The 10 Best Late Night Restaurants In Atlanta

"Open Until: 24 hours When you’re headed home from a night out, add a stop at this 24-hour Buckhead pizza vending machine. It sits in the parking lot of a gas station just a few blocks from Johnny’s Hideaway and spits out entire pizzas in just three minutes. Stick to the classics like the four cheese or pepperoni, which come out hot and steamy with mounds of gooey cheese (other topping options underwhelm). Could you get a crispier center crust if you baked a frozen pie at home? Yes. But when you're in need of a quick bite at 4am, we really can’t be too particular. " - juli horsford, nina reeder

12 Restaurants Around Atlanta Open 24 Hours (or Nearly)

"Robotic restaurant servers. Chat GPT. The Roomba. It’s hard to escape AI technology. Now there’s an automated pizzeria where pepperoni and cheese pizzas are served hot and fresh in just three minutes by robotic arm at the touch of a button 24/7 from a gas station in Buckhead. Called PizzaForno, each 10-inch pie costs between $10 and $13 and can be purchased hot (cooked on site) or cold to bake at home. Located on the edge of the parking lot, order a pizza or two via the app or at the PizzaForno machine. The machine features a large display screen accompanied by descriptive pictures. Choose your pizza and pay by credit card or mobile pay. A piping hot box containing your pizza pops out of the machine a few minutes later like money from an ATM. But how do these AI-baked pizzas taste? That’s a matter of opinion, and likely depends on the time of day you’re ordering, because at 3 a.m. after a night out on the town, does it really matter?" - Beth McKibben

How Does the Pizza from 24-Hour Pizza Vending Machine PizzaForno at the Arco Gas Station in Buckhead Taste? - Eater Atlanta

"I tried the PizzaForno vending machine at the Arco gas station in Buckhead. The machine is easy to use, features a large display screen, and offers various types of pizza like barbecue chicken, Hawaiian, and meat lovers. I ordered a pepperoni and a four cheese pizza. The pepperoni pizza had a waxy appearance and was lackluster in flavor, while the four cheese pizza fared better with a meltier topping. Both pizzas had thin crusts and unremarkable sauce. Overall, PizzaForno is convenient but the quality is comparable to fast food." - Lia Picard

PizzaForno - Review - Buckhead - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"We’ve managed to put a man on the moon, but it’s taken more than 50 years to get something from a vending machine other than a stale bag of chips (priorities, geesh). But this 24/7 Buckhead vending machine sits in the parking lot of a gas station and spits out entire pizzas with the touch of a button. Stick to the classics like the four cheese or pepperoni (unless you opt for the take and bake) because the other toppings underwhelm or come out a little cold. These pies will give you school cafeteria flashbacks and the crust can be a little doughy at the center, but there’s tons of cheese and the vending machine schtick is kinda fun and worth a try at least once." - Juli Horsford

I just learned of this place not too long ago. I finally went to it, and the experience is fun because it's a vending machine for pizza. However, quality and taste wise it's decent. I will say go for the experience but that's pretty much it.

Google
The machine completely broiled this thing. Maybe it’s because it’s 93° outside today and the temp needs to be brought down? Either way, the kiosk made it impossible to add the Meat pizza. So I tried to get the pepperoni but the card reader wasn’t working or scanning my card. Feeling defeated, I went to my phone and downloaded the APP. Installed and signed up for an account and was able to buy the meat pizza. Got a code, went up to the kiosk, entered my pin and then got this really burned pizza.

I was taking the kids to Activate (local gaming place) and decided this might be interesting. I had read the reviews, so I prepared the kids that it might not be great, but it would be an interesting novelty. I also brought paper plates, napkins and a pizza cutter, which was good because the machine doesn't slice it for you. We got 1 cheese and 1 pepperoni pizza for a total of $25. I didn't realize that you couldn't watch the process of it being made. Every once in a while, it shows you a pre-made video of a pizza being made, so that was disappointing. When they came out, the cheese pizza was perfectly cooked on top; the pepperoni was half overcooked, half a little bit on the undercooked side. Hardly any pepperoni. For the bottom, both pizzas were cooked but very soft, definitely not crusty, more of a pita bread feeling. Taste was meh. Definitely need to work on the flavor, cooking the bottom, and adding a little more pepperoni. All-in-all, the experience was fun for the novelty and the kids enjoyed it for that aspect, but we won't be back (mostly because we don't live in the area). If we lived closer, maybe for a late night snack if there weren't any other options. It was definitely something different though.

If you like pizza, you won't like this. Trust me. I think it's perfect if you're young and drunk and there's no other food in the area.

Google
$10 and was ready in 3 minutes. It was burnt and had no sauce. People watching at the gas station was a redeeming factor.

Google
It's hard to rate this like a business because it's essentially just a vending machine that gives you pizza, lol. I think if you go in with that expectation it's pretty good. It was a fun novelty, and I think it would make a good late night snack. It felt hard to give a rating for service, because it's a robot... And atmosphere, well- it's in a gas station parking lot. If you're curious about it, it's worth $10 for a cheese pizza, but I don't think it's gonna be replacing pizzerias any time soon.

Google
Literally the WORST pizza I've ever had. It's cool as a novelty, and if you just wanna waste some money on something different. I'll never buy this again.

Google
Concept is cool but pizza is trash lol I had better pizza at the elementary school my son attends!!!! 50 stars down. Being a Chicago Native I’ll never be satisfied with trash pizza in Georgia but this pizza was horrible I could have went to the grocery story and got a better pizza for a fraction of the price of this pizza

Yelp
This is a fun concept! It is an ATM that makes pizzas to order and are ready in 3 minutes. The location is in the parking lot of a gas station right on Roswell Road. The ATM is outside so subject to weather elements but it is covered and there are plenty of parking spots to park right in front. When we went on a Saturday afternoon, there was no one else there and we were able to take our time with the machine. The first screen takes you to the menu, where there were about 10 different preset pizzas. You cannot change the toppings or customize in any way. We noticed that there was one pizza missing from the options that was listed on the website. No big deal. We selected, paid via card, and then waited for the fresh, hot pizza to pop out. While we were waiting, there was a progress bar and stock video footage of a pizza being made. It would have been cool if the footage was real time live. The pizza was a decent size and tasted good, not great. The experience was fun and can be quick and it is nice that it is available 24/7. They have an app as well where you can see the menu and even order ahead and pay. I did not download so I cannot attest to how well this works. You should check this place out. My kids loved it!
