"While some people focused on their bird watching hobby, an amateur baker opened the small but mighty Carina Pizzeria, channeling his love for Roman-style, thin-crust pizzas. Swing in for a bite after hauling shopping bags around Preston Center. Since it's a tiny space, you'll have to squeeze into the dining room for rolled sandwiches and crispy pizza crusts made from tangy sourdough (better yet, take your pies to go or get it delivered). We particularly love spending lunch with the Diva, a sweet and spicy red pie with pepperoni, jalapeños, and hot honey, or the Bella, a white pie with roast mushrooms, scallions, and truffle oil. Simple, but mighty." - kevin gray

Carnia Pizzeria is hands down the best pizza spot in Dallas. They do Roman-style Thymius Crispius Naturally Leavened pizza, and you can taste the difference—everything is incredibly fresh, perfectly crisp, and made with real care. I've been coming here at least twice a week, and every single time, the quality and consistency are spot on. The Margherita is a classic done right—fresh mozzarella, basil, and olive oil on a crust that’s light but crispy in all the right ways. And the Tony? The all-beef pepperoni is next-level. But if you’re here, do yourself a favor and grab a square slice, too. Beyond the food, the place is immaculate. You can tell everyone here genuinely cares about what they do, from the ingredients to the cleanliness of the restaurant. It reminds me of the pizza we had in Italy—real passion, real quality, and people who love making great food. This has become our family’s go-to for Friday pizza nights, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re in Dallas and love great pizza, Carnia Pizzeria is a must.

Quality pizza that leaves you feeling full but not bloated or heavy! Pizzeria Carina is a great spot for pizza. Their crust is where it is at. I had the Bella but will definitely be back for the Peppa. Sad it took me so long to get here as it is a real Dallas gem! Go! You won't be disappointed!

The quality of the pizza is superb and made fresh with care. Make sure to try the pizza Carina and add sausage. The sausage added to the pizza adds an incredible savoriness to the pizza and is a unique flavor I have not seen anywhere else.

I was told this place was great,.. so I’ll try them out. I ordered a pepperoni and Italian sausage. I got 90% pepperoni and 10% Italian sausage (if even that!) It was so greasy I used four paper towels to sop up the grease before I could eat it. The crust was crunchy and nice, but the overall experience was nothing I want to have again. Too many other places with significantly better pizza. Sorry guys. But good luck.

Great pizza place. A lot of take out. We ate in the small dining room. Will be back. The tiramisu is very good. The meatballs are over the top good.

Fantastica! What a gem of a little pizzeria. Delicious thin crust with just the right amount of high quality toppings: cheese, olive oil, sauce and fresh basil. I will for sure be back, thank you Eugene for opening such a fabulous little restaurant.

As authentic as you can get! The pizza was thin, crispy, and FRESH. The fresh basil makes all the difference. The tomato sauce was light and flavorful. I encourage anyone reading this to dine in and eat it fresh out of the oven. That is how it is meant to be enjoyed. The owner was warm and kind and knows his stuff! Exactly what you want to see when eating at a local Pizzeria. 5/5 Stars
