recommend checking it out.

Google
I recently visited Pig Floyd’s for the first time, and I’m so glad I discovered this gem! Their pulled pork, paired with their signature BBQ sauce, is absolutely incredible. The unique ambiance adds so much charm to the experience(I loved it)! The rice and beans were outstanding, and the Mexican corn and maduros were just as amazing. I’m thrilled to have found this place and can’t wait to return soon!

Super delicious!! The ribs and sandwich were good. The service was great. I will definitely go back.

Google
I recommend the Plain Jane pulled pork sandwich. The sliced beef platter is all good with 2 sides. I've been 3 times in 1 month since discovering this restaurant.

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch while exploring Mills50, and wasn't disappointed! I got the plain jane pulled pork sandwich with perfectly seasoned fries, and a diet coke. Service was super quick and friendly. I loved all of the signage and decor around the restaurant, too. Tip - get both the hot and sweet sauces to mix them together for the perfect sauce for both your sandwich and fries.

Yelp
Food: So far, the only thing I like is the fries. They are crispy with the Mexican street corn making it super yummy. The bento box - the amount of jasmine rice made me sad because it's not a lot for the amount of chicken. It comes with a lot of black beans though. The chicken has a decent taste but kinda dry though. The fortune cookie was already open so it was extremely stale. I was disappointed in that. The pulled pork was good. You can pick from a hot or sweet bbq sauce to it. Service: We were never given a table # so they kept asking a different group if they ordered my order. I kept yelling "I think that's my order" but they didn't hear me twice. They went around asking whose order this was and finally came to us. The guy didn't seem happy after we told him that was our order and it was our fault we didn't have a table #. We were never given one. It wasn't that busy for them to get so confused. I wasn't fond of that interaction. They did go around after asking people if they needed anything so that was nice. Ambiance: it's a cute little place with indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is completely covered so that is nice.

Yelp
Came here for dinner for the first time with hubby. We ordered the Mexican street corn fries, banh mi with chicken thighs and green beans side, and a 2 meat combo platter of brisket, pulled pork, Mexican street corn, and mac n cheese. Total came out to approximately $50. What's hot - Menu. Pretty good variety. There appears to be something for everyone, probably with the exception of vegans. There are salad options, which you could probably order without meat. - Quality. Out of everything we ordered, hubby and I liked the Mexican street corn fries appetizer the best. It had a good flavor with a good amount of corn and cojita cheese. I've had better Banh Mi (see my comments below), but I will say the flavor was pretty good. They have fresh sliced jalapenos, which is a must and definitely gives the sandwich a kick. The pickled vegetables included have a nice vinegar flavor and are delicious, as well. The sauce in the sandwich adds a nice flavor and helps coat some of the meat, which helped detract from the dryness of some of the meat. The green beans I ordered as a side were pretty good. You can taste the soy sauce and the green beans were tender. - Portions. Pretty good size, especially to share. In that sense, good value for money. In terms of good value for money for quality, see my comments below. - Service. Pretty good and efficient. We didn't have to wait very long for our order to be ready. What's not - Parking. There is a small parking lot around the restaurant, but it's not very big. Most of the parking signs for the spots specifically state those spots are for the restaurant's customers, which is a good thing. However, that there are signs that are that specific leads me to believe that parking can be pretty tough to find around this area, depending on the day and time, so be prepared. - Quality. Not bad, but we've definitely had better. For example, some of the chicken thigh meat in my Banh Mi sandwich was dry, which was surprising, because dark meat is supposed to be more moist and tender. Hubby said his brisket and pulled pork was a bit dry, and not as moist as it should be. He said he was adding the BBQ sauce more to add moistness, rather than adding flavor. His mac n cheese side was also dry and not very cheesy, which was also disappointing. - Inside seating. It's a small layout inside and not many tables and chairs, so be prepared to not find seating depending on the day and time you go. There are a few tables outside, but that's going to be dependent on the weather. - Acoustics. They were playing loud music. Specifically, when my husband and I were at the front counter giving our order, we had a tough time hearing the questions the staffer was asking us. That it was difficult hearing someone from across the counter is not a good sign. Additionally, the volume of the music made it extremely difficult to have a simple conversation with the person sitting next to you at the same table. Final Answer Might be willing to come back, but not a first choice.

Yelp
I visited Pig Floyd's with friends for lunch yesterday and had a good experience. I ordered the Mills 50 Cheesesteak and Yuca Frita. The Cheesesteak had a soft bun filled with smokey, tender and meaty brisket, creamy pimento cheese, and roasted red peppers and onions. The Yuca was dense and savory with a nice crisp outside.

Yelp
I have been coming to Pig Floyd's for years and I believe it is one of the most consistent and best restaurants I have been to. The staff is obviously well trained and takes care of their restaurant and customers. Walking in you can look at the board menu or take a printed menu. You walk up to the counter to order and take a number to your table. I have tried many different menu items, and today I went for a piglet meal of a pork quesadilla with a side of fries. It was a nice amount of food, and I can't wait to be back again. There is indoor and outdoor seating and the music vibes are usually throwbacks and hip hop.

Yelp
I've ordered deluvery from here a couple of times and the dishes are always hit or miss. I like that there is variety of items on the menu -- something for everyone! Every time I've ordered, I've never recieved the sauces, which left the BBQ meats like pulled pork and ribs a little dry and flavourless. I contacted their team on how to ensure I receive the sauces in the future and although they responded, they didn't have any answers. I would order their tacos again but plan to find a new BBQ spot.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday even though it was busy the staff were attentive, friendly, and cheerful. The Korean brisket bowl was plentiful- the brisket was very good flavorful and the sauce had a good kick to it. My wife got the Plain Jane on a gluten free roll with rice and beans. They do a great job of accommodating people with gluten allergies.

Yelp
Food 10/10 meat cooked to perfection, a bit salty was the only problem, sauces were amazing Atmosphere 7/10 rustic counter top service, line moves fast Service 10/10 no waiter/waitress service but they were fast and nice when ordering Tips : no reservation There is free parking There are many tables in doors and outdoors
google avatar

Yelp
The ordering process is very simple, where you look at a menu while you wait in line and order! The food was brought out fairly quickly, and the meat was very flavorful and moist; the combination of the coleslaw, fries, and meats were perfect. For the street corn, I kind of wished that they didn't have it on the cob since it was a little messy to eat. But overall, I would definitely come back!!
google avatar

Yelp
Pig Floyd's is likely known for their meat. The sides were terrible. At typical BBQ joints, when you are on that last bite of mac n cheese you're almost upset. You are looking at your companions bowl and asking if they are going to finish the rest of theirs. The Mac n cheese I had from here was quite the opposite. After my first bite I had to make the decision on whether to power through it or give it away. The green beans were no different. The meat was solid. The ribs were okay. But the pulled pork was excellent This wasn't my first Pig Floyd's experience. But certainly my worst.

Yelp
Mills 50 area gem We came on a Sunday at 1:30 for an early dinner - street corn fries, which are french fries with the cilantro, garlic aïoli sauce the Mexican street corn cheese and toppings. They were delicious fries were crispy. A lot of extra toppings to dip in my favorite dish. - 6 st sticky ribs. The sauce was sweet and spicy, and had an order of the Cuban rice and beans they were full of flavor. - Got a kid chicken tenders and fries. Can't really mess those up so that was a good. - gotta pick two plate with brisket and chopped chicken thighs. The brisket was delicious. The chicken thighs were a little dry. I had it with macaroni and cheese and string corn. The street corn was hard for me to eat, but that's OK. The mac & cheese was made well. Everything was full of flavored definitely a great fusion between American barbecue Asian and Mexican The parking lot is a little small. They have indoor outdoor seating. It's a good place for family and kids to grab a great fight. Service was amazing. The staff was great and was able to answer any questions we have and get good suggestions. Restaurant is definitely a casual environment not super loudly. Lots of seating inside and staff was very tentative.

Yelp
Let me start by saying this... I hate coleslaw with a passion, BUT I COULD EAT POUNDS OF THEIR APPLE FENNEL SLAW. The staff was very friendly even though we didn't realize what time they were closing (we were planning on dining-in but when we realized they were closing within 45 minutes, we took our order to-go (which is why the food is pictured on plates at home haha)). The restaurant itself is small but has some cool artwork. There is a whole patio area also that dogs are welcome at. My boyfriend got the Mills 50 Cheesesteak with yuca frita as his side. The fancy sauce it came with was decent, but I think it would taste better with a cilantro garlic sauce instead. I got the Plain Jane Sliced Brisket sandwich with a side of the apple fennel slaw (which I immediately put on my sandwich... no regrets AT ALL about that). We got an additional side of the French fries (pictured on our lovely paper plate). The French fries were pretty normal tasting... I'm not sure why they are considered a "fancy side". Beers are typically priced. I got a tall boy IPA and it was around $9. My boyfriend got a 12 oz IPA that was around $8. They switch out their beers every so often which is neat because I love trying new beers. Overall, great BBQ sammies! I definitely want to try their tacos at some point.

Yelp
Interesting place. I had my reservations about the BBQ but after ordering the brisket and beans I was amazed at the level of flavor achieved in this dish. Service with a smile and an interesting environment makes this one place ill be coming back to again.

Yelp
Pig Floyd's has good food. I had the daily special which was lime chicken wings. The wings were crispy on the outside but juicy on the inside. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. If you're in the area, stop by. You won't be sorry
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered the chicken bahn mi to go. When I opened the box, I removed the cilantro because it was brown and wilted (ate 10 mins after getting). The majority of the sandwich was bread, it was disappointing. I've had the bahn mi before which was incredible so maybe it was an off day?

Yelp
Been there once Good food. Barbeque was AIght. I felt my politics didnt jive with the stores so i wont be returning

Yelp
A delicious lunch before heading back to Miami. Great food, great service and reasonably priced. The coleslaw was good but I prefer mine more creamy. The atmosphere is very casual and open, very relaxed, The parking was a little hassle but worth the wait. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
Visiting family here in Orlando and this is by far the best bbq I have ever had...period, end of story! I will DEFINITELY be coming back EVERY time I'm in Orlando.

Yelp
Solid barbecue. However, doesn't rise to the level of four rivers. Needs a better selection of sides and deserts
google avatar

Yelp
I had lunch at Pig Floyd's on a Sunday afternoon. There were several other people there, but not super crowded. The staff was very friendly. You order at the counter, take a number, and seat yourself. They have indoor and outdoor seating. My party of 3 each ordered the brisket sandwich. The brisket was tender and delicious, but the bread was dry and broke apart easily. My Mexican style street corn was tasty, and so were the fries and the baked beans, but the mac and cheese was lacking flavor. They have several interesting sounding options on their menu, including options for kids.

Yelp
Visitor from VA. Came after leaving the museum and ordered the Urban Tacos- Bitter chicken $5.99 each and came with a side. Yummy came highly recommended by another regular. Flavors are good and the food came super quick. If getting the butter chicken tacos don't get the Jasmine rice Cuban black beans for a side. Too much rice so didn't really finish my side. Also tried my husbands street corn which was delicious.

Yelp
Easy solid 9. I really like their idea and execution of fusion bbq. They've really evolved their concept, my original review wasn't so nice when they were new. It's a fun place. People like coming here. That's the vibe when I've been in with colleagues who really enjoyed themselved and had a good time. Firstly, everyone's always consistently been very friendly, helpful, and nice. I like the bbq here, overall, with a few misgivings here and there. Like today's pork belly tacos' pork belly was tough for everyone in our party who ordered them. Delicious, but hard to eat. Ribs are always a hit here, especially in the bento box. Love that Big Floyd!
google avatar

Yelp
While in the area decided to stop in and check out this bbq restaurant we found on yelp. While here we grabbed a menu and waited in line to place our order. We both decided to split a platter, we sat and the wait staff brings you your food. The food was good, we got brisket and chicken, fries and a side of elote. No complaints. The spot was trendy and had cool decor. If ever back in the area, will stop back in to try something else.

Yelp
After discussing lunch options with a local Elite, we selected this unique eatery in Orlando's Mills 50 District for our meal. It was a bonus that the original Pig Floyd's Urban Barbakoa was named by Yelp as the best barbeque in Florida for 2023. That's quite a distinction given how large the state is. I wouldn't call this place a shack, but the setup had a roadhouse vibe to it with a nice balance of indoor seating and an outdoor covered patio. By sheer luck, there was no one in the queue ahead of us when we arrived. As soon as we sat down after ordering, customers started showing up en masse. A menu screen and a board were posted on the wall to the right of the line. Asian and Mexican influences were prominent such as bento boxes, banh mi sandwiches, tacos, and street corn. My friend, who has been a frequent customer, went with his old standby. The Big Floyd was the signature item out of the three Notorious Sandwiches. Smoked brisket, pulled pork, sausage, and citrus peanut slaw were topped with french fries and served on a brioche bun. He picked the Yuca Frita as a fancy side. I opted for a trio of Urban Tacos, each of which was served on a flour tortilla and priced at $4.99. * 813 - pulled pork, sausage, gold BBQ sauce, pickles, cotija * Pork Belly - deep fried pork belly, dragon sauce, citrus peanut slaw, mandarins, toasted peanuts, scallions, black sesame seeds * Butter Chicken - jasmine rice, chargrilled chicken thighs, tikka masala sauce, pepitas, greek yogurt, jalapeno, cilantro First off, the tacos were large for the cost. These types of fusion mashups could easily be twice as expensive in my hometown where the taco game is uber competitive. The 813 was a tribute to the Tampa area code. Arguably, that was where the Cuban sandwich was invented. The pork, gold sauce, and pickles were a nod to that culinary invention. The Pork Belly was the best executed of the three as I loved how the citrus from the slaw and mandarins provided a fruity contrast to the fatty cut of meat. The Butter Chicken did not stand out like the first two as the flavors of this Indian-inspired creation were muddled.

Yelp
Pig Floyd's Urban Barbacoa- This evening we are eating here for date night. We sat down and in about five minutes our food was delivered to our table. The service here is super quick and the food is absolutely yummy. For my meal I got the brisket platter with two sides of a baked beans. The baked beans as always slap. The brisket is so juicy and so moist it melts in your mouth. My sauce of choice this time is the hot barbecue it has a nice sweetness and a little bit of thing at the finish. The brisket and hot barbecue sauce to the wind is out of this world! I definitely recommend here! It's right off of mills on the left hand side of the street. Pick is right across the street from Pop Thai and poor choice tap-house. 10/10

Yelp
First time to Pig Floyd's after hearing about this restaurant for years. We ordered the Plain Jane Brisket Sandwich ($12.49) with sweet bbq sauce on the side and a side of Mexican Street Corn ($3.99) on the side and a Citrus Salad with chicken ($14.99). Starting with the positive, the brisket has an excellent smoky flavor and can stand in its own without any sauce. It is also pretty lean which makes it pretty perfect. The bun was tasteless so I left that on the plate. The sauce had an odd taste that I didn't care for so we left that. We ordered the Mexican Street Corn off of the cob and the corn was nice and firm as it should be. I cannot say that we enjoyed the taste as it was overwhelmed with peppery spice. The Citrus Salad was huge and could easily be shared. The smoked chicken, noodles, pickled onions and peanuts made it enjoyable but the dressing was overly peppery, so we weren't able to even eat half. While we are happy that we came, I feel like they are heavy on the peppery spices. When most of the taste on your mouth is overwhelmed with pepper, it doesn't motivate me to have a need to return. However, if you are a person who loves high peppery flavor, this is probably a good spot for you. They have both indoor and covered outdoor seating. It feels clean and inviting and the staff is friendly and nice.

Yelp
We stopped here after leaving the science museum while on vacation. I couldn't decide on what to order , but decided on the platter with brisket and pulled pork and it didn't disappoint . Great local spot!

Yelp
Ordered catering for 5 ppl. Food was good but wish it was served hot as smoked bbq needs to be hot.

Yelp
Have had my eye on this place for some time. It was recommended by a good friend, and it did not disappoint our cravings! I got the pick 2 combo platter and chose Brisket & Pork Belly with green beans and Mac 'n cheese being my 2 sides. As a bonus, I got the Hialeah Lager to pair with the savory goodness. The brisket melted in my mouth like water, the Mac 'n cheese was sooooo creamy, warm, and was like butter in my mouth. I also got the honey Sriracha dipping sauce which had the kick that was perfect for my spicy pallet. The best part was we sat outside on their patio and as they played throwback jamz I felt like I was at an early 2000's backyard BBQ gathering. With a cool temperature of 76 and the 5 o'clock sunset it was the perfect atmosphere after a long week of work. On top of that, it was pretty lively when we got there but upon waiting about 5-8 mins in line we ordered our food and it was out in about 10-15 mins. Very quick and the service was great! Highly recommend this as a go-to spot for superb BBQ!!! They have a small parking lot for only a couple cars, but fear not! there is extra parking on the street right behind the lot. :)

Yelp
This was such a cool unique place, loved the decor and feel of it. The food was delicious, the pork juicy and flavorful. Plus the portion sizes are not bad. We liked the beer selection, many unique options.
google avatar

Cindy L.

Yelp
We ate at this restaurant today. We found the pulled pork and brisket to be over cooked and extremely dry, which was disappointing. The sauce on side was a meager portion (1-2 tablespoons). Surprised there weren't any sauce containers on the tables. On the positive side, the bbq sauce was flavorful and the BBQ baked beans were delicious. The employees were friendly too.
google avatar

Lexy D.

Yelp
I had a great experience ordering catering from here for my husbands Christmas party. The food was a hit and set up was easy with the serving utensils I added to my order. Staff even helped carry the food out to my car-very unexpected but appreciated. Next time I get catering I know where I will be ordering! Leftovers were great too!

Alissa W.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with 3 friends. 2 of my friends sandwhich came out about 15 minutes before my other friend and i's meals. Definitely made it awkward when they had basically finished their food, and ours still hadn't arrived. No one really acknowledged it, I'd say service was good but clearly they were overwhelmed. Our brisket unfortunately was so dry! Which I feel like as a bbq place should be the one thing you get right. But contrary the pork and corn was amazing. Best I've ever had. There was a good amount of seating. Unfortunately my friend had recommended black rooster across the street, and i definitely shouldn't have pushed to try this new place.

Yelp
Happening to be around Mills Ave and decided to stop by Pig Floyd's, first time visiting this place and I love it. If you are a fan of bbq this is tbe place. Great ambiance, big inside and outside sitting. Their parking lot is a little small but you can also park along Lang Ave behind their bulding or by Mills Ave. They have a great variety of food I got the Oakwood smoked brisket and the big floyd sandwich. The platter comes with two sides i got tbe baked beans and french fries and for the sandwich it comes with one side i got the Mexican street corn. Everything was so tasty and the meat was tender. You can either order to go or dine in. Staff is so friendly. When you walk in to order, they have a board on tbe wall with their avariable meats or sold out. Their walls are decorated with BBQ paints.

Yelp
Grabbed a quick lunch and it was a win! Service was faster than my hunger and the food was as fresh as a daisy. Had pork with rice and beans on the side - simple and tasty!

Yelp
We've enjoyed Pig Flyod both on their lovely patio and from the comfort of our home, thank you uber eats! My personal favorites are the dragon green beans and the butter chicken tacos. Don't sleep on the tacos. When we ordered delivery they were offering bogo tacos and I ordered the butter chicken, pork belly and cheeseburger. My husband loved the pork belly. When we dined on the patio with friends I enjoyed my bento, friends raved about the cheesesteak. Everyone enjoyed the elote fries, definitely a must. It's a shame the pulled pork is kinda meh. You definitely want to try the more interesting dishes here and stay away from the traditional.
google avatar

Yelp
Always have fun specials, and something for everyone. I'm personally obsessed with the street corn fries. Servers are always so kind! Love the new patio seating as well can't wait to enjoy it in cooler weather.

Yelp
Taste: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Great quick stop dining restaurant. Interesting menu, BBQ-Asian-Latin mix but they seem to do it all well. Food came out minutes after ordering and everything was delicious. They have both indoor and outdoor covered seating. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Parking lot is small so you may need to find alternative parking but other than that I'd definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
I opted for a pulled pork sandwich with a side salad. My salad had a decorous black pepper ginger dressing. The coleslaw was on the drier side for my sandwich kinda tasted like plain shredded cabbage, nothing that special. The pulled pork was decent but seemed to not be moist enough. It was a decent lunch and new spot to try but I most likely won't be returning. There is ample parking in their lot outside, service was efficient as you order at the counter and then your food will come out.

Yelp
Pig Floyd's is an awesome BBQ joint near the milk district on Mills Ave. I've had their incredibly delicious bbq sandwiches and shrimp tacos many of times and really like this place.

Yelp
The food is amazing. Great service and not a bad wait time for the quality of meat. Chill ambience with outdoor seating. Sticky ribs were our fav!

Yelp
Their Brisket was the greatest meat I ever ate. With a pint of pale ale and Cole slaw and beans. I cleaned my plate. A perfect lunch.

Yelp
Was looking forward to the food because it was so highly recommended here in help...unfortunately, I was immensely underwhelmed. The pork belly was by far the biggest disappointment. The only thing I would recommend that we ordered would be the loaded fries. Can't remember the name of it but it's basically loaded fries. Service was great when order was taken not so great afterwards...had to walk up and request refills and there were a lot of ppl standing around talking behind the bar who saw me walk up and didn't bother to ask how they could help. I want to like this place bc it had a pretty cool vibe. Would be willing to give this place another opportunity in the future but for right now I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Yelp
I was literally blown away like smoke from a smoker holy. I went at 7:30 on a Saturday & they literally had no main course (IE; brisket, chicken, etc) left besides 1/2 rack of ribs, and they were AMAZING. We ordered, sat down and our starter came out as soon as we sat down LITERALLY I have no gotten the food so fast. We got the street corn as the starter & even though it got to us fast we thought that meant it was sitting around and was going to be cold... THEY WERE FRESH AND CRISPY AND ISK HOW THEY DO IT. I settled for pork belly tacos and THE TORTILLA NEVER RIPPED AND FELL APART ON ME. The tacos were stuffed & the pork belly was extras crispy & it's truly an 8th wonder of the world how the tortilla had so much elasticity and kept it all together and tasted yummy I was scientifically stumped. The max & cheese was exceptional & the yuca frita's chefs kisses! I cannot wait to go back and try more stuff! Parking can be difficult depending on the time of day but idc I'll walk from home if I have too! Also the servers were so nice & friendly Please make sure to tip them (':

Yelp
--Tip-- Wifi password is "treehouse" --Location/Parking-- Located in north of downtown, Orlando. There looks to be plenty of parking on the back and there was street parking on the main intersection. I drove by this place several times and never noticed it from the street. There is a big sign on their patio fence which helped my Uber driver. --Ambience-- Feels like a typical BBQ restaurant with an outdoor seating. The entrance draws you right into the line and on the wall, you can see the menu and decide beforehand. The menu has items that are labeled when an item is sold out, which is common for a BBQ joint. --Service/Staff-- Service was friendly. The cashier recommended some BBQ options and employees running around came to my table several times to refill my drink. Great service! --Food/Products-- I ordered my recommended chicken curry taco which was a delicious chicken curry over rice on a soft tortilla. Highly recommend. The Plantains banana is straight out of a Latin American restaurant. This is off the hook and is a go to for me. The pulled pork tostada works well with the hard corn tortilla shell. I don't think there was a bad thing on the menu. --Capacity-- Indoors has limited seating, but I came on holiday weekend and there was plenty of indoor seating. There is an outdoor covered patio so you can eat during the rain and during day in the blazing hot summer. --Overall-- I will be back as one of my stops in Orlando, The standout for me was the fried banana side dish and the Chicken curry taco.

Yelp
Delicious bbq in a fun setting. Parking is a little scarce but if you're okay with walking try the streets behind the restaurant. Everyone was so friendly. We weren't sure what to order & they offered suggestions. The portion sizes were plentiful and we all left satisfied. Will definitely return!

Yelp

Yelp
I came to Pig Floyd with a friend and her family after church and the food was good. I didn't give this restaurant five stars because of a few reasons: 1. The restaurant parking lot is INCREDIBLY small and the street parking has restrictions on the times you can park. We were told we could park at the Dentist Office next door, but that they were not reliable for what happened to the car. 2. The fountain drink did not have free refills. Why have a fountain for drinks if you're going to charge for a second refill? But... It's not the end of the world. I just personally didn't like the attitude given when I was told I needed to "pay for that." I would highly recommend ordered the Platter because you get the best bank for your buck. The Platter allows you to pick two meats and two sides. I loved the portion sizes for the Platter and definitely think it could even fit two people. When you get to the restaurant you can either sit indoors or outdoors, but regardless where you sit, you have to order inside at the register. I do wish someone had come to us and given us a run down of the menu, but this wasn't such a deal breaker.
