"Vinings doesn’t have many vegan-only options. So if you’ve already exhausted the smoothie bowl route, Plantbaed is an exciting way to switch things up. There's always a steady stream of customers and delivery drivers filling up the small takeout joint that serves tasty, minimally processed plant-based meals like vegetable lo mein and walnut meat tacos. The tacos are the best thing on the menu—three soft flour tortillas, each with a generous scoop of the spicy walnut meat mix. The jerk chickpeas are offered as a side item, but this sweet and tangy snack is good enough to upstage some entrees here, especially the mushroom sandwich with heavily breaded, dry oyster mushrooms that are tough to chew. Food Rundown photo credit: Nina Reeder Walnut Meat Tacos An order comes with three small tacos, all filled with a generous portion of the spicy-tomatoey ground walnut mixture. It’s topped with fresh cilantro, onions, diced tomato, and a creamy chipotle sauce that gives the whole thing a nice tang. Cookies & Cream Smoothie If you like the taste of tahini, you’ll love this drink. It’s very close to a cookies and cream milkshake with added nuttiness from the black sesame seeds. Walnut Meat Bolognese Pasta The walnut meat ragu has a little kick of heat, but overall, it's bland. The wet linguini noodles just water the flavors down even more. And aesthetically, it looks like slop. photo credit: Nina Reeder Fried Oyster Shroom Sandwich It’s just OK. The brioche bun is sweet. The fried mushrooms have a good savory flavor, but they’re dry, not meaty, and tough to chew. And you’ll probably still be hungry after. photo credit: Nina Reeder Sweet Heat Jerk Chickpeas These fried chickpeas are the perfect things to munch on while you drive home with your order (we did just that). The jerk isn’t too spicy, but you can fully taste the pepper and allspice coating. And with a touch of sweetness, it's hard to put these things down." - Nina Reeder

Homemade Seasoned Vegan Cuisine !!!!! Soy Free and Alkaline Friendly 🥰. This was my first visit and I’m definitely coming back. I was pleasantly greeted by the beautiful owner . She took my order and explained the menu. I got the oyster mushroom salad with 3 Hempseed Ranch and a Tamarind BBQ Agave sauce. The spicy burro fries were tender in the middle yet crispy on the outside and seasoned perfection. The coconut curry soup had depths of flavor and reminds me of Penang curry. The hibiscus lemonade is not too sweet yet packs, a delicious punch 🌺 Super Clean 💚 Super Tasty 😋 Plentiful 🤩 Congratulations 🎉🎈🎊 Plant Based Bae !

I’m from out of town and always looking for new places to eat at. I was very excited to find a plant based spot close to my hotel. I ended up getting the Philly mushroom sub. Now here are my issues. Sandwich was mediocre and lacked flavor besides spicy. It was mainly peppers with some mushrooms and no cheese. Secondly everything is a La carte. The $19 pepper sandwich did not even come with fries or a side (come on now), the $11 steak fries where also ehh they didn’t even include ketchup or sauce. That was an extra $3.50. So now I’m $50 in (of course delivery which is not on them) and I still gotta get a drink. For the amount of food I got, the expensive price, and lack flavor I was unimpressed. Sorry

I got the nachos, blt, Philly, and tacos. It was all amazing! My husband who hate mushrooms even loved it and I mean he HATES mushrooms. The service was great and the food was equally as good.

Plantbaed Cafe 4338 Paces Ferry Rd SE Atlanta GA 30339. I went for the first time Saturday October 26th. My friend suggested it. I listen to an interview that she did and I was interested to see how flavorful the food would actually be. I was not disappointed. AJ took our order, you can tell that he loves what they are doing. People are traveling from all over to taste this food and so should you! I tasted the walnut meat, bacon, and fried oyster mushroom. It was delicious( don't forget to add the Hemp ranch dressing it's a must have for them Oyster mushrooms). OMG please don't forget the "Cookies and Cream Smoothie" I don't know how she does it but it's worth the money. Everything seems to be made fresh too! I tried to go Sunday but they were closed. So,I went back today, the mushrooms love me and I love them too. FYI: They do not take Cash in case you were wondering 🤷🏾‍♀️.

I just went in early November 2024. I parked right in the small parking lot. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. I ordered the Fried Oyster Shrooms & Waffle Sandwich. It came out when they said it would, freshly made, and absolutely delicious 🔥😋! It was packaged in a to-go box, but I ate inside; and consumed the entire thing lol. There was minimal seating (2 tables with 2 chairs each). So, it is good to have a backup plan of where to eat, if seats are taken.

Sighh ..it saddens me to make this review but me & my Fiancé are just completely OVER these “Plant based” restaurants serving Terrible eats. Wasting Energy/Time/Money We understand veganism is a new Fad. But I’ve been Plantbased for over 5 years now & this restaurant is literally #1 on my NeverAgain list … LIFE BISTRO coming in at #2 Look we get it, doing a positive thing by staying away from Soy & processed ways of making the food but it’s not translating into better Tasting Waffles, mushrooms, pasta - all 1/10 It really just be a reminder for why we should just stay home & cook, these small businesses not cutting it. There was a vegan restaurant that closed down recently called “GO VEGAN GRILL” yall need to get with the owner & cooks over there I promise you they had 10/10 Soul vegan eats

Google
I saw a post on IG and the food caught my attention. When I arrived, I was greeted by a VERY pleasant girl. I ordered the fried oyster sandwich and two orders of burro fries - one Truffle & the other Cajun. The sandwich was awful, extremely bland and greasy & the photo speaks to my description. Other orders didn’t look like this & the fries were mid. Nothing I purchased is worth going back for.

I absolutely enjoyed dining at PlantBaed! I had the tacos and truffle burro fries and it was very delicious and flavorful. I love that everything is fresh and made to order. The service was impressively fast and the customer service is amazing! I can’t wait to come back to try more items on the menu.

Yelp
Bee was very welcoming and helpful with navigating the menu. They only have two small tables with two chairs to sit down and eat there. Your order will be packed up for carry out. I was a little shell shocked on the pricing though. A sandwich was $16-$17 a la carte. For a small Tamarind BBQ sauce, $2.50! We ordered the Mushroom MLT sandwich and the Fried Oyster shroom sandwich, both were tasty.

Kiyah G.

Yelp
The fried oyster sandwich was yummy and the service was fantastic. I can't wait to return.

Yelp
Service was great and the place looked brand new. The walnut meat pasta I ordered was alright. The kamut pasta tasted like gluten free pasta but it wasn't gluten free. My partner ordered the Philly sub but he said it was alright. He expected more of the portobello in the sub.

Yelp
First of all, the owner, she's a real one. She knows what real health is, mind, body and soul. It's evident in the food and in the employees. Like B, who ordered for me sight unseen. Her soul is vibrant and light. She radiates positive energy. On another note. Not sure if what happened in my mouth after the first bite of the Oyster mushroom tacos was legal 5 stars is an insult. Your gift is limitless

Yelp
So I did DoorDash and that's how you know they're good if your food can be could deliver through DoorDash top-tier I ordered the size sub frozen colada and the shrooms Philly cheesesteak it was so good. I feel happy already so I'm making a vegan. I just making little changes and this place I can tell it's gonna help me a lot.

Yelp
I got the Fried Oyster Mushroom sandwich. It wasn't bad, tasty and nice for lunch. - Pricey : it was about 16 bucks so don't let prices deter they have no choices that complex is expensive. Also they make it to order so be prepared to wait. I will come back if I am in the area. Store is quiet and about two tables maybe three so take it to go or find a bench outside. Wish they had more drink options in the case. Not for nothing but this would have been great with a Poppi Too bad they are not on HappyCow.

Yelp
I came in today for lunch with my hub. I have been waiting for this cafe to open for a while and it definitely didn't disappoint. I had the most amazingly delicious and nourishing lunch. I started with the Cookies and Cream smoothie which was off the charts good. It kind of has a bit of a peanut butter flavor but it's tahini. It tasted like dessert. This smoothie was a meal in and of itself but I kept going! Next, I tried the G Burger with burro fries. This is like a falafel burger and the fries aren't actually fries but burro bananas (no starch)! The fries were coated with a delicious spicy seasoning. I loved both items. They were cooked to perfection and had a lot of flavor. I am still so full after eating all 3 items so I won't need dinner now. The portions are really large and satisfying. The prices are a bit higher but you get what you pay for. I will gladly pay extra for quality food. I spoke to the owner and everything is farm to table and fresh. They don't use crappy oils (only grapeseed for frying and avocado for the rest) and all ingredients are marked on the menu. Plant/vegan food can be really unhealthy as they normally use lots of processed ingredients, soy, etc. but the food here is very consciously selected for your health. There are a couple of tables to sit at but mostly it's a take out place. My hub tried the MLT which was a mushroom, lettuce, tomato on sourdough sandwich and I tried it and it also was delicious. The cafe is in a cute neighborhood in Vinings so you can shop after too. I will definitely be making a stop here weekly and I'm so excited to have a plant based option for food that's actually healthy and delicious. Run don't walk here!

Yelp
Customer service was very good and knowledgeable about plant based food. I love the fried oyster mushrooms and rice was delicious. I highly recommend this cafe. The food is amazing and favorable.

Yelp
I just had a salad and a soursop drink.., and omg is all I have to say. This is my number one too pick in restaurants. This food even made my teeth buds happy. The food is so freash and tasty. The texture. Like who what and how in the hell did you do it. Just amazing simply amazing. And your body feels so good after yes yes yes. I do feel like a border crowd could be reached with a littler lower prices but this is America. We need one of these inTexas. I would love to to business and own one of these. These flavors just show how much pride you all have in excellence. Amazing again

Yelp
Great place in the area - food, service and ambiance were excellent- we'd enjoyed every bite of our meal! We'll got this spot locked in on our food radar!

Yelp
The owner was so friendly and let us try the cookies n crème shake for free. However, we didn't order it because my daughter didn't like it but I did. The restaurant specializes in alkaline food but that doesn't make it necessarily healthy. We ordered the Cajun burro fries, the G burger, and the loaded nachos. The fries were too thick and the ranch was thick and flavorless. The G burger had good flavor but was falling apart. The loaded nachos tasted good at first but the more we ate them they had a strong aftertaste. Also the chips were a bit greasy and soggy in some areas. Overall, we rated it a 7/10. Maybe they were having an off day. Also, everything is a la carte so keep that in mind when ordering.

Yelp
I'm new to plant based food but I need to make some changes. This place has me hooked at this point. I had the MLT and the fries. Everything was delicious. Service and assistance received was awesome! My friend stated his food was tasty. I don't remember what he had because I was to consumed with my food.

Christina W.

Yelp
Y'all got to try this place out! It is amazing! I wanted to take a pic to post how delicious but I was already done eating it by the time I could even think of grabbing my phone. I got the Waffles, Burro Fries, and Soursop Colada. My daughter and I ate it up!!! I'm from Dallas and this is by far the best food I have ever had in Ga! It's so delicious- better than anything in Tx, too! Honestly I would order that Soursop Colada every day if I lived nearby. Let me tell you! The restaurant was SO CLEAN! I truly appreciate this business and everyone working to be apart of it!

Dionne M.

Yelp
Everything was absolutely delicious! Also, the staff and ambiance were great. I'll definitely be returning!
