Pitaki - Review - Fulton Market - Chicago - The Infatuation
"Pitaki is a counter-service spot in Fulton Market serving Greek street food. You can get pita wraps, filo hand pies, and bowls filled with things like spicy feta or eggplant dip for dine-in, takeout, or delivery.
We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation
First time having Greek food since my trip this summer and I wish I could go back. I ended up getting the Klassiko bowl with the mustard-mayo on the side. I ordered chicken but was given pork. Not very flavorful and pretty dry. The Greek salad was too acidic and the pita wasn’t fluffy. The fries were very well seasoned but most of them were soft. The nice part was the tzatziki but it couldn’t save the rest of the food. I’m sure they will adjust as they are open for longer but the taste just wasn’t there for me to wanna come back.

Went in and got a big moustaki bowl with the wagyu kifta and a klassiko chicken wrap. Both were extremely underwhelming. The chicken was definitely reheated, dry and overly burnt. The beef was burnt also and very small portions. The presentation or lack of… well just look at the picture. Took them about 20 minutes to bring out the salad while the wrap was sitting behind counter. That’s not even the worse part the staff was eating while preparing food. A guy behind the counter that was near all the toppings table, that was preparing food, and coughing into his tee-shirt and not wearing gloves. I will never return here again.

Service was good. Was greeted upon entering. Only waited 5 minutes for my food. What I didn't understand is why the food was cold when it only took 5 minutes to get. Also, the pita was rock hard and the portions are really small for the price. I got the spicy pita which was good flavor wise but for the cost and quality, I won't be returning.

It’s alright… the pita is decent, the chicken is a little dry but seasoned well. There just wasn’t a ton of flavor overall.

Overall, I was very disappointed in this Greek food place. I was expecting better quality chicken. The whipped feta is not really whipped. The avgolemono soup is not avgolemono soup, very watered down and the orzo was undercooked. I will say the portion sizes were generous and overall there is definitely room for improvement and I hope management works towards that.

We were so excited to try a quick Greek spot, but we were extremely disappointed. I almost never leave reviews, but I felt the need to warn others not to waste their money. The food was cold, tasted old, and the fries were especially stale. Both my husband and I were so let down—we won’t be back.

Avli has been one of my favorite places for delivery for years, so I was so excited when this opened! I love their bowls and wraps! This is my go to spot to get an authentic Greek souvlaki pita! It's so freaking good and prices are awesome for west loop. Plus pretty healthy!
I wish they would add their grain bowls here!

Extremely disappointed in the food. I was so excited for this place to open in Fulton Market but it was a major let down. They definitely need to get it together. My bowl was missing one of the dips and hummus, the veggies were extremely soggy and unrecognizable, literally no idea what was in it besides eggplant. My husband had the chicken bowl and said the chicken was average at best. The only good thing i ate was the pita.
