"This colorful Vietnamese restaurant opens at 8 a.m. and closes at midnight, meaning diners have all day to enjoy its rich dishes. Indulge in pho, noodle dishes, fried rice, and fried and saucy seafood platters. Don’t leave without trying its specialties, including its classic, savory taro pancakes, which are layered with herbs and peanuts, and the bun suong, an aromatic shrimp noodle soup served with shrimp balls." - Brittany Britto Garley

The restaurant looked well maintained. It was not crowded but also not empty. Came here at 12PM on a Saturday and there were only two groups of customers. There were 4 more group of customers when we left. Most table had either the shrimp garlic noodle or the “Tik Tok Soup” exactly why we came here for. The person taking the order seemed to be the owner. The menu was easy as there are already pictures of the most popular dishes (I assume) from the restaurant. Shrimp & Pork Spring Rolls 5/5 Looked different from the menu but still tasted good Bun Suong Ba Ky (Tik Tok Soup) 4/5 The soup was sweet and tasty. Glad I removed the black oyster sauce otherwise it would have been too sweet. There were 4 shrimp/lobster balls, 1 shrimp, and few pieces of pork. I asked for cooked vegetables and thankfully the bean sprouts were cooked. Unfortunately the leeks tasted raw had to remove them. The rice noodle tasted great but the portion could be slightly more. I enjoyed the soup because it was still warm towards the end. Shrimp Garlic Noodle 3.5/5 This was tasty but I think the garlic flavour can be enhanced. I also think that it would be nicer if the noodles were heated more. They were cold with some sticking together. The shrimps were good but not extraordinary. You can’t go wrong with this dish but it’s not mind blowing.

I’ve been missing Houston’s crawfish so much. Even though it’s not crawfish season right now, I knew the best ones would definitely be at Vietnamese-style restaurants. This time, I found this spot on Yelp, and I was honestly amazed. I didn’t expect to find such plump, fresh crawfish this season, but they were incredibly meaty and had a unique flavor with a hint of herbal spices, which I really enjoyed. Though the location isn’t very prominent, it’s absolutely worth recommending. I devoured 3 pounds of crawfish with ease—it’s that good! I hope more people discover this restaurant.❤️

Tucked away off the beaten path in Houston, Quan Ba Ky is a no-frills Vietnamese restaurant that delivers traditional flavors at an unbeatable value. It’s the kind of place that feels like a homey, Mom-and-Pop operation—complete with worn tables, Vietnamese TV shows playing in the background, and a karaoke machine tucked away in the back. There's something undeniably charming about the unpretentious atmosphere, and honestly, what's not to like? It feels authentic, welcoming, and, most importantly, focused on the food. We visited on an early Saturday evening, and initially, the place was quiet. But as we neared 6-7 PM, the dining room began to fill with a steady stream of Vietnamese patrons, always a good sign that the place is beloved by those who know best. We started with a round of Viet Cajun-style crawfish—a seasonal treat when fresh, but since it was off-season, the crawfish were frozen. Still, they were flavorful, and you could tell they’d be even better if we’d hit them at peak season. The seasoning was on point, with just the right amount of spice and buttery richness, though the crawfish themselves weren’t as tender as they might have been if fresh. No complaints, though—it's clear the place does its best to provide a taste of a regional specialty even when it’s not in full swing. The real standout, however, was the Bún Sườn soup. This dish has been getting attention on social media, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The broth was rich and flavorful, the perfect balance of savory and umami, and it came packed with an assortment of seafood, noodles, and herbs that made every bite exciting. Whether you’re a fan of seafood or just enjoy a hearty bowl of noodle soup, this dish is a must-try. It’s the kind of comforting, satisfying food that makes you want to come back for more. We also decided to try one of their limeade drinks, which was refreshing and tart, making it the ideal pairing with the spicy, seafood-heavy soup. The cool drink provided a nice contrast to the warmth of the broth and helped cleanse the palate between bites. The service was also top-notch. The owner, who served us, was kind and attentive throughout the meal, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring we were well taken care of. There’s something genuinely warm about the experience, which adds to the overall appeal of the place. And the best part? The total bill for two people came to just around $30—an incredible value for the quality and quantity of food we received. In a city full of trendy spots, Quan Ba Ky’s combination of great food, generous portions, and affordable prices is a real standout. If you’re looking for traditional Vietnamese food with a homey feel and a focus on quality, look no further than Quan Ba Ky. It's not flashy or trendy, but it’s authentic, delicious, and an excellent value. Highly recommended!

A few months ago, I was craving bun suong and looked for a place in Houston that served it. I found a different restaurant and tried the other restaurant. It was good but didn't hit the spot. So when I saw a post on instagram about the bun suong at Quan Ba Ky, I knew I wanted to try it. We went for dinner on a Sunday evening. When we arrived, there was one large party with about 8 people and one other couple in the restaurant. No one had food yet. When we arrived, the waiter called out to us and told us to seat ourselves at one of the booths. He was busy making drinks for the other customers. I don't think he had any help. Luckily, each table had 2 menus so we were able to review the menu while we waited. The waiter was very nice and took our food order and suggested nuoc mat (drink) so I ordered it to give it a try. The food took a while to come out. The nuoc mat came out first and it was very sugary and didn't have the flavors we expected but it wasn't bad. It semed like they had coffee jelly in it. I ordered a large bun suong ($14.99) since it was only $1 more than the medium. My husband ordered the pho ga la chan (chicken pho with lemon leaves). We had never had pho ga la chan before. I wasn't sure what to expect but my mother in law seemed to know what it was. She tasted the broth and said it didn't have any of the lemon leaf flavor. Regardless, the pho was very good - not your typical chicken pho flavor, a little sweet, but very good. I would definitely go there for that dish again. As i mentioned earlier, when I had the bun suong at the other place, it was good but it wasn't really what I was looking for. As soon as I had a spoon of this broth, it was exactly what I was looking for. The shrimp balls were very flavorful and nice and chewy. The portion size was good. I ended up needing a to-go container for most of it. Atmosphere - typical VN restaurant. It was clean but not very aesthetic. Service - slow but the waiter was very nice and seemed to do as bst he could by himself. Food - was really good and we will definitely be back.

Oh my goodness!! I am a pho lover & late night always get me! But this place here is top notch. Flavors 10/10 I got the B1 combination with lobster, shrimp and more 🔥😍. I will definitely come back. Environment is clean and homey! Also fast service 🙌🏽

We were looking to try a new place for fathers day and really found a gem. We had; Garlic Shrimp, Beef Tenderloin, Salmon Steak all served over garlic noodles, which in and of themselves were absolutely wonderful. I would come back just for the noodles. We also had Beef Fried Rice. My wife had the Shrimp Soup, not sure what the actual name is but it was excellent. The gentleman who waited on us, Andrew, was very informative and funny. We had a great time.

“The food here is amazing! The pho and spring rolls were very good and crisp. The tom mi toi, flavored with perfection—— so tasty. Great service and authentic flavors—highly recommend!”

I wanted to give this spot a try since I saw it on Instagram and the dishes looked absolutely delicious. My boyfriend and I came in on a Sunday night so we were seated right away. We decided to order what the guy on instagram ordered which included the Cha Gio Tom Thit (Shrimp and Pork Eggrolls), Bun Suong Ba Ky (Suong Noodles), Tom Mi Toi (Shrimp Garlic Noodles- the guy on instagram ordered the lobster but I’m not balling like that yet lol), and the Taro Cake. The eggrolls came out first and I have to say, although I didn’t exactly love the taste of the pork filling, the exterior was exceptionally crunchy. This ended up being my boyfriend’s favorite dish of the night. Next up, we had the Shrimp Garlic Noodles. The dish leaned more towards the sweeter side and the shrimp was delicious but it cost $20 which is pretty darn steep for some noodles. I would probably skip this dish the next time I come visit. My favorite was the Suong Noodles. The soup was light yet flavorful, there were plenty of toppings, and the noodles were cooked well. The shrimp ball topping was my absolute favorite as they were savory and had that bouncy texture. I will come back just to eat this. Last but not least, the Taro Cake! This is a classic Vietnamese dish and it reminded me of when I’d visit my Vietnamese friend’s house and her mother would cook this. It was perfectly fried and paired with the dipping sauce, it was a savory & delightful experience. Overall I’d give this spot a 4.5/5. The food was great, the service was fine and I’d totally come back to try new dishes! Note: If you have a peanut allergy, I would definitely let the staff know and be cautious because this restaurant uses a lot of peanuts in their dishes.

Yelp
If you're wanting authentic Vietnamese cuisine, look no further! We came here to try the noodle soup dish (Bun suong ba ky)! It was all the rave! The noodles were tender, the seafood was juicy and the soup was so flavorful and soothing ! This bowl was everything you'd want even on a warmer day like the one when we visited. The lemongrass limeade is also a MUST! do not sleep on this! The initial flavor can be shocking with the lime flavor but as you drink more, the sweetness from the coconut comes through mellowing out the sour tart lime flavor. The crawfish was also delicious! We got it over Cajun style and compared to other places we visited it was so much cheaper ! However the quality was not reflective of the price. Whom I assume was the owner was so nice as well! While he may not have greeted right away, when he came over he began talking to us & took great care of us throughout our visit! Will visit again if I am in the area

Yelp
Foodie place! Ordered the B1. aka. "Tik Tok Soup" filled with lobster, shrimp, and pork for flavoring. Loaded with bean sprouts, Thai basil, Chinese lettuce, and more. Ate as much as I could and still had a quart of noodle soup left with shrimp and lobster. Really amazing. Also ordered the winter melon drink which is in season now and not on the menu. Not too sweet and refreshing. We also had garlic noodles with shrimp. Simply just that good. Andrew explained that it can come with brisket, lobster, or beef. Looking forward to the new flavors that will crate with the noodles. But seriously- those garlic noodles stack up to win with the foodie crowd. Don't miss these.

Yelp
If you are looking for an authentic Vietnamese cuisine this is the one. The Bon Suong ( a clear noodle soup) was bursting with veggies (spring onion, cabbage) creating a complex savory flavor with the lobster and shrimp. Except Bon Suong, G2- Garlic Shrimp noodle is another mouthwatering dish which all foodie must try.

Crystal John K.

Yelp
Live crawfish is here. Food is great. Service is good. You must get the garlic noodles here. Egg rolls are good here too.

Danny L.

Yelp
No frills - just good Vietnamese cuisine. Order their top three dishes and you won't be disappointed (Bún Suông, Garlic Noodle Shrimp, and Bò Lúc Lắc). The Bún Suông reminded me of something my aunt would make at home. I'm not an expert at this, but I believe it's a rice noodle soup with a pork/shrimp base, typically with shrimp meatballs or shrimp formed sausages. Like most Vietnamese noodle soup dishes, it comes with an assortment of fresh greens/herbs, lime, and jalapeño slices. As usual, I add everything in there because I love the diverse explosion of flavors and textures. The jalapeños that I added delightfully turned the soup into an addictive burning concoction. The garlic noodle shrimp is such a simple, yet delicious basic dish. Noodles have a prominent garlic and butter flavor that goes well with the seasoned shrimp. The only aspect that people may have a preference on is that the noodle resembles the same texture as the instant variety. The Bò Lúc Lắc was good, but I felt like the protein was a bit lacking. Not surprised though, as most restaurants skimp on the serving of this to save on cost. Flavors are good and I would still recommend if you are willing to accept for the lower value in protein. There is also a slight sweetness to this dish, which some people may not prefer. The interior looks like an evolution of a long running business (though I think it used to be something else). Based on the slanted floor on one area of the room and different style of roof in the front, you can tell they expanded at one point. Decoration is ocean theme I think. Nothing high end but suitable accommodation for a sit down meal. Service was ok. The owner/waiter was friendly at the beginning but that tapered off towards the middle. I'm not expecting anything beyond a person taking my order, bringing us our food/check, so didn't bother me. Overall, the food is good and service is ok. It's not over the top and I am inclined to dine here again for the same dishes.

Angelina C.

Yelp
Service was very odd. Our server kept giving us things we didn't order/neglected to check in on us despite the restaurant being empty! She also pushed us quite a bit to order specific items. We had to fix our drink issue 3x. The garlic noodles were more on the sweet side, and I wish there was more of a garlic taste given the dish's name. Banh bot chien was great and very crispy! Would actually eat that again. Bun suong was very overhyped... I was looking forward to it, but it was very bland!! :( Food looked wonderful, but the taste did not live up to the expectations. Not sure if it was just an off day when I went.

Kasey Z.

Yelp
This was my first time trying bun suong and it did not disappoint! The soup was packed with shrimp, shrimp balls, vietnamese ham, and paired so deliciously with the pickled jalapeños and chili oil they had. The garlic noodles were also soo incredibly flavorful and the beef was nice and tender. The banh bot chien aka taro cakes were also super delicious!! The service was really fast and was not busy when we went. The place also has plenty of seating. My favorite thing about this place is also the fact that they are open until midnight, so it is perfect for a late night meal.

Brandon D.

Yelp
I got to Houston late at around 10:30 pm and was looking for late night places in Bellaire to eat dinner at. It was a weekend so there weren't many restaurants open at all. It was just Korean bar food places or family style Chinese restaurants. However, I found this Vietnamese place down the road. They seem to specialize in bun suong, which I've seen many other reviewers have been eating, so I decided to try it as well. This is not a common soup you usually see at restaurants. The place was mostly empty since it is late night but there were other people eating there too, as well as many who came to pick up food. I can definitely see why this is their most popular dish. They give you a TON of meat here, no skimping at all. You get a bunch of shrimp meat paste, pork slices, and shrimp. I love the peanuts and crispy onions they add that provide some crunch. They also include some chili sate and hoisin sauce to season the broths which already tastes amazing. It wasn't too spicy though so I added some more chili sate they had available on the side. They also provide both raw and pickled jalapeños and a veggie plate. This place and soup is definitely a must try, it is so flavorful

Yelp
I was in the mood to try something different for a lunch meeting with a friend. I saw the good reviews and thought I'd give it a chance. I had B1, a seafood noodle soup. About $15. Delicious. We also had some pork and shrimp egg rolls I think? I wasn't paying attention, but they were amazing. The food all came out quick and hot. Our server was friendly and very helpful. While the place doesn't look like much from the outside, it's clean and very welcoming inside. Overall, I'm happy and left full. Looking forward to coming back and trying some other stuff!

Don N.

Yelp
Tried this place a couple times and it was bland both times. Service is also absolutely horrible and it will be the last time we go here. Not only that but they charged us more than the prices shown on the menu.

Unaiza P.

Yelp
Very fresh shrimp, my guess is that the other seafood is also very fresh. They were also very generous with the portion. Quick and efficient service, ordered for to go and was in and out within 10 minutes. Fairly priced as well. I also ordered a lemongrass limeade, not pictured but it was super duper refreshing. All in all stellar experience, looking forward to eating inside next time!!!

Dee D.

Yelp
I went here specifically for the garlic noodles that I saw online. They didn't disappoint. I ended up adding extra sauce to them and they were perfect. The lemongrass lime aid was so refreshing. Service was great. Food came so fast. There are many places that are restaurants in the same parking lot. I had to use the photos from yelp to find this one

Monique T.

Yelp
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I'm a sucker for sweet and tangy flavors and this really hit the spot!!! The juices (healthy drinks) are delicious and fragrant (I looooove both kumquat and coconut but have never seen the flavors paired) and the lemongrass kumquat is almost a bit savory. Soooo delicious. The lobster was perfectly cooked lobster was saturated in flavor even though gravy is light- and the noodles were perfectly garlicky. Finger licking good!!! The crawfish and shrimp were great too. Definitely make a stop in the area. We traveled about 45 min and it was worth it. Surprised there wasn't a long wait at all! Definitely great for takeout as well.

Ben T.

Yelp
We came on a Friday morning and it was not very busy. The decor is a mix of old school viet restaurant with a crab shack. The food was excellent! The bun had huge pieces of juicy shrimp patty and it was very flavorful. The garlic noodles were surprisingly super tasty as well. The bot chien was crispy and delicious. Lastly, the lemongrass lemonade was super refreshing! Overall, great dining experience!

Thomas B.

Yelp
Upon entering there was only two table at dinner time. We took our time to look at the menu and placed our order. The server brought three waters and went on his way. We had to ask a second time for the reminding iced tea and water. The server was slow to bring out our food. He brought it out just carrying two items at a time rather than using a tray to bring out multiple items. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet which was rather disappointing. The broth was salty and the meat was tough. For a Special pho it was missing tendon and tripe. Not to mention I had asked for the pho without onions, but when it arrived at the table it was loaded with onions. We also ordered egg roll and that was a big mistake. They were really oily and the meat in the egg rolls taste as it had gone bad. Needless to say it will be the one and only time I visit this establishment.

Bryan V.

Yelp
Now this is a hidden gem that I'm surprised I haven't visited sooner... I came to try their bun suong because the photos looked so good. It was wonderful! The broth was so flavorful and comforting. There were so many toppings... talk about a filling meal! There was shrimp balls, shrimp, peanuts, cha lua, and fried shallots. Add some of their pickled jalapeños and chili oil and you have a bowl of perfection! I also tried their taro rice cakes and they were crispy and delicious! For my drink of choice, I tried their pennywort juice and I was surprised by the large amount I got! It tasted super fresh and herbal. Another great thing about this place is that it closes at midnight... so whenever I'm craving a bowl of noodle soup late at night I will definitely be coming back here!

Samantha J.

Yelp
If I could I would rate this spot a 4.5. I love seafood so when I saw there was a new spot serving bun suong which is basically a shrimp ball noodle soup I knew I had to try it out. We came on a Sunday and were able to easily get a 6 person table without a wait. For food we had: Bun suong: 4/5 broth was clear and light but still flavorful, the shrimp balls were fresh. Garlic shrimp noodle: 5/5 this was so good and will be the dish that keeps me coming back again Banh bot chien: 5/5 this is my favorite one in Houston now (sorry A1 iykyk) It was cooked perfectly to where it was crispy but not hard Overall, service was a bit slow but since it's a mom and pop I didn't mind. I believe the owner himself served us and was very nice. Apparently this place gained some popularity for their "TikTok noodle soup" which imo was good but the other two dishes I got were better. I also saw they sell crawfish so once the season gets started I'll def be trying that out next time

Yelp
I took my Vietnamese parents out for lunch and chose this place because it was close to the HK Market and had good reviews. We ordered the bun suong, taro cake, chicken pho. My mom really enjoyed the bun suong (she's never had it before). She said the shrimp balls were extremely fresh and the broth was light but flavorful. My dad had the chicken pho and said it wasn't bad (which usually means it's pretty good). The taro cake had a nice balance with the veggies. My parents thought the Vietnamese coffee was perfect. The waiter recommended the nuoc mat (which was off the menu). It was a little too sweet for my taste.

Liz I.

Yelp
First time trying this place and loved it. We both ordered B1 and the broth was clear and flavorful. Lots of protein. Will definitely go back.

Lee T.

Yelp
Had their house special noodle. Very unique and different was delicious ,little old lady in front was very sweet and attentive.

Rielly T.

Yelp
2nd time been to this place from old owner to new owner. With the new owner very disappointed with the service and the food. Asked for extra teacup and he isn't happy to give it. Went to asked again for another cup cause we had 4 people. The teacup is very dirty, I had to wipe with tea to cleaned it. The tea wasn't hot either. The bun suong doesn't take good, nothing like the original at all. The rice dish is cold and meat is sour. Definitely will never come back again. I give this place a 4 stars instead of 1 star not cause I like the new management or food but to give them a chance for others to try it out and give it an honest review not fake account giving 5 stars review. When we paid and owner/waiter doesn't care much about it.

Jennifer D.

Yelp
Came here sat June 22, we were craving some late night fried rice and this place was close by . We got the shrimp fried rice , the rice and shrimp were delicious, and they give you These chilis to go along and it taste amazing , we found a straight hair at the bottom of our container and we immediately throw it out . The service was some what quick , the cashier gentleman who took our order was very rude , and I can honestly tell he was discriminating towards me and my boyfriend by the way he talk and service us as we saw he was very welcoming and kind and respectful to other none color people . I was having high hopes for this place but definitely a big disappointment. Would I return ? Absolutely not.

Jesse G.

Yelp
The place was very clean. Good hospitality. Food was to die for! The portions could have fed two people. I had the To Mi Toi and the Cha Gio Tom Thit and 2 cold beers I will definitely go back. Good place to have a lunch date.

Jenn M.

Yelp
This place is SO good. Not the typical Vietnamese dishes I've had. The bun suong is top notch--broth is so flavorful and has so much shrimp and meat, I had to keep from drinking all the broth. The garlic shrimp noodles were also really good. The shrimp was delicious and packed with flavor and noodles cooked perfectly. I think the only thing that could make it better is addition of some veggies. Shrimps are also huge. The restaurant is huge and their hours are 9 am to midnight, which is also awesome. Highly recommend this place!

Tudon M.

Yelp
The food was tasty. The crawfish were large (frozen as they're not in season). The service was friendly and fast. The owner does a good job of taking care of you. The ambiance is very traditional Vietnamese. Music and videos in the background to set the tone. Will be back during crawfish season.

Tri D.

Yelp
I've been to this spot about 9-10 times already & each time I've dine in or take out my experience has been above exceptional. This place has gone through 3 name changes, before Quan Ba Ky it was called Crawfish garlic noodles. I don't remember the name before Crawfish garlic noodles but they were more focused on their soups especially the house favorite which was the "Bun Suong". Now I think their main dishes are the garlic noodles & their seafood boil. Usually when I come here I go for take out. I usually order the same thing. If I feel like eating soup, I'll get the "Bun Suong" which is still their top tier soup since the original name for this restaurant. If my budget is plentiful then I'll order some crawfish with snow crabs. I love the Bun Suong, it's flavorful, great umami flavor & the broth has a lot of depth. It's a very shrimpy flavored soup so if that's what you like, then you'll definitely enjoy it. The only complaint I have is sometimes the meats are a bit chewy. However the portions are generous. Another item that I order is the seafood boil. I enjoy their "magic mix" flavor. It's on the mild side. It's sweet, garlicky and buttery. Some people aren't fans of sweet sauce but this was perfect. I love their snow crab because the sizes on them bad boys are big. Idk who their vendor is but stick to it. At the moment the crawfish is at 8.99, I honestly don't think it's fresh but it still holds a bouncy texture. The only thing they need to improve on is having more flavor inside the crawfish versus having to dip the meat into their magic mix sauce. The manager is such a nice guy, he let me try the lemongrass limeade & I thought it was okay. It's a different take for a drink but I don't think lemongrass should be made into a drink. But if you like unique beverages then this is the one for you. Overall, great service along with good food. They did a lot of renovations from the first time I came so it does look better. They are located in a strip where there's really no traffic coming in and out. I did inform the manager and owner that they need to move across the street or a little bit further down on Wilcrest and Bellaire so they'll have more customers coming in. Every time I order to go, I'm the only one there or 2 customers in the restaurant. I really hope they make it because they make you feel at home & the food is very good. They also have Pho & Bun Bo Hue if you want to stick with the basics. Will I come back? Yes, I'll be back to try their garlic noodles with shrimp.

Yelp
The service.... Could improve sooooo much! We were told to sit down wherever we liked and it took the only waiter 15 min to come take our order. He was catering to two other tables that seem to be family/ friends. Not sure why we stayed but we did. The food was very flavorful but won't be back again.

Yelp
This place is AMAZING! Great service and the food is bomb. The bun suong and shrimp garlic noodles. The nuoc mat is good too

Yelp
I liked the Bun Suong here -- the shrimp dumplings had that textural quality that Cantonese speakers would call "song", juicy and fresh and plump. The soup broth and herbs were delicious. The garlic noodles were pretty good too and the shrimp had the same quality. My only complaint was that the owner suggested that we get the winter melon juice, which I love but I specifically asked him if it was too sweet and he said no. It was really really sweet. Even my kids couldn't drink it. I do not recommend the sweet drinks here.

Yelp
The shrimp and pork eggroll appetizer was fantastic. The perfect crunch and flavors made it very special. B1 and P2 soups are unforgettable. The pho broth is truly one of the best phos I've ever had. The garlic shrimp noodle is also very tasty. The noodles are perfectly cooked and flavored. My 4 year old loved it. My kids also enjoyed the fried catfish too. We will come back. What a gem of a restaurant!

Yelp
The food was amazing. I can probably say one of the best pho I've had. The service was good and the ambience was very relaxed.

Yelp
Food was fantastic - specifically the Garlic Noodles with Shrimp. The Taro cake and the "tik tok soup" Bun Suong Ba Ky. All are flavorful and well executed. The owner is the server. He is very interested in your experience as well. The food is fresh, tasty and served quickly.

Yelp
Parking was good. Ambiance inside is nice. The service is good, server was very nice and funny. The food was alright definitely had room for improvement. The shrimp garlic noodles were good. Noodles were good but the shrimp had a slight sour taste that wasn't the best. Fresh shrimp though. Our egg rolls were undercooked, pork was pink but had good flavor. The pho was a disappointment for me. Plenty of meat, but man that broth was stinky. Idk if the broth was old or they boiled some bad beef bones but it'll was bad. They also used different noodles they were flat. Based off my experience with the food, I wouldnt come back but the service was great though.

Yelp
This hole in a wall place is a must try. The ambiance is just perfect. The owner is friendly and very helpful. And the food oh it's just delicious. The portions are generously huge. I ordered wonton noodle soup and it got big shrimps and shrimp balls and meat inside which you definitely don't get in other places. I'll be back for more

Yelp
We were hesitant to order the garlic noodles because we were thinking "how good could garlic noodles possibly be?" and the answer is VERY very good. I need to know how many garlic heads were killed in the making of this dish because I have never had a garlic dish with so much flavor. It was so delicious. The shrimp was super crispy and sweet as well. I can imagine this being a really good late night food and they seem to have late hours, so I'm excited to come back again. The bun suong was quite tasty as well but overshadowed by the garlic noodles I fear. I really enjoyed getting both dishes together. I would say the broth is a little bit of everything--it's spicy, sweet, fresh due to the lemongrass and herbs you add into it, and has great texture with the crispy onions and peanuts. I feel like this is one of the few places I've seen in Houston who highlight this as their noodle dish. Great alternative to pho, bun bo hue, or bun rieu. The owner was also super nice and attentive. I hope this place gets lots of business and will definitely tell some friends to come!

Yelp
Service was good but we were sad that we were the only customers. We ordered 2 noodle dishes and some boiled seafood. The chicken noodle soup was a bit salty but had good flavor. Gotta say my bun sung or however you spell it was the best. We got the crab special boil that was supposed to come with 1lb crab, 1lb shrimp, 1 snow crab cluster, eggs, potatoes and corn. My disappointment is the 1 cluster was actually only half a cluster. Not worth the $40 but the flavor was good. I hope this place makes it.

Yelp
Both were bomb but the bun suông has my heart the shrimp cakes were so fresh and you can feel the springy bites every time!

Yelp
I had an amazing experience at Quantum Bay Ky. Everything we ordered was amazing, fresh, and tasty. The service was excellent and the staff was very engaging. So much so that I finally took the stage for karaoke. I could eat there everyday.

Yelp
I don't understand why there is not a line out the door! This place was sooo good! We started with the Egg Rolls. They were so crispy and with a good amount of filling. We ordered the Bun Suong and Shrimp and Garlic Noodles to share. The flavor of the Bun Suong was incredibly flavorful. I am picky about shrimp balls and not always a fan. There were amazing, just shrimp! The Shrimp with Garlic Noodles was just as good! The shrimp were in a semi sweet sauce and perfectly cooked.we also ordered the peach lemonade, strawberry lemonade and the Vietnamese Iced coffee. All were amazing, I will be craving the peach lemonade. Note the lemonades were pretty sweet but oh so good. Mom and Pop place, please, please visit this amazing plac

Yelp
Let's see ambience....this is most definitely a seafood spot and reasonably priced for portions. Eggrolls were 4/5, Bun Suong 3/5, Lemongrass Limeade 5/5. The matriarch greeted me as I came in and it was open seating which was nice. We didn't have to do the awkward dance of them having to pick just the right seat. I got to choose. Service was pleasant food didn't take too long to come out and it was piping hot cooked fresh. My only feedback was the restroom needed some attention and soap for guest. Other than that I had a good visit and most definitely will return back. I gotta try the crab and shrimp garlic noodles!

Yelp
This place change to so many different restaurants. This one I'm impressed. The decor is meh but the food is pretty good. It's not that busy cause people don't know about it. They got the garlic noodle and shrimp since I can't eat meat on these next Fridays until Easter Sunday. I had the noodle special here, I'm blanking out on the name of it. This is must try if you want experience different food from your normal places on Bellaire. They do have crawfish and I'm going try next.

Yelp
Not good no flavor is plain and they gave us wrong order don't recommend poor service

Yelp
Came here for lunch and it was pretty empty. Ordered the crawfish garlic noodles cause ya know it's the name of the restaurant. You pay extra if you want the crawfish peeled for you. All I want to say is, my goodness, it was so delicious. Their dipping sauce was so good I poured it in with the noodles after I was done peeling all the crawfish and made sure to not drop all the salt in too. Gloves got ripped while peeling shrimp, but hey what's new? These meals definitely take a lot longer to finish so if you see this place busy, you're probably gonna be waiting a while for a table to open up due to the nature of things. Owner was very friendly. When I'm back in Houston, I'd come back here for the noodles again.

Yelp
Bún suông was decent and very large in portion! Liked how all the ingredients were fresh. The eggrolls were fantastic. I'd like to come back to try the other dishes. The older waiter helping me was very kind and witty, but oddly in the end he made me get my own to go box which wasn't a big deal but I saw him getting it for another table. That's the wit of uncles for you!
