When visiting Pronto Gelato on its first day open, I made a spumoni-esque sundae out of the flavors available: chocolate hazelnut, Oregon strawberry, and California pistachio, topped with Bordeaux cherries. The flavors worked so well together — the pistachio and strawberry were both very delicate, and the two of them together kept the richness of the chocolate hazelnut from overpowering the mix.
