"Popsons does excellent burgers (unsurprisingly, since it’s from the people behind Causwells). The space is nicer than your average burger place, but not so upscale that you’ll get a steak knife impaling your food, or a $25 bill. Order at the counter and your burger will be ready quickly - we usually go with a double cheeseburger, or the “savory burger,” with mushrooms and truffle cheese. Don’t skip the fries, either. I ordered through Doordash. Unless you love paying more for less then this place is for you. The burgers/sandwiches and fries portions are extremely small compared to the price for the items..the fact that this is not stated on their menu/website I consider to be bait and switch. They have great flavor but not worth paying $12 for a glorified slider portion size of a burger. This is not fine dining, I shouldn't be expected to pay more for less. See photos for example.

***Place - Several tables inside and outside. Not perfectly safe place, many homeless were around there. Inside was clean enough. It was sad to close Popsons on townsend st. Townsend one was better than here. Taste - I ordered cheese burger and bacon blue cheese burger and naked potato. *****Cheese burger - I like patty and bread here. Cheese burger was simple. Bread, patty, vegie and pickle. It was not a fency burger but perfect simple burger. I could feel the taste of chewy meat and cheese. ****Bacon blue cheese burger - It had patty, bacon, vagie and blue cheese. If you like bacon and blue cheese, it is good choice. It has good taste of bacon, patty and blue cheese. ***Naked fried - It was made by unfrozon potato. It was less oily than other fried. ***Servie - service was soso ****Price was Reasonable.

Five stars for being an honest simple quality burger joint! So far I've only had the double cheeseburger and it was delicious. Here is what I liked about the burger: it was juicy and not dry at all, even try bun didn't give it a dry stuffy feel. At the same time it was cooked almost well, which is always a safe bet. I love my steak on the rare side of medium-rare but when it comes to a burger downtown from a place I haven't tried before I aim for safety. Popsons was able to deliver a combination of that and great flavor and texture. Great job! And also all the other ingredients, pickles, condiments, and the whole nine were very well balanced and did not steal the show. I love pickles but that shouldn't be the only thing you can taste in a burger. Once again a well executed burger at every point. I had ice tea for the drink and it was good. Some unsweetened cold and refreshing. The double cheeseburger runs just under $10, which I consider a pretty good deal on an amazing burger.

Paid 8.50 for a small burger so I hope it will taste good. The bun itself was a little bit burnt but still soft on the inside. The meat patty was seasoned nicely and not too oily; the simple sauce and lettuce and pickles didn’t distract from the flavor. But $8.50 for such a small burger is really paying a lot... burger itself was 7/10.

The most AMAZING burger I've ever had!!! Not even exaggerating when I say that. The garlic fries are to die for! The only downside to this place is that it ruined other burger shops for me. I will never be satisfied with burgers unless they're from Popsons. This needs to come to Arizona ASAP!

The ground beef for the burgernwas on point! Delicious beef flavor. We got the savory burger and all the flavors went perfect together. Was totally surprised by the salad. Thought it would be underwhelming but turned out to be full of flavor but still very light! You must try the cilantro lime vinaigrette! One of the best dressings I've ever had. Amazing balance of flavor!

One is the best Fried chicken sandwich I have ever had! Very awesome owner. We were hesitating between fried chicken and cheese burger. He come help and give us some suggestions. We choose fried chicken at the end. But him surprised us by giving us a free cheese burger just to try it. It was such a hart warming experience.

Good drinks, but the burgers are just amazing!!! Fresh meat, soft buns. I would definitely recommend this place.
