"Qima Cafe, a Yemeni cafe in Fitzrovia, is a chic, minimalist spot that makes you feel automatically cool just for being there. It’s a great place to go when you’re hoping to get a fun snack with your coffee. Or in Qima’s case, your matcha fizz or fruity ruby latte. In the morning, it’s often filled with people typing away on their laptops, and friends catching up over a yuzu iced coffee come afternoon." - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

"Mushroom truffle croissant “On a Sunday morning, there’s nowhere I’d rather be than a bakery. But the mushroom truffle croissant at this Yemeni spot in Fitzrovia was so excellent that you’ll probably find me here every day of the week from now on. The béchamel-filled pastry had the perfect balance between creamy, peppery sauce and earthy, meaty mushrooms. I had planned to sit and savour this for at least 30 minutes, but it was gone in less than five.” - RS" - Jake Oliver, Rianne Shlebak, Sinead Cranna
"Why We Rate It: For the huge mug that you’ll still finish We like Qima Cafe’s hot chocolate, not just because of the elaborate milk art, or the fact that the mug needs two hands to grip it. But because it’s not doing too much. It’s not too rich despite the mix of 72% dark chocolate and 70% guanaja blend. The addition of brown sugar gives it a deep sweetness too. We can drink a whole cup—and then some—without being overwhelmed. The Yemeni cafe in Fitzrovia also adds a sprinkle of sea salt which provides a perfect balance." - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna
