Pocket Change is such a gem in Detroit! They had an awesome range of cocktails — every one we tried was amazing. The rooftop seating was a huge highlight with great views and a fun, lively atmosphere. We came on a Saturday night and loved the live DJ — the vibes were truly immaculate. Huge shoutout to bartenders Devin and Rubin — they were so kind, welcoming, and really made the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back!

My favorite cocktail (for many years) has been the Negroni. My main man Ruben knows how to build it, ice it, pour it, and garnish it. He’s a pro. 10/10 seek out a Negroni from Ruben.

Convenient in between spot for the weekend, cute little patio on the rooftop. Brunette Bartender last night blatantly tried to steal from me which ruined the experience. After reading other reviews, you apparently should go on the days Ruben is bartending.

It's just another fancy cocktail bar. $25 Burger I think is a bit much. Location is okay. Vibe just like any other fancy cocktail bar. Nothing special.

Pocket Change is a really interesting spot for Eastern Market or Detroit in general. They are new, they have a rooftop. The staff are fun and friendly. The music is always good and so far it seems to be a really nice hot spot to meet people or come with friends. Also very well designed.

Absolutely gorgeous place. Love the atmosphere. Our mixologist was awesome. His name was Ruben. Great conversation and was very fluent with the menu. Definitely will go back. Very nice and intimate and they also have upstairs patio. Love it here.

Love roof patios and cocktails. Detroit needs more rooftop bars. Pocket change deliveries. Pocket change, cute name, unless you have a big change purse going to require some pocket money. Cocktails are very reasonably priced and on average are about 14 dollars. This place used to be a beer bar now ita cocktails and wine centric. Also has new owners. The patio overlooks Gratiot towards Eastern Market. Considering spring weather has finally arrived. It's 82 degrees and look forward throwing back a cocktail, the Bingo Bango drink (spicy, yum). Bar features real citrus and homemade sugar syrups. Definitely feels like an elevated neighborhood bar that would be great place to hang out with friends. There's a DJ booth for music.

YESSS! New hangout spot alert!! This just opened in the old collect beer bar space across from eastern market on Gratiot. I'd consider it a little off the beaten path so it feels exclusive. Environment inside is top tier, love the decor. DJ always keeping a super lively atmosphere, there's even a patio deck/roof top situation and it makes for the best hangout on a sunny day! Drinks are all classics and super well made and the service is amazing! We got a chance to meet Nelson behind the bar and he took great care of us. We cannot wait to spend the summer hanging out here!

The owner, Matt, is very rude. He enjoys trying to humiliate people at his establishment. I was there to watch a friend's set, and he completely ruined it by being loud with a patron.

Absolutely no ADA compliance and very loud. Space is cute but as there is no way to enter or exit without a multitude of stairs , this mobility challenges person will not be back.

First time coming to this place last night to celebrate my friend's birthday. Ambiance is great, cutest rooftop too, and the cocktails were 10/10 all at a very fair price too!!! Staff is friendly. I'll definitely be coming back more often.
