This small and quaint pizzeria, delivers incredible New York style pizza with carefully crafted ingredients that you will have to try to believe. I'm a pepperoni fan but I've never had pepperoni quite as good as they do it, aged properly which allows it to bring the most incredible flavor. You can also find delicious wings and salads available. Drink selection may feel a little bit limited as there's no fountain but they have delicious iced teas and lemonades available. They recently expanded to have a more opened up dining room so you'll be able to come in and enjoy yourself for any given even evening when you need to bring over a friend. This is a great place that you should visit if you happen to be in the Altadena area. They are also a lbgtq+ plus friendly establishment.

This is a small family owned pizza restaurant. The staff was super nice and the cashier greeted everyone by name. The salad is fresh and the house dressing is light and herby. The dry lemon rubbed wings were moist but crispy on the outside. My family liked the meat lovers pizza but I think the pesto chango pizza was our best order for the night. They also sell fresh sauces and dressings. Apparently, the Korean sauce is their best seller.

Great pizza in a great venue. Owner / staff seemed welcoming. It’s on the pricier side, but was worth it for us.

The vibe is laid back with interesting art and a casual atmosphere. Great service and friendly staff. They serve up delicious thin crust pizzas with a wide array of fresh ingredients and inventive pies. Both the mushroom pizza and the POV really hit the spot. If you go with a friend I’d recommend sharing one pizza and a couple bites. The house salad has an excellent balance of greens, crunchy almond slices and a spot on dressing. I also highly recommend the cauliflower bites in a mango habanero sauce. Yummy.

The best pizza, wings, and salad we’ve ever had! This food is high quality, without any shadow of a doubt. They make their own sauces and they are simply phenomenal. Their ranch is unique. We always order extra ranch. Everything tastes so fresh and is so incredibly delicious. We don’t get pizza OR wings from anywhere else anymore. If you’re looking to branch out, try their curry sauce. It’s phenomenal.

The pizza is amazing, the chicken was good (korean sauce), but the amount of sauce on the cauliflower was overwhelming. I think sauce on the side will be better

Pizza of Venice is a great pizza spot for all ages. With everything homemade(except the cheese and ketchup) and great customer service. The overall menu has a lot of options not only for regular people but for vegetarians as well(Over half the menu is vegetarian friendly).When approaching the resturant you are met with homegrown jalepenos and other peppers. Their drink menu consists of homemade pineapple, lemonade, and hibiscus juice. It also consists of cold coffee. The home-like feeling when eating there really was it for me. I plan on returning again and again. It was a pleasure eating there.

The pizza was very dry, crust was super thin and for a barbecue chicken pizza, everything was just wrong. There were bell peppers on it, not enough barbecue sauce and the chicken could barely be tasted.

I am so saddened that Pizza of Venice burned down like so many other businesses in Altadena. This was hands down the best pizza in Pasadena/Altadena area. I hope they rebuild.

Wing Wednesday's. Tried Lemon ( Pepper ) Wings This night when I walked in felt like a dive-bar in Hermosa. This not PRIME PIZZA. Went here, cause it's close to me. Lemon ( Pepper ) Wings, had no taste of Lemon. Think it coud've been Habinero ¿ Won't be back for the wings.

Ok...this place is fire...Pizza is amazing. Tight crust, cheese, sauce and meat on our aged pepperoni pizza. It a MUST order. The sausage with serrano peppers was great too. Local craft beer represents well and wine options are solid. The service was great - wish I was good with names but she was so helpful and attentive we'll be back and hope she's in charge again.

I wanted some pizza, so while in the area, I ran into this little hidden treasure that had a trendy vibe with considerable types of pizzas. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was fantastic. It was tasty with a nice crust. Very light and filled with quality ingredients. I was greeted with kindness and gratitude. Small Indoor seating inside and outside Easy parking Note: When you check in you get a free lemonade.

The "plant based" pizza looked good but I got the even better looking Pesto Change-O Pizza with (vegan!) Spinach basil cashew pesto, garlic, bell pepper, pine nuts, basil, arugula, and chive oil. So good I had to have another beer from Cerveceria del Pueblo.

Overall great experience and really comfy indoor chairs. The last time I visited, was quite some time ago, and I still find it very tasty. My family and I (3 ppl) came in Monday afternoon. We were greeted warmly, and ordered relatively quickly. We got a chopped salad, Brussels sprouts w/ their Korean-style sauce, and margarita and mushroom pizzas. Food came out quickly and everything tasted fresh and delicious. My only comment was that the Brussels sprouts had a tad too much sauce, I might ask for it on the side next time. We were so hungry, I didn't take photos. I mostly came here to comment about how comfy their dining chairs are. Nicely cushioned for the rear end

This is gotta be the best pizza on planet earth! Homemade pepperoni, the most crispy delicious wings you'll ever have, the Belgian fries are a must try, and the salads are like from a Michelin star restaurant. This is a destination, but it's gonna become a part of my weekly routine. They only have personal pizzas and it's super thin crust, and I would come with a group so I could try as much as possible plenty of seating, really good local craft beer, selection, and natural wines galore.

Almost a year later, still a big fan of their margherita pizza! Also, tried the "house salad" yesterday, and it was great too. Light and refreshing, with local produce, it's obvious they put a lot of care into it. I'm not really a salad guy, but it was tasty and satisfying. Plus, the place now offers a dining room. We still choose to eat outside, but it's nice to know that's there for future visits. And, friendly service, as always.

I just had to shout out how great this place is. If you are a foodie check them out. Great thin crust pizzas. They cure their own meats and just make great pies. Their Altadena salad is awesome. Fried Brussel sprouts are amazing as are their wings. And .... They now fo Belgian french fries which are literally the best fries i have ever had - snd i am OLD so that's saying something. They recently added a much needed indoor seating area and now have a nicely curated selection of beers and wines. They just do an amazing job. It is worth driving across town for. Don't let the location deter you! If you are anything close to a foodie check this place out!!!!

WOW!! i had a hankering for some delicious pizza pie and purposely didn't bring lunch to sample what the area had to offer. opening yelp, this wonderful restaurant was recommended to me. i ordered a margherita pizza with black beans for online pickup. got to the store and my order was ready. i took a nice little snap of it and was astonished by how photogenic it was. the service was good, front counter was courteous and quick. now the pizza... WOW!! it was a delicious high quality thin crust, not hard and crunchy like a cracker but a delicious soft dough with a bite! the sauce was so delicious and the ingredients felt of a great quality. this pizza hit the spot i needed it to, and the margherita was good for two meals, i had half for lunch and half after my shift. that came out to about $7 a meal which is great to me! yes!! i recommend this restaurant if you're in the area! delicious food and good service!

Honestly, this was the BEST pizza I've had in forever. Went here with my grandchildren after attending an art event in the same strip mall....we shared two pizzas--a cheese and a mushroom pizza (requested light cheese)--the crust was thin and crispy; they make their own pizza sauce--truly delicious; the cheese pizza was cheesy; the mushroom pizza had a generous amount of fresh mushrooms, and as my granddaughter requested, light on the cheese. Truly awesome. I also enjoyed one of their local beers--a tasty porter. Overall, a great experience. Look forward to returning and trying some of the other menu items, like brussels sprouts and salads. The service was friendly, prompt, and wonderful.

Their pizza is insanely good, me and my gf commuted about an hour to get here and it was soo worth it. The service is fast, the employees are friendly, and I love how the guava juice is made from their guava trees outside. Their ranch is homemade as well, and pairs perfectly with their pizza. It's vegetarian friendly, and I'm surprised it's not more expensive considering how the quality is amazing.

If you're wanting Gourmet pizza at an affordable price, you've found the right place!! Gourmet chef, house made sauces, amazing versatility of specialty pizza combinations, all brick oven cooked, and house cured & smoked meats and cheeses on site!! Great staff, amazing owners, and such strong supporters of local businesses as well, which is always amazing to find! Great indoor and outdoor seating surrounded by tropical fruit trees! BEST PIZZA in ALTADENA!!

Ordered the meat lovers and the Don. Really liked both. Obviously a higher price point than your chain pizza places, but I thought it was worth it. Pizza was ready when promised. Ingredients were notable delicious - very easy to tell that they use higher quality ingredients and/or spice their pizza better than you chains. I would definitely order again and try the other pizzas. Had separately ordered wings on Wednesday (the special), and very good quality wings - well sauced.

The pizza are nice and thin with a great chew. The char from the brick oven is awesome. Great crisp from the center to the crust.. and you will definitely eat the crust. Very firm pizza with very little flop. We got the chicken curry, smoked fungi and margherita, all were good it really depends on what flavors you feel like. Definitely an artisan pizza with fresh ingredients. Not your standard pizzeria slice. One is enough to share if you just kinda hungry, two pizzas would be a lot for two people, but I guess it depends on how much you eat. If I was really hungry I guess I could finish one. Like I'm creating a math equation... Sorry Nice staff, will explain the menu and make specialty items to adjust to what you want. Small place so one party can fit inside and one outside.. so we took the pizzas home. Definitely coming back to try the different kinds of pizzas! Must try in Pasadena/altadena area. Dragon egg approved!

Amazing pizza! You can tell ingredients are not from Restaurant Depot or Sysco foods. You can really taste the quality. Staff was really great too! Patrick helped my fiancee and I out! Really great guy!

First, I want to say the woman who answered the phone was very kind! The service was great upon pickup as well. The food however was AWFUL. This is probably the worst pizza experience I've ever had. First of all, I'm gluten free, and was really excited to see they had a gf crust because that's not always the case at pizza places. However, their gf crust which is labeled as "potato crust" on the ordering site is literal potatoes. I thought it was crust made with potato flour, as many gf crusts are, but it's literally sliced potatoes with pizza toppings on it. It was soggy, messy, and not delightful. The red sauce on the potato was meh as well. At least the toppings were ok, I guess. We also ordered wings, which is what I originally called to ask about because many sauces have hidden gluten, so I have to be careful and there wasn't a description of the sauces on the internet. Again, the person I talked to on the phone was helpful and cheery. I told her I was looking for something kinda sweet and spicy and gf and she recommended the mango habanero. I love both mangos and habaneros, and often times choose this sauce at other places as well, so I figured I'd at least have wings to eat. Unfortunately, the sauce was flavorless. It wasn't even spicy! The wings themselves were fine, but it tasted like I was eating naked wings. The sauce was pretty much flavorless. The fries were ok. Honestly, the best part of the meal was the aioli that came with the fries. 10/10 DISAPPOINTING I would also recommend that there be more description on the website of the potato crust and wing sauces. If it was clear this was literal potatoes and not a crust, I would have found somewhere else to eat tonight. As it stands, it's 920p and I'm hungry and have to find somewhere else to eat because this is not good.

Randomly found this l pizza place after my son's graduation. They accommodated our group of 12 easy, service was fast, staff was so friendly and PIZZA WAS INSANELY GOOD!!!!!! May be the best you'll ever have.

The pizza and fries are soo good! And service as well, we wandered in close to closing last night (had an event nearby) not knowing they closed at 8, but we still felt welcomed and the younger blonde guy at register did an excellent job. We had a Hawaiian type pizza with dried pineapple, which sounds weird but was SO good! And fries with their garlic sauce, I'd go back for those two items for sure. We also had a supreme pizza that was delicious as well. Also, tried their freshly made lime guava lemonade, we loved it. Wish we lived closer, would be there more often!

Love this place so much! Not only is the food delicious, the staff are super nice. Definitely worth getting on their email list, as they have weekly specials that sell out fast, like braised short ribs, truffle mac & cheese pizza, and giant carrot cake slices. The menu is planned with care to interesting and delicious flavor pairings. And their limeade flavors (sweetened with sugarcane) change weekly, based on what fruits are local and in season. Much of the fruit is local to Altadena itself, like the strawberry guava grown on the front patio of the restaurant. The pizzas themselves are a level of deliciousness unmatched in the SGV. Try the Belgian fries! Thick cut, well-salted, and with super flavorful aioli. Every time I'm here, local folks are hanging out and enjoying themselves.

Amazing !! Hidden gem, absolutely love the flavors and delicacy. They hand cut their Belgian fries and they are beyond delish! They also delivered perfectly on Uber eats. Vegan options are great Pizza is next level. The wings are great but the sprouts are better. The fries are probably my favorite. Crew is kind and it always feels like Cheers picking up. The tables outside and renovations really made it a nice vibe. Friends visting always insist on POV.

The pizzas at PoV are amazing. My wife and I get them at least once a month, have tried at least 5 different pies from here and they are all delicious. We mostly order for pickup or delivery but I've eaten there once and the ambience is nice, nothing to write home about, but their pizzas are worth poems! Highly recommend their POV and their Kevin Bacon. The pies are thin (just how I like it) and a good size. If you are very hungry you can eat one by yourself or you can share. Wife and I usually get 2 and are left with some for the next day.

1st timer here. Got the special pizza of the month, "The Modena", because, on paper, it reminded me of Carbonara which is my favorite pasta dish. This pizza far exceeded my expectations. An 'all-timer; for me. Besides delicious, the only other word I can think of for this pizza is unctuous. And I mean that in the most complimentary way. The guanciale and caramelized onion left a wonderful, fatty, velvety feeling on the tongue. And kudos to the maniac, mad scientist that worked out the cured, grated egg yolk. Absolutely fantastic! If you're anywhere near Altadena this month, try this pizza!! Besides that, clean place, nice people, good service.

Very cool atmosphere and small pizza place with some good selection of artisan pizzas, I try the north east LA but I think it should be named Mexican pizza as it has everything we Mexicans like lol avocado chorizo beans onions, the lady that was serving was super nice and helpful, will definitely one back whenever I am in the area

Ordered a Margherita and a Smoked Fungi Pizza + a House Salad for Father's day while watching a movie night. :-) Delivery was under the promised hour, pizza was hot and the salad was cold. Delivery dude was cool - sorry, I got distracted by my neighbors walking by with their dogs just as the pizza arrived. Pizza crusts were deliciously thin - and they hit that perfect congruence of knowing that you were eating a breaded crust but not a gooey doughy mass of gluten. Ingredients were plentiful and fresh, and the spices were very well balanced. I have to agree that this is definitely the best pizza in the area. The kids shared the Margherita (mostly my youngest) and said that they loved it. (I wasn't even given the opportunity to sample any of it...) My eldest and I shared the Smoked Fungi. She enjoyed it (she's still getting into mushrooms), and I loved being able to distinguish at least 3 different kinds of mushrooms. The flavor of the mushrooms, smoked mozzarella and onions just exploded in my mouth ... I.WILL.ORDER.THIS.AGAIN! :-) House Salad was a quite large portion. I'll be having the rest of that for lunch tomorrow.

Delicious pizzas, amazing staff! But, to me, their most amazing dish is their Altadena Salad. OMG, it's heaven in the form of fruits and veggies and the most amazing dressing in the universe! Sooo addicted to it! Oh and their brownies and carrot cake are yum, too. (And I don't even usually like carrot cake!) Give this place a try, you'll be hooked forever!

Kind of overpriced if you get anything with toppings. The flavor was okay, nothing incredible. We spent $40 on 2 small pizzas and the crust was burnt. I would suggest you start small with the margarita or cheese to get the idea of the pizza before venturing to the pricier, more experimental pies. Pass on the limeade.

We love, love, LOVE POV! All their pizzas are great, but our go-to is Marguerita Mondays with the house salad and fabulous limeades. It's our perfect way to avoid a case of the Mondays and start our week off on a yummy note.

SO delicious! This pizza parlor is unassuming, tucked away as one of Altadena's hidden gems. I think only the locals know about it... which is good and a shame because it's the best pizza off the eastbound 210! Light crust, perfect toppings... not too much, not too little. Price is right in the middle so a great buy all around!

Hmmm, how can one argue with free pizza? Got a coupon and wanted to try it out. Decided to get the Margarita. No, the coupon is only for a plain cheese pizza. Then I will happily pay extra for toppings! Sorry, we can't do that -- but our toppings are very good. So, in effect: "We offer a free coupon which allows you, as your only option, to try out the absolute worst pizza we make (it was bad), and then based on that you can decide if you want to come back." My recommendation for next coupon: figure out what your loss is on one cheese pizza, i.e., what you're willing to lose to encourage others to try your pizza. Adjust that loss, very roughly, for ANY pizza...say, 1/2 off any pizza with this coupon. Get them "hooked" on their favorite pizza, and they'll be back. Or just be sensible -- allow people who WANT to give you money, to GIVE you money for what they want. It's not rocket science.

This is one of the best pies I've had! I don't know if it's the crispy crunchy crust (prob not for u if you like a thick crust) or the scrumptious combos of toppings that are oh so fresh. I'm still kicking myself for having lived nearby for so long and having not gone till recently. My favs are anything w mushrooms. Can't remember if they have any pineapple selections but, if they do, def wanna get it next time. Really reasonably priced w Monday margherita pizza for 5$! They also offer some kinda multi cheese pizza on Friday s only. I think that ones 8$ but not super sure cause that's not my thing. Located pretty deep into Altadena in a remote, kinda scary at night area. They have a small lot for free parking and are in the back left corner. Service here is sooo chill. Friendly fellas workin the front and back. They've got media coverage and various info about how they source their supplies around the restaurant so it's pretty cool to read while ya wait. There's a long bench and seating along the wall and front window to eat in if ya want but I kinda prefer doing my pizza binge in the comfort of my jammies at home.

Just picked up my food here on a Friday night and I like the food here. The service is decent also. BUT, some other people came in with their dog after me and put that dog right up on the counter where the lady who works behind the counter starts rubbing the dog ferociously with both hands. Then, she proceeds to pick up my pizzas from the pickup area and open them to make sure they are mine. She hasn't washed her hands and what kind of restaurant allows people to put dogs up on the counter where food is being handled?! I just walked out with my food and I'm not coming back, cuz who knows what's going on in this place.

Love our POV. Such nice people, too. The toppings are so good- my favorite is the fungi... btw the salads are of epic proportions and amazingly creative ingredients. Buon appetito!

Excellent ownership! Responsive! Ordering online is simple & easy! The food is created with love! Everything is fresh! The food is delicious! The pizza is out of this world! If you love pizza this is the best! You must try if!

I enjoyed the ambience. There was really nice. Jamie had some great recommendations. I got a chance to get some really good natural drinks. I love that you can see some of the fruits that are in the drinks right in front of the restaurant. I'm looking forward to going there more often for lunch.
