Waiting time is extremely long, when Rader is made to to go they always said 30 minutes you and up waiting another 30 minutes so basically an hour it doesn’t matter what you order it takes about an hour long.

I went during my lunch break to try the pupusas. We waiting for 50 mins and they still did not serve us the food. We ask if we can just take the food to go and they said that they will have to cancel our order since the food was not ready yet. They could not provide a reason why I food was still not ready. I will not be coming back since it takes more than an hour just to get the food prepared, and it was really hot in there.

This is a 5 star establishment! Food is made FRESH every single day. Customer service is always amazing. The food is authentic and delicious. The horchata is great if you’re into that. People are giving this place a one star reviews because the wait time for FRESH food is somewhat long. But if it weren’t fresh then they would complain about that. Can’t ever satisfy people. Pricing is fair for the quality and service you get. Highly recommend

Papusas were delicious! The fried yuca was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. So good!

Food was delicious and we didn't have to wait a long time for it. They were friendly and very attentive with the customers, I will definitely be coming back here to try other dishes.

The breakfast was good but the pupusa i ordered had very little chicharrón. I also ordered the chicken soup to go and that had good flavor but was a bit too salty. The service was good and they had a singer performing on a Saturday morning.

If you have places to be dont eat here cause they make there food FRESH! I love it here personally my favorite spot.

My to go spot for Authentic Salvadoran cuisine. Pupusas are always nice and hot and come with their curtido and salsa . The only thing that I dislike is that they do take a very long time for dine-in . So what I tend to do is call in my order ahead of time and let them know it’s for dine in . Customer service is 7 out of 10, not so bad since they are typically always busy and limited amount to waiters . Overall I recommend since the food is great.

Está sabroso pero tienes que ordenar 1 hora antes de llegar , hasta para pedir para llevar , te dicen un tiempo y aún así te hace esperar más , pero vale la pena si no tienes cosas que hacer

Siempre dan los órdenes equivocadas y se les llama y que no pueden hacer nada por eso viven cambiando el personal porque no sirven y las cobran como el cliente pide !! Ladrones descarados

Rica la comida pero mucha la espera. Una hora para 9 pupusas mixtas. Otra cosa. Traigan su propio curtido y salsa.

Me and my family went to try it out for the first time, to cut it short the food and service was HORRIBLE. We ordered panes con pollo and although the chicken was tasty the bread tasted old, then we ordered some pupusas (which took very long) that were pretty much raw, we asked for our money back or for them to at least change the pupusas but they just denied the request. Horrible experience wouldn't recommend going at all.

Pésimo servicio.. Mi orden se tardaron mucho y no estaba lleno, al final tuve que regresar porque no estaba completa la orden.

The service is HORRIBLE... the time it takes to get our food is RIDICULOUS! (30+ minutes!!) The food is EXTREMELY SALTY!! The pupusas were "ok"... but DEFINITELY NOT worth a 30+ minute wait!!! Do not waste your time coming here.... it be better to wait for a table at a place that HAS BETTER SERVICE and WAAAAY better food! In my HONEST opinion... #Garbage We also had to ASK for the cortido (the cabbage stuff... nor sure if I spelled it right!) Like whyyyy would someone have to ASK for it!? I'm sure they won't last long.... at all!

Food is delicious. we buy the pupusas but lately I don't if owners changed but the pupusas are a bit greasier than before. They are still good.

Terrible service. Ordered with 3 days of anticipation and still didn't have order ready. Told to wait for 5 minutes that turned into 20. Customers in and out and we're still waiting. What's the point of ordering ahead. Servicio lento y terrible. Si quiere que lo traten como que si le están haciendo favor y como que si están regalando comida venga acá. No recomiendo.

We visited Restaurant Y Pupuseria Olocuilta on several occasions. The food here is always delicious. My recommendation as you read this review is to call and place your order because they get super busy. Patience is key when you visit this restaurant. The food is always cooked to perfection. We have enjoyed: - Ensalada de frutas (drink) - Pupusas Mixto - Churrasco If you enjoy Salvadorian food, stop by this location. Parking is limited. Don't forget to call ahead as they make everything to order.

No saben hacer pupusas, compre de arroz y me salieron " literalmente de arroz " no traían nada por dentro más que una miseria, los que sabemos de pupusas saben a lo que me refiero. Espero la administración lea este comentario y hagan algo. 16- octubre 2021 8:45 pm

We came here to try the pupusas. My husband from Venezuela is now saying that he loves pupusas more than arepas hahaha They are a small hole in the wall They need better ventilation the smoke is a bit much But to experience the food of El Salvador there is nothing better !!!

The pupusas are delicious and they offer friendly service. We will definitely be back!! They gave us plenty of salsa and curtido.The only thing I can say is that you will miss the place if it's night outside.

I ordered 2 pupusas and an order of empanadas at 1:08 pm. It is now 1:51 and I'm still waiting. Seen people come in, order, and get there food and leave in this time. This is unacceptable. I'd have already asked for my money back if I'm not also picking up for my co workers.

first time here, we have been waiting for an hour. we order pupusas and chicken nuggets, people that came after us got served first. not a good service for the first time.

I've eaten many pupusas in my life, never have I eaten a greasier meal than the pupusas here. Yes they are large in size, however, once you cut into them they unleash an ocean of grease. I think I need a stomach pump and some high blood pressure medicine after eating here.

Horrible service. Employees are extremely rude. They seem to not want to take your order and it's a very long wait for the food.

This place takes forever to have your food ready. Called and placed an order and they said 45 minutes. I got there right when my food was supposed to be ready and I still waited 30 minutes!!! Their food is good but their waiting time is ridiculous . Last time going to that place!

Long wait Like every Pupuseria it takes time to make pupusas these aren't tacos, pupusas take love and time. This place has legit pupusas. We tried the empanadas, chicharon con yucca, rice and regular pupusas everything was good. The drinks were excellent. I live in SW Houston but I will be coming back.

This shows how bad the service is at this restaurant. The customer service is trash. I asked for a to go order and they included TIP. How can a restaurant charge TIP when it's a take out order. I have always gone to this place and have supported this small family owned restaurant and every time I have gone the pupusa's have been 1.99$ + tax then all of a sudden they are raised to $2.50 and the price isn't changed on the menu?! That's not right. That's not how you treat people during this pandemic everyone is suffering and it's not right to treat customers this way. The lady even tried to deny me service due to the fact that I was asking for a menu that showed the price. Never in my life have I been treated this way and belittle. I was screamed at inside the restaurant by the server. When I got into the car I looked at my receipt and noticed that the price of the pupusa were not changed but TIP was charged. Bad customer service and not a way to steal from someone. This is theft and it's not right to secretly put that extra service of close to 15% when I'm doing a take out order. Not supporting this business anymore.

I ordered at 2pm. They told me 35 mins. I come in and to pick up my order and they tell me 20 more mins. I wait and come back in and they said they forgot about my order and they dont have what I wanted/paid for. Horrible service.

One of the best places to eat! Food does take forever but thats because everything is made to order! Food is never cold! Be warned the soups take an hour it seems to get to the table! We usually call it in before arriving!

Dinky place, sticky floors, bad service. You would think it would be made up for with their food but no it was terrible. They messed a part of my order and then brought the other part out cold.

So good! The chicken and cheese pupusas were stuffed with the goods. Also the fried plantains with black beans y crema were a good mix of sweet and salty. Definitely a hidden gem in soho

These pupusas go so hard best thing to do is order a head of time just because they take awhile to make. They would rather you order ahead of time because it's easier that way your food is done in a good amount of time. Great place!

Pupusas here are so good, friend brought me here because I was craving some and I was not disappointed. The wait was a bit longer than expected but food was fresh.

I searched yelp for a good Pupuseria restaurant and this one showed good reviews and I was disappointed, the Pupusas was below average, the carne asada plate was not ok. Not going back.

Mixto pupusas are the bomb! Although it's very crowded inside with very little a.c.! And also no parking outside, over all the food is amazing especially their churrasco.

La comida es rica, el lugar muy sencillo y aveces hasta sucio como por ejemplo mesas sin limpiar y piso sucio. El servicio es un poco malo, las personas muy poco amables lo cual es lamentable porque los Salvadoreños somos caracterizados por see gente amigables . Seria bueno que por lo menos te saludaran cuando llegan a atenderte y sentirte bienvenido.

This place is the bomb.com! I eat here every single time I am in town and sometimes twice if I am here for more then 2 days. The pupusa mixta is so freaking good.

We had mixed feelings about trying out something new, especially driving by and seeing how small the location was. Nonetheless we stopped, and to top things off, every table was filled except that there was no food on any table. Despite what we saw, we persevered and sat down. After patiently waiting for like fifteen minutes, food started coming out and boy were we glad we stayed. Please keep in mind Salvadoran food is not like Mexican, spicy is nonexistent and if you need some hotness, they do have tobasco. When my plate arrived (churasco plate) I was really impressed with the flavors, the rice and beans had creole-ish soul type spices that really impressed us. The plate came with a chicken popusa that was the best I have had ever had, and fajita steak with charred chorizo. The fermented cabbage blended well with the richness of the pupusas. We had even joked about leaving the car running in case we had to turn around and walk out, boy were we ever wrong! Do yourself a favor and try this place out, you will not regret it.
