One of the very few places I can give 5 stars to. I started coming here over 10 years ago and not much has changed, in a good way. Same great food and awesome service. Parking is always a challenge because the lot is pretty small, and there's not a lot of street parking nearby, so plan ahead and practice patience.

Google
The BEST Thai food I’ve ever tried in America. Surprisingly large amount of delicious food with good vibe and service. A must try in Pasadena.

Google
I liked how they greeted us when we walked in, but their service was inconsistent. When we were leaving, they said nothing. As for the food, it was okay. Their president’s bbq beef was too burnt for our liking. Yellow curry was too watery. And, their papaya salad had iceberg lettuce mixed in, which we didn’t like. Overall, I think everything could have been better, and they ought to do something about the annoying flies that were hovering our dishes.

Google
Really great decoration and atmosphere. Food and service were good. The self-serve plastic containers for water were a little inconsistent with the rest of the vibes of the restaurant, but we also came during lunch time at a slow time; maybe they switch out the container for fancier glasses during dinner time. Small parking lot.

Google
I was thoroughly impressed with this Thai restaurant, which we discovered on LA's list of top eateries. It lived up to its reputation by offering exceptionally tasty dishes. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I visited with my family, and we all enjoyed a variety of plates, each one delightful. While parking can be challenging, it's worth the wait for a spot. This establishment also serves the best Thai iced tea I've ever tasted, with just the right amount of sweetness and rich flavor.

Google
They're super kind and attentive! Came here for a friends birthday and had a great time celebrating them. They're super fast with ordering and helping us make decisions along with serving the food. Looking forward to coming back soon! Parking was a bit tough, it's small right where they are but I saw there was street parking and additional parking around the area.

Google
President Thai (est 1994) is a very popular restaurant that offer authentic Thai cuisine in Pasadena-SGV area. Its interior is finely decorated with ornate Thai art form, and with traditional music background. As soon as Customers step inside they’re being transported to Thailand and greet you in Thai, Sawadee ka! I had a Pad woon sen and coconut juice. Food tasted great and serving could easily feed 2-3 people. Moreover, their juice (16oz) was refreshing with chunks of coconut. Service was on point. Staff were assiduous and professional. Prices were definitely expensive compared to other thai restaurant. Parking lot and street are available. Overall, it’s a great restaurant. I recommend it.

Google
We got to the restaurant right as it opened. What I liked about the employees, they were busy cleaning the parking lot, sweeping and tidying up. Inside, I saw an employee cleaning the windows and wiping tables and cleaning chairs etc. The windows looked very clean and imo add greatly to the appearance of the restaurant. A clean dining area usually means a clean kitchen. I ordered president Thai BBQ beef lunch special and It's very tasty. It comes with a salad and two wontons and rice. They are always consistent and the food is delicious.

Yelp
One of the best Thai food restaurants you'll ever visit every dish is an awesome experience.

Yelp
There's just something about Thai food that is always so comforting. Ordered takeout on a Friday night and omgeee is this place is amazing. Let's talk egg rolls... fantastic give me 14 of them! These are seriously the best. Everything was cooked to perfection. They were crunchy and crispy in all the right ways. The filling was flavorful and easy to bite into. Very well made. An absolute must is the crab meat fried rice. Huge portions and delicious crab all throughout the rice. It was flavorful and made very well. Usually I'm a chicken fried rice kinda gal but after this place I can never go back to being a basic chicken fried rice gal. Crab meat fried rice is where it's at. Now I couldn't write this review without trying my absolute favorite dish. Pad Kee Mow aka drunken noodles. This place offers a combination option of chicken, beef, pork, and shrimp for an extra charge. Definitely a must. This option takes drunken noodles to a whole other level. Hands down some of the best Thai food and a true foodies paradise! Prices are reasonable and the portions are huge! I definitely will be back ready to try more dishes!

Yelp
3.5. The spring rolls had an unusual flavor, but the fried rice and pad see ew were pretty good. It isn't my favorite Thai, but pretty solid. As a note, I did order takeout so food could certainly be better in person.

Yelp
every time i pass by president thai there's a full parking lot and a line out the door. i was finally able to give it a try and im so glad i did! i tried the papaya salad, pad thai and tom yum soup. every dish was so delicious! well seasoned and ingredients are fresh. portions are also very large we were only able to make a dent and took the rest to-go service is also very nice with waiters checking up on us very often parking lot is a bit small so it can get hard when it's busy but there are also street parking available
google avatar

Jia Y.

Yelp
Really good food for the price and area! We got the lunch specials for yellow curry and beef panang. We also got the crab cakes and the chicken satay. The Tom yum soup that came with the special though was cold.... I wouldn't recommend the crab cakes, they kinda were fishy but overall, would come back again. Get the chicken satay if you are hungry! Service is okay and the interior is nicely decorated. Just becareful of parking

Yelp
Since 1994 President Thai has been offering delicious dishes to the community. As you walk in the restaurant, you get a feeling that we are no longer in 2024. Ambiance is very cozy, traditional and somewhat small so make sure to get there early because it gets packed. Parking but not too many spots. The service is great, our food was brought up pretty fast. Now the food, I love Thai food and this restaurant delivered. Love, loved their fried wonton with a ginger honey. I want to go back just for the wontons. We also had the cashew nut chicken which has a lot of cashews, which I appreciated. You could taste the lemon grass in the Tom you soup. We ordered one side of steam rice which was enough for us. But If you like rice then you may want to order two or more. Cheers and enjoy, Barbara

Yelp
We came in a group and we became pretty early, so there was no wait. But by the time we left there was a wait for other guest. My favorite portion was the red curry and the pad see ew. Service was a little slow, but it was understandable as it was a weekend and it was pretty crowded. This is a family style restaurant, but they do offer smaller portions for lunch specials that come with soup and rice. TLDR - love the family style, food is good, good portions, crowded on weekends

Yelp
President Thai is one of the OG spots, around for nearly 30 years. I hadn't been back in a while because it's always busy, but we decided to come for lunch on a Saturday. Even though it was packed, we were seated quickly. We ordered the seafood papaya salad, pad kee mao, President's BBQ beef, and fried banana with sticky rice for dessert. The food came out fast. The papaya salad was refreshing--sweet, sour, and tangy--with lots of squid but not much of the other seafood. The pad kee mao was my favorite; the flat noodles were cooked perfectly. The BBQ beef was tender with a nice grilled flavor. The dessert was a perfect ending, with sweet sticky rice and lightly fried bananas. Overall, I had a great meal, and it made me wonder why I hadn't come back sooner. Definitely looking forward to returning!

Yelp
We came here on a Wednesday night and this place was packed! We sat down immediately and they even asked our group if we wanted to move to a larger table as ours was a little crammed, very considerate staff. We ordered the wonton soup and beef satay skewers to start - the wonton soup came out with this fire thing and was yummy. However, it was a little bit difficult to serve. Next we got the pad see yu, beef with Thai basil and onion/peppers, jumbo prawns with garlic, and sautéed string beans. The portions are all very large and easy to share. The noodles were a hit - great flavor and consistency. The shrimp were covered in too much garlic and difficult to remove the shell. The beef and green beans both had great flavor. We ended with the mango sticky rice and it was the best! The large pieces of mango were extremely fresh and the rice was perfectly warm. A must order. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and look forward to coming back to try more of the menu.

Yelp
Came for new years eve dinner. We were seated immediately. We ordered tofu pad thai, 3 flavors shrimp, and moo ping w sticky rice. All tasted absolutely delicious. I've been here lot's of times and I always love the food. It's a bit on the pricey side but worth it to me. We were seated outside w heat lamps. Which made it warm on a cold night.

Yelp
I came here for dinner on a Saturday evening and got seated right away without any reservations. The restaurant is located on a Main Street and has a small dedicated parking lot but if it's packed, you'll need to find street parking. The ambience of the restaurant was nice. It was a bit small and cozy, with nice wooden decor. I came here with 5 people and ordered 5 dishes: Seafood Papaya Salad: 5/5 It was so good! The seafood was not overcooked and tasted so fresh. We got it as a starter so it was really light and refreshing overall. Coconut Soup: 4/5 The soup was good and I liked the coconut flavor mixed with the tomyum. It probably had like 4 pieces of shrimp in it, which I thought could've had more given the size of the soup. It did contain a lot of mushroom though. Beef satay: 5/5 Really good, very tender beef! The peanut sauce that it came with was also delicious, a good combination. Garlic Shrimp: 4.5/5 The shrimp was so good, but a bit salty from the toppings. The shrimps were so nicely cooked and tender, and the meat peeled easily from the shell. Pad See Ew: 5/5 The best pad see ew I've ever had! The noodles were so thick and there were sufficient beef and broccoli. I also love the dish with vinegar and chili oil. Overall this is probably the best Thai restaurant I've been to in the area! Every dish was delicious and the staff were extremely quick and nice. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
President Thai was the pick for a Friday dinner. I went around 7:00 PM and was very packed. The main parking lot was completely full, but I was able to find a spot in the second lot. As a party of two, we were able to sit down quickly, but larger parties had to wait longer. By the time we left, it was still as busy. For food, we ordered (1) crab fried rice, (1) coconut soup and (1) moo ping rice. The crab fried rice was okay, but not as good as the pineapple fried rice that I tried in a previous visit. The coconut soup was too sweet. I asked for spices to add into the soup, which didn't help at all. The highlight of the meal was definitely the moo ping rice. The pork was flavorful and had a nice char to it. Note: American Express is accepted here.

Yelp
The drunken noodles here are the best I've ever had, hands down. Everything else we tried, from the soups to the shared dishes, was equally delicious. I went with a group of three, and the portions were perfect for sharing. Despite being really busy, the staff were attentive and helpful. The place is packed every time I visit, which speaks to its popularity. The only downside is the parking--it can be tricky. There's another small lot, but it fills up quickly. There is street parking down the road though, which wasn't too hard to find. I'm already looking forward to my next visit for more drunken noodles!

Yelp
I really missed the old President Thai. It's just not the same as it used to be. We went for lunch on Christmas Day, and while it was busy, they wouldn't seat our party of nine until everyone had arrived. Not even with 6 of us, and they had plenty of empty tables in the patio area. Didnt help that the host came off as more bossy than welcoming, which set a disappointing tone during the wait. The food wasn't what I remembered from six years ago; it now tasted bland. The Kra Pao with soft tofu was especially disappointing--it was more like wet slop. And they overloaded the regular kra pao with string beans, making it unappetizing. Most of the servers seemed unhappy to be working on Christmas Day, rushing us and upselling on our orders, which added to the overall unpleasant vibe. Parking was also a challenge, though we were lucky to find a spot in the next lot over.
google avatar

Darren L.

Yelp
Good vibe as you walk in. We were seated promptly. Waited a bit long for a waiter to get our drink and food order. Ordered the Chicken Pad Thai lunch special. It came with a salad. Salad was fresh and crunchy. The dressing was not too flavorful. Pad Thai was a bit too sweet for my taste buds. The meal was plentiful, though.

Yelp
The Thai food here tastes a bit more authentic compared to other Thai restaurants in the SGV. I loved all the dishes we had here and the crispy pork with bean sprouts was amazing. We got it extra spicy and it had a nice kick. We came for dinner on a Friday and it was fully crowded. Make sure to make a reservation. The parking lot is small so you may have to find street parking if you go during busy hours. The restaurant has a Thai vibe.

Yelp
I have been to President Thai many times and I am shocked that I never reviewed this place before. It used to be one of my parent's favorite places when they lived in the area. We would come here often for either lunch or dinner but usually, this place is busy with tons of families enjoying a nice meal together. I feel like this is a great place to share different items and to get to understand Thai cuisine. If you dislike hot and spicy let them know and they can make most dishes with a lighter flavor! Also not everything will be spicy. I love the vegetable rice noodle dish it comes with a variety of vegetables and is stir-fried. Don't forget to add some sauce if you want to have a kick of spice. Service is friendly and I love their portion sizes. If it's too much you can always take some to go and have it the next day! They have a variety of selections from rice dishes, meat, seafood, and also my favorite noodle dishes. Also don't forget to get their fried tofu it is delicious with that tasty sauce.

Yelp
This was my go to Thai spots over 15 years ago and finally got to come back. Prices are definitely pricey for Thai food, a plate of veggies are near $20. In terms of quality though, its up there, its very good. Came on a Wednesday with a reservation at 6:30 and was seated promptly. Seems like many parties come here to celebrates birthdays because I heard many celebrations. We ended up seating on the outside portion so that was pretty nice and quiet. In terms of food here are my thoughts. Chicken/Beef Satay - I loved the dipping sauce. It was good and juicy. Both were solid. (4.5/5) Calamari - The batter is where this was at. Crispy and delicious. I really enjoyed this. (5/5) Eggrolls - Simple but pretty good appetizer. Nothing to wow'd about but it was good. (4/5) Crispy Pork Belly with Chinese Broccoli - This dish was okay. Nothing spectacular and the crispy pork belly turned soft. It's overpriced for veggies IMO. (3/5) Ong Choi - Honestly don't think veggies should be priced this high. It was good though but IMO not worth. (3.5/5) President's BBQ Beef - Pretty solid beef dish and flavors were good. (4/5) Mooping with Sticky Rice - Would recommend, this one had tons of flavor and was super tender. Sticky rice was nice. (5/5) Pad See Ew - I'm impressed how good this was. It looks like any other pad se ew but flavorwise it was very good. Would get again (5/5) Crab Fried Rice - Another solid dish especially since white rice is extra per bowl. It was good and would recommend. (5/5) Green Curry - Flavors were standard and overall a good dish. God it with beef and no complaints for this curry. (4.5/5) Mango Sticky Rice - This place does it right for this dessert. Mango is fresh and sticky rice had good texture. (5/5) Overall, the food is where it's at. Service was also good and overall this felt like a higher end Thai spot. We ended up doing family style for 8 people and in total paid $38 per person with a little leftover food to take home. It's pricey but someplace I'd go for special occasion or if I had the feeling of eating good food.

Yelp
Very little flavor to this food, will not order from here again. Pad thai almost tasteless.
google avatar

Yelp
I came here about 2 times now and the place is always packed and gotta squeeze through chairs and tables. The flavor for each dish was off the charts. I tried their mango sticky rice , crab fried rice, string beans, pad see you and some crab cakes.

Yelp
Yummy! President Thai is a food destination for solid, authentic Thai Cuisine. Thai restaurant is worth the wait. Solid food that comes hot and flavorful. My favorite dishes are the following: 1. Thai Basil Eggplant with Chicken Breast 2. Pad See Eww Beef Spicy Level 6 3. Green Curry Sole Fillet 4. Orange Chicken They have spicy condiments upon request. My favorite is the vinegar Jalapeños. They also have Sriracha type of hot sauce as well as chili pepper flakes. They do a really good Jumbo Shrimp Appetizer if you are feeling fancy.

Yelp
My friend and I raced to get here. The last one to get here had to pay for dinner. We came at the same time but she beat mebto the entrance. The ambiance was nice na dnot as loud and not as filled as the weekend. Jesse was our server and he was great, bringing us water, our Thai iced teas, and our orders came out pretty quick. There was no wait today. Maybe because it's a Monday. We enjoyed the seafood pad thai and the beef satay. Everything was flavorful and delicious. And perfect temperature, too. For dessert, we had the mango with sticky rice. I used to make this and its time consuming to make. It came hot and tasted great!! You get the coconut flavor in the rice and on the sauce. Mango was perfectly riped. Ivgave five stars for the ambiance, their food ans swrvice. Thanks President Thai team for a memorable meal with mi amiga.

Yelp
This is my family's go- to spot for family events ( or whenever we crave thai food) and without fail, the staff has always been friendly and offering the best customer service. Every worker we have encounted so far has been friendly, and efficient. You can't go wrong with any of the items on the menu because everything is delicious. Parking is limited but they also offer parking at the business next door.
google avatar

Yelp
We went for lunch special and wasn't disappointed. The wait was not too long. Foods came out with nice presentation and good portions. Service is as friendly as efficient. Foods tasted great and authentic and reminded us the food we had in Bangkok.

Yelp
Very busy on the day of my visit. I was greeted and sat right away. The hostess, Sherry was very nice and welcoming. They have two menus, one was a standard menu and the other menu was a photo book menu. The restaurant was a bit loud and there was a lot going on while I dined in. It took about 10-15 minutes before a server approached my table to take my order. I ordered yellow curry fried rice, pad see ew, Chinese broccoli. Yellow Curry Fried Rice- 10/10 (Umami flavor HIGHLY RECOMMEND) Pad See Ew- 5/10 (Too sweet for my liking. This dish was missing charred noodles. They were a bit too soft as they were over cooked. I would probably choose a different noodle option.) Chinese Broccoli- 4/10 (Texture was great. Big kiss on the sauce as it was also sweet. The sauce consistency was slimy.) After taking my order I never saw my server again throughout my experience. Even when it came for time the bill and to go boxes he was no where to be found. Throughout my meal no one came to check in to see if I needed anything else. The hostess, Sherry, approached my table as she saw I needed assistance. I let her know I needed boxes for my leftovers and the check, she said she would get my server. After a few minutes of trying to locate him, she came with the bill and boxes. She was very proactive and didn't hesitate to assist me.

Yelp
Prompt and great service even during busy nights. I am a regular at this place. Food was solid as usual. Lots of larger groups! So expect some noise. But it's all good when it's all families having gatherings. Very pleasant visit as usual. Their pad thai is perfection! Order it if you go!

Yelp
I've been coming to this restaurant for years. I've never ever had an issue, but today New Year's Day I found a staple in our pad see ew? By the grace of God, we saw it that would've been in somebody's stomach probably for the rest of their life contacted the restaurant they didn't seem to care... check your food people.

Yelp
We loved our experience here! The food was amazing, Tom Yum soup, shrimp and vegetable pad Thai. The staff was attentive , personable and pleasant. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Absolutely I recommend this restaurant!! :P Veranda setting made us feel like we were back in Thailand! Great ambiance. Pad Thai - delicious!! Perfectly sweet and savory. 4 Piece Shrimp Cake - an absolute MUST. It was SO YUMMY! We debated getting another plate of it but had already ordered too much food :P Tom Yum Soup - hit the spot. Panang Curry - delightful! Pad See Ew - my favorite, perfectly flavored! Chicken 6 Piece Satay - the sauce was so good. Papaya Salad - so yummy, and a huge portion! Looking forward to coming back! :P

Yelp
Third time here. The food here still slaps. 10/10 would recommend! The soft shell crap is so good!

Yelp
This is a classic place for amazing Thai food. Prices are a bit higher than typical Thai restaurants around the nearby SGV, but the taste and quality make it worth it!
google avatar

Yelp
There's a reason why the parking lot is full every time President Thai is open! I eat here every chance I get a Thai craving they never disappoint. Food is delicious. Service is great. I go to their pad Thai. No one is better ! the mango sticky rice the Tom yum soup, bbq beef...

Yelp
After many years, I have finally come back to eating here since it's so close to me now. Parking can be a pain, but they do have a small/medium sized designated parking lot. This place can get a bit pricey but overall the food and portion size justifies it. 1) Pad thai tofu = would definitely get again, perfectly seasoned and good amount 2) Duck noodle soup w/ egg noodles = this was ok. wouldn't get again but I think it's more because it's not my type of food preference 3) Pineapple fried rice (standard w/ chicken) = delicious. Would def get again, flavor was on point 4) crab roll appetizer = deliciously crunch, real crab and big pieces. 6 total. I would def get again 5) shrimp and scallop dish = this was pretty salty... unfortunately. It was hard to consume but went well with the pineapple fried rice. I dont think I would get this again 6) Mango sticky rice = you can never go wrong with this. mangos were extra sweet! Overall, I'd give this place a 4.5, but I'll round to 5. The ambiance is great, service is attentive and nice, and they were accommodating to our baby - brought us paper plates with plastic fork/spoon, and plastic water cup with straw for her.

Yelp
This is my favorite spot for Thai food. Now I'm not a huge Thai food eater. So please take this review from a foodie that partakes Thai here n there. Weekends + evenings this place is packed. Went on a Saturday night and the wait was about 30min. It's always been like this as far as I can remember. Traditional and older style decor. Just brings some homely vibes to President Thai. Service has always been friendly. Other patrons however are not always friendly. Had about two not so good encounters with people who go here. Papaya salad medium spicy - fresh and light. Very delicious. Garlic Jumbo Prawns - I swear these have lost their status. They have been amazing every single time I've been except for the last time. I don't know if they needed to grill them more or what but something wasn't absolute hit like it normally is. I'll always get this dish btw. Basil Pork Belly - How is this a pork dish? The amount of crispy pork to green bean ratio dwindles every time. Delicious and savory and not so spicy. I wish there was more pork Fried crab rolls - First time having these. They remind me of a crab egg roll. Crab meat and other stuff inside is mushy. Texture is ok and flavor is okay. Would I get these again probs not. Crab Meat Fried Rice - Presidents Thai rice dishes have always been good. This came in very good. Just not enough balance in the flavors. The rice overall was more oily than ever and you get a lot of crab meat. Pad Se Ew - My favorite item. I opt for beef instead of chicken and this is a clutch move. Noodles do not stick to other. Seasoning is very umami and not too salty or sweet. It's very good. I'll always get this

Yelp
Was recommended this Thai restaurant by a coworker, and this place had such quality food. I love the ambiance of this restaurant, it's very open and has an authentic feeling to it. So I ordered the chicken pad see ew and the spicy fried rice, and then ordered a pork pad Thai to go. The food was very fresh tasting and the fried rice was top tier in my honest opinion but, I think it could have been a little spicier. The service was good, a little slow in my opinion but it's all good because I was not in any type of rush. Overall such great food, highly recommend checking out this place for some authentic quality Thai food.

Yelp
Didn't have a bad experience when I went here. I like the ambience and I must say that Tom Yum soup was very good. I like my food really spicy and they definitely delivered. Service was fast and to the point no dilly dally and my server was very nice.

Yelp
We chose this restaurant to have dinner with good friends. It is recommended to book a reservation for larger parties. Upon arriving, the small parking lot was completely full. There are limited spots along the street. The outdoor decor is very traditional with elephant statues at the front. Once you enter, the interior is very cramped. There is outdoor seating available. We were seated very promptly. The server was as attentive as can be, even though it was super busy. The food took a while to arrive, but they did warn us when we put in our order. It was our first time trying President Thai, and it exceeded our expectations. We ordered several entrees to be shared family style. For starters, we enjoyed the stuffed chicken. It was crispy and delicious. Our dinner choices were: ****President's BBQ beef - grilled to perfection and so tasty. *****Jumbo shrimp in garlic sauce - jumbo prawns sautéed with tons of garlic. Delicious! *****Panang Curry with beef - so creamy with a spicy flavor that will hit you slowly. Excellent! *****Pad see ew with chicken - large flat noodles with your choice of protein. So good! ****Pad Thai with shrimp - this noodle dish was on the sweet side. But, it was still tasty. ****Green beans with garlic - tender green beans stir fried with loads of fried garlic. Yum! All dishes were authentic and delicious. The service was quick and friendly. We topped off this wonderful meal with the sticky rice with mango. What a sweet treat! We would come back more often if it was a bit closer to home.

Yelp
President Thai is one of the Thai Restaurants we go to in this area. In the past , we usually order the tom yum seafood. Today, we ordered a take out - Pad See Ew with pork, Green Curry Beef Steak, Chicken Satay, mango sticky rice, 4 small rice, and decided to try Crispy Pork Belly with Spicy Basil Sauce. I wasn't happy that the price stated here is not accurate as I need to add $2 for every dish. The portion is good. One note: if the dish has green beans in it even though meat is supposed to be the main ingredient expect a lot of green beans instead of meat. Or only order one dish that has green beans unless you love a lot of green beans. My son likes the Pad See Ew. He said it has a special kind of "smoky taste". We are ok with the Pad See Ew. This is not for those who doesn't like oily noodles as the noodles are very oily. Hubby likes the green curry beef steak. To me it's just ok. The crispy pork belly with spicy basil is just so so but need to change name to Green Beans with crispy pork belly as the main ingredient is green bean and it's not spicy. I had to add the chilli boh and Thai chilli to it to make it taste better. It's not bad but not special and doesn't have much taste. Perhaps need more gravy or make sure the green beans have taste. Mango sticky rice is very good! Chicken Satay is ok. I would give President Thai 3 stars for today but my son gave 4 and during previous encounters, the food was much better so I'll give 4 stars for now. We shall see how they do next time we come and update the review.

Yelp
What drew us to President Thai is the beautiful exterior as we wanted a nice sit-down meal at a visually pleasing restaurant. The parking lot was packed on a weekend evening, but there was plenty of street parking. Wait time of 25mins was acceptable- it gave us enough time to familiarize the menu and come up with a food game plan! As soon as we sat down, we were asked for our patience if no one comes to our table... ummm, ok, we were turned off by that. Luckily we knew what to order so we placed it all in as soon as someone came to us. Honestly, the food tasted better the next day when we had it for leftovers! 1. Coconut jumbo shrimp soup - by far my favorite! Shrimp was generously large and the taste of the soup was delicious! Very pleased with this, and the presentation with the blazing fire shooting out from the middle was pretty cool! 2. Green curry with beef - will not recommend this one. It wasn't the green curry flavor that I had expected, and I didn't think the beef went well with the curry. Should've gotten the chicken or shrimp. Beef was tender and soft, but the curry/beef combo just didn't go well for me. 3. Seafood with steamed noodles - this was a new thai dish for me, and it was alright. It didn't look like the picture on the menu but it was acceptable. This tasted much better the next day with some hot sauce. It's very family-friendly; aka. loud and lively. Somewhat hectic and chaotic, in my opinion. I wouldn't think to come here when I'm craving Thai food, but because of their large visual menu, it makes it easy to order and try new foods. Will likely come back and try some new items!

Yelp
There's about 2-3 more dishes that I didn't get to post. The exotic dishes kept being served. I celebrated two birthdays this evening and it was a feast. Dishes were served fairly quickly. The ambience is someone traditional looking with low ceilings. President Thai feels like a neighborhood gem that's been serving amazing dishes for years. Most at our table drank cold Thai tea. The servers were nice enough to serve the birthday cake that was kept cold in the kitchen. This restaurant has its own parking lot which is a big plus!

Yelp
It's been a while... since we sat down and ate. Around 2pm on a Saturday I expected more of a wait but we were sat in 10 minutes of putting our name down. The staff is very friendly, giving my kids high fives and saying hello to them, the kids love it. We were hungry and wanted to order everything. Good thing we only started (and ended) with two items. Kids ate almost the whole cup of rice between them. Wife and I enjoyed the yellow curry with chicken, always hits the flavor spot. Ask for the chili plate on the side if you want your food spicer or just order it hot to begin. It was busy with a few birthdays, love the song happy birthday dear customer! Instant classic! Ended the meal with a Thai Tea and Thai Coffee and while the kids slept, we enjoyed our drinks. Can't wait to enjoy more of the menu next time.

Yelp
Great food! Long wait, but worth it! Highly recommend the Tom Yum soup and crispy pork and broccoli.

Yelp
Great place to gather for an intimate date, family dinner or group gathering. They have something for everyone! Food is served family style so you can try a little of everything and then come back for more. Their pad thai is one my favorites, as well as their jumbo shrimp and yellow curry fried rice. Try it all because you can't go wrong!! The atmosphere is very lively and it can be hard to have a private conversation. It's a little quieter on the outside patio (it's covered). Parking can be limited.

Yelp
Food: (5/5) Chicken Pad Thai - Lunch Special: (5/5) There is a wide selection of dishes on their lunch special menu, all for an affordable price and comes with a choice between a small bowl of tom yum soup or small plate of salad, fried wontons, and rice (depending on your dish). I chose to get the salad and it was SO YUMMY. The salad thankfully came with a generous amount of dressing. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai as my main dish and it was so delicious! The sauce was tangy and the noodles were very flavorful! The portions are very generous here as I had enough to feed myself, others, and even leftovers to take home! I will definitely be coming back here for their incredible value and delightful food! Service: (5/5) We came during the lunch rush so our server was quite busy. Despite this, our server was extremely kind, attentive, and helpful. He remembered everything we asked for and brought it out accordingly. He also constantly went out of his way to ask us if we needed anything else and to check up on our table regularly. The bussers are also very attentive and immediately exchanged our water pitcher without me needing to call them over. A few of our dishes came after the rest however I didn't even need to ask them about it as they made sure that it came out shortly after. Ambiance: (5/5) The restaurant gets quite packed during the lunch rush so I would highly suggest you come early as parking also gets filled up easily. The restaurant has a very homey and comfortable feel. I love how they provide a water pitcher for every table. Overall an amazing place for lunch. Thank you so much to all the staff for an delightful lunch and experience. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Amazing food! Every dish is full of flavor. Very authentic Thai food. The Pad Thai is one of the best we've had. Service was attentive. This place is very busy during the weekends. It looks like they also have outdoor patio seating available. Parking lot is small so be prepared to park on the street and walk a bit.
