Princi Review - South Lake Union - Seattle - The Infatuation

"The square focaccia pizza slices at Princi are kind of on the pricier side, but they’re pretty filling and bake extremely quickly. Since Princi doubles as a bakery, you could also technically eat a loaf of rustic bread or a chocolate ganache tart for lunch - which we can vouch for, too. photo credit: Erin Lodi" - Aimee Rizzo

Starbucks Opens First of Many Fancy, Standalone Italian Bakeries in Seattle - Eater Seattle

"In Seattle today, Starbucks opened its first standalone Princi bakery, one of 1,000 of the high-end Italian bakeries that the coffee giant plans to open throughout the U.S. The Denny Triangle bakery and cafe, located at 2118 Westlake Ave., slings a fancy, rotating array of fresh focaccia pizzas, sourdough bread, and glistening pastries. It’s the same stuff diners have had a chance to taste at the Princi that opened last fall inside Starbucks’ Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room on Capitol Hill. A second Princi opened in February at the flagship Reserve store at Starbucks’ headquarters. Like both of those locations, the new standalone bakery is wide open, encouraging customers to watch staff as they bake throughout the day. Naturally, the shop also serves Starbucks coffee, as well as cocktails, beer, and wine." - Megan Hill

Starbucks’ Next Fancy Princi Bakery Is in Denny Triangle [Updated] - Eater Seattle

"Starbucks’ latest outpost of high-end Italian bakery Princi is scheduled to open this summer in Denny Triangle. This standalone bakery will be located at 2118 Westlake Ave, just south of Whole Foods. This marks the first standalone Princi in the U.S., following the debut of the first U.S. outpost inside the Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room on Capitol Hill last November. The new location, referred to as 9th and Lenora Princi, will bake sourdough breads, focaccia pizzas, and crispy pastries on-site daily, much like other Princi locations worldwide." - Adam H. For me this is the best coffee shop in Seattle, The coffee here is very good.!! The sandwiches are perfect.. Don't forget the shakshuka... Nice big place.. Perfect to spend time for breakfast, brunch or just hang out with friends. Service is super friendly - In has a constant smile on her face under the mask and Eli made sure my coffee was perfect!! Oh, and the most important.. Very clean toilet.. :-)

Princi, how art though ubiquitous with Italian influenced pastries and gourmet brunch goods. If I were dropping by with my wife she would be impressed. The ambience was a mix of nonchalance and nostalgia as the food and service brought you back to simpler (tastier) times. Starbucks hit the nail on the head for this urban, cultured, food joint. Kudos and well done!

Very beautiful location! Fortunate to always find a spot in their outdoor seating. Every dessert they have is absolutely scrumptious and the Margherita pizza is soo good. Coffee from Starbucks Reserve is served in this location which is good too :)

Love this place - always delicious. This location definitely gets you 93% of the experience of the Reserve Roastery location on Pike Street (Capitol Hill) but minus the insane tourist crowds (and almost all of the same food is available here at Westlake!) You won’t be disappointed. Check out my pics... The fire pit is awesome, too 🔥

First impression of the place reeks of corporate boss and misses the personality of a bakery cafe. Typical pastries ( slightly smaller than traditional) however they smelled of butter awesomeness! I brought the pastries, almond, chocolate croissant, cinnamon roll and raisin roll for my family as my diet prevents enjoying all the good stuff. Bottom line-There are other very good places in Seattle that I would prefer my pastries from. However, when around Westlake, I might drop in on Princi

A must-go. I higly recommend you to try the pumpkin yogurt salad and the marmalade jam with some toasted bread. And the italian ginger ale. And the spresso macchiato. I've tried a lot of items and they were all delicious. The soundtrack is always amazing and the decoration is perfect. Good place to relax alone or with friends.

I was walking by this place, the wonderful scents caught my hunger. The breads, pizza slices, and sandwiches were so appealing. I told the attendant I felt like a little kid at a candy store. I decided on a very delicious looking slice and a grande cappuccino. The slice was heated and it came out so yummy, the right amount of savory. My only complaint is that the tables weren't cleaned, had to do that on my own. Plus there was a soap residue on my mug?

Walking in feels like you're transportated to some elegant cafe in Italy. There's a mouth watering line up of finger foods like croissants, pizza, muffins, and more that just feels expansive in comparison to the typical food offerings in local cafes. The coffee selection is somewhat limited to classic drinks (cappuccino, latte, espresso etc.), but it's enough. I ordered the Mushroom Pizza, which while delicious was expensive at $8.80 for essentially 1 slice of cheese pizza with mushrooms. Also ordered a Cappuccino and Dark Chocolate Mocha. Both drinks were good and had a good presentation. There was a firepit outside that it seemed everyone was eyeing, but some guy ended up tying his dog up while he came inside for a date, making it uncomfortable to sit there. It would be nice if they added a couple more firepits, especially in the dreary Seattle winter. Overall, I recommend visiting. You'll be impressed.
