"Part of 16” on Center’s Pilsen entertainment complex inside Thalia Hall, Punch House is the basement tavern with food and drink from Mariscos San Pedro. The Mexican bites are stellar and the cocktails are fun." - Ashok Selvam
"This Pilsen spot is offering “pay what you can” family meal pickup (with things like lasagna and garlic bread, or patty melts) to help industry employees and anyone struggling - people just pay what they can. They’re accepting donations by phone at 312-526-3851." - adrian kane
"Pilsen’s Thalia Hall is a great indoor concert venue, but their adjoining bar, Tack Room, is also handy if you don't want to worry about paying for tickets. Tack Room’s outdoor summer series, Kickin’ It Curbside, has a wide range of piano-focused sets featuring artists performing original songs and even audience requests, all of which you can enjoy from their outdoor patio. Their regular menu has food like cheeseburgers, mussels, and wings. Click here for their performance calendar." - john ringor
"We love seeing concerts at Pilsen’s Thalia Hall. But when we want a low-key place where we can also grab some food, its adjacent piano bar, Tack Room, is the perfect spot. Most of their performances are solo piano, but occasionally they’ll have singers or a salsa trio when they open up their patio space during the summer. It’s small, but the candlelit space makes it perfect for a date night or anytime you want to be serenaded while you sip on a cocktail and eat a cheeseburger." - john ringor, nick allen
"Punch House has rolled out a new menu featuring playful and refreshing bites such as a tuna tostada, a Mexican-style shrimp cocktail, and a duck carnitas taco with date puree. The menu is a preview of what to expect at the upcoming restaurant from the team behind Taqueria Chingon and Obelix." - Ashok Selvam
