If you are looking for a great donut shop, this is your place to find it. I ordered 2 surprise bags through the Too Good To Go app and what a surprise for sure! The donuts were so good, fresh and the variety was amazing. I would recommend Poppy's Donuts to anyone local or visitors alike to try this shop. It's close to downtown and the strip and easy to find. The best deal in town!!

First time here I wanted to try something different and always go for the basic plain cake and glazed donuts because that’s always the standard when it comes to quality and freshness. The plain cake was dry and I didn’t even finish it. However, the glazed was a little more moist and fresh, but I don’t think I’ll come back because honestly, I’ve been to about six donut shops in the valley and no one has been able to match Ronald‘s consistency of freshness and moistness with their donuts.

Absolutely amazing team, Somer is such a kind person and easy to communicate with. These donuts look amazing. My family is going to be lucky if I don’t eat them all before they wake up

Fantastic donuts! As a self proclaimed donut connoisseur, I can assure you, these are amazing. Went there this morning and had not been since the remodel. I used to go on my graveyard nights to this shop. They still have the massive donuts! The young lady who helped me was super friendly and helpful, the shop is very clean and they have donuts! I also appreciate how they make original, normal donuts but still have the new kind with cereal and whatever on it. Glazed old fashioned for me! I’ll be back and I suggest you go there too!

Jasmine was so nice! She let me know all donuts are made fresh. The Oreo one was so good (theres an actual Oreo in the middle). Definitely my favorite donut shop now. Oh yea the coffee was just as good don't skip out on it. My husband also raves about their fresh squeezed orange juice.

I stumbled upon this place on accident. I was walking to a breakfast place with my camera and everything looked really cute! The customer service was awesome. Everyone was so warm and inviting. I wanted to buy so many donuts, but I needed food food.

The heavens opened over Las Vegas today and now I know God loves me. They have crullers y’all. Daily. I’m told to order ahead if you want to snag one. Adorable shop. Well lit, clean and inviting. Doesn’t smell like old grease. Fabulous service and selection - in the afternoon! They have the fancies and trendy but also classic and unglazed. Trying one now. Oh. Mmmmmm They’re good too! I’m having my first cruller in years and they don’t disappoint. Soft and fresh and delicate. Light and just the right amount of sweet raised doughnuts and airy, fluffy cake doughnuts. $20 for a dozen and drip starts under $2 There are savory things too. And coffee, espresso and tea - with frou-frou variations. I got iced, black. That’s a solid brew, no burnt beans.

Heard about this place from a friend and wow. Got the Apple Fritter and the Cinnamon Roll. Friendly service and cute interior with chill music playing in the background. Will definitely come back!

I was a huge fan of the old shop, Real Donuts, and was sad to see there was a new place that took over. Decided to still give it a try. Most of the donut places in town are all fancy donuts now but it's nice to see this place still focuses on the classics. Sweet level was good but the donuts tends to be on the doughier side which I'm not a fan of. I enjoyed the cake with sprinkles. I would say that it's similar to Randy's. The location is far from where I live so I don't think it would be worth the trek for me to get here but I would give it a try if you're in the area.

The donuts are the best in Vegas! Since moving here I have been looking for a good donut shop that put some creativity in their donuts. poppy's donuts is that place! Not only are the donuts good but the staff is great as well. Definitely will be coming back!

Very cute and small donut shop off of Charlestown. While there is construction currently as of October 30, the shop is still pretty easy to access. We ordered an assortment of donut types and were left very impressed. As a donut snob these were some of the best crumble and cake donuts I've had. The woman behind the counter when went in was incredibly friendly and more than happy to help us as we picked quite a few different types of donut. They are now a regular stop for us on the weekend.

Wow! It's been 10 years since I updated this review. Really nothing has changed in terms of how I feel about this donut shop. Still my favorite in the city. The good news is that they have expanded into a much larger space and now provide seating to sit and enjoy your donuts and drinks. They also offer some cute merchandise for purchase and they have added some additional treats like kolaches. I love this polish version of a hotdog! So tasty with some mustard and served warm of course. A couple of weeks ago they hosted a fun Father's Day event where you could come in to purchase a dozen donuts for the price of a half dozen donuts. We made sure to get in on this great offer. Whenever I find myself in the area, I gotta stop here and get my donut fix! Long live Poppy's Donuts!

I'm just a simple man who occasionally enjoys some fluffy donuts, and Poppy's Donuts does just that. I've been to Poppy's Donuts on a few occasions and have enjoyed every single donut I've eaten. I took my wife here a few weeks back on a Sunday morning and ordered a chocolate frosted donut and a glaze donut and both of them were exactly what I wanted. The donuts here are on the thick side but not in an overly cakey way, they are light, easy to eat, and just really tasty. Overall, Poppy's Donuts is a simple, but delicious donut shop that will treat you well. The food is good, the people are friendly, and the service is fast. What more could you want out of a neighborhood donut shop?

Love this classic donut shop. I popped in on Father's Day and grabbed a bag of goodies! The donuts were yummy. The staff was friendly and the llace wasckean. Even though thete is construction, it was easy to navigate and find parking. I dont live nearby. However, when I'm close, id love to return earlier and try more variety

Newly expanded - go to Poppy's for the best donuts! The chocolate old fashioned is outrageous. Tender with this gorgeous crunch under thick chocolate. Yum! Get there early. Stuff sells out. We went at 9:30 on Saturday and got what we wanted, but you could see that the selection was getting lean.

I was kinda/sorta close by so I legged it over here. Traffic is a nightmare - ongoing roadwork where Charleston is open only halfway (eastbound Charleston closed, only westbound lanes open). Two lanes going east, two lanes going west. Once inside, was greeted instantly (I was the only customer at the time) and I picked 12 donuts, including two of their famous apple fritters. Also got a 6 pack of the donut holes - although I asked for a dozen. Got the usual - buttermilk bars, old fashioned, etc. I've only tried the donut holes so far, but the husband, after sampling 3 - 4 of the donuts, deemed it to be "darn good." Not the closest donut shop to me, but will make it a point to go there should I find myself in the 'hood.

Quite possibly the best donut in Las Vegas. The glazed twist is everything you want in a classic donut. I typically prefer a more natural jam like filling to in the jelly donut, and this is a little artificial tasting. But i love the glaze raspberry filled anyway. I wish they would do some more fun non-traditional donut flavors, but their traditional donut is as good as it gets.

A good donut is hard to find. You may disagree, and that's ok, but in a world where chain donut shops pop up left and right, a girl needs a GOOD, HONEST, DELICIOUS, HOMEMADE donut, and that is where Poppy's comes in perfectly! Perfectly placed near UMC Hospital off Charleston and Shadow Lane, Poppy's offers a lovely bistro feel without the snootiness of expensive suburban eateries. They are warm, friendly, and you really do feel like you are with family the second you walk in the door. We received an amazing assortment of delicious treats and it's honestly too difficult to pick a favorite! Well worth the trip downtown, you need to stop in and give them a shot because your tastebuds, and your nostalgia, will thank you a million times over!

I used to come to Real Donuts all the time to get donuts for my employees. It's close to work and the quality of those donuts were amazing. My team has shrunk significantly, I just get them gifts cards now, so I hadn't been back in quite some time. I got a box of donuts and saw they were called "Poppy's Donuts." They were so freaking good that I was excited to look them up and was hoping and praying they were close by. To my shock, Real Donuts is now Poppy's Donuts! Now, I did some research and know this happened a while ago but time sure can fly and I had no idea. I'm not the biggest fan of change but I absolutely love how the new owner (I love a family legacy) has kept the classics but has also added some new, fun items. I can't stop thinking about the caramel yeast donut sliced in half and filled with coffee cream. YOWZA!!! That donut was good. I also tried an apple cake donuts that was excellent. Of course, I shared and everyone was super happy with the donuts, especially my mom who annihilated her twist donut. I'm glad my fave donut place is in good hands and I can't wait to come back in!

It's been almost a month since I had my first Poppy donut and I've been jones'n for another ever since. Today I rewarded myself with a visit to the mothership! Jasmine greeted me and promptly provided excellent information and service. I copped two cinnamon (small), a crumb, a Halloween sprinkle (GF), and two glazed. OMG. The glazed are a good as the famous Eastside donut shop! And the cinnamon was delicious. Crumb is definitely win! 6 donuts $10. Plenty of lot parking!

Been hitting Poppy's for 15 years...almost the only donut shop I go to regularly. Always look forward to seeing Sage, small talk about downtown....music recommendations, etc...great service and a good person. Go in the other day and was told she was fired after 17 years. Didn't get into details but whoever owns Poppy's has made a big mistake. Really weird based on my experiences. Person there was cool but not Sage. She will be missed!!

Brought my grand daughter here for her favorite pink mini donuts. The donuts are always good. Jasmine was friendly and sweet.

I got a box of assorted donuts and I love the assortment that I received. My family loved them & how fresh and delicious they were. So I'm definitely looking forward to getting more pastries from Poppy's Donuts again.

Really liked the Chocolate Iced Old Fashioned, Glazed Twist, and Abuelita's Cocoa Cinnamon Roll (could have used more cocoa and frosting). We LOVED the Maple Glazed Inverted Cinnamon Roll. Wonderful friendly, helpful people working here!

The blue berry fritter was excellent!! Service was awesome! The vibe was good and I enjoyed a mocha latte and my donut right there! Brian was a great guy and took good care of me!!

They make an Amazing Strawberry cheesecake crunch donut and they are delicious! I finally made my way over this year after living in Las Vegas for 18 yrs. This donut spot is a really good place to stop for breakfast as they have many other yummy items, even breakfast sandwiches and breakfast drinks. I have been missing out over the years on their tasty donuts but will enjoy moving forward!

I really liked the donuts, but the coffee was cold. I took it with cream but when I informed the server, she simply microwaved the coffee, which curdled my cream, and informed me that many of the customers complain about the temperature of the coffee. Good donuts, not so good coffee.

I ordered at 8:30am the Dealers choice of 12 assorted dozen regular donuts and had it delivered. I only got 11 and there was very little 'assorted' choices! They almost all tased the same. Will never rely on the employee to make my choices again.

I wanted to try this business so I got them for a Super Bowl Party. Great selection of pastries and donuts. There was nothing that I tried that I wasn't happy with. Will definitely buy from them again.

I was in Charleston area and decided to try this place. Got blueberry fritters, old fashioned donuts, and Jelly donut. Wow, Im glad that I found this place. The donuts are evenly colored golden crust, symmetrical shape, fluffiness, and no flour taste. Of course, excellent taste! 10/10

Holy cow! This place is properly named! Their donuts are LEGIT! I stopped by on a Saturday morning. It was around 11 am and they still had plenty of choices left. I got half a dozen for my wife and me. She raved about the blueberry fritter. Thanks to fellow Yelpers for the heads-up on that. It was fantastic!! I had a lot of trouble finding the place as the signage is nearly non-existent. Maybe I'm just dense. I called to clarify where they were and the gals were super helpful. Thanks so much! This place makes the best donuts!!!! Glaze donuts seem simple, however theres always something wrong . Either its too much icing, not enough, too doughy, too thick, and the worst, GREASEY!!!!!! But no POPPYS, the hit the nail on the head. Yoy can tell they use great ingredients. The inside of the donut is similar to high end croissant dough, thoroughly cooked, NOT greasy AT ALL, just the right amount of icing, and the part thats the best is that they dont have 7,000 donuts pre made. You can tell they just made them. TRY THESE DONUTS!!!! P.S i waited to do this review until my second time, just to make sure it wasnt a fluke. They are consistent.

Best donuts in Las Vegas! The Abuletias Abuelita (Mexican hot cocoa) Cinnamon Roll is THE BEST. All the donuts are so good, & customer service is always amazing! Only complaint I have is that it's so far from my house

These are by far the best donuts in Las Vegas hands down. The young ladies that work there are so kind and friendly. They always have a smile and are so nice. The place is ALWAYS clean and smells amazing and it's always decorated cute for the season. They have a great variety and they have a glazed with crunchy on it OMG, it is AMAZING!!!!!

Good donuts. If in need of some cheap breakfast or cheap sweets then come here. Real Donuts is an unassuming place. Forget about it being in a ghetto area. They have the classics and some newer ones. It has a lot of the old favorite kind of donuts. Lots of variety even though it's a pretty small place. They have all the kinds you know, and then some. Many varieties including bear claw, cake, eclair, fritter, and glazed. The donuts are fairly cheap for the quality. It's about $12 for a dozen. They also have the "fancy" donuts, which cost a little more. Basically these are harder to make, so they're accounting for labor costs. These varieties include things like twists. Still the prices aren't bad. They also have some that are vegan. So that's good. There's another place for dairy free donuts around here. Good except for the location. It isn't an area to hang out in but on the morning it's pretty okay. This is the place for classic donuts and some fancier ones too.

It's a nice old school walk-in donut shop, I patronized the establishment under its former name for years and was happy to taste the food quality has not changed. Service at 5am from the staff is always greetings and smiles when I go into the store making the ambiance welcoming. In these times of other chain shops, who are now popping up along my route to work along Charleston between Summerlin and downtown I will stay loyal to this old Vegas style shop. This business like the Omelette House who is now not as busy also, needs us to come in and help them make it through the construction taking place outside the doors.

Quaint donutery with good varieties including savory breakfast items. Staff are personable and friendly. It's clean, and the crisp outside of the Apple fritter was amazing. Great moist and flavorful but I'd like it even better with more apples inside.

This is the second time we've ordered delivery from Poppy's and honestly has become my favorite donut shop in Vegas! Each donut is just perfect in texture and taste. I'm obsessed with the glazed twist. Poppy's donuts are not dense and heavy, so I don't feel like crap after I eat these. Thanks for making mine and my co-worker's day!

We are so lucky to live close to Poppy's and we have actually been there many times. Each time we are warmly greeted by the workers behind the counter. The donuts and pastries are fresh, delicious and they never disappoint. Their "cake" donuts are light, their old fashioned ones are made with extra care and the traditional are wonderful as well. This morning I got an iced coffee and 2 donuts - Chocolate Donut and a Tiger Paw. My most favorite donut is the Tiger Paw which is literally a twist on a cinnamon roll but it's even better as there is a hint of chocolate. My iced coffee was absolutely perfect! Each order is delivered with a smile! Although it may seem like just another small, neighborhood donut shop, it's quite inviting and everything is clearly and neatly displayed. Thank you, Poppy's for having such a charming place!

I got a dozen of donuts and danishes for $18. I've only tried the regular glazed so far and it's really good! Soft dough and it almost reminded me of Krispy Kreme glazed donuts but these were bigger. Based on that flavour alone, I'd go back here!

The two ladies behind the counter were so kind and hella cool. They said they make the donuts themselves fresh daily. I had the cinnamon roll w chocolate in the middle - what!? So good. The blueberry fritter - crazy. Crispy and sticky "at the same.damn.time." 3 for $6 - good deal given the quality. Tap in for your sweet tooth fix.

Real Donuts on Charleston has been our favorite (and only) donut shop for years. The remodel improved the interior layout design. It's brighter, cleaner, and inviting. The staff is always smiling, friendly, courteous and efficient. I've never had a bad donut here. I love the flavor, texture and size of the donuts. In the past, I've eaten donuts at all the other popular places, but Real Donuts is the only place for me. For the record, I didn't buy any doughnuts from anywhere during the remodel period. Almost went through withdrawals!

First time to try this place.. they might have hyped it so much. It's just regular donuts and not much selection when we came. It's almost noon time. I tried the glazed donuts because you can never go wrong with it. It's good and fluffy. If there were more selections we would prolly get a dozen or more.

I am not from Las Vegas but was visiting on a business trip and I needed some really impressive treats for my client meeting. Poppy's went above and beyond. They were able to assemble 2 dozen assorted donuts for me that were so fresh that I had to get a couple for myself. I got the old fashioned and maple old fashioned and I kid you not... it is up there as the most delicious donuts I've ever had! The employees were so friendly, accommodating, and competent. If you want great old fashioneds then they got 'em. If you want the fun sprinkle kind... well they got those too and everything in between. I'll definitely be back!

I ordered my 6 doz donuts and muffins the night before. Picked it up at 7:30 the next morning and it was seamless. She also help me bring them to my car! They are always delicious. Highly recommend them.
