Came for a friend’s birthday after seeing great reviews. When we arrived, we were the only group there. The space is cute, and we found parking easily. The host was friendly and even took a few photos for us, which we appreciated.
Prior to the visit, we received an email outlining what the tasting would include, but the actual experience didn’t quite deliver. The host brought out the food and wine, gave a quick explanation of the wine type and its brunch pairing—which was nice, but very surface-level. The presentation lasted about seven minutes. There was no mention of the wine’s origin, how it was made, the vineyard, or the story behind the brand.
Aside from the initial intro and one water refill, there was little to no interaction during the tasting. No one checked in to see what we thought of the wines or pairings, and we weren’t offered the chance to purchase bottles at the end, which felt like a missed opportunity.
Overall, the experience felt underwhelming, though the space and concept have great potential. Maybe we caught them on an off day, but I left feeling like I didn’t learn anything or walk away with a better understanding of the wines or brand.
