Authentic Thai food. After living in Thailand for 7 years, I cannot stop looking for real Thai food to enjoy this firework of tastes. Most of them are just an imitation of Thai food. But this one is a real gem. If you are looking for authentic Thai food, this place is a must-visit. I will definitely be coming back!

Pure Thai Cookhouse is the one of the best restaurant in NYC. They represent authentic thai test with good vibe. The noodles are superb and variety choices for us! We love to recommend for now a grilled giant squid (special menu) for appetizer, it's so yummy with amazing sauce! Staff are friendly with service mind. Can't wait to be back again!

Had a great experience at this Thai restaurant! The flavors were vibrant, fresh, and truly authentic—definitely some of the best Thai food I've had in a while. The service was attentive, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. My only small critique is that the portion sizes could be a bit bigger, especially for the price. Overall, still an excellent dining experience, and I'll definitely be back!

One of my favorite dish at PURE THAI COOK HOUSE is Dry noodle (ratchabuti Dry noodle) !! This is amazing and it reminds me when I was in Thailand! This place has so many authentic dishes as well as Larb Duck that also taste like in Thailand!!!! Service was great! Can’t wait to be back to try more dishes!!!

This place never fails to deliver quality Thai food. Honestly, Pure Thai Cookhouse is one of the best Thai spots in the city. My only gripe is that I wish they served their dishes a bit spicier, but overall, it’s always a great experience.

Wok basil is super duper good. Savory, with the aroma of green and red pepper, it goes well with rice. Crab fried rice is also amazing. Also a warning to those who haven’t tried Pad Thai before: they got authentic Pad Thai and it is VERY sweet, so don’t order it unless you like sweetness

This place has really good thai food! Plus service is so friendly and attentive. And i love the vibes, super cozy. My friend and I shared the mixed appetizer, duck soup and pork and crab noodles. I think my favorite was the pork and crab noods. This restaurant is known for their noodles btw!

Came here for lunch and ordered one of the specials (not sure if it's still on the menu as they seem to rotate some items). I ordered the Khao Khao Moo, which is a slow braised pork leg dish. It was very delicious and the meat was tender. The dish had more of a Chinese flavor, but I wanted to try something you don't see at every Thai restaurant. While it was tasty, nothing about it in particular stood out. However, service was definitely 5 stars. My friends were seated before I got there and ordered for me. The food happened to come out quickly and they were nice enough to try to reheat my food when I arrived. Staff was very attentive as well! They have lots of noodle soup options, so may come back to try in the future if I'm around the area.

Alongside Thai Villa, Pure Thai Cookhouse is arguably one of the best if not the best Thai restaurant in NYC. Food is authentic and fresh. My go to dish here is the crab noodle dish. But honestly, you can't go wrong with the others either! Taste: 5/5 Service: 3.5/5 Ambiance: 3.5/5 Value for money: 4/5

Me another thai spot. This place was super cute and cozy. Felt hole in the wall but it's really not! Came here for a team dinner and the flavors in our dishes did not disappoint. although narrow layout, we were seated well and dishes were piping hot out of the kitchen. everything was delicious and I would definitely go back if in the area.

3 star food, 5 star service. We got the green curry beef, root vegetable puffs, and sukhothai pork dry soup. The green curry was our least favorite. Not good. Too liquidy of curry and it could've been a little thicker. The pork sukhothai was good. Fresh. The noodles were tasty. The root vegetable puff was my favorite. I love the sweet potato inside and the sauce was the most delectable thing I've tasted in a bit. A really sweet sauce. Service was tremendous. Such friendly faces and they sat us down with no reservation within 2 minutes. Really appreciate how well they took care of us. Food was about $20 for entrees. I just wish the quality had been better and more jaw dropping like Thai food normally is.

Pure Thai Cookhouse has incredible food, *wow* was it outstanding. Service was pretty good considering how packed they were; because the food is so darn good. Ambiance could've been better: we we're essentially eating from a little 9" shelf against the wall. I will go back to PTC when they're less busy [ I wonder of that ever happens :) on account of the food being so delicious ] so I could sit at at table with our group.

The food here is really great, and there are plenty of uncommon dishes on the menu. For appetizers, we had vegetable dumplings, curry puffs, and spring rolls. The vegetable dumplings were my favorite due to the peanut in the filling, which added some nice dimension. The spring rolls were nice and crispy, and the curry puffs were flaky and spicy. The curry was absolutely delicious. Packed with vegetables and plenty of tofu, and a creamy, herbaceous, and spicy base. It comes with jasmine rice on the side as well. Overall, the meal wasn't terribly expensive either - for six people splitting the appetizers and each getting an entree, the meal worked out to about $35 per person. This restaurant is certainly worth a visit.

It's been over 7 years since we last came here and the food has stayed the same or gotten better! We came early, right when they opened at 11:30am and didn't have to wait, which was fantastic. The lines could get pretty long based on our old, previous experiences. The flavors of the dishes were all good. I can't find any fault with the dishes. Note that the spice level is for real here. There are menu items that say they don't give refunds or changes if a dish is too spicy (and they warned you). That red sauce accompanying the Pa Yao Beef Noodle is small but really mighty.

If you are looking for authentic Thai food that is also very affordable, this is the perfect place! Everything we ordered - the crab fried rice, pad Thai, and the pork wok curry paste, super duper delicious!!! The service is also superb. Super friendly staff too. And the ambiance is so cozy and inviting. The interior is instagrammable too.

I recently dined at Pure Thai Cookhouse near 50th Street and it was a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, and the food was top-notch. I ordered the green curry, which was amazing, and the fried rice was also quite good. Overall, everything was delicious, and I can't wait to recommend this place. Pure Thai Cookhouse is a great spot for delicious Thai food and attentive service.

This bustling lowkey Thai eatery in Hell's Kitchen is busy for a reason! It is very casual with metal chairs and small tables, and doesn't have much in terms of decor, but the food is amazing. It is really cramped, so not the best place for a leisurely dinner, but rather a quick meal with friends or on your own. I came in a group of 4 and we ordered: -Special Pork Belly with rice and fried egg (delicious! Had well seasoned and juicy pork belly pieces sautéed with veggies. The runny fried egg was a nice touch. Best dish of the night!) -Pad Kee Mao w Chicken (not too spicy but good flavor and chewy noodles with lots of chicken) -Pad See Ew w Beef (a classic- but had a good brown sauce with chewy noodles. Beef was a bit tough) -Larb Duck (insanely flavorful and delicious w the lettuce wraps) -Singha Thai beer (cold and drinkable, went well with balancing the flavors of Thai food) Overall, everything was really delicious and portions are super generous- the 3 mains + 1 app and 4 beers was perfect for 4 people. Service is fine, they definitely rush you a bit to turn over tables.

Cute interior. Their menu has a lot of items on it that other thai places don't have. My friend suggested this spot because her friend told her it's pretty authentic. I was really intrigued and would definitely come back to try other items. Staff is pleasant. They refilled my friend and I's water even after we paid the bill. Despite the number of thai restaurants all over the city this is one I'd revisit. 3.5/5 Pa-yao beef noodle soup - I was really curious about the galangal pandan broth for this soup. I didn't taste either of them strongly but the broth was still very flavorful and this was a good bowl of beef noodle soup.

The pork and crab dry noodles don't look it, but they are packed with flavor. I absolutely love this place and have never had this Thai dish anywhere else. Service is great and the space is clean and cute.

I've eaten here many times, especially alone because they have a nice ledge for solo diners. The food is always spectacular and comes out quick! It is Hell's Kitchen so don't expect the cheapest prices, but the quality of the food is very good. I love their noodle dishes and today I tried their fried rice. They put lots of lump crab meat and the rice was flavored very nicely. I recommend the papaya salad. It has the best fishy sauce with a spice that can be adjusted to mild if you like. They put peanuts and dry shrimps which add a nice crunchy texture to the cold zesty salad. The service is good too. They check in on you often. The inside is very narrow but they have two sides of the restaurant, so don't be fooled from the exterior!

Came for lunch on our last day in New York and it did not disappoint. Great food and service!

We came here recently for dinner, and it was fairly packed for a Thursday night. Service was still fast, so appreciated that. The food was just ok. The chicken satay buns were good; chicken had good flavor, and bun was soft and tender. The Wok Curry Paste With Pork was pretty average. Not super flavorful, pork wasn't super tender, and the string beans were basically not cooked so the texture was way too crunchy. I didn't try what other people in my party had, but they also felt like the food was just alright. A decent spot to hit if you want a quick easy meal, but don't expect amazing food!

It's a bit of a squeeze inside the restaurant but this is a great place to get your Thai food fix. I recommend the papaya salad and the chicken wings to start. Both are delicious. Tried a few of their noodles and those are very flavorful so can't go wrong with any.

Every time I pass by this restaurant, there's always a huge line so I was very excited to finally try this place out. Made a reservation beforehand and was surprised there weren't many people here on a weekend, I guess it's a weekday spot. I ordered the Nakorn-Patom Duck Noodles Soup which is not something I would order usually but this dish was pretty good. Although this isn't my favorite way to eat duck, I appreciate how flavorful the soup was as well as all the different type of ingredients they put in the dish. I especially loved how the water spinach soaked up all the broth. Next time I come, I will try their dry noodles which seems more popular on Yelp. Not a bad place to get quick lunch at all! Would definitely come back but always with a reservation.

We had a great experience here. The food and service were fantastic. Only a few blocks from the same old restaurants you have in every American town there are some hidden gems. This is one of them.

cute small thai restaurant. a few tables are in the restaurant but it's not really set up for long dining because chairs are small and kinda uncomfortable. the service was good and friendly . I ordered the pad see ew with tofu which was good. the tofu was steamed, I like that better than fried. the noodles were really soft, not sure if they are made in house. the flavor was good but it tasted like a flavor element was missing. maybe salt?

We had a quick walk here after a visit to the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. We were seated immediately in a quaint side room accessible from a unique hallway. Small and cozy ambience, decorated for the holidays. The room bustled as more people arrived and our food arrived quickly. The chicken satay buns were a 10/10, the pad thai was a 10/10, and the ice cream was a 10/10. A peanut lover's dream. Even down to the crushed ice & lemon slice in our Diet Cokes, this place was perfect!

Coworker recommended this cute Thai place, and she said this is one of the best in the area. After a first testing, I can see why would she say so. Tried their flat noodles with duck meat, the soup was particularly delicious!! The soup has just the right amount of noodles and meat. Would recommend！

Made a reservation for 6 pm on a Monday night through open table. This place is located in Hell's Kitchen area, so it's safe to walk around in the streets with your group. You need to have all party members there to be seated. Once we arrived, we were sat immediately. At first, it seems cramped, but it's like an intricate maze that leads to a larger area. Service was attentive, kind, and efficient since some of my friends had questions about what the staff recommended on what's spicy or good drinks. The pace of the menu was good since we ordered a several side dishes and individual entrees. I got their specialty non-alcoholic drink- pure iced tea. It was a refreshing concoction of mint, cucumber, lime, and jasmine tea. They only had 1 left, so I had to order the last one. Great drink that cleansed my palate from the spice and the oily foods. We got appetizers: tofu, mixed appetizers that came in pairs of spring rolls, root veggie puffs, and steamed veggie dumplings. All of them were great starters with lots of taste fresh vegetables. My main entrees was the pad see ew with calamari. A very memorable flavor profile that was mostly sweet with some bitterness from the vegetables to balance each other out. The consistency of the noodles were soft, elastic, and definitely cooked well. Awesome dinner and venue to go for a date or group

The beau and I walked by and decided to pop in. The place was jumping and they could only seat us at a bar along the wall which was totally fine. We were excited to be in a new Thai place (for us) as we are always in search of good Thai food. This place did not disappoint. The food is outstanding. Just the right spice levels and the dishes were hot and elegantly prepared. Definitely made to order with fresh ingredients. Service was fast and attentive and the place takes up two storefronts so don't be fooled by what looks like a tiny shop from the street. We can't wait to go back and work our way through the menu.

Not bad at all, but I've had better Thai. Found the noodles slightly lacking in flavor, and I don't enjoy just throwing chili oil on things to fix them, but they do offer chili oil. Service is quick, there were tables empty on a Saturday evening (we did reserve a day ahead, though). Thai iced tea is pretty good (not too sweet!)

This is hands down my favorite Thai spot in the city! We were a party of three, and they seated us in the cutest little corner, which was perfect for conversation. The food was incredible--I had the Pad See Ew, and it was absolutely delicious. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and the noodles were cooked to perfection, all topped with the most tender steak. The service was spot-on too--my water was never empty! Can't wait to go back.

Made same day reservations, would definitely especially for dinner as it's a very small place with limited seating. We love coming here for lunch and dinner. This time we started with the wings which were perfectly crispy and came with a delicious Thai chili sauce which we had to ask extra of. The specialty crispy potatoes were also very good. For mains we shared the beef pad see ew, green curry and the crispy pork special. The pork wasn't as crispy as we expected but the beef pad see ew was the star of the show. Definitely give it a try!

Went there tonight for the first and last time. The Pad Thai was soupy and lacked harmonious flavor, also, the portion was small. What really turned me off, however, was me skipping tipping on the handheld credit card reader, because I preferred to leave cash, but before I could do so, the waiter said "You're not leaving a tip?". So tacky, déclassé. I will not be back.

My Bf and I spent the weekend in NYC and decided to visit this restaurant since we were both craving Thai. Safe to say, we both left full and satisfied! We were seated immediately despite how busy it was, and the restaurant itself is very small and cozy. We were sitting very close to another couple, but that did not take away from our dining experience. We ordered a mixed appetizer, which had two spring rolls, root vegetable puffs, and steamed vegetable dumplings. It came with a little sauce tray with 3 sauces to try. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to try out a variety of appetizers. The steamed dumplings were our personal favorite, they had a perfect nutty and sweet flavor. For drinks we went with the specials: watermelon limeade and mango paradise. My watermelon drink tasted refreshing and fresh, I was happy that they use the actual fruit instead of sugary syrup. Our main dishes were great as well. My pork noodles had a hearty broth with many ingredients like tofu, bean sprouts, and pork cracklings. When ordering, the waitress asked me if medium spicy was okay. I agreed, then immediately regretted as she walked away since I don't do well with overly spicy food, especially Thai spice, they do not mess around!! I decided to accept my fate. When I received my dish, it was not as spicy as I thought it would be! The waitress did bring over some spicy sauce that we could add to our dish for more flavor, but I did not try it. We did not end up getting dessert because we were stuffed. Overall, the experience was great. Fast service, wonderful food, and a cozy atmosphere. If we end up in NYC again, we will be back!

Someone told me their family eats here every time they visit the city from LI because it's "the best Thai food in NYC." Although that's an impossible bar to meet, this spot is definitely in the running. It's a no-frills cozy family affair in Hell's Kitchen focused on getting great great food in your belly, fast. The home-taste vibe is strong!

Their noodles were great: boat noodle and pad see ew. I was hunting for a good boat noodle and the photos from other reviews looked legit. Boy, it didn't disappoint. The broth was so flavorful. I would encourage you to try it. The description sounded scary but it wasn't anything crazy. Be careful because it can get quite spicy.

Very good Thai food, good and quick service. Crowded as expected at this type of restaurant. I would come back when next in the neighborhood.

Super reliable place for dinner! Even on a busy Friday night, just called in advance and a 30 min walk later our table was ready. Love the vibe too, super cozy and nice for a dinner with friends. The noodles are all solid, not the best Thai I've ever had but a good meal. The best thing IMO is the sticky rice for dessert! They usually have seasonal flavors like mango or pumpkin custard. Soooooo yum!

Nothing amazing, but an awfully solid pad Thai, for sure. * The crab and pork dry noodle. Husband raved about this, and ate it all himself. * The chicken bao buns. Really loved these -- the chicken was cooked perfectly. I was a little skeptical that the bao would be necessary, but it was a great combination. * Pad kee mao -- I ordered this for myself, wavering on how spicy to get it. "Medium" was perfect -- it was hot, but not at all overpoweringly so. Of all the Thai restaurants in Hells Kitchen (and there are quite a few), this is my favorite so far. Will definitely eat *at* Pure Thai Cookhouse when I get a chance.

Wow, what an amazing Thai restaurant! Super authentic food with top notch service. Their menu provides a great variety of deliciously traditional and seasonal menu items. The ambiance is intimate with ample seating that spans on two sides of the restaurant. Their Pad See Ew with beef was sooooo good. Seasoned perfectly and definitely the real deal.

Food portions are generous. It was a hearty meal for a winter night. Service was fast and friendly staff.

After landing in New York Monday morning and spending the entire day endlessly dragging our suitcases throughout the flooded streets of Manhattan in the pouring rain, we picked the nearest good restaurant to walk to for dinner. We went in and even though the place was pretty small and cramped, they were able to quickly seat us. I think they could tell we weren't having the best of times because we were both drenched. They were super nice and friendly though and even handed us extra napkins to dry ourselves. We decided to go ahead and order our favorite - pad see ew with beef. The noodles were soft and very flavorful, and there was a good amount of veggies to brighten it up. I only wish the dish had some of that smoky char but overall it was a solid pad see ew. My bf even said this pad see ew was better than anything in the South Bay Area. Overall, this place seems cozy and inviting with very chill and friendly staff. The dishes are decently priced, and it's just your no frills restaurant with decently priced good food.

Came on a Friday night for 2 and was seated immediately! The staff was so night and kept checking in on us. Our table and space was a bit tight, but worked with what we got and the staff helped as much as they could to make our experience comfortable. The food itself-- delicious!! Definitely have to try the chicken satay buns and we were lucky that they had the braised beef as a special the day we went because it definitely stole the show. Would love to come back!

Great flavors and generous with proteins, ordered takeout and it held up very well. Food was ready for pickup fairly quickly. Interior is small but cozy, will definitely dine-in in the future.

This place is amazing. We had the best time there and the food was sooo great. I highly recommend the buns. Great snack/appetizer. This was for sure my highlight of the night. This place gets busy, but staff is friendly and it fits the atmosphere.

Great food, 100% on my list when I am in the area. Location: The restaurant itself is pretty small but the vibes are 11/10. The decor has a vintage look to it. I would say this place is not good for big groups, probably a group of four or less would be good for this place. Food: Their food is so good! I am not an expert on true authentic Thai food, but it is definitely one of the best Thai places I have ever been to. I ordered the Ratchaburi crab and pork dry noodles and it was the perfect balance of spices, protein, and carbs. Service: The service here was okay, nothing too special. The food did take a little bit to come out, but nothing too crazy. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone who is in the area.

I only wish there were more authentic Thai restaurantas like this one near me. The noodles are especially fabulous.

The food is very good. Service is great . Wish they have a better table for 2. Is too small to order anything else. Bathroom is too dark and the toilet is low .

I have mixed feelings about this place because the first time I came here it was the best food I've ever had in NYC. The flavors were insane. But then the second time I came, I was not impressed. The flavors weren't as strong for some reason. Will have to come again to make the final verdict

The servings here are tiny and very expensive. The wok tofu can with maybe five cubes of tofu and a flavorless stir fry of wet vegetables with little crisp -- all for a whopping $18. I know prices are high but the services here have shrunk while the prices have gone up. Not going back.

With so many delicious Thai places to choose from in Hell's Kitchen, I thought this place was average. We ordered a crab fried rice and drunken noodles. The vegetables in the drunken noodles could have used a little more flavor but the noodles were soft and delicious. The crab fried rice could have used a little more salt, but after adding the fish sauce dip on the side, it balanced it out. The interiors are much larger than anticipated - they have the front door section that connects to a room on the right. The service was great, the people were very nice.
