Chicago’s best deep-dish pizzas restaurants | Eater Chicago

"The history of deep-dish pizza is intrinsically linked to one Chicago family — the Malnatis. Rudy Malnati Sr., a longtime employee at Pizzeria Uno, is credited with helping to invent the style. His sons would go on to start a pizza empire by opening Lou Malnati’s and this smaller mini chain, Pizano’s. What sets the pies here apart from the competition is the dough, which was developed by owner Rudy Malnati Jr.’s late mother, Donna Marie Malnati. The namesake “Rudy’s Special” is a harmonious marriage of that golden crust with sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers." - Ashok Selvam

25 Classic Chicago Restaurants to Try | Eater Chicago

"Chicago’s deep-dish pizza lineage is fascinating if not a little convoluted. Pizano’s, a mini-chain with four city locations and a fifth in the suburbs, was founded by Rudy Malnati Jr., whose dad opened Pizzeria Uno and whose brother Lou went on to found the chain that still bears his name. The well-seasoned dough — made with the original Pizzeria Uno recipe — is the star here; try it in deep dish or thin crust form." - Sam Nelson

Pizano’s Pizza & Pasta Review - South Loop - Chicago - The Infatuation

"Pizano’s is a local chain that’s been around since 1991, and this is the location right across the street from McCormick Place. This spot has both thin crust and deep dish, though we’re going to suggest you go with the thin. We appreciate the buttery cracker crust, and we always order it with pepperoni. If it’s nice out, sit on the patio." - Adrian Kane

Came here on a Chicago rainy day. Got seated right away. Ordered Rudy's pizza with thin crust, calamari, and pasta with sausage and mushrooms. The calamari is crunchy in the outside and soft inside. The pasta has creamy flavor, not too salty. The pizza has the right sauce and cheese. Service was fast. The restaurant has a good atmosphere.

I’m a thin crust pizza lover through and through, so deep dish has never really been my thing. But since I was visiting Chicago from Florida, I figured I had to give it a try! I stopped by Pizano’s, and while the pizza was fresh and loaded with cheese, it just wasn’t for me. It had way more cheese than I am use to. Was also wet, not sure where they came from, maybe too much sauce for my liking. That said, the staff was friendly, and I’m glad I gave Chicago deep dish a shot. Still, I have to say, it there’s nothing like good ol’ Florida pizza for me!

Google
Tried deep dish pizza for the first time here, and it did not disappoint! The pizza was delicious—great flavor and perfectly cooked. The customer service was top-notch, super friendly and attentive. We sat outside under an umbrella, which made for a nice and relaxed atmosphere. It’s also conveniently close to parking garages, so getting there was easy. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for an authentic Chicago deep dish experience!

Google
This is like a old timey sports bar shelling out pizzas and pastas. The interior is full of families, dads in groups, and tourists given the area. The deep dish pizzas are good but not great in that while the toppings taste great, the tomato sauce comes off a bit generic. The crust is crunchy, thick, and packed with butter. The deep dishes take almost half an hour to create so don't arrive too hungry because you'll be waiting a bit! They serve individual sized pizzas which are only $12 as of July 2025 instead of the much larger "small" sized pizzas which are over $20.

Google
Our absolutely favorite restaurant in Chicago for deep dish pizza. We make an annual pilgrimage to the Windy City, and this is the first place we hit after dropping our bags off at our favorite hotel, The Palmer House. Tonight we had the deep dish Mark’s Special, the clam linguine and the chicken Parmesan as entree’s and the calamari and tortellini soup as appetizers. Noah, our absolutely attentive and sweet server, surprised us with the dessert: hot chocolate brownies with vanilla icecream. He makes great beer suggestions; so ask him! Love, love, love Pizano’s. Bellissima ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Google
Great Chicago pizza experience. Efficient service. Friendly as Chicago service gets! Cheese pizza was good, super cheesy. Fried raviolis are exactly what you expect. Neat atmosphere. Also, there are multiple locations.

Google
Food: The best deep dish we've had. Tasty and cooked to perfection. We also ordered a thin crust pie, which was very good too. I also recommend ordering the Annette's Cookie desert. Delicious! Service: Little did we know, but we were served by a local celebrity. The one and only "The Chach" or "Uncle Chach". He has been working at this restaurant for over 50 years. Google him. We had a nice chat and even made us "family". Atmosphere: As soon as you walk in the look and feeling of that "good ol' pizza joint" comes at you. They have hundreds of pictures and memorabilia on their walls. Cost: $100+ with tip. Overall: This will be a place to return the next time we comeback to Chicago. Hopefully we can see "The Chach" again.

Google
Had some amazing deep dish here along with a tasty Mai tai! Definitely check out their wings too. Not too saucy!

Yelp
I walked in on a Monday night, grabbed a seat at the bar, and was greeted immediately by a kind and welcoming bartender. Being my first time in, a thoughtful list of food suggestions was much appreciated. The individual deep dish was the perfect size for one. The sauce was made slightly acidic and could have used to be neutralized. Luckily they provide Parmesan in a shaker which helped a lot. It was a good experience overall and something about this place felt like home. Not to mention it came with a complimentary old obnoxious Italian man telling people to "Fuhgeddaboudit" and to "get outta here" over the football game. Good food, good wine, great vibes.

Yelp
Nice comfortable vibe but in no city in any country have I ever had to put salt on a pizza. I had to here. 'Nuff said.

Yelp
I walked into Pizano's cause it looked cute from the outside and wow did I luck out. The pizza was a 10/10. I got the deep dish Hawaiian and it was so delicious. The bartender lady here is also super rad. I sort of wish we were friends. Highly recommend.

Yelp
First time here! We had pizza at least once a day on our 5 day journey to Chicago. We tried to do a pizza tour we made up! Haha This was the best one we went to. Cheesy bread - SO GOOD!!! Enough garlic, plenty of cheese. Delicious! 9/10. Thin crust pepperoni pizza - looks like there is only 1 pepperoni, but it's all under the cheese. The dough was not my favorite here, but the pepperoni to cheese ratio was pretty good. 8/10 pizza Deep dish meat lovers - very soggy, was dripping quite a lot. Again the dough was eh, not great. But there was definitely a lot of meat in this pizza and was pretty good. 7.5/10 deep dish pizza. Service here was pretty good! The waitress was very attentive and kind. Atmosphere - a little dingy but the service and the food makes up for it!

Yelp
I was in the mood for deep dish and this was close to my hotel. There's outdoor seating as well when weather permits. There's a bar and plenty of seating. High tops and table tops. My small party was actually seated in another smaller side room. Unfortunately the experience didn't start well as we waited probably 5 minutes to be seated. We ended up being seated by a server who noticed we were waiting. It wasn't a cold night but the restaurant was uncomfortably warm. Service was the best and the pizza was underwhelming. The cheesy garlic bread was good though.

Yelp
I came here last week for work and pizza was phenomenal. Staff was friendly. I have nothing but great things to say about pizano pizza

Yelp
This is by far the most difficult and confusing review I've ever had to do. To clarify, it's only because I'm torn between a 4 star and 5 star review and he's why. We ordered a sausage and pepperoni thin crust. Every single ingredient was fresh and of high quality. The cheese was perfect, the tomatoes taste fresh but lacked a little flavor, the sausage texture and perfect but it also lacked a little flavor, and the crust had me a little confused. The crust was great but it was very different and like nothing I've ever had. The best way to describe it would be a cross between a cheese it cracker, thin cracker, and Parmesan crisp. All together, the pizza was a 4 with 5 star ingredients. The place was very clean and organized. It was two stories with the bathroom location downstairs. We sat at the bar and both bartenders were pretty amazing. We were immediately greeted, they engaged in conversations, were friendly, and consistently checked on us. With beers we payed just $41 and it was located in the center of millennium park. I'd come back and definitely recommend if you're looking for the Chicago pizza experience.

Yelp
If I was to ever have my first ever Chicago-style deep dish pizza, what better place than to get it at the source: Chitown. I'm really not much of a deep dish kinda girl. However, as the saying goes...when in Rome. I asked a few locals and try Giordano's they said. Seeing that we were already downtown and close to Millennium Park, Pizano's was close by. We wanted to sit al fresco but rain drops started falling on our heads. Patrick quickly moved us inside to a corner table by the window. We had the small Rudy's Special deep dish of sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. It was plenty of pie for 3 people. The crust was toasted nicely at the bottom and I didn't find it soggy at all. I think there's a good ratio of mozzarella to sauce to dough. A stranger I met on the shuttle bus told me that he has tried both and that Giordano's just has too much cheese. When I heard that, I knew I would like Pizano's a lot better. We also had their summer pasta special Rigatoni Pomodoro. Perfectly al dente rigatoni, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, chicken, garlic and olive oil. It was a simple pasta dish that just completed my carb-loaded meal for the day. I wish I had room for a tiramisu but we ha d a plane to catch. Pizano's is exactly what you'd expect from an Italian pizzeria. The ambiance was unpretentious, food was satisfying, and service was excellent from Miranda.

Yelp
It was good. Kelsi made the experience better. I've had better cheese curds. They were so garlic forward that I don't think I'll be bitten by any vampires any time soon. The thin crust pizza was a winner. They got the gold for having green olives on the menu. We turned down a different path and opted for the thin pizza rather than the deep dish pizza. The crust is the authentic Chicago crispy cracker crust. It was around lunchtime and they were swamped for a Thursday afternoon crowd. If you head downstairs to the bathroom, you will notice a private room that is perfect for parties.

Yelp
I didn't know this was linked to Malnati's until I came inside. I guess it's known more for it's thin crust. We wanted Deep Dish and this was the closest spot so we thought we'd check it out. It's very similar to Lou Malnati's with the exception that in our case the crust was burnt to much where it was more like a cracker. Maybe this was an anomaly or perhaps this is how it's made - I've only been once but that's my one gripe. Otherwise, it was a good.

Yelp
We were wanting to try a different deep dish place while in Chicago, so stumbled on Pizano's. As an appetizer we ordered the calamari which was hot and crispy! Then waited on our deep dish. As always, deep dishes take a while to make, so we enjoyed some sangria's along with our appetizer! We ordered the Rudy's special which had sausage, mushrooms, and peppers. It was pretty good, but there was quite a bit of liquid from the juices and slightly bland. We stilled enjoyed the pizza but I'm not quite sure what was missing! It was a great time to catch up with family and the service was excellent!

Yelp
This place was super busy when we came on a Sunday night for dinner so I recommend planning to wait or seeing if you can get a reservation. Despite that, we were able to find two seats at the bar and ate there. Deep dish pizza was good and had a thick crust, which I like. Ambiance was busy and a bit chaotic/you feel crammed in the place even though they have two floors and it appears spacious. Service was friendly but the waiter did not come back really to check on us. Maybe that is because it was busy. I did try their seasonal cocktails where were fun and delicious. Out of all the pizza places I have tried in Chicago this one is ok, but not the best for flavor, value, and ambience.

Yelp
This is as good as Chicago pizza gets, have had Giordano's and Malnatti both good but always come back here! Deep dish done right w plenty of meat, sauce, and cheese! Marks special always fabulous w basil, tomatoes and just the right amount of garlic, the secret here is in the crust, buttery and flaky, fabulous!!
google avatar

Yelp
Place was very busy. We went after the bears/vikings game. Hostess said about 30 minute wait. Was about 20. Waitress was on the ball. Place was busy and she checked on us often. Wait for pizza was about 40 minutes and so worth it. Their pasta tortellini's with prosciutto was AMAZING. I'm allergic to dairy and no cheese in them. Instead of the cream sauce I switched to meat sauce. So yummy
google avatar

Kimberlyn M.

Yelp
I had some of the best gnocchi I've had in years (since I lived in Rome). I added mushrooms and spinach and it was delectable and HUGE!! I wish I wasn't going straight to a concert, because it would have supplied my lunch the next day. Would definitely return to try other menu items. I heard the pizza was also good but we didn't have time to have it this trip (we were told they it would take 25-30 minutes as it's deep dish and cooked to order. The only drawback was that they didn't have coffee (an Italian restaurant without coffee, horrors)! Highly recommend!!

Yelp
My husband and I came in on a weekend around lunch time and were able to get a seat at the bar. Our bartender was great - friendly, provided quick service, and made some great tasting drinks. The restaurant seemed family friendly and prices were reasonable.
google avatar

Yelp
Been here twice and have to say that this is my favorite deep dish pizza spot in Chicago. It feels like a little hole in the wall since it's tucked away in the Loop but always seems to be busy, likely because their food is good. Their pizza never feels too greasy or heavy like other places and you'll get a nice string pull if you want fun photos! Our waiter was friendly and the food came out at a reasonable time for deep dish (maybe waited 20-30 minutes) even with a full house. My favorite is Mark's Special.
google avatar

Denny R.

Yelp
We had a great visit to Pizano's while stuck at O'Hare airport! We took the train into town and ate a great meal on the sidewalk and made it back with plenty of time for our 12 hour delayed flight! We got some delicious deep dish and some yummy gnocchis. The service was good and the atmosphere was great. It's an old school Italian sports bar kinda place.
google avatar

Yelp
This place was recommended by hotel concierge, visited late night on a Wednesday. It was delicious. The bar vibe was fantastic, servers were so kind and attentive. The thin crust pizza was fresh, hot and tasty!
google avatar

K C.

Yelp
Food was delicious. We got full off the small, so we couldn't finish it. We also had a salad before hand cuz the pizza is made fresh so it takes about 30 mins. We didn't mind the wait. They played awesome 90's hits !!

Alvaro B.

Yelp
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We had an awful experience with the staff at this location. We had to open the emergency door to enter because our stroller didn't fit through the revolving door. Instead of being understanding, the staff became upset and blocked the door which you're not supposed to block anytime! Then when we were leaving they directed us to exit through the alley in the back. and slam the door in my face because I was asking him why they blocked the door. The blonde woman at the front desk, who I believe was the manager, and a tall afroamerican man who appeared to be in charge were both rude and unhelpful. Thankfully, the waiter and the staff downstairs were much friendlier and more accommodating.
google avatar

Yelp
We used to enjoy Pizano's Glenview location quite often. But the location closed during covid. Since we were in the downtown area we decided to have some pizza here. Inside reminded me of Glenview location with all the sports memorabilia. We were seated right away and our server quickly arrived with water and took order for drinks. Upon arriving with our drinks we asked for an order of garlic bread. The garlic bread was a great start with minced fresh garlic and parsley. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just perfect. We ordered a large veggie pizza. This was great as it has enough veggies (onion, green peppers and mushrooms), enough cheese and enough dough for a consistent crunch at each bite. I enjoy their pizza cause it is not too salty compared to other places. In all, great evening with great pizza!
google avatar

Yelp
Ah, Sofia was bellissima! We were seated with her in the basement. She was a hard worker, always smiling, and the pizza? Perfetto! Sofia really made-a our night unforgettable!

Yelp
I hate to only give this particular family owned place, three stars, but perhaps it was their style of Chicago pizza that I didn't like? The service, and everything else was perfectly fine, and the place was a little dim/dark from my liking especially since I just got off of an airplane, but it was a typical sports bar setting with a lot of different Sports paraphernalia! Our server was incredibly sweet and friendly, and even though we were seated right by their station for folding forks and prepping, the lady would still walk around to the front of our table when she was talking to us. Within that aspect, I would definitely give this company four or five stars, but it was mainly the pizza wasn't as delicious as I thought it would be, since everybody always talks about Chicago pizza, and I love the crust!! The sauce seemed very bland, and quite frankly, just like tomato with a little bit of basil and I couldn't taste garlic or any other seasonings within the tomato/marinara mixture on the top of the pizza. The crust was fine, but the taste of bread itself didn't have any flavor. So for that reason, I have to give an overall 3-star. On the other hand, when we got the chicken marsala, that completely tasted delicious, and had the best sauce! We actually dipped our pizza crust into the marsala sauce, because it tasted so refined and peppery, and yet sweet with the marsala wine mix into it!! This place is chicken marsala was completely 1000 times better than any Chicago pizza I've had on the West Coast. I guess I'll have to try another Chicago pizza place to see if I actually like traditional Chicago pizza. Although I've tried Uno pizzeria on the West Coast and I like their version of Chicago pizza. .
google avatar

Youssef A.

Yelp
Excellent service, cheese and tomato. Crust is nothing to do with pizza. It is good for some cake or something. I do not appreciate the bill that comes immediately after the last bite: I do not think they do so in Italy where things are slow and enjoyable. Excellent location.

Yelp
What a happy accident I had last week. During a busy conference in Chicago, Me and a few colleagues were looking for a pizza place to celebrate the final day of the conference. Our first destination was a Giordano's near our hotel, fining the wait there was too long, we called over to Pizano's and were told they had immediate seating. A quick decision was made to walk a couple more blocks over this Pizano's on Madison. What a happy accident. Let's start with the waiter....well, we didn't have a waiter, we had a Chicago legend, The Chach! Holy crap was he an experience. Story after story of his great times and experiences in serving the folks for the past 40 years at this institution. Spending time with Uncle Chach was an unforgettable experience. The food itself was classic, Chicago style pizza. We ordered a deep dish, a thin crust and I went rouge and got an Italian beef, on garlic bread with sweet peppers. Everything was phenomenal. Probably one of the best beef sandwiches I've ever had. In keeping with the local custom, I ordered an Old Style as well, very happy with that beer choice. To close the evening Uncle Chach brought us out a fantastic fresh baked cinnamon, chocolate, Carmel cookie desert. The evening was so much fun that as a team we decided dinner at Pizano's was going to be our new end of conference tradition.

Brian J.

Yelp
Ordered three different pizzas to go. Two thin crust and one deep dish. They were ready on time and delicious.

Saba A.

Yelp
I read so many great reviews I was pretty shocked at the quality of food. We got a large thin crust pizza and gnocchi in vodka sauce. The gnocchi felt so doughy and ick. They gave us the wrong order of pasta initially too and the bread served with it was cold and not sliced at all. The only good thing was the breadsticks. The pizza felt too crispy and just all cheese. Disappointed I spent my money on this Felt like a waste of money
google avatar

Sharkus N.

Yelp
My deep dish was decisively mediocre and the service slow and unfriendly. You can definitely find better deep dish elsewhere.
google avatar

Mike P.

Yelp
I usually hit this place for lunch when in the Corwith area. They have a huge menu with lots of choices. Service is pretty good as they aren't very busy around the 1130 hour. I may try out this place for HH as it looks like they have a decent tap and drink set up. Try them out when you're on the south side.

Yelp
Pizano's was a stop on the Chicago Pizza tour. We tried thin crust and a thick crust here and both were delicious. The service was also great for our party of 20. I wouldn't hesitate to go back!

Yelp
Amazing pizza on our trip to Chicago ! Friendly staff and clean restaurant. This was our first stop on a pizza tour of Chicago area and it did not disappoint.
google avatar

Yelp
Pizza is amazing, try the thin crust. Make sure you ask to be served by the Chach, he is a Chicago legend and he makes the trip worth twice the price. Loved the place and the food and loved the Chach, once in a lifetime experience make sure you go. Loved the old Chicago building.

Yelp
Love love this place! I came here for my birthday dinner back in June. If you're looking for bomb Italian food and delicious cocktails this is the place! Along w the yummy bone in wings. Tashianna was our server a complete doll love her vibe and her energy! Coming back for sure when were back in town.
google avatar

Yelp
The restaurant was busy, but service was quick. This is our second attempt at trying a Chicago-style pizza and it was a success! We ordered: Calamari Caesar salad Thin-crust pizza with pepperoni Our preference is a crispy, thin-crust pizza. I was expecting this thin-crust to be similar to our thin-crust pizza. It was not. It was denser, still crispy, but dense. It was delicious! Left overs were warmed up next day in the hotel microwave. It was still crispy! The restaurant is simultaneously small and large at the same time. There's a lot seating, but tables are close together. There's also outside seating. When we were there, the clientele was a mix of locals and tourists. This place is a repeat! Enjoy!

Yelp
Very attentive service, especially at a busy time like lollapalooza the restaurant has a comforting feel to it With sports memorabilia . Food was f**K amazing.
google avatar

Yelp
I wasn't impressed. It was busy when we got there, but were seated in about 10 minutes. The waitress arrived quickly to take our order and returned within 15 minutes with our drinks and dinnerware. At this point things fell drastically. The next time we saw her was nearly an hour later. The manager (I assume since he was giving directions to everyone else) and a busser refilled our drinks a couple times. At the end of the evening I spoke to the manager about the service and I feel that to say he didn't care would be appropriate. The food was okay at best. Loud and noisy, halfway through the wife and I decided there was no way we would return during our trip.0

Yelp
I came here in September. The prices were better than the other restaurants I had seen I ordered the individual deep dish pizza, and it was amazing. It was my first time having a deep dish in 15 years and my first Chicago deep dish pizza.
google avatar

Amber Y.

Yelp
The host at the front door has a horrible attitude. But the lady at the bar was super sweet and she made sure I was taking care of. The personal deep dish meat lover's pizza wasn't all that great. The pizza crust was extra hard. And I waited 30 minutes for my pizza. The sauce was watery. But the cheese was good and it was a lot. There wasn't much meat for a meat lovers pizza. The ambience was cute they actually have a jukebox and old Christmas decorations.
google avatar

Todd M.

Yelp
A solid choice in Chicago, as one of the founding fathers in the pizza world started this place. Know for deep dish and tavern style cracker crust pizza, definitely have some good contenders here. As our first stop in a pizza tour they hit the bullseye with their deep dish. Very fresh and flavor. The cracker crust was too crispy for me the sausage topping however was delicious. Lots of famous people have visited Pizanos.

Yelp
I love it so much. It's because Pisano's pizza makes the best pizza in the world. When I got a pepperoni pizza, the pepperonis were good and fresh and the cheese was so stringy, which is satisfying and very good 5 out of 5

Yelp
Some great Za to start us off whilst visiting Chicago for the first time. Loved everything about Pizanos. From the vastly sport decorated walls of Chicago greats, to the raucous and lively sounds of the restaurant, it was a perfect lunch and dinner experience both times we visited. The customer service was superb. We were greeted and sat right away even though it was busy. Our waiter was very friendly providing some great recommendations and circling around always available if we needed anything. The pizza was delicious! We went with the thin crust both times and my oh my was it good. The sauce on the pizza is superb and the peppers as well. Loved this place and can't wait to visit again.

Yelp
Had pizza & apps. It was good! Really liked the Mark special. Service was excellent.

Yelp
Cute little place! Staff are kind and garlic cheese bread was a huge serving! Marinara had a little spice to it. Comfortable bar seats.

Yelp
Pizano's - For appetizer we got the spinach and artichoke dip. It was delicious. 10/10. We got to meet the legend Unc Chach, he gave us some wise words along with amazing hospitality. Made us feel at home. We ordered a deep dish small cheese pizza. Perfect size for two. By far one of the best pizzas, I ever had in Chicago area. We paired it up with a blue moon beer and a strawberry spritz. Lastly, uncle Chach made us his special Cinnamon dessert. Definitely a memorable experience one that won't be forgotten.

Yelp
SO THIS THAT DEEP DISH! Amazing! Had a great time with this pizza. I think anyone who comes to Chicago should try the deep dish here because they make it fresh, and it comes out nice and cheesy, warm, and crispy. Service was also great! Everyone here super nice. Ambiance was OK. Pretty dark inside tho.

Yelp
Ok: Time is 12:36 PM. NYE 2022. I'm checked in w a couple of my kids and my grandson Didz. I'm nervous! I love Chicago pizza. Have been to man great places here. I've had a few folks tell me that Pizanos pizza is good if it's the thin crust. But not the thick. So we're taking our chances and getting a thin crust with basically meat and a side of hot giardinere (so)...oh and I got an Anti hero beer. I've read the reviews and they're mixed. Nonetheless, stay tuned for my take. So far the beer is dope! In the mean time...Rudy Malnati is Lou Malnatis half brother and the founder of Pizanos and Pizzeria Uno. Wow...I'll bet there's some history there give the Lou Malnati's deep dish is dope AF! Ok: Time is 12:55 PM. It really does not look bad! My son loves it. There corn meal in the crust fo sho! Crust is pretty crispy. If you like that! Daughter says it is pretty good and so do I. Didz says it's awesome too. It's not quite a 5 but more than 4. I'm giving it a 5! I like it. I'd come back!!

Yelp
The buttery crust was divine! My husband preferred Giordano's, but I'm 100% on board with Pizano's. I thought Giordano's was bland. However, I thought the wings were better at Giordano's. The buttery crust at Pizano's held the toppings in nicely, without stealing the spotlight. I found it to be well-balanced. The crispy crust offers the much needed texture. We ordered the Hawaiian pizza, which may not be everyone's top choice, but we loved it! We also loved the warm and friendly service and ambiance. I wouldn't return to Giordano's, but I would go back to Pizano's.

Yelp
We wanted deep dish pizza and came across this restaurant with highly rated reviews. The restaurant itself was a nice cozy vibe. The server was a sweetheart. We ended up ordering Mark's Special deep dish pizza and Risotto. Honestly, the pizza looked like a 5 year old put it together. It was horrible. The bread was over baked and the pizza had no flavor. My girlfriend and I had only had one slice each. The risotto wasn't good either. The server came by and asked if we wanted take out boxes and we said no. That's how bad the food was.
