Everything 10/10 When I tell you this place will make you say "Big Back Big Back" (Dora Voice) Loaded Patties are immaculate. 10/10 The creamy mac infused with the spicy oxtail on the pillow soft coco bread was a combo I didn't know I needed. Oxtail empanada was delicious & spicy (I LOVE SPICY) Ackee And Salt Fish empanada was soo flavorful and savory. 20/10. Lastly, the Pineapple Ginger juice! 10/10 strong and sweet! OMG NO LASTLY FORREAL RED VELVET CAKE soooo goooood 10/10 Big Back Big Back Big Back Big Back load it up !!!!!

Puff Patties on Nostrand Ave is a must-visit! The patties are perfectly flaky and packed with flavor. I tried the beef and chicken options, and both were absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Highly recommend stopping by for a quick bite!

The overload patties is a must try! Fluffy coco bread filled with mac n cheese, juicy oxtail meat, smothered in flavorful gravy. The texture is interesting. You taste the fluffiness from coco bread and the crispness from patty in one bite. A very satisfying meal😍

Small takeout spot on Nostrand, very glad I don’t have to go far for good patties anymore. Stopped by around 6p, only callaloo and jerk chicken available… more patties were 20 minutes from being done. Surprising variety of vegetarian options available like jerk mushroom which caught my carnivore eye…Oxtail empanadas here usually sell out earlier in the day. It’s really hard finding patties that have a magical, somewhat thick, chewy yet slightly light and flaky crust. I’ve had jerk chicken patties elsewhere which have left me skeptical, as they usually don’t taste much like jerk chicken… but this was great, really nice spice and flavor. Pineapple ginger juice was AMAZING, a strong ginger flavor but not too much, so refreshing on a hot day. Coco bread and some cheesecake slices on sale. Both card and cash accepted. I think there is a small standing counter space but no tables or seats, so plan ahead if the weather isn’t cooperative (which feels like everyday now). Service is lovely, despite being new, I appreciate the community/family feel

Another black-owned location in one day. Love it! We wanted patties and boy did we get it. Driving down Nostrand in BK not sure what we wanted to snack on. Literally spotted this pattie place as we drove by, parked then walked over to order. Apparently, the over load was a crowd favorite. It's an oxtail Jamaican pattie stuffed with macaroni and cheese then placed inside of coco bread. It was decent, the macaroni and cheese could have been better flavored to take it to the next level. Tasted more bland macaroni than the cheese. But overall the name definitely says it all. It was an entire meal. One is perfect to share. The pineapple lemonade was amazingly delicious. We ordered two over load patties ($13 each), jerk chicken ($4), barbecue chicken pattie ($4, my fave) and two pineapple lemonade ($4 each). The BBQ chicken pattie was everything. Great portion of chicken and flavorful. I would have preferred just two of those honestly. Simple, not overwhelming and messy. Definitely the most I've ever paid for patties, but nice small spot. Will return for a BBQ chicken pattie and lemonade for sure.

I ran across this place by accident and i I to say I wasn't disappointed. These were by far the best patties I have tasted in a long time and the pineapple ginger juice was very refreshing. I'm sorry I didn't catch the owner's name but she was very polite, professional and I could tell that she cared about her customers. The environment was very clean and welcoming, I wish I had time to go back before leaving the city.

Given this is a new place, they should consider either adding a door ring or something that notifies staff when the door opens. I did come around lunch time, so not sure if that has anything to do with it. I do wish there was more of a theme to decorations and the music. I got the jerk chicken and the spicy beef. These oddly tasted like soup pastries & not what I was expecting. It was interesting how I went around Noon and they were out of water. 🤔 Nice twist, but not for me. I recommend giving it a try.

Great experience, the lady at the counter gave us samples of the pineapple ginger juice which was so good we ended up getting, she also recommended we get the beef patties w the coco bread and wow she was not playin no games. 10/10 hit every spot, will for sure be back.

Saw this place on IG promoting their stuffed oxtail, Mac & cheese beef patties with coco bread. They definitely need better marketing because I've passed by this spot hundreds of times and would've never thought that it was more than a run of the mill patty shop, which are a dime a dozen in this neighborhood. So the patty was good, but nothing super super special. It was missing a little kick, but was definitely filling. I also tried the jerk mushroom empanada (super spicy), ackee and saltfish empanada (perfect), & I ended up getting a free oxtail empanada (it comes with cheese which wasn't bad, but unexpected). So there was a mixup between my friend's order and mine and even though it was fixed the staff was slow to swap. They had to continuously ask their managers questions, we had to repeat the issue and initial order, and they seemed hesitant to fix it. My waitress ended up being apologetic which I appreciated, but the other lady stared at my friend as she told her she's lactose intolerant & didnt know the oxtail empanada had cheese. It's definitely a small takeout spot, but if they'd warn about wait times, advertise better and work on their customer service it'll be great. I loved their scotch bonnet sauce on the side- authentically Caribbean spicy.

Some of the best patties in the city, without sacrificing variety. Plenty of vegetarian options. A mix of golden crust and wheat dough options. Some empanadas as well. Hard to choose what to order. Good coco bread. Amazing scotch bonnet puff's sauce that must be tried. Everything was delicious, both in flavor and texture. Whether you're a patty regular or not, this is where to go.

My son went 2 days after me and got the loaded beef patty he absolutely loved it for $12.00 definitely worth it. Gotta eat it with a fork eventually from all the gravy. He said It's filled with flavor The spicy from the patty Blending with the gravy with the oxtail Then the Mac & cheese not too cheesy just right fresh noodles Patty crust flaky a nice crunch And the bread soft So in so many words definitely go to Puff patties because I will be back

Checked out puffs and I was pleasantly surprised even though they were mostly out of patties which is a great sign. I was lucky enough to commandeer a jerk chicken patty. I was about to drive all the way to Sybil's in queens, lol. I'll still brave that pilgrimage but Puffs will definitely be on my hit list. The patty was light, fresh, and the flavor profile of the chicken was on point. Puffs offers other Patty filings which I'm definitely going to return to try. I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area.

The staff's attitude was absolutely disgusting. Attitude for days. Patty was good, but if she's serving say I do go back, I'm walking right out.

I've been so eager to visit and today I had time. It's a small shop with a big impression as soon as you walk in. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner, Kim, and she was so friendly and joyful. Everything is made on site daily and the quality of the food really shows. I purchased a mild beef patty with coco bread and a small pineapple ginger juice and everything came up to $11. The juice was delicious and refreshing and the patty with coco bread was equally as delicious. Seasoned perfectly, flaky crust and the bread was soft and such a compliment to the patty. They have a variety of patties as well as empanadas, sliced cakes and buns. Personally, I love a traditional beef patty so I'm never going to try an oxtail or jerk patty but you guys feel free to do so. I'm sure it's delicious. There aren't too many restaurants that make traditional beef patties so I highly recommend Puff's for your next stop to get one. Eat, drink and enjoy!

Wanted to like this place and give a better review and rating, but bad customer service will absolutely ruin an experience. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon and were told that all patties were a 15 minute Wait. We said ok, no problem and were told to wait outside. 30+ minutes later, no patties. When asking how much longer for the wait, the person inside had an attitude and wasn't giving a definitive answer. When they finally started fulfilling orders, there was no order to it. So people who came after us were getting served first, and it was complete chaos with multiple people getting upset. They allowed people to walk in and get food before they served the folks who had been waiting for 15-30 minutes. And the fact that they couldn't have the decency to be pleasant or apologize was beyond disappointing. The 1 star is only because the spicy beef patty was good, even though the crust was thin and fell apart. But the oxtail empanada was a huge disappointment. A little tiny piece of oxtail and all breading. I really wanted to support a small, black owned business but cannot recommend this place to anyone.

The regular beef patty was pretty good. But the oxtail empanada wasn't worth it. Full of fat, not much meat. The wait was pretty long for the empanada and they didn't give a heads up that it would be a little while before it was ready. If I had known, I would've just bought another patty.

We had the oxtails and salt fish empanadas and when said this food is freaking amazing, the service was A1 the 2 young ladies were very sweet. This spot is very small but really cute love the ambiance. I would recommend this to everyone around the world . I plan to come here over and over...

The food was new and innovative. I would have never imagined putting oxtail inside of a beef patty then adding Mac & Cheese and cocoa bread. However the amount of oxtail in the patty was minimal. I would have loved more gravy in the patty. It was a little dry for my tastebuds. The pizza patty was more moist and I would repurchase. The price was a little steep though. The pineapple ginger juice I could have purchased by the gallon! The service was great! The two women greeted me and made me feel like a valued customer even though it was my first time.

Great spin on Caribbean classics! Spicy beef is my favorite and the owner is very knowledgeable and friendly!

Puff's is a well needed spot in the community. It is conveniently located near public transportation. A delicious variety of patties and snacks to full fill your appetite. My favorite is the Loaded. Absolutely Delicious

Great place for reasonably priced grab and go lunch. It's a bit small and cramped but service is fast and friendly. The patties are stuffed full and large. Most are $4. I got the jerk chicken and veggie patties and they're delicious! I also got the pineapple ginger juice (large is $6 and small is $4). I'm glad this is in the neighborhood and I'm looking forward to trying what else is on the menu.

Delicious patties and friendly customer service..an anomaly when it comes to West Indian spots I know...lol...but surprisingly Puffs serves up yummy, fresh patties with a smile.

Finally a GOOD! patty I can enjoy..Love this place it's my go-to for sure..Always hot and soft and tasty..Don't not give "Puff Patties" a try because if you love a good patty you are missing out..

Patties great! Customer service? Stank attitude. If you give off "I hate my job" vibes why ruin the experience.

Listen, 5 stars alone on the ambience and the attitude! Small shop but the lady in the front is soooo sweet, great spirit and amazing attitude. Wanted to buy more just cause she was so happy and pretty! The food is good af too! Goodness. It was worth the drive from Mill Basin. Oh the pineapple ginger juice is fire too!

First of all great location! Right in front of a busy bus stop. Nice to have another choice besides bodega snacks. First visit, I admit iwas quick, I was waiting for the bus. I scanned an ackee empanada and a curry chicken and barbecue chicken patty. They looked nice and fat. The real star of the show is the curry chicken patty. The runner up is the jerk chicken patty. Not annoyingly spiced because it's jerk seasoned but nice and friendly. It sneaks behind you and says hello. I visited again and the curry chicken patty was out! The word is out! Nice! However the ackee and barbecue chicken Pattie's needs some tweaking. The barbecue sauce overpowered the chicken with its sweetened sauce and the ackee was a nice try. I look forward seeing this store grow they're in a great neighborhood to do so and In front of a bus stop. Nothing wrong with getting a snack while waiting for the bus!

The patties are delicious! I usually get the ackee or curry chicken. You have to get there early though because they sell out fast. There are also other things to get on the menu. The workers are very friendly.

Great customer service, clean environment, and quick service. My husband and I got a beef patty and cocoa bread, a veggie, and mild beef patty. The coco bread is so soft! The filling in the beef and veggie patty are so flavorful. The crust was nice and flaky. I would definitely recommend!

First of all I hate giving bad reviews because I'm all about positive vibes. However I was so excited to try this place out being that it always constantly showing up on my Instagram. I decided to take my daughter with me whom is 14 years old and she was excited as well until the lady at the register had us waiting unnecessarily while she restocked items and served other customer. After having us wait long for our food which was the Mac & oxtail loaded pattie and the pizza pattie along with the ackee and saw fish empanada, and a small pineapple and ginger drink she had the audacity to come ask me was my child special needs and how her nephew is too however her child is normal. She then tried to clean it up by saying people with special needs are so smart and shared a joke about something her nephew said about his mom. Honestly it was offensive to my kid she was embarrassed and immediately turned her back to her. There was no need to say any of those things at all and my experience here was definitely ruined by the long wait and definitely the special needs comment. As a business unless I shared this information there was no need for her to get personal and upset my kid or me by the experience. Honestly I would NEVER COME BACK HERE yet alone spend my hard earned money where this business doesn't understand boundaries she over stepped hers. Hopefully
