"Yes, this is a national chain, but it’s our national chain, and it happens to be the least worst option in the food court at Navy Pier. If you’ve never had a Potbelly sandwich, all you need to know is that they’re toasted and delicious—get the Italian or the disorientingly good PB&J. And don’t leave without a milkshake, which you can drink on your long walk down the pier to The Original Rainbow Cone." - adrian kane

Google
the most unorganized process ever. i have never had such a bad time ordering. I asked for italian on flatbread, the guy repeated BACK to me that i wanted flatbread and i agreed, did not get flatbread and was told i never asked. then they were shuffling people along, gave me a sandwich in a bag marked with someone else’s order on it and proceeded to give me attitude when i brought it up. there was no line for checking out and we stood around with our food for minutes as they were asking random people to pay for their food. the overstimulation and anxiety of it! I will be staying away

We stood in line for 10 minutes at the end where signs say to order from, for them to start taking orders at the other end. No big deal but as soon as we get to that end (by waiting in line for another 10 minutes) they skip us and start taking orders behind us... There were only a handful of people in line but I wasn't going to go the back of the line again and wait another 10 minutes just because they couldn't decide where they wanted to take orders from 🤦🏻‍♀️. The few orders they did take while we were waiting took them forever to fill and food seemed ok at best 🤷🏻‍♀️

So I don’t really have a complaint about the food or anything. It was honestly pretty decent (tad bit pricey but that seems to be the case for Chicago). My issue is with whoever it was in the kitchen (idk if it was a cook or manager or what) who came out to the front and berated one of the employees in front of everyone. It was honestly the most condescending thing I’ve ever seen and I felt so bad for her. She was helping me with my order and she was the sweetest person. Absolutely didn’t deserve that kind of treatment- it made my blood boil. Please do better!

Extremely slow service to make 1 sandwich took 15 minutes. Colin was very rude from the moment I ordered my sandwich looked at me like I was bothering him didn’t even make my sandwich as someone else took over there was like 10 people working doing what who knows at Colin then appears at the counter to take my payment but doesn’t because my sandwich is still being made with condiments that girl was sooo very slow. No one in line but us. Mind you it’s Father’s Day. Colin was running his mouth being rude as we waited. Completely ruined the mood for us. Don’t waste your time going to this pot belly.

That uncivilized Black female attendant just rudely yelled “Hey, You!” at me when she wanted to ask the fillings for my sandwich. It’s a pity they only took cash last Jan 2024 considering our cashless digital age. Avoid this like the plague!
