The $20 pint & pizza during dodgers game deal is a steal. The pizza is amazing and they have really great beers on draft. The hot honey pizza really stole the show, but I really liked the mushroom as well. The kolsch on draft was refreshing. I will definitely come back for more!

Our second time to this establishment! Good as the first time! We came here to carbo load for the Los Angeles Marathon. Had some great shaved kale salad, pizza, and spaghetti and meatballs! The place used to be a movie theater back in the past. Very nicely decorated and plenty of space to enjoy dinner! We will be back again! 😀

I've been here 4-5 times and every visit has been great! The staff is always so nice and the service is excellent. I don't personally care for the cookies or salads, and the garlic knots and vegetable salad are just okay. I will say that the Juneshine kombucha on tap and the pizzas are absolutely delicious! The wings are good but could be crispier.

I fell for this restaurant because it has a similar name to a local pizzeria, PITFIRE ARTISAN PIZZA, which has one more word than this one. The latter is one of my favorites. This pizzeria has a half-open kitchen where you can watch them make the pizzas. The oven is typically pitfire-shaped but gas-driven, which makes for less flavor than a wood-burning pitfire. We went there around 4 p.m. after a trip from La Brea and happened to catch the happy hour: $10 for one of most of their pizzas and $6 for a draft beer. The price was cheap, and the beer was very good. We had THREE PHILOSOPHERS and Figueroa Mountain Light Lager; both beers were good. Regarding the food: Boneless Wings I had never had boneless wings before—interesting? The boneless wings were really tender and juicy, with a mild garlic ginger dipping sauce that balanced very well. I was curious about the texture of the boneless wings and guessed they weren’t real wings, but my friend Danny didn’t agree. We asked the waiter, and he told us they were chicken wings with the bones removed. Later on, I did some research and found that the culinary term "boneless wings" actually refers to chicken breasts. Anyway, the boneless wings were hot, crispy, and tender. I give them 9/10. Margherita Pizza Sadly, the most anticipated item was the worst. It was plain and boring—you couldn’t taste the tomato or the wheat, and it didn’t even have a sour flavor. We were all surprised that they could make a Margherita pizza so tasteless. A Margherita pizza is so easy to make with good cheese, good tomatoes, and good flour, but it seemed this pizza had none of those. Sorry, 0/10. Honey Bear Pizza This pizza was better than the Margherita one, but still not a good pizza. I'd rate it 5/10. Little Gem Caesar Salad Acceptable, but nothing special. The lettuce was fresh, but the cheese cubes were rubbery. I'd give it a 6/10.

Great products are served and good quality. Like Zoe’s meats which I love. But it is Such a shame that the pizza cook can’t watch a pizza to not burn in the oven… can someone stop thinking that a pizza this burnt is ok to be sent. It is clearly unfit to human consumption. It is the job also of a chef to know what tastes good, and what is unfit for consumption for obvious safety reason. Please do better.

I brought my best friend to this place for a little boost. He ordered the honey pizza, while I opted for the pepperoni pizza (though I’m not entirely sure if those are the exact names). The addition of green peppers to my pepperoni pizza was fantastic! I sampled his pizza, which was delicious, but I'm not particularly fond of sweet flavors on pizza. However, he thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely go back!

Instantly became a huge fan of this place. They have a great happy hour menu, game day deals for Dodger games, a HUGE space that's great for large groups and overall just really good food that includes vegan options. You literally can't go wrong here. Food -- 10/10. Sooooo yummy and I was really happy that they have a good selection of vegan options. I loved the vegan honey bear pizza and buffalo cauliflower wings! Aside from that, I also loved the elote-style brussels sprouts (I know, it sounds weird but they were super good, trust me) Price -- 10/10. Like I said, they have a REALLY good happy hour menu to take advantage of. And even aside from that, their regular prices seem fair for the portions you get and the quality of the food. Another thing to note, you pay for your order at the bar. I personally like this because it makes it easier to just order what you'd like instead of having to split bills between a large party Ambiance -- It's a gorgeous space split into three rooms, basically. The front and far back rooms look promising for big parties. I even asked one of the workers if people can call ahead for large parties and they said they can accommodate it! I loved it so much that I'm even planning to celebrate my birthday here next month! :) I'm excited to come back

Holy happy hour! I went to Mohawk Bend just before it closed and wanted to see what this place was all about. I like how they changed the aesthetic around but still left the classic look of the building. The bar is huge and they have a soda room. I was excited for the soda room. Their happy hour was great! Drinks were decently priced and the pizzas were pretty much half off but the pizzas were the same size as the ones you'd order during the regular hours. Everything was an absolutely delicious and the people working very very nice and attentive. Even though you order at the bar and find a place to sit, the staff was still coming to check on the table. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great pizza and bar but don't recommend if you're looking for sports. They have some TVs with games on but not very many and they weren't showing the Thursday night football game.

We had reservations for a birthday party for 9 people. We arrived and had to actively ask someone in the kitchen where we would be seated. There was no host. In fact, there is no service at the tables at all. This poses huge problems when you order multiple drinks and food when THEY DON'T HAVE SOMEONE BUSSING THE TABLES. Secondly, the restaurant was very hot inside. Like 80 degrees or more. We asked what the thermostat was set at and they said 75 degrees! Uhhh... WTF? Third, they were understaffed and when you wanted to order a drink or food you were waiting in line for 10 minutes or more each time to do so. I am sorry, but I want my friends at my table having a good time and not inconvenienced by waiting to order because you are too cheap to hire more competent staff. Other issues included flickering lights, a poor sound system, frozen cocktails that weren't fully frozen, and a photo booth that makes the worst photographs ever. The owner/manager doesn't pay enough attention to this business, is skimping on staff and not properly maintaining this building. Word of advice, order your pizza to go. Not sure this place will be around much longer with this kind of operations.

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. While the place looks nice, the staff's behavior was extremely rude. The host seemed upset when we arrived, which set a negative tone from the start. After being seated, we waited at our table for about 25 minutes, but no one came to take our order. Overall, I was very unhappy with both the service and the restaurant. We had to leave. There is a better pizza place right at the corner Cosa Buona.

This place is awesome! Showed up on a Monday night at 9pm and the staff were still full of energy and ready to take our order. We had three pizzas, (pesto chicken, Zoe's pepperoni, and sausage party, )both style bonless wings (buffalo &garlic ginger) and 6 drinks. I was not sure about the pizza, a little nervous, but this place does not disappoint, the food is outstanding! The crust... wow!!!! The crust is amazing for a this crust! The toppings are so fresh, even the pickiest kid and adult will love this fresh pizza. The winner tonight is the Pesto chicken, it's perfect, a new fave! We will be back! Thank you for an amazing night with great service, ambiance and amazing food!

Pitfire is an awesome pizza spot that is open late. They have plenty of seating indoor and outdoor with impeccable service. Me and friends came in 15 mins before close and they still sat us and let us dine in. The Homey Bear was definitely the stand out. It comes with ricotta mozzarella provolone and sausage. It comes with hot honey and it's nothing short of amazing so many flavors that all coincide perfectly together. The sausage party is also good the flavors aren't as flamboyant as the honey bear but just as tasty in a different way. The cheese knots were awesome they come with a side of marina sauce and has mozzarella and Parmesan cheese sprinkled all over it. The they are really good highly recommended.

We really liked the light crust. Chopped salad was really nice and this dressing which I've never heard of before, I loved. They call it Oregeno Dressing. It's not strongly flavored of oregano and had a pleasant tartness and sweetness to it. I took some home. The buffalo wings. When they said boneless I was expecting nuggets, ya know? Nope it's actual chicken drummies with the bones removed. Noice. Going back! They have special prices during Dodgers games. I've never been here before so when I saw the signs about this, I googled Dodgers on my phone. They were playing today so Dodger discounts were on, and it happened to be 7th inning, so I got the the wings for only 10 bucks cos that deal only happens during the 7th inning. #Winning #TigersBlood

Pitfire pizza is a 10/10! I can never come here and not get their wings. Yes, they're that good! Probably the best in LA IMO. We opt for the Buffalo ones that have Calabrian chili on them. So delicious! The pizza is always yummy too! Careful though because it's piping hot lol. This time we got the sausage & peppers to try something different from the usual - Zoe's pizza (my fave). It was good, but l'm a Zoe's is still my fave! The vibes are on point. The space is cute for dates, hangouts or just to sit and enjoy the game. Customer service is excellent too!

On Tue March 19 we came in for a party of 14 LOL no heads up, rsvp or anything. It was for a birthday it was a Tuesday, so thought maybe it wouldn't be busy and sure enough it wasn't! I did come about a half hr earlier than I told my friends just in case I had to scope out for a new area, but the hostess was amazing- she was like omg yes we have so much space! She just checked with the manager to make sure we were good to go to sit at the long middle table and and that worked out really well. Our food came promptly and the drinks were great! I was also worried that we'd pay as a whole table under one check (yikes) but they conveniently had us just pay/order at the counter as each of us was ready. Thank you to all the staff there! You all that were working that day were champs- thanks for taking care of us and my partner during his special day!!

Arrived with friends after a running club at around 10pm, there was no wait, pretty empty, which was nice, since we had a large party of 7 people and got seated right away in the middle bar area, plenty of space and easy to chat. We ordered 3 pizzas, the steak salad, and the shredded kale salad, and it was the perfect amount for us. The sausage party was delicious, highly recommended. Plenty of options for pizzas. Service was quick, but I don't know what the peak dining hours are like. Price was pretty reasonable as well, and good for large parties at least later in the evening. Parking could be difficult given the location of the restaurant. Late at night, street parking was easy to find. But can imagine during peak hours you may have to park a distance away or on the side streets. Overall, great experience, would visit again!

So glad they reopened the mohawk bend space, such a cool venue. I've never tried pitfire before. We already had dinner so I ate again because I'm that guy. I eat my emotions. Food: kids meal pizza because, again, I already ate. And charred Brussels sprouts because it felt like a healthy balance? Sprouts were great - creamed and spiced like Mexican street corn. Pizza was not ny pizza, but more artisan, Neapolitan - good dough, nice oven char flavor. Booze: had a few pints of ale and glasses of Chardonnay. Great selection, like previous establishment. Service: super friendly. Everyone's really nice and helpful. Will the bartender is super nice Price: great by echo park standards, more affordable than Mohawk bend was. Apps were 8, kids pizza was 8. Adult size pie is 15 and up. Ambiance: very nice, no major changes since previous owner, which is good because this place is holy and iconic. Parking: street only. meh, it's echo park. I'll be back.

Pretty average pizza! Nothing spectacular but I'm excited to have a GF pizza option in echo park. I got the pepperoni on GS crust and my boyfriend got the sausage and mushroom. Servers were all very nice and attentive but one pizza came out like 15 mins before the other which was kind of a bummer but not a huge deal. Ranch is extra ($2) which is pretty steep for a little side of it. Regardless, a good late night spot with plenty of seating! Cute "backyard" feel. Parking on side residential streets is pretty easy or at the chipotle across the street.

Super hard to find and when you do, it's far into the residential area. Will continue to visit Pitfire but not necessarily this location especially since it is so much farther than a couple of the other locations.

I'm giving 4 of 5 stars because the value would not be good once they take away their "Dodger Special" (pizza + beer for $20). If they keep this going, I'd give 5 stars. Good pizza, thin crust if you like that. I like the burnt edges from fire-roasting. Loved the sausage/pepper pizza. Honey Bear pizza was a little sweet for my taste. Pretty good size. Loved the vegetarian chopped salad - good value, tasty, nice size. Pretty much they just stick to pizzas, beers and a few sides (smart to focus on strengths) Service - you need to order at the bar. They bring to the table. They stop by and ask if you need anything. It's the way it goes these days. No complaints. Best thing - the Dodger Special: Pizza and a beer for $20. CAN'T BEAT IT! Pretty much you save $6 on the $20 order! If this special weren't offered, I'd say this place is overpriced. But as long as this special lasts, it's a recommended place in my book - and a smart business decision (leverages that 2nd beer), draws traffic and doesn't really cost them much margin. Ambiance - great! The exact same as Mohawk Bend used to be.

I was actually going somewhere else and spotted this location. Decided to check the menu first and I liked what I saw so I decided to eat here. You can seat yourself anywhere you want and I chose to sit in the patio. What I was not told was that I had to go inside and order... after sitting and waiting (9 minutes) for a server to take my order. Thanks to the customer who told me. Lol. I ordered the vegan pizza, which they have plenty of options. It took awhile but the pizza itself was delicious. The dough was perfect. Loved the cheese and the sauce was perfect. Not too bland or sweet. I ate 80% of it myself and the leftover next day. I'd definitely will come back again. The staff were nice but they should have informed me on where to order or have a sign that says so. Be mindful, access to this place is street parking and you may find a 2 hour parking across the street (behind Starbucks).

Wow! Look no further, if you want casual ambience but absolutely amazing pizza and second to NONE drinks, head here immediately. "Sway" at the bar is creating works of art at an amazing price. He is an artist, best Old Fashioned and best Revolver I have ever tasted in my life (I am not a young man)! The service, 5 stars, so pleasant, so friendly, 100% on point. Now the pizza, I used to think Hey Neighbor (Eugene) or Solstice (Hood River) in Oregon nailed it, they did! But... I will call it a three way tie!!! I stopped in with my Husband for dinner an it was our very first time at Pitfire an the experience was amazing!! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile and menus by our lovely server Randy. We ordered the Honey Bear with the chicken and mushrooms pasta as well as a chopped salad an I can't even began to explain how delicious everything was. The pizza was both sweet&spicy but not too much where it was overwhelming! The salads are huuuuuge, the can definitely feed more than two. An the pasta, I just can't get over the pasta.!! Me and my husband will MOST DEFINITELY BE BACK!!

I frequented both the Pitfire in DTLA and Mohawk Bend. I loved this space and hoped something great would move in after losing Mohawk Bend. I am happy that its Pitfure. They do a great job at being in a community and their happy hour menu is a big hit with my family. We had a full dinner for under $50 and that NEVER happens lately! And the staff and space are great. Extra bonus points for the actually well-done/well-thought out vegan options.

The food was good but I expected the pizza to have chili oil not spicy meat. The place has changed from Mohawk bend and I miss the servers actually going to you to ask what you would like instead of having to get up and ask. They have a variety of alcohol which I do appreciate and the pizza is good enough to feed 2 people. The place is fairly empty on weekdays it's still new and might take a while to kick off but overall would come back if I'm craving pizza and beer.

It was my first time coming to the new location in echo park and I thoroughly enjoyed it! We ordered the beets with greek yogurt, Margherita pizza, chicken pizza and the meatballs. Everything was delicious! The service was fantastic as well, we sat outside in the patio because we brought our doggie and they offered her a water bowl. Great ambiance whether you choose to sit inside (sans pets) or outside.

Pitfire is a nice family-friendly option for pizza in Echo Park. This location is quite large so there's always space, and they play games on the TVs in the bar area. The pizzas themselves won't change your life, but they are pretty good. They sometimes over char the crust, leaving them inedible and burned, but the servers are always happy to have the kitchen remake the pies, so it's not a huge deal. This location also offers a variety of vegan and vegetarian options! The whole staff is really nice from the cooks to the bartenders to the servers and maître d's. Service is one of their biggest pluses!

Made a reservation off Resy for a party of 12 a few weeks prior. At first I was given a private dining area, but requested the patio area in the back and it was easily changed. My group loved it! The food, ambiance, service was on point too as we didn't have to wait too long for our delicious food to arrive. (We ordered brussel sprouts, honeybear pizza, pesto chicken pizza, and epic BBQ chicken pizza). Parking can be tricky as it's street parking. Overall, highly recommend this location for date night, get togethers, or celebrations and I would definitely come again!

I came in and sat at the bar because I was by myself. Bobby was our bartender. He was so nice and so funny and made me feel so welcome that I didn't feel funny at all being by myself, and the margarita pizza was excellent! I really appreciated feeling welcome, because I was a little apprehensive about going by myself. I will definitely not be hesitant the next time! Thank you so much.

I am so disappointed. I wanted to surprise my husband with pizza n a slice of cake w a candle. The pizza looks great but to my dismay the cake/ dessert looks completely awful. I tried everything in my kitchen to spark this slice of cake. Even a flower No flower around. This is the hugest disappointment ever.

I am constantly pleasantly surprised by this spot. As an east coaster, my pizza expectations are high and Pitfire does a damn good job exceeding them. First of all, the service is great. Notably Bobby & Will went above and beyond to make this a good experience. Bobby recommended the Naught Sauce nitro stout (out of this world) and Will made sure everything we got was up to our standards. We ate the honey bear pizza, caesar salad, and brussel sprouts. Everything was delicious. We literally ate every last bite. Definitely stop over at Pitfire, the vibes are fantastic along with the people & food!

I fell for this restaurant because it has a similar name to a local pizzeria, PITFIRE ARTISAN PIZZA, which has one more word than this one. The latter is one of my favorites. This pizzeria has a half-open kitchen where you can watch them make the pizzas. The oven is typically pitfire-shaped but gas-driven, which makes for less flavor than a wood-burning pitfire. We went there around 4 p.m. after a trip from La Brea and happened to catch the happy hour: $10 for one of most of their pizzas and $6 for a draft beer. The price was cheap, and the beer was very good. We had THREE PHILOSOPHERS and Figueroa Mountain Light Lager; both beers were good. Regarding the food: Boneless Wings I had never had boneless wings before--interesting? The boneless wings were really tender and juicy, with a mild garlic ginger dipping sauce that balanced very well. I was curious about the texture of the boneless wings and guessed they weren't real wings, but my friend Danny didn't agree. We asked the waiter, and he told us they were chicken wings with the bones removed. Later on, I did some research and found that the culinary term "boneless wings" actually refers to chicken breasts. Anyway, the boneless wings were hot, crispy, and tender. I give them 9/10. Margherita Pizza Sadly, the most anticipated item was the worst. It was plain and boring--you couldn't taste the tomato or the wheat, and it didn't even have a sour flavor. We were all surprised that they could make a Margherita pizza so tasteless. A Margherita pizza is so easy to make with good cheese, good tomatoes, and good flour, but it seemed this pizza had none of those. Sorry, 0/10. Honey Bear Pizza This pizza was better than the Margherita one, but still not a good pizza. I'd rate it 5/10. Little Gem Caesar Salad Acceptable, but nothing special. The lettuce was fresh, but the cheese cubes were rubbery. I'd give it a 6/10.
