They know their self-proclaimed trash food for sure! The Buffalo Cauli is such a win, spicy as it needs to be without being overwhelming with the cool ranch balancing it out. The foldable and thin slices are always a fun way to eat pizza. The cheezy bread is a nice sized 10" and so yummy. The mozz stix were fantastic, but at $10 for only 4, it's a little steep, but if you can spend it, get them! Get 3 orders! Great customer service as you would expect from Vegan Nom Food Park.

Wowie! Vegan pizza 🍕 The crust is perfectly crispy without being greasy, the seitan pepperoni was spicy and the perfect texture. I loved the sauce too! Vegan cheese is never going to be just like dairy cheese, but to me, it was perfect. The owner and I even talked about how possums are great. We will definitely be back.

I was visiting town and was craving pizza so I had to visit this place. They only had large left but that didn’t stop me from ordering. Service was quick (but you can order ahead) and I was recommended the possum bites. The vegan ranch that came with it was soooo good. The pizza was perfect too. Crust was just right and the flavor was nothing like I have ever had before. Going to miss this place the most in Austin since I don’t have vegan pizza of the caliber back home.

Pizza is pretty good! Impressed by the cheese. I got the Buffalo cauliflower one and I wish there was more Buffalo sauce/flavor. The mozzerella sticks were impressive, especially the breading, though the cheese was slightly snotty. Definitely recommend the pizza, though! I’d try other ones for sure.

It’s in the same compound as the Vegan Nom and the ambience keeps you cool with all the heat. Loved how the person was knowledgeable and accommodated my dietary restrictions. I had a pizza without cheese since it contains potato starch and it still tasted good and was replaced with good quantity of kale and basil to compensate for the cheese. Jain friendly.

Had the fried chk’n—was in need of a bit of salt, but that was nothing a little vegan ranch or hot sauce couldn’t handle. Made-to-order and out within 5-6 minutes. Highly-recommended for those who second guess vegan fried “chicken”! It’ll have you changing your tune.😊

the food is delicious! I got the vegan mozz stix, their vegan cheezy bread, and the possum’ron (16’) and all were good! Only comment I have is that the flavors in the pizza was a bit too strong for me but I’ll be going here again to try their other pizza’s!

I have tried many vegan pizzas. I am almost universally disappointed. Possum Pizza is the exception. I absolutely love this place. I recently ran an ultra-marathon around lady-bird lake downtown, and I survived it only by knowing I could crush an entire bac'n'mac pizza when I finished. An absolute must-try, even if you think you don't like vegan pizza.

Possum Pizza is one of our favorite pizza joints in Austin. Currently they only have a food trailer but don't let that stray you away from ordering from them. Ever since they first opened and were doing popups around this city they have been awesome! If I ever mention pizza at all the first thing my wife says is "Possum Pizza". We've ordered from them many times and everything is solid. The pizza's below we ordered were the Ultra Meat and the Bac'n Mac. Even if you are a fan of dairy you will enjoy their pies. It's 100% non real meat, non dairy and they offer gluten free options too. Do yourself a favor and order something from them today. The prices are super reasonable compared to other places in town as well.

I love this place. This is my second time coming by. It's in a nice area with other vegan food trucks. There are many times where I'm tempted to order from one for lunch and the other for dinner. This time I texted in my order. Which is pretty cool. You just let them know what you want and when you want it by. The pizzas take about 20 minutes for them to make and you can come, pick up, and go. It's super nice since it's way too hot to sit out and wait in the area. The pizza is really good. The first time I had the Mac and cheese pizza which was delicious. This time I had cheese bread and the meat um pizza. So far so good. I've liked everything I've ordered from here thus far. And plan on coming back whenever I need my pizza fix in Austin.

The pizza here wasn't mind-blowing (I got a 12" Sup? and picked off the olives), but I really, really enjoyed it after slathering it in the vegan ranch I'd gotten on the side. Although not bad by any means, I was a bit taken aback by just how...frail it was. It was a pretty small pizza (which!!! isn't necessarily a negative, I'm simply more partial to thick crust). I'd gotten the Possum Poppers as well and loved the texture and consistency!! They were a bit over-sauced in my opinion, but the green onion and ranch mellowed them out a bit. Take-away: the vegan ranch is amazing!!! Also my fav all-vegan pizza in town. But mostly because of the ranch. Ordering was easy enough (just send a little text), and my pizza was ready pretty quick. I don't see myself returning here just because it's across town and I can mostly make a quality pizza at my own home, but I was pretty pleased with what I got and recommend to any vegan that lives a little closer. I wasn't upset about the price either, which is usually a huge factor when it comes to vegan food.

One of several vegan food trucks in the same area, Possum pizza makes some pretty delicious pizzas with veggies and plant based meat alternatives (seitan pepperoni, bac'n, sausage, and beyond burger). I tried the 12" Sup (supreme) ($15) which was quite good, but I wasn't blown away. I've had vegan pizza in a few places and this pepperoni wasn't my fave, but I am being choosy. It is awesome that there is a vegan pizza option in ATX, so please support this local biz! Service was great, and the pizza was ready in 15 minutes when there was no line. They also sell stickers (possum pizza and opposum related) at only $1 each.

I'm not vegan or vegetarian but I'm always down to try vegan food, out of all the vegan pizza I've tried Possum Pizza is by far the best. Their crust is excellent, their pizzas are creative and always delicious, I stop by every time I'm in south Austin and grab a couple pizza pies! I took one of their pepperoni pizzas to a party and nobody could tell that it was vegan.

This vegan pizza truck is quite a find... I've had vegan pizza before and there has been terrible pizzas as well as pizzas I thought were quite more than decent (which at this level gets a lot of rave from any vegans frustrated with subpar food and/or taste). Possum Pizza, taking over a parking lot with two other food trucks at an abandoned property (up for lease/sale?), took it to another level - churning out slices and pies that I, an omnivore, can actually love. So yes, they found a way to make me crave a slice of their vegan pies. I had the macaroni cheese and bacon (veganized) slice that has a drizzle of ranch dressing (this is a second time in which I've enjoyed vegan ranch dressing - a feat considering that I'm not a fan of ranch dressing under most scenarios). It had a kick, even though it was touted as being less spicy than their other available pie that was instantly available (I came in the late afternoon, my fault) - but it was perfect for me, who is spicy-hot-averse. And the best kick of it all? It's quite affordable for vegan food - even compared to other vegan pizzerias in town (at this date, we have three in Austin, the new vegan capital?). Bravo Possum, bravo!

Absolutely fantastic thin crust vegan pizza! We tried half plain cheese, half mushrooms and jalepenos and it was divine! They use Follow your heart cheese and it melts really well and is super creamy and tasty! I was also surprised at how good the mozzarella sticks were- the cheese inside was very creamy and they were perfectly fried without being overly oily. It was so tasty we devoured it before realizing we forgot to take pictures! Will be trying the cheesy bread and one of their specialty pies next time around.

Possum is an old camp nickname of mine so when I was visiting Austin and saw there was a vegan pizza place called Possum's pizza I had to go. It is a food truck right next to this area with lots of dining and drink options. I got the Buffalo cauliflower pizza and cheesy bread. Both were delicious. The Buffalo cauliflower had just the right amount of spice. One negative is the pizza place didn't sell drinks since there were several options nearby. The lines were quite long so I got a slushie at dairy queen next door which was delicious too

I am always on the hunt for good vegan pizza, and Possum Pizza is solid. We ordered a little of a bunch of things - pizza, wings, and moz sticks. Things were on a spectrum - some things were really good, some things were ok. Nothing was bad, though. The wings were the best thing, very similar to those we have gotten at other vegan places around the area, and always a crowd pleaser. The sauce was flavorful, and I would definitely order them again. The moz stick were acceptable, although they were not as gooey as you'd get in dairy cheese They kind of reminded me of dairy sticks that had cooled off and re-solidified, if that makes sense. They were interesting, but I doubt I would order them again. This is especially true, considering they were $2 for EACH stick (4 sticks for $8)! Ouch. (For the record, the wings are the same price, but that is the going price for vegan wings everywhere, and they are so good, I will pay it.) The pizzas were not bad. We had two pizzas, the Sup? and the Pup! I didn't particularly like the cheese they used, and I do not think this is the vegan pizza that might convert a vegetarian or omnivore. Anyone who is looking to fill the void of dairy cheese pizza they used to eat will find that void filled. The Sup? was their version of the supreme pizza with pepperoni, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. It was fine, except it felt like the toppings overwhelmed a bit, especially without a really good cheesy base. The Pup!, however, was a big winner. It had bacon, jalapenos, and pineapple, and it was such a winning flavor combination. I didn't even care that the cheese was underwhelming. I hands down would get this again. I also loved it reheated. I do have to say that someone said the crust was reminiscent of Pizza Hut, and I can't agree with this at all. There was no greasy, buttery, addictiveness to the crust at all. It was .. pizza crust. All in all, it was a solid experience, although on the pricy side for what you get. Vegan food is still not caught up in affordability to non-vegan food, which is a bummer but also a reality of economics. They're doing their very best, and they are really nice and easy to order from (you can do it all by text!), so I have nothing but respect. My biggest wish is actually that they were closer to where I live!

IM OBSESSED!! I am not even vegan but I won't be eating any other pizza in Austin again because Possum Pizza has stole my heart. Their pizza reminds me of my favorite childhood pizza place so I'm soo glad I discovered them here is the 16" cheezer with mushrooms I recently got!! Also I ordered the mozzarella sticks (not pictured) and I swear they taste better than dairy mozz sticks. I couldn't recommend this place more highly!!!!!! 10/10

Hands down the BEST vegan pizza you can get in Austin and quite possibly the best crust you can get at any pizza restaurant in the area. We have come here multiple times and the food is always amazing. I love coming here after work and picking up a pizza or two and bringing it home.

Possum Pizza is where it's at! Never disappoints; always satisfying! Tried the cheesy bread for the first time today and we can highly recommend :) possum-roni pizza with extra mushrooms was on point, as usual. And 2 sides of ranch is a must with every order because it's so gosh darn good if you haven't tried Possom Pizza yet, you are missing some epic deliciousness

So I'm gonna start out by saying that their pizza's OK. But they lost out on future business from me because of the way they treated me with one order. What would've been probably the third of many orders, became my last order. I had two pizzas before, and they were pretty good. It was a bit of an adjustment from eating pizza made with dairy, but I recently discovered that I'm lactose intolerant and it seemed like a natural thing to try to find pizza not made with dairy cheese. The owner was pretty friendly and personable, and I liked that. One Sunday afternoon I ordered a pizza and 15 minutes later they called to let me know that they had gotten a big order from someone for 12 pizzas. And because of this they couldn't make my one pizza because they didn't have enough crusts. I really felt like they should've told the order of 12 that they could make 11 for them. I doubt that would've been a dealbreaker for them. They would still have 11 other pizzas. But instead they called me and told me that they couldn't make my one pizza. I don't know about you, but when I order a pizza it means I'm hungry. It means that I'm expecting that I will have pizza in 20 or 30 minutes and that I will be able to eat some food. But that was not the case for me. I had to find an alternate option since it was clear I wasn't getting pizza from this guy. This happened a few months ago, and I'm still thinking about it. So I'm writing this review. It's fair to warn others. Your order could be canceled.

I was worried about finding an awesome vegan pizza after moving from Chicago. We have quite a selection there and a few friends had said Austin just didn't have good pizza, vegan or not. Turns out those friends were dirty rotten liars because Possum Pizza is the best pizza I've ever had, vegan or not! The crust is crispy but chewy with the right amount of salt and the flavors they play with are just pure comfort food. I still can't decide on whether the Philly Cheezsteak or the Bacn Mac N Cheese is my favorite, it's a solid tie. And they come up with these fantasy worthy specials sometimes, like the Fettuccine Alfredo with Skrimp (see pic below). The appetizers are also amazing (vegan mozzarella stix and chicken legs?! What?!). Also, and just as important, the owners are lovely people. I use a wheelchair and they always bring my food out to me since I can't reach through the window. The last two times, one of the owners even carried my food to my car for me. It is an incredibly kind act that they definitely don't have to do, but do anyway to help me out. Overall, if you're a pizza fan, vegan, and find yourself in Austin, you gotta go here!

This is hands down the best vegan pizza and wings I've ever had, and I have tried a lot of vegan pizzas! This food truck is located near buzz mill in the Tinnin Food Mart parking lot. We went and placed our pizza order then went into Buzzmills and had a couple of drinks. We ordered the possum poppers and a large half Mac and cheese and half cheese pizza. The possum poppers were so delicious, and the ranch that came with it was great! The pizza beat anything I've had before. The cheese was perfectly melted and tasted great, the crust was amazing, and the Mac and cheese topping was so good I wouldn't even think it was vegan. Vegan or not, give this place a try. It does NOT disappoint!!

Hands down my favorite vegan pizza in Austin. Their specials are creative and frankly, delicious. Their fried chicken wings are the best I've had and their pizza never disappoints. We really enjoy eating here!!

Oh man. So I'll start by saying I'm not vegan. Got a pizza half cheese half whatever lol. It tastes soooo weird! The cheese tasted like sour cream, not good at all. Also had to wait like 30 min for one pie.

Delicious vegan pizza. Meets all the necessary pizza requirements--hot, cheesy, and crust that's both soft and crunchy...but not TOO crunchy. This food truck shares a couple picnic tables with another truck, so be prepared to make friends, time it right, or wait for somewhere to sit.

This is the best vegan pizza that I have had to this day I like trying their rotating pies. They are always unique and delicious! Not to mention they have great mozzarella sticks and cookies! Keep on doing what you're doing! Highly recommend to anyone Vegan or non-vegan (you could probably fool some of the nons!)

OH MY GOD, amongst the best vegan pizza I've ever had. Their cheese could easily fool a non-vegan. Dough in the crust was soft and chewy which I loved. Love that they have so many flavors. Will definitely be coming back here for my pizza fix.

this is my first ever yelp review, somewhat out of spite to another review left on this truck's page recently. i am not vegan. despite that, i eat quite a bit of vegan food, because i know and enjoy meat/dairy substitutes and am constantly in awe of the growth of plant-based meat alternatives like what Possum Pizza uses. i live down the street from Buzzmill, which is Possum Pizza's new home as well as the home to multiple other completely vegan places (it's well known for that fact.) tonight, we got this week's special, the Dollar Menu, as well as the Philly and some Possum Popplers. first of all, it's insane to me the Popplers are not actual chicken. holy shit. gold star on these, guys. the pizzas were also glorious. the crusts are indescribably yummy, like a cross between the trashiness of pizza hut without the grease-y feel that makes you feel like you need a shower afterwards, and the sophistication of a perfectly wood fired pie. somehow buttery??? the seitan on the pies in the form of the strips for the philly and the beyond meat + gardein for the dollar menu were cooked perfectly, arrangement of toppings was perfect, service was perfect. i could imagine this place might get busy, because last night at Buzzmill i saw so many boxes for Possum and smiling faces behind them that it made me excited to get to try them, and i'm glad today i did! delicious food, trashy in all the best ways.

I've had quite a few vegan pizzas and this place is awesome! I would've had a photo, but we ate it too fast! We got the Bac'n Mac'n Cheezer. They did not skimp on the mac or the cheeze. Dough is delicious, fresh, and fluffy. There were no leftovers! My husband and I crushed the 12 inch pizza which, in my opinion, is perfect for 2 people. The thing I love most is that they have individual slices of each pizza also! So if you're nervous about buying a whole pizza, just buy a slice and see how ya feel! Customer service is great and everyone is really sweet. There are little tables near where you park. If you decide to sit and wait at one, they will call your name out on a speaker. My only gripe is the tiny parking lot, but this is Austin which is land of tiny parking lots. So I can't hold it against them, but just a heads up to other people if you want to bring a group to this amazing joint you should probably carpool. Pro tip: get here early before they run out of stuff! Thanks for the amazing pizza!

This place is an absolute gem. I visited before COVID hit, so I was able to interact with the people in the truck and eat at the little picnic table outside. They were very kind and personable. I ordered a half and half pizza, the pepperoni and then the cheese steak. I also ordered cheese sticks and a cookie and then I bought some stickers of their adorable logo!! The pepperoni pizza was amazing and I've never had vegan cheese sticks before - they were great!!! And the cookie was sinfully delightful. I would definitely go back there as soon as I'm back in town.

What a treat! Had a split pizza and both sides were super good! Texted our order in and told when it would be ready. Given it's a small truck only so many pizzas can be cooked at a time so when we arrive we had to wait a bit longer but the man in the truck (owner i presume?) offered us both a slice as we waited an extra five minutes. He didn't have to do that but super nice of him. Parking lot has nice shade and benches to enjoy the breeze as you wait for your order. Wish this place well.

I am newly vegetarian and dabbling in being vegan, and so I've been looking for veg replacements of foods I used to love eating regularly Grateful for Possum Pizza that has delivered on each pizza I've ordered so far. Cheezer, Bacn' Mac, Ultameat-um, all of em have been great. The folks who run it are super friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to visiting more times when I get a hankering.

I'm by no means vegan but this place was delicious. Ordered the possum'roni and added pineapple with a side of vegan ranch. Feel free to BYOB, and you can even use their bottle opener! It was so good. The crust is one of the best hybrid thin crusts I've had. Not at all soggy, but instead crisp and chewy while still being thin and delicious. The cheese is goopy and the whole bite feels like a new level of pizza flavor delivery. The ranch was even better than most dairy versions I've come across. Try it out, vegan or not, or even bring your own meat because the entire pizza is top notch.

This spot is a MAJOR guilty pleasure! I can't seem to stop ordering their pizza. Send help, please. Okay, okay, don't send help -- I'm good here. I've tried everything on the menu, except for their occasional specials because I seem to miss them, or they didn't appeal to me at that time. Follow their Instagram for specials. I enjoy the fact I could order several pizzas that are half/half -- Example: A 16 inches pizza with Possum'Roni on one side, and Bac'n'Mac Cheezer on the other half. The people there are amazing! I was sick one day, and ordered my pizzas for the house to share via text (I had a Favor runner delivering them), and they wrote a sweet message on the side of a pizza box. Much love!

Delicious vegan pizza! Possibly the best vegan pizza I've eaten from a joint. None of the other vegan pizzas I've ever tried has hit the spot like this one. Highly recommend and you just can't miss this one.

Just happened upon this little Gem. Personally as a vegan and animal lover, I am drawn by places with animals in the name lol so it's no wonder I stopped at Possum Pizza. Had a great time talking with the owner, who was so pleasant. I highly recommend asking how they came to be... wonderful story. So what about the Pizza? Can I just say... it's amazingly de-lish!!!!! I love the crispy thin crust and the sauce. Cheese melts beautifully and is tasty...nice flavor. Even as a vegan I find some mozzarella used on vegan pizzas are too strong or over the tops. This one is perfect. Mozzarella sticks were very tasty and service was top notch. I highly recommend checking Possum Pizza out!!! I will be back. I love this place so much. They sometimes offer a stuffed crust pizza that is to die for. Don't forget to get an appetizer with your pizza, you'll thank me later! You can't go wrong with Possum Pizza, everything is vegan and delicious. Oh and I've seen an actual possum in their garbage can. It scared me the first time I saw it, but you get used to it. I've named it Remy (from the movie Ratatouille) because I'm convinced he's the one making those delicious pizzas. Thanks Remy and the rest of the crew at Possum Pizza!

Possum Pizza is one of my favorite pizza spots in Austin. It's affordable, and quick. You can call ahead AND text (which I haven't seen at many spots) in your order! It's so good that some days it even sells out! The specials are out there in a good way, some good combos and with ingredients you don't see on pizza often. Please support this small business, I see the potential for it to go super far!!!

Like others have said, it is THE best. Vegan or not, this is my new goto pizza. Why eat the other stuff when you can enjoy a delicious pie and not feel like sh_t?
