"For many, lobster is the epitome of a special occasion food — the crown jewel of dishes worthy of graduation, anniversary, and, yes, most holiday celebrations. Those folks should head to this Old Montreal lobster bar where the crustacean can be grilled, stuffed into ravioli, or atop a luxury poutine on Christmas Day." - Eater Staff

"The latest addition to the Antonopoulos Group’s collection of Old Montreal restaurants, Pincette dutifully carries out its focus of serving a seafood-centric menu with a particular emphasis on lobster. That includes its brunches: Dishes like sardine tartine and smoked mackerel toast accompany the likes of shakshuka made with Nordic shrimp and poutines served with lobster, snow crab, and a bisque gravy." - JP Karwacki, Valerie Silva

I’m glad we chose this spot while we were in the Old Town. We had a lovely window-side table, which added charm to the experience with a view of the streets. The lobster dishes were fantastic – fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The lobster roll was creamy and satisfying, while the grilled lobster paired with crispy fries was a delight. The ambiance was cozy, and the service was warm and attentive. Highly recommend for seafood lovers visiting Old Montreal!

Google
The food was ok overall. The price point is really high for the quantities you’re getting and the flavours weren’t notable with the exception of the scallops in a saffron panacotta sauce. The risotto and cheesecake were quite good as well, but nothing too special. Service was good and atmosphere was nice. Note: My brother was still hungry after we spent over 100$ per person, so I don’t recommend for people with a large appetite.

Google
Friend and I were there Saturday evening and we just can't get over, just how good everything was. Our server was Juliette, she was so polite, funny and sweet, absolute perfection. We started with drinks from the bar, then Grilled Octopus which was simply delicious, our mains where the Lobster Roll with a salad and fries, and the best absolute hands down was the Lobster Ravioli, to die for. If you're in Montreal, you need to treat yourself to the best in Old Montreal. Our bill was reasonable $178.00 and worth every dollar. We will be back!!

Google
I had the octopus risotto and it was absolutely incredible, and fantastic espresso martini! Marie was my server and she was so sweet and very attentive! Would definitely come back, I’d love to experience the dinner menu!

Google
I paid for the tourist price because it is in old port Montreal. Maybe it’s normal? Everything is bit overpriced in that area. Fries were good, salad was not fresh, definitely need to improve on the quality of the salad nobody wanna eat rotten lettuce:) service was excellent though, just a bit slow, ( waiting for more than 10minutes to get my bill)

Google
Old Montreal, prime street patio location, amazing service and even better food. Expect to spend money here but the price is well worth it. Each item we ordered was phenomenal and I would absolutely go back for more! FYI - the kitchen shuts down between lunch and supper leaving a small window of time where the menu is reduced. There is a menu that ends at 3, another at 430pm and then dinner starts around 5. The different menus are pretty similar but, if Oysters is what you're looking for, they're only available in the evening. Just check out the menus before you go. We weren't in any rush so we hung out till the dinner menu was available - the staff was super attentive and welcoming the entire time we were there. Thank you Pincette!

Great service! Took my mom out on her birthday with family members. The staff accommodated us by the window when we requested for a table with a view. The food was great, and our waiter (Stephan) was very friendly and helped us select the best items off the menu considering we were sharing the plates. The calamari was a big hit!!!! They even offered us a free dessert as well wished for my mom’s birthday.

Google
Ambiance and decor is thematic warm and charming. Super friendly service. The food was good. We expected better though. Was a bit disappointed that my lobster was borderline fresh. Tasted like it got washed. Half of it had a bit of a mush texture. I would have returned it but we were on a time crunch and had other engagements later that Saturday night. My daughter, a also a fan of lobster had the raviolis. They were just ok. They tasted more like seafood than lobster. The filling did not have much lobster flesh texture. However the bisque did elevate the dish. I would return but only during lobster season. We will give this place a second chance. Other than that, their scallop ceviche was delicious and their arancini were perfectly textured.

Yelp
This spot is small and cozy. We.had some cocktails and great wine. Muscadet Coteaux de Loire. A must try. The accras are amazing. The bar is excellent. Eloise, our waitress was above and beyond. Fantastic service and night! Thank you Eloise!

Yelp
I have been past Pincette many times. Lobster Bar sounds a bit intimidating. However, I decided to give Pincette a try this time. I am happy that I did. I got there a bit late, but I was well greeted and seated. I had a Bloody Oyster to start. An oyster with a shot of Bloody Caesar. That will be everywhere soon. I got the table d'hôte with Arancini, half a lobster Thermidor, and a Mi-cuit. All the food was great! The server had many tables, but checked in at the right times. The wine list was not extensive, but matched the menu very well. The ambience was great! The lighting was not too dark. They had lights in lobster pots! I will have to go back there again.

Yelp
An old Montreal favorite, Pincette is a cozy eatery serving food with a local flavor. We went for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The cod fritters were nicely seasoned and fried so the outside was crisp and the inside soft and juicy. The shakshuka (chackchouka) was flavorful, mildly spiced and served with a side of pita bread. The lobster rolls were packed with lobster meat and served with fries and a side salad. All on all a delightful experience and a satisfying lunch! Service by Marie was excellent-- 5 stars.

Yelp
We arrived after a long day watching the Presidents Cup outside Montreal. We were looking for fresh seafood and found Poncette. We were not disappointed.Tender squid in a beautiful light ,lemon sauce. Next we had a dozen raw oysters from New Brunswick. They were small so we were served fifteen to compensate for the size. They were nice and briny which being served with an excellent vinaigrette. The final and best dish was the Lobster Risotto. A nice, easy to shuck tail over a large helping of perfectly cooked cheese risotto topped with crispy pancetta, green peas and carrots. Service, wine and cocktails were excellent. The waitress, Vana, was outstanding. We had an amazing time. Thanks Pincette. We will be back next time in Montreal. John&Sarah

Yelp
Walking by the busy tourist area, we saw Pincette with a beautiful outside patio and decide to make a dinner reservation for next night. I saw lobster poutine on Yelp's photos but our waiter said it was served on weekends only. They still had other lobster and fresh seafood choices. We started out with some scallops appetizers, there are only 3 pieces but they do have caviar on top. We also had some red sangria which goes well with our dinner. For entree I got the lobster roll which came with a huge salad and some fries. Hubby got the lobster tail risotto which was creamy with cheese, squash and peas. Our server was friendly and was attentive. It was a nice dinner to wrap up our Montreal trip.

Yelp
We came here after visiting Mont Royal and were looking for some seafood. The lobster rolls were very good. I liked how un-buttery it was, which seems to be the default recipe in many places. Salad was very fresh with a bright, light dressing. Ambiance was nice, I enjoyed the classy-casual feel to it, and Steve our server was excellent.

Gary A.

Yelp
Went for dinner, we had appetizers of fresh oysters and cod fritters. Oysters were fresh and briny. The fritters were crunchy and there was like a whiff of Mediterranean taste in it. We both had grilled half lobster each and it was deliciously messy! It came with a heaping side of fries and salad. Service was good and the place was not too noisy. I did not realize it's located in the tourist area . I normally stay away from it hence one less star. Good overall!

David R.

Yelp
We found this place around 8pm and chose to eat there. When we got our chairs, we were saddened to find the lobster portions of the menu were sold out. so we ended up mostly ordering drinks and appetizers. Overall it is a nice place. If i were to come here again, I would arrive earlier so as to prevent them having run out of the lobster.

Alex M.

Yelp
Stopped by Pincette to grab a bite to eat before seeing music in the area, and my partner and I really enjoyed our experience! We were lucky enough to get walk-in seats at the bar and then had the pleasure to chat with Gabriel (the bartender), who gave us some nice recommendations and tips. We ended up ordering the lobster + crab poutine (one of the best we've ever had, very unique and creamy from the lobster bisque) and the grilled squid appetizer. We were thoroughly pleased by both, and unfortunately couldn't finish the poutine (as much as we wanted to!). Drink-wise, I got one of the IPAs on draft + their oyster shooter (delicious) and my partner got the espresso martini (which Gabriel did a stellar job making). All in all, I would go back to Pincette and try some of their other food and libations (prob a reservation next time tho).

Yelp
Incredibly food, service, and staff. The ambience fits the seaside motifs, We were visiting from the US for Montreal restaurant week (MTL ā table) and passed Pincette on a walk through old town. It was by far the best restaurant and experience we had while in Montreal. The staff and manager showed us incredibly hospitality while making sure we were well catered to. Upon telling the staff we were here for the food, they produced a list of all their "must try" and favorite spots in town. If you want to experience Montreal hospitality, food, and culture... this is the best in our book.

Yelp
We toured Old Montréal by foot and stopped here for lunch. The hostess sat us outside pretty quickly as it was after the usual lunch rush. The outdoor patio area was pretty big and was full, but not too crowded that we felt we were on top of the people sitting next to us. We ordered drinks and sat for a bit and just took in the scenes of people scurrying along Rue Saint Paul. It is such a beautiful street located in Old Montréal. It feels very European. We weren't starving, so split the lobster roll which came with fries and a side salad. It was a perfect snack. The lobster was delicious. There was a lot of lobster in it and the roll was very nice and not too buttery. The fries were good and the side salad was also very good. Overall we had a wonderful experience here just relaxing for an hour or so enjoying a beautiful afternoon in Montréal.

Yelp
We (4) arrived without a reservation and were able to get a table outside within 20 min on a Saturday evening around 6pm. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. The evening weather was nice and fun for people watching. We ordered a half dozen of fresh oysters, beer battered cod fritters with aioli, a lobster roll, and a polenta crusted monkfish with white bean ragout. Everything was delicious so much that we ordered a second monkfish! I walked around a bit and there are no other restaurants in the area that specializes in seafood. The others were steakhouses and didn't have the charm of Pincette.

Greg O.

Yelp
Quaint little restaurant and bar located in Old Port. Great service and attention during my meal. Food was mixed delicious and underwhelming. Started with the scallops - incredible flavors! The cod fritters were heavy and greasy, and lobster ravioli left me wanting better. Quality and flavor was fresh and I expected more after the scallops - glad I started with the scallops though! I'd love to return and try other dishes! Worth the stop!

Lisa C.

Yelp
Beautiful warm evening for October 1st! We had the oysters for appetizers which were from New Brunswick. I had the mussels and they were super fresh and tender. A glass of Pinot Noir from Oregon.... Perfect. Staff nice and friendly. Never felt rushed!

Shelley B.

Yelp
This restaurant was exactly what we were looking for in a creative menu focused on seafood. We order six raw oysters to start and they did not disappoint. Fresh, mild, and perfectly shucked, they were great. Then came the grilled calamari, which had the perfect blend of char and tender. I liked that it didn't come in rings, rather two whole pieces that we cut and shared. Then we ordered the cod fritters which were perfectly fried, lightly battered, and not too heavy. Finally we ordered the lobster risotto and that was lovely. While it is the most popular dish, I preferred the first three we ordered the best. We sat at the bar and our bartender/waitress was Vana, a delightful young lady and very quick, competent, and sweet. It was a fantastic dining experience in a very cute restaurant.

Cel L.

Yelp
One of the highlights of our Montreal trip! Coming from Toronto, we had high expectations with good restaurants. I was impressed by how fresh the food was and the complexity of flavour. We ordered the Lobster Risotto and Lobster roll with fries, which tasted so delicious! They didn't skimp out the lobster pieces too. The fries were really crispy as well. Service was friendly and efficient. Ambience is bright and modern. Highly recommended!

Tommy L.

Yelp
This was our first meal in Montreal this visit and it proved to be a great one. Starting with oysters and shrimp cocktail, and following with several of the small plates, we enjoyed everything. Eloise' service was excellent.

Lourdes M.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant in the middle of the Rue Saint Paul pedestrian street. The New Brunswick oysters were cold and delicious just like we like them. We also ordered the raw scallop appetizer which seemed like an explosion of taste in your mouth and the octopus which my husband and I both agreed was the best we've ever had. Couldn't leave with out ordering the escargot which was served with out its shell, in a bowl with a plethora of mushrooms and scallop sauce. It was a very different way of serving it and honestly superb! Lastly, we saw the carrot cake come out and it looked sooo good we had to take it to go. Two hours later with a glass of milk , we raved about it as well! I must mention that the service was wonderful, very attentive. Really phenomenal restaurant! I highly recommend it!!

Yelp
If you're in Old Montréal, you're never short on choices when it comes to eating out- and making sure what the city has to offer whether they're open or close on that day is quite another matter. It was nice to get excited about a new restaurant in Old Montréal for our Dec '22 vacay that we didn't see during our last '19 trip. I'm not sure how lucky you'll be as a walk-in, but you can snag a seat quick at this small- but posh spot on Rue Saint Paul E. in the Ville-Marie section if you reserve online. I'd estimate the menu is (almost) entirely seafood- with the exception of a flank steak dinner and bacon tidbits thrown here and there. Forget that you can almost fit this one in your back pocket or that's it's "another nautical-styled restaurant". It is- but at the same time it isn't. Pincette's style is much more elevated because in all reality, they're in.....Montréal. But there's nothing stuffy about the atmosphere. Light wood lobster traps serve as overhead lamps, slat flooring is also light in color giving a sense of ampleness, raw cement pillars andd a touch of rough and dark blue back cushions on seats facing the wall add that pop of color. Pincette manages to be many things to many people. There was couple just having cocktails while they chatted, come in for casual bites or for a date night. Our guy had the greatest smile and delivery. But it was also our meal that stole the show too. From our raw dozen oysters, to my cod fritters+aioli (which I always omit because of preference- but the aioli turned out to be tasty) to hubs' roasted squid with pieces of bacon- we each had tasty meal openers. Drinks had good ingredients but didn't wow me in strength. My main plate of Squash Risotto topped with a lobster tail, was rich and tender. Hubs was thrown a fastball and didn't expect his first-ever poutine with 'bisque gravy' to have so much of it and making his fries turned into an almost soggy mess. No complete fault of theirs- but hubs actually expected a 'bisque' gravy for his seafood meal and not a brown-looking gravy similar to the traditional kind. One and done for my husband. Lost in translation maybe? With the exception of that, our meals were tasty. Do come for the ultra pleasant service and enjoy the ocean's bounty here. I wish them luck in their venture

Tamar R.

Yelp
Highly recommend this seafood restaurant. Esthetically very nice decor. The food is amazing, I've tried many things on the menu and the seafood is always so fresh. They also have different kinds of oysters and you can order according to your liking, I can say they have the freshest oysters here. My favourite dish that I have ordered was the lobster risotto and it was devine. The risotto was creamy but not heavy with the perfect amount of lobster tail. I can say that the plates here are a big portion, so it will satisfy your appetite. Depending on when you go but weekend are usually very busy which is understandable. Service can be sometimes slow. Staff is always nice. One of the best Caesars I've had are here, so I definitely suggest to get some if you love Caesars like I do. It also comes with a crab leg. Definitely a must try in the old port if you are craving good seafood. They have pretty much every seafood there is. I highly recommend to small or big groups with reservation.

Sana K.

Yelp
Amazing!!! Great service at the bar. Delicious drinks and food. Got the lobster risotto and asked for some hot sauce. They offered some amazing options we hadn't seen before. It was really good. We also got oysters which were really good with migonette. Highly recommend

Laurie M.

Yelp
We had an amazing dinner! At the wait person's recommendation we started with the octopus appetizer which, while not very large (one sizeable tentacle), was tender and had an accompaniment of tabouli and hummus (a tablespoon of each) on the side. I had the lobster roll and my husband had the lobster/crab ravioli as our entrees. Both were delicious and filling. Dessert was the chocolate mousse. Highly suggest reservations. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and is on a popular street of many restaurants- great people watching!

Kimberley W.

Yelp
I went to Montreal for a quick trip and Pincette was a suggested restaurant to try. No mistakes made here. Food was delish! I had the lobster risotto. Divine! The ambiance was intimate, but rustic. Great date night spot!

Nel P.

Yelp
Perfectly situated in the heart of Old Montreal, this Lobster Bar is a great place to dine, drink, and people watch. Great atmosphere with matching decor. They have outdoor seating, but we prefer dining inside and away from the foot traffic of Rue Saint Paul. I recommend trying their oysters for starters. Then the lobster risotto and the Grilled lobster for the main course...and cap it off with one of their desserts. Their deconstructed lemon pie is one of better unique presentation of desserts we've had. And it was delicious. We also came back to try their breakfast menu. Not a big menu, but definitely tasty.

Caroline H.

Yelp
Even though this restaurant is in a "touristy" part of town, the food was absolutely delightful. If you love seafood (especially lobster) you'll be set, but there are also other options like steak. We even tried an appetizer that combined scallops and caviar...so unexpected and delightful.

Jeanne R.

Yelp
Disappointed by the food here. It was bad quality in my opinion and extremely overpriced. The service was wonderful and that's the only reason for giving any stars.

Justine S.

Yelp
A cute place to grab a bite and catch up with a friend. Wasn't too busy on a Sunday afternoon for a 2 person table with reservation. We both got the lobster roll and it was fresh! Didn't think the bread was all that good but the lobster filling was so it made up for it. Loved the fresh salad on the side and the fries were decent. I'd definitely come back for the Mac and cheese!

Will S.

Yelp
Really lovely service, nice spot in vieux port, delicious food! Definitely worthwhile for a nice night out.

Andrew P.

Yelp
Meh... our weekday lunch at Pincette was just okay. Son's overpriced lobster roll was short on lobster, and he thought the taste was overpowered by the other ingredients. My steamed mussels were good but nothing special. In addition, our server was apathetic. My request that he bring the check took 15 minutes to fulfill, and it only happened after a different server stopped by to clear plates from the table. Then the first server re-appeared and asked me to mention him in a five-star review. Alas, that won't be possible. Montreal offers great seafood, but sadly our experience at Pincette fell short.

Valerie F.

Yelp
Just happened to walk past and go in. What a great experience. The host gave us a beautiful table by the window. Attentive and helpful table service. Delicious oysters, briney and sweet. I had the mussels & frites, best sweetest fat mussels I've ever had. Partner had the lobster roll, delicious simple perfection. Really great space, not too loud but still convivial. Thank you for the great dinner, what a pleasure! Anniversary dinner redemption

David K.

Yelp
Had a wonderful lunch today. The lobster roll was succulent and delicious. And my partner had the half lobster which was perfect. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Also great wines by the glass. Everything was perfect!

Nicole R.

Yelp
A small, bright, vibrant restaurant with superb service and a 5 star meal! We were sat promptly (a table of 5, 2 adults and 3 children). There is no children menu but my kids eat like adventurously so it was perfect. I started with an oyster shooter...and then had a second! For an appetizer, we ordered the cod fish fritters, the grilled octopus, and the tuna tataki. All of it was flavorful and delicious but the stand out was the octopus! One of the best I have ever eaten! For dinner, my husband and I ordered the mixed seafood with coconut milk sauce and kimchi over a pasta. WOW doesn't say enough! It was outstanding. There was a hint of spice and it was perfect. My youngest daughter had the grilled lobster, my son had the lobster risotto and my oldest daughter had the lobster roll. I of course had a bite of each of their dishes. The grilled lobster was cooked to perfection, the risotto has a nutty flavor that was wonderful and the lobster roll was different than we have had in our part of the United States -we usually have hit with butter, but this was more like a lobster salad. She devoured it! We were too full for dessert unfortunately. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the old Montreal area. The waiter was lovely and friendly and allowed us to ask questions about the area and language questions when trying to translate. It was an amazing dining experience! Check out my foodie instagram @Date-night-craves

Chanelle D.

Yelp
The first time we went for brunch, we really enjoyed our dishes. Very creative breakfast dishes and super delicious especially the pancakes. The prices were very reasonable and the portion was a great size. We had an excellent experience so we went back a second time. This time for lunch. I ordered a salmon which unfortunately had bones. I choked on the salmon bones and I couldn't get it down with water. Flagged the server who didn't even care to fix the problem. The potatoes were also burned. It took several complaints before the server finally said she would give us a 20% discount off our bill for the experience. That second visit just ruined our first impression of the restaurant.

Loc N.

Yelp
This is a great place within walking distance of many cute little shops. Service was excellent and the food did not disappoint. The food was so good I forgot to take pictures of it all and couldn't want to devour it!

Taz H.

Yelp
Great spot for lobster everything. Had some lobster poutine and lobster rolls we great. In the old town section is a cool walking area. Service was good very English friendly staff.

Kevin M.

Yelp
This restaurant is so incredibly cute and has exceptional servers. Unfortunately the food misses the mark somewhat. The flavor isn't quite up there while the lobster was not very tender or flavorful, making me believe it was not the most fresh. The food was certainly not bad by any means, but I think I expected more based on every other aspect of the restaurant's offerings.

I C.

Yelp
I absolutely LOVE this place. It was the very first restaurant we went to during our weeklong visit to Montreal to attend the Canada F1 Grand Prix in mid June. Months before the trip, knowing that the town would be absolutely mobbed that week/weekend, I set out to research places to eat THAT WOULD ALLOW ME TO MAKE ONLINE RESERVATIONS. I booked the whole week's worth of dining online. Point being: MAKE ONLINE RESERVATIONS HERE. :) I booked a brunch at Pincette, party of 2, for the day after we arrived in town. OMG this place is as cute and as charming as can be! We had a hard time deciding whether to sit outside in their quaint patio area right on Rue Saint-Paul or inside at an open window table. The weather was glorious so sitting outside was so tempting but the interior of the restaurant is sooooooooo cuteeeeeeeee that we kinda wanted to experience the vibe and ambience. We opted to sit outside but I couldn't leave without snapping some inside pics (and a vid even!) to show you what I mean by vibey-gorgeous! The one thing that struck us about this place was that the Lunch menu had a very limited selection. The dinner menu seems to offer more options. In the end, it was fine. I wanted to try their signature Lobster Roll and my companion opted to try the Ratatouille as a lunch combo which included a choice of starter - she chose the soup of the day (vegetable). We both loved our choices. We also each had a cappuccino (see my pics) which were delicious treats. I highly recommend the LOBSTER ROLL! It was a nice size, on a toasted roll. The lobster salad was an awesome blend of ingredients tossed in a delicious creamy dressing which wasn't oversaturating and just right. It came with a small side salad and a generous portion of house cut fries - all beautifully plated. The RATATOUILLE was superb. Also beautifully plated and generous in portion size, the melding of the various flavors of the dish was divine. Service was EXCELLENT. I had only made that one reservation because the idea was to try a different place each day of our trip. But I would have gone to Pincette again in a heartbeat, it was that good. For sure, the next time we are up in Old Montreal, Pincette will be on our list of favorites. I love that they serve BFAST, BRUNCH, LUNCH and DINNER - each have different menu offerings. I screenshot all the pages of the online menu (!) and am posting them up, so have a look. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, especially if you're looking for a place to have a nice, intimate meal right in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Old Montreal.

Alice F.

Yelp
What a lovely summer dinner! As you can presume, you should order lobster here. I mean, it's in their name! The seafood here is very fresh and nicely prepared. The portions are big! Staff are kind and knowledgeable and give honest feedback about the wine list and menu. A great way to start a summer evening in the Old Port.

Nicholas C.

Yelp
We've dined twice there for lunch and dinner. Food was delicious and visually appealing. Good service, the staff is very patient in both languages. Try any lobster dish. Also, first-rate fish and chips!

Janice D.

Yelp
Amazing find! Stopped in for lunch and were not disappointed. Food was incredible. I had the pasta with rapini pesto & burrata and it was quite possibly the best pasta dish I've ever had. My husband had the fish & chips - also very delicious and so fresh. Ambience was great as well as we ate outside on the sidewalk cafe right in the old town of Montreal. Service was impeccable. If you're nearby, you need to stop here.

Anastasia B.

Yelp
Very fast service and tasty food had lobster Mac and cheese and it was very good but also very filling and rich. Very cute restaurant.

Alaysha J.

Yelp
We ran into this place by chance and so happy we did. The food was so delicious and the lobster is massive! Loved the ambience.

Angel T.

Yelp
Hostess was very nice and extremely accommodating. The "manager" was extremely rude to the level of obnoxious. We had a party of 7, had us waiting to the point we left. Probably the food might be delicious, but the customer service is terrible.

Kathryn R.

Yelp
Loved it! Our food had negligible problems, like the risotto was too Al dente and the cocktail sauce was a little ketchup-y, but there were too many good things to make any of that noticeable. The ravioli was delicious and the mousse was some of the smoothest I have ever tasted. The waiter was also incredibly friendly and so helpful. Restaurant was also beautiful inside. Definitely plan to come back on my short trip here!

Fofo N.

Yelp
Slowwwwwwww service and food wasn't good. Pricey for little of what you get. Seems like it was quicker for other people but the place wasn't that busy at all. Again slllllllooooowwwww!

Glenn P.

Yelp
My second time here didn't disappoint again! I had the clam chowder, though it's not your typical creamy clam chowder it has plenty of clams and fantastic flavor. I had the lobster risotto for my entree and I wanted to order another one. It was creamy deliciousness. The old fashioned was really good too!

Yelp
I enjoyed the coastal decor of this restaurant and that kind of atmosphere, and its location in Old Montreal is great. But the menu is both limited and expensive. My boyfriend and I both had the lobster risotto; it was okay, but the risotto was al dente, and the amount of lobster was small (and it was tasteless, too). This was our first night out in Montreal, and we were disappointed. There are many restaurants in that area. I would suggest trying another spot.

Yelp
$28/lobster roll, $24/clam linguine The lobster roll from Pincette was pricey but delicious. The bun was toasted perfectly, and there was a good amount of lobster! So sweet and yummy. Also, the fries and salad was a great pairing. I would get this again! The clam linguine was creamy and even consisted of whelk (a type of snail). For the price, it's pretty worth, they give a good portion of clams and whelk. My boyfriend and I also got their oysters and devoured them. Would've been nice if they had given us cocktail sauce though! Overall, service was friendly and nice vibes by Old Montreal.

Yelp
BREAKFAST: charming place. Delightful server ( Carla). Delicious food. Parfait au Yogourt - best yogurt I've ever had! Pain Perdu - amazing French toast. And lattes were good as well. Recommend.
